[Eddy] The Three Sisters.

On the Skycedar menu today,
pecan maple-glazed corn cakes

with fresh huckleberry jam for funsies.

Dad, this is so, mmm,

delicious.

I could eat ten whole bowls,
and my tummy might still growl.

And the best part is,

I grew most of the ingredients
in the park garden.

Really? That’s so cool.
Can we see the garden after breakfast?

Sure. I’ll show you
all the veggies I’m growing.

But for now,

Lettuce. You get it?

-[Lizard groans]
-[Coyote laughs]

That’s a good joke.
I gotta use that sometime.

[exciting music plays]

Wow!

It’s amazing.

Squash, corn, and beans are
the most important crops in the garden.

They’re companion crops,

which means planting them near each other
helps them grow up big and strong.

Some tribes call them "the three sisters."

These carrots look delicious.

Argh, my teeth are gone!

Losing teeth is a good thing.

Your new teeth will grow in soon.

I know just how to celebrate.

We’ll make a soft veggie stew.

for a newly toothless junior ranger.

But I need you to gather me up

while I prep the kitchen.

[gasps] Eddy, your chompers!

You could drive
a herd of wild bighorn sheep

between your teeth now.

Maybe later.
Dad sent us to gather some veggies.

Hey, everybody. Um, is it just me,
or do those crops look… sad?

[Eddy] Oh, no!

All of the crops are withering away.

Dad’s so proud of his vegetable garden,
and now it’s wilting.

Well, you are in luck.

If you’re out of veggies,
you can try one of my bug dishes instead.

I could make you a cricket soufflé.

Or my firefly fly-jita.

Or my signature bug-sagna.

-Bug-sagna?
-Yuck.

-Oh, don’t be shy.

There’s plenty of bugs to go around.
