a hard time after having him.

I had a serious bout
of postpartum depression.

But in a way,
that's what brought me here.

It's kind of what pushed me
to try and find myself again.

And I'm looking forward
to this new chapter in my life.

I haven't stopped thinking
about either of you
since the last time.

I sound more Italian

when you walk in the room,
by the way.

I'm like, "
Ma, you gotta listen to this."

And I
don't talk like that.

It's okay. My mom was like,

on live television, Bella?"

The blind audition was crazy.

I could have never imagined

that I would be here
on Team Ariana today.

I moved to New York City
at 18 years old.

I auditioned for a couple
of colleges for musical theater,

but I got rejected
from my top school.

And I automatically was like,
"Nope.

That's not
the right field for me."

So I moved back home
with my parents,

and that might have been
the best thing for me.

They're my huge
support system.

Currently, I perform
with my parents

when I can at local gigs.

I feel like all of the paths
so far has been making me

realize who I am
as a person and an artist.

And this is my time.

in just wanting to perform.

I taught myself how to play
the guitar and piano,

and it kind of all led up to me

a full‐time musician

touring around the United States

and playing a lot at breweries,
wineries,

private parties, weddings.

I'm a full‐time dad
at the same time,

and he means everything to me.

The whole motivation
behind my audition song

was just thinking about
how much I miss him.
