The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (2010–…): Season 5, Episode 20 - Reunion Part One - full transcript

The gripping three-part reunion begins with Yolanda revealing the difficulties she faces relapsing with Lyme disease. Although she does leave the couch early, Yolanda stays long enough to defend her daughter from Brandi's "alcoholic" comment and attempts to create some peace within the group. Kim declares she has more "pride" than Lisa Rinna in the roles she chooses and Brandi and Lisa Vanderpump getting into an argument that suggests little future for their onetime friendship.

- Tonight...
- I don't throw wine glasses.

- I throw wine.
- You throw wine.

Oh, what's
the [bleep] difference?

It's called assault
and battery, bitch.

(Andy) The three-part
Beverly Hills reunion begins.

Shut the [bleep] up.

You really want to talk
about that?

Her dog bit my daughter.

You're horrible.
This is why I don't like her.

My daughter
almost lost her hand!

I'll tell the story,
and you won't like it.

Oh, wow.

You shut the [bleep] up!
I'm so sick of you.

Go eat.

Why is it in your interest to
try and ruin the relationship?

Watch your back.

"Hi, I'm Lisa Rinna."

I can give you a lap dance,
if you want, if you're nice.

I have a little more pride
than you do.

But you did
"Diving with the Stars."

[laughs]

You've had the same hairdo
for 20 years.

I think that it's very easy
to just kick her to the curb,

you know, like a bag of trash.

I don't walk around naked with
a tampon string hanging out.

'Cause you don't get
your period anymore, bitch.

[groans]

You have a double standard

like I've never seen
in my [bleep] life.

[low voice] "Oh, no, Lisa.

"I didn't have sex with her,
because she was too drunk.

I think you're just pissed

that he didn't want
to [bleep] you.

You heard he had an affair?

Did he have an affair?
What'd he do?

That's a big question, Andy.

This was epic.

I don't feel like I really
owe you any apologies

after what you've done to me.

You're so [bleep] mean!
Just leave me alone!

Hey, everybody.

Welcome to the Real Housewives
of Beverly Hills Reunion.

I'm Andy Cohen.

Joining me are the beautiful
and beguiling ladies

of Beverly Hills.

- Hi, Brandi.
- Hi, Andy.

Ready for today?

Yep.

Very good.

- Hi, Kyle.
- Hi, Andy.

- Good to see you.
- Thank you.

Good to see you.

- Hi, Kim.
- Hi, Andy.

- Love the pink.
- Thank you.

Lisa Vanderpump.

You know it's my favorite day
of the year.

- Oh, yes.
- Can't wait to be here.

[laughter]

- Hi, Eileen.
- Hi, Andy.

- Welcome to your first reunion.
- Thank you.

It's not like
Young and the Restless.

No, it's much more dramatic.

Yes. Speaking of drama,
hi, Lisa Rinna.

Hi, Andy Cohen.

- Good to see you.
- Nice to see you.

- Hi, Yolanda.
- Hi, Andy.

It's so nice to see you.

Nice to see you.

We have so many questions
for all of you.

It's been
such a dramatic season.

Pierre from Sioux City, Iowa,
said, "Kim,

"I loved seeing you on Revenge.

Will we be seeing
more of you on Revenge?"

Maybe.

And I heard you're also
in Sharknado 3.

[gasps]
Are you supposed to say that?

- I don't know.
- Ah!

I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not.

(Andy)
Danna from Santa Fe,
New Mexico, said,

"Eileen, I love that you
and Vince bet sports together.

What's the most
you've ever won and lost?"

Oh, uh-oh.
This will get me into trouble.

You know, quite a few thousand.

Sure, sure.
And we've lost that same amount.

How's Vince feeling

about seeing himself
on the show this season?

You know, he is who he is.

That was his little head
poking in the window.

- Bring it, bitch.
- I am not...

Really? I know how much
you've been there for her,

and that's zero.

That was hilarious. [laughter]

That was the best moment ever,
I think.

So he was out there
to get a beer,

and he saw all this drama
going on in the driveway.

He does look like he's
mesmerized, doesn't he?

- He just looks...
- Well, how could you not be?

He's got the beer,
and he's like...

I thought it was someone
from the crew.

(Kyle)
I did too, but I didn't know
until I saw it...

Someone sent it to me,
on Twitter,

and I thought
it was a crew member.

Do you remember seeing him
looking out?

I didn't. No, not that night.

- No, right. Okay.
- Of course not.

At the finale party,
we saw Camille flirting

- with that prince.
- Oh, my God.

- [laughs]
- Aw.

(woman)
There's the other prince,
right there.

Let me tell you.

Any update?
Have you spoken to Camille?

Did anything happen there with...

She's in her palace now.
[laughs]

Well, she's in her
Camille Grammer Malibu palace,

or she's in a German palace?

You know what,
I did not even know

that whole little thing
happened.

I was a little taken aback
when I saw that, actually.

(Kim) I didn't either.

I was so in shock
when I saw them kissing.

(Brandi) I thought he was gay.

- I really did. I really did.
- [laughs]

Well, that doesn't mean
he's not.

Well, that's true. [laughter]

As far as we know, Camille
is not a German princess.

(woman)
I'm gonna make a phone call.

I think she's always been
a bit of a princess,

and a crown would
suit her perfectly.

I'm all for it.
I'm very supportive of that.

Marcy from Cherry Hill,
New Jersey, said,

"Brandi, you were
on Celebrity Apprentice,

so I have to know,
is Donald Trump's hair real?"

- It's real.
- It's real.

He does the comb forward
and the spray back.

He does.
It's a very complicated system.

- It's real though.
- Yes.

No love lost between you
and Kenya Moore.

- Absolutely not, no.
- Yes.

How would you describe her?

Very, very smart
and a little bit crazy and evil.

Yolanda, Gigi has become
the hottest model in the world.

[applause] - Bless her.

(Andy)
What is that like for you?
I mean...

You know, I'm just so proud.

You know, Bella, the same.
I mean, Bella...

Tonight they're both walking
in Tom Ford together, and...

Are they? Oh.

[all talking at once]

- Awesome.
- So they're going...

(Lisa V)
They're lovely girls, lovely.

You know, for me,
the most important thing

is that Gigi really takes Bella
under her wing right now,

and, you know,
it's a tough world.

You know, it's not
an easy business to be in

and being judged on the way
you look every day of the week.

You wrote on your Bravo blog...

You said, "I have lost
the ability to read, write,

"or even watch TV

"because I can't process
information

or any stimulation,
for that matter."

You had a serious relapse
with your Lyme disease.

Tell me what your life
is like day-to-day.

Do you really want
to talk about that?

[sobs]

(Andy)
Well, I mean, I want to know.

I think people really
want to know how you're doing.

You know, people care
about you, and...

I know. It's just... you know.

Just trying to weather
the storm, you know.

Just... my brain just needs
quiet and silence, and...

But I just pray every day

that maybe tomorrow
is a better day, you know?

You were in South Korea?

Because there they have,

you know, the freedom
to work with stem cells,

and you can't get
those treatments here,

and I think, with Lyme,
it takes antibiotics,

but it also takes
a lot of holistic treatment

to balance it out.

(Andy)
I know it was a real effort
for you to come here today,

so thanks for being here,

and hang in here
for as long as you can, okay?

Okay. Thank you.

Brandi, when we last saw you,
your dad was really ill.

- How's he doing?
- He's doing a lot better.

They may have to have
one more open heart surgery,

so, you know, it's just...

He can't do much,
and he's working on... you know,

even just, like, walking around
and stuff, so...

How are you two doing?

Are you two in touch...
You and Kim?

Yeah.

(Andy) Yeah? Okay.

One thing that I do just want
to point out is that,

Kyle, you and Kim actually
haven't spoken

in a few months, right?

Yes.

How long has it been?

- Three months.
- Three months?

Mm-hmm. A little more.

We definitely have some things
that we need to work on.

I don't think
the girls have helped.

I think they have definitely
instigated and made things

worse for us, so I think...

- Well...
- Yeah, they have.

Well, Brandi has.

I mean, everybody else
was trying to help.

I think Kyle and I
need to work on some stuff,

but it has to take place

outside the setting
with a therapist and, you know...

If we think it's something
we want to work on.

At this point, right now,

I am really okay
just the way things are.

This relationship, for me...

I mean, I'm happy in my life
today, is what I'm saying.

I'm very happy today in my life.

I miss you.
I miss my sister... a lot.

A whole lot.

Well, I'm... you know,

right now, I don't really know
what I want to do either,

but I do know that
if and when we do speak,

I'm only interested
in having honest conversations.

When you want to do that,
I would love to do that.

Okay. All right.

We are gonna lose Yolanda
at some point,

so I want to move on.

Whenever the ladies
aren't getting along,

you can count on the resident
Dutch beauty to play peacemaker.

Could Yolanda build one lasting
dream team this year,

or would she end up
throwing in the towel

by season's end?

Let's find out.

What happened?

Why did you guys
all get in a fight?

Kyle... she grabbed my hand,

and when she grabbed my hand,
something scratched me,

and I just got pissed.

We were standing there,
and she put her fist up

like she's gonna hit me.

When I was talking
to the girls, you know,

they're saying, "You know, well,
she's... Brandi's an angry drunk,

and she's drinking too much,
and we think she has a"...

- Who's saying this?
- Just the girls.

(Yolanda)
In Beverly Hills,
nobody really shows anymore

the true core of who
they are as a human being,

and I think that that,
to me, is important.

I took her for coffee,
this morning,

and I tried to say,
in the sweetest way possible...

Why the sweetest way?

What not tell her,
"You're out of [bleep] order"?

- Why didn't you tell her?
- No, I... I did.

I told her
that it's unacceptable.

I feel like I need to keep
trying to engage her

to not just show up every day
and be an ass[bleep].

You need to start
thinking before you speak.

We had this discussion
this morning,

and I already know that,
but that happened last night.

You [bleep] people
over and over.

You don't get to go like this
and hit people and go on...

- I didn't hit...
- [bleep] you. [bleep] you.

(Yolanda voice-over)
I don't want to deal with it
anymore.

I want to have a nice dinner,

and if they can't join me,
then I'll do it by myself.

Can we have the check please?

So, Yolanda, why do you think
you play peacemaker so much?

I'm not deciding
to play peacemaker.

It's just... I feel that I maybe
look at life a little different.

More with my heart...
With an open heart...

Rather than judgmental
in my head all the time.

Lisa V, what do you make
of Yolanda

kind of looking out for Brandi?

I think she makes excuses
for Brandi,

and sometimes when Brandi
does things, I feel that Yolanda

gives Brandi a pass,

and I don't, really,
quite understand that.

Well, I don't think
I give her a pass.

I think...
I don't make excuses for her,

and I think that it's very easy

for all of us to just
kick her to the curb,

you know, like a bag of trash,
and just move on with life,

and pretend we're all
so perfect and great.

But none of us are great,
and I think that...

Well, I also think
it's a different story

when you haven't been
on the receiving end also.

I just, in my heart,
feel that she needs all of us,

and I will not allow her
to push me to the side,

because that's what
everybody does.

I have to say, I have been
on the receiving end,

and I think there is a time

that you can forgive
and see the good as well.

So I have to disagree with that.

Like, there comes a time
in your life

that you do have to put
things aside

and see the good in somebody
and move forward, so...

And I did that too.
We had our issues

and worked through them,
and it happened again and again.

(Kim)
I understand,
but I'm just saying...

No, I'm saying,
from Yolanda's perspective,

she never really has,

and I don't know
how differently she'd feel

or handle it if something
happened to her like that.

(Lisa V)
Well, apart from the one remark
about Bella.

Those kind of low blows,
it's not acceptable.

(Andy) Coming up...

She's drinking.
She becomes aggressive,

and it might not be her problem,

but it sure ends up as ours.

(Kyle)
From Yolanda's perspective...

She's never really been
on the receiving end also,

and I don't know
how differently she would feel

or handle it if something
happened to her like that.

(Lisa V)
Well, apart from the one remark
about Bella.

You're saying,
"Am I an alcoholic?"

You've heard that
about your daughter.

You're now
personally attacking me...

- Oh, I'm not.
- About my daughter,

while I'm just trying
to help you with your friend.

- Oh, my gosh, I was not...
- Well, it is.

- I'm not attacking you.
- She's 17.

- You are.
- I'm not.

Those kind of low blows,
it's not acceptable.

Well, my way to react
was not to react.

Right.

Because I don't believe in
eye-for-an-eye, so when she's...

Well, I'm not saying
an eye-for-an-eye,

but I could still say,
"Hey, that is not...

I wasn't taking a low blow,
just so you know.

"That was not acceptable."

When you said that remark...

I was not taking a hit at her.
I was simply saying,

"When people are saying this
about your daughter,

and you know it's not true,
it still hurts."

Okay, my question is,
were people...

I've never heard
that about Bella.

Okay, were people saying that
about her daughter?

It was in blogs.
It was in magazines...

(Andy)
It was in blogs
that she had a DUI,

but it wasn't in blogs that
she had a problem with drinking.

Never, never.

No, you hit back at Yolanda...

- I did not.
- Because Yolanda said,

"Hey, we've got a problem"...
Just the way you hit back at me.

"We've got a problem
with your drinking"...

It did come off like that,
even though you...

- That's not how it was meant.
- Yes, it was.

And then you suddenly
did a low...

(Andy)
Okay, you didn't mean it
that way.

You gave her a low blow.

You gave her a low blow,
and you said,

"Well, what about Bella?"

Let's let Yolanda comment.

You know, when she said it...
When you said it to me...

I knew exactly
what you were doing.

(Lisa V) What was she doing?

You were trying to divert
your story to my daughter.

- Yes, exactly.
- Exactly.

And I consciously decided
not to go for it,

because my daughter
is 17 years old.

She's not an alcoholic,

and nobody's ever said
that about her, so...

Well, I'm 42,
and I'm an alcoholic,

but you can all say it about me?

You were talking
about her 17-year-old daughter.

[all speaking at once]

I was trying to help you.
I wasn't attacking you.

And Bella's 17
and didn't sign up for this.

No, and Bella also had
a glass of wine and a DUI...

(Kyle)
To bring her into it
wasn't fair.

And I've known Bella
since she's a little baby...

And she was comparing Bella's
activity or misdemeanor

or whatever it was... you know,
a misstep... to her drinking,

and that's not
a fair comparison.

If it had been me, I would
have said, "You know what?

"You stop right there.
You do not compare

what my daughter's been through
to your situation."

I didn't want to get off-topic.

It's already hard enough for me
to stick with...

Well, for some reason...
I understand. I understand.

My train of thought, so...

Well, Shelley
from Sydney, Australia, said,

"Why is it Yolanda's job
to try and fix Brandi?

Didn't she chide Lisa
last year for mothering her?"

It's not my job.

It's what I feel in my heart,
and I can't...

Sometimes you can't
justify that in your head.

It's just my feeling...
My compassion for her

as a human being.

She's somebody's daughter,
somebody's mother,

somebody's friend,

and I just don't think that
we all need to point out anymore

how dysfunctional
her mouth can be.

Jen from Wheeling,
West Virginia, said,

"Yolanda, was getting Brandi
to do a 21-day cleanse

your way of saying, 'I think
you have a drinking problem?'"

No, not at all.

I trusted when she says,
"I don't drink,"

that she doesn't drink.

I wanted her to show everybody

that she can be
21 days without alcohol.

How was the cleanse?

It was boring...
[Andy and Kim chuckle]

To be honest,
but here's the thing,

I have two children.
I'm a single mom.

There's a lot of times
I don't drink,

but when I'm around this group,

you kind of need alcohol
to deal with them.

Did you do the whole 21 days?

Absolutely. When I set my mind
to something, I do it, period.

And I lost seven pounds,
so it was great.

Yeah, but now
you're blaming your drinking

on being around this group.

That's not...
It's not just saying,

"I need a drink
to be around this group."

(Brandi) I like to have wine.

I'm not "blame"...
Drinking is not a problem.

(Lisa V)
You drink many times
without this group.

I mean, I'm just saying
that to point...

(Brandi)
Listen. People drink.
People smoke pot.

People do things here.

You're gonna keep
pointing that out,

it's gonna come
right back at you.

No, but I'm saying...
When you're saying, "Oh, well,

I have to drink to be around
these women," like it's our...

If you guys are all having
a drink, and I can't... I can't?

Never said you couldn't.

So then what's the problem?

Do you think you change
when you drink?

Of course. Who doesn't?

Do you think... Eileen said
that you're a mean drunk.

That when you drink,
you get mean.

How do you feel about that?

(Brandi)
I think it depends
on the company.

I mean, I can give you
a lap dance, if you want.

If you're nice.

You know what, can I say this?

My only experience is
what I see you do, Brandi.

I don't know how you are
with other people

or when you're drinking
with other people.

If I'm commenting
on your behavior,

I'm commenting on how
you're behaving in front of me

in my home.

Okay.

So, I mean, that's all
I can comment on.

And I have not ever said
you were an alcoholic.

I have no idea.

I do think that you can't
handle your alcohol well

from what I've seen.

You cross over into being
very aggressive...

- That's true.
- And bitchy and...

- No, that's not true though.
- Not nice.

Or you're very slurry,
and you want...

[chuckles] That's true.

You know, your whole thing
with Babyface.

It's just... there's just
this whole situation

of ugliness that happens.

Kim, how do you think
Brandi changes

when she's been drinking?

Sometimes she doesn't
change at all.

Sometimes she's fun.

Sometimes she gets
a little ornery.

[chuckles]

I think it just, like she said,

depends on who she's with
and the environment.

I've seen Brandi, over
the years, with her children.

Lovely. Not drinking.

I'm not contesting that at all.

I'm saying, often,
when we're out, she's drinking.

She becomes aggressive,
and it might not be her problem,

but it sure ends up as ours.

(Andy)
On a lighter note, the trip
to Amsterdam looked so great.

Did you really not remember
the guy at the windmill?

I swear to God
I didn't remember.

Oh, there was
a connection there.

Come on. I saw it. [laughter]

[both speaking Dutch]

[laughs]

- He was cute, Yolanda.
- So cute.

- He was cute.
- So cute.

Who? The guy
with the big shaggy beard?

Yes, I liked him.
I thought he was cute.

I know where his windmill is.

You need to go over there
and check it out.

Check out his windmill?

But, you know, I would have been
really happy

living in a windmill right now.

You should build a windmill
on your property.

Well, you... no, I want to buy
one there where I grew up.

(Andy)
Oh, you want to buy one there?

Yes.

Debbie from Fargo,
North Dakota, said,

"How can Bella,
who has professional movers

"and an interior decorator
for her freshman year apartment,

"really be expected
to learn her lesson

about drinking and driving?"

I don't think her carrying
her furniture on her back

is gonna teach her anything
about driving or not drinking.

Right.

What did you try
to teach Bella after the DUI?

That I love her unconditionally,

and no matter what mistake
she's going to make in life

or what comes down,
I've got her back.

I'm in her team.

There's so much more to Bella...

That's awesome. Love that.

Than a DUI.

I mean, she's such
an extraordinary human being,

and the lesson is for her
to learn within herself.

We are just normal people
like everybody else.

My children are no better
than anybody else...

Nobody's perfect.

Even the people
that live in Ohio.

We all have the same problems.

There was an article
on The Daily Beast,

and it was specifically
about you.

This doctor wrote
that he was worried

that you were receiving
erroneous treatment

and could possibly
be misdiagnosed.

What was your reaction
to that article?

Well, you know,
there's people in my family

that deny my disease.

That hurts.

Some stranger trying to doubt
what I go through

doesn't mean anything to me,

because he's never even
seen my medical files.

He doesn't know what
he's talking about.

Some ass[bleep] saying

that I'm not sick
doesn't mean anything.

Okay.

How are you feeling right now?

- I need to go to bed.
- Yeah.

- Aw.
- Yeah.

(Andy)
Okay, before I let you go,

is there anything else
about the season

or these women
or yourself that you want

to get off your chest
before you leave?

You know what, I honestly feel

that we, as a team...
As the dream team...

I really feel
that we thrived this season.

And I feel that... you know,
I'm excited to hopefully get...

You know, get well

and get back around the table
and really grow from here.

Life today is very lonely,
you know?

We all need a community.

We all need to look out
for each other.

I hope we can do that
with you feeling your best.

We all wish a good recovery
for you.

- Thank you.
- Get some rest.

Thank you. Thank you.

We'll be back with more
after this.

(Andy) Coming up...

"Hi, I'm Lisa Rinna." [laughs]

Welcome back

to The Real Housewives
of Beverly Hills Reunion.

There's a lot I could say
about this new housewife:

Actress and hustler.
Mother of two.

Married to a Hollywood hunk.

But you don't
have to hear it from me.

Her lips will speak
for themselves.

Here is Lisa Rinna.

Red leather. Yellow leather.
Red leather. Yellow leather.

Wing away. Wing away.
Wing away. Wing.

[babbling]

As an actor, you've got to get
these lips in action,

or you're fumbling your words.

Oh, this is a good part for me.

She's trying to stay
youthful and relatable...

(both) With highlights.

(Lisa R voice-over)
I'll do anything to make a buck.

I don't say no very much.
I say yes.

(man)
Lisa has tried on
and is currently wearing...

[laughs]

The new Depends Silhouette
for Women.

Okay, so... Oregon.

The house sold,

and I have to go up
and just get my stuff out.

(Lisa R voice-over)
I just belong in a big city.

Like, I didn't belong
in Medford, Oregon.

A lot of people
are chub chubs here.

Fast food is king here.

Hi, Daddy. How are you doing?

My dad is 92,
which is a miracle in itself.

He's really strong though.

He just, like,
fights through it,

because I think
he doesn't want to leave my mom.

- Bye-bye, house.
- Let's get your stuff.

- Here's my purse.
- Oh.

I can't imagine I'm not
gonna be seeing it again.

What I'm realizing is,
I'm now the adult,

and I now am taking care
of my parents.

You don't prepare for that.

You're never ready for it.

[chuckles]

Good.

Mmm.

Aw, it was so sweet seeing you
visit your parents in Oregon.

How are they doing?

Well, my dad's actually
in the hospital right now.

'cause we were having
a good time,

and the next day,
with everything that happened,

I'm like, "Oh, wow,
she's just gonna take this one

to the bank," and she did,

and she's still talking
about it. I mean...

(Andy)
Well, I asked her about it.

No, I did not make
a big deal out of it.

Okay.

(Andy)
When it happened, it seemed like

the two of you were
playing around.

We were.

No, no. She was like, "Come on,

I want to kiss you,"
and I was like, "Stop. Stop."

She had a couple of drinks.
"Stop. Stop. Get...

Stop, stop, stop."
She gets a bit physical.

"I don't want to kiss you."
Then she slapped me.

She always goes too far.

Let me ask you a question.
Do you think

that she meant it maliciously
when she did it?

- No, no, no.
- And she said that right away.

I mean, do you think
she was trying to...

She said that right away.

She said she didn't mean it
to be malicious.

She didn't mean it maliciously,

but the fact is, it just changed

the whole dynamic
of the friendship again.

(Andy)
Kyle, you said on the show
the only thing Lisa

holds on to more than Giggy
is a grudge.

How do you think
she treated Brandi?

Well, I have told Lisa
she can hold a grudge sometimes,

but I do believe that at times
she's very justified.

I will say I cannot blame her

for not wanting to continue
a friendship with Brandi,

and if we call that a grudge,
then I hold one too.

(Andy) Okay, Lisa and Brandi,

what do you think the future
holds for you two? I mean...

Separate lives.

Yeah. Not interested.

I wish her well with the boys,
and everything.

Can you guys have fun again,
do you think?

No, because she'll probably
end up throwing a drink

in my face or slapping me.

I'm not interested
in that kind of friendship.

[laughs] Watch your back.

Well, yeah, trust me.

- I'm sure I have to.
- You do.

I thought
you were gonna attack her,

like you said on your podcast

that you wanted to beat me up
when you saw me.

I would love to.

In my head,
I've done it a million times.

Classic.

(Andy)
Next week,
the reunion continues.

I do think that you can't
handle your alcohol well.

- [bleep] you.
- [bleep] you.

I've never told the real story.

About my child?

- Yep.
- Oh, wow.

You want me to tell?

I don't really want
to get involved,

but I kind of feel like
if I don't,

if something happened,
that would not be good.

Who do you think dropped
the F-bomb the most?

[laughter]

It's called assault
and battery, bitch.

No, it's not.
I didn't touch her.

Yes, it is.
You threw a glass down.

- It got all over me!
- Well, didn't you tell me

you were gonna knock my teeth
down my throat?

Have I done it yet?

- What?
- You're horrible!

- I can't even look at her.
- I'm just gonna leave.

I'm gonna leave.

I love you as my sister.

As a person, right now,
I don't like you.

I agree.
