Welcome to Sing On!

Six contestants,

five sizzling summer anthems,

and one giant jackpot

of up to $60,000!

Oh yes!

We don't got no judges on this show.

We got the vocal analyzer.

It does it all.

You know how this works, come on.
Let's meet the singers.

[all cheering]

Whoa!

Frankie, welcome to Sing On!

Thank you, Tituss.

If you could invite an artist to perform
at your summer beach party,

who would it be?

It would be a fellow Canadian.

He's kind of cute.

Shawn Mendes.

Oh yes.

That's a good pick. That'd be my choice.

-Hey, Shawny.
-[audience laughs]

You're no stranger to the stage, right?

I'm a former Mr. Canada,

and I competed at Mr. World.

[audience cheers]

-What?
-Mr. World

is the largest male beauty pageant

and it involves public speaking,
a fashion walk...

Oh! The show will be better
for you being here.

Thank you.

Seibreanna,
you're our youngest contestant.

I am 18 years old.

-Eighteen years old!
-[audience cheers]

-Are you feeling confident?
-Yes, I am.

Welcome to the show, Christopher.

Thank you.

What's your favorite genre of music?

I love opera.

-It's my...
-[audience] Ooh!

It's the passion,

the drama, the showmanship.

Can you give us an operatic version
of Sing On!?

♪ Sing On! ♪

[audience cheers]

[Tituss] Beautiful!

Well, friends,

get those voices ready.

FYI, the vocal analyzer
compares the singer's performance

to that of the original artist.

And the lyrics are assigned randomly,

so they have no idea
when it's their turn to sing.

[laughs]

What a dastardly rule.

I love it.

-[audience laughs]
-Y'all ready for some music?

[audience cheering]

Our first summer anthem

is worth up to $10,000!

[audience cheers]

The difficulty with this song

is the constantly changing vocal rhythm.

It's "Livin' La Vida Loca"
by Ricky Martin.

Sing on!

[audience cheering]

[audience cheering]

Good job.

Whoo!

Oh, they came ready to blow the roof off!

Oh my God.

Daddy needs a popsicle. [chuckles]

The vocal analyzer has done the math,

and out of a possible $10,000,

you all banked $6,000.

Oh wow!

And that money is now safe in the jackpot.

But which singer has the highest score

and moves to the next round?

Well, with a scorching 72%,

the most accurate singer was...

Elise!

[audience cheering]

Yes.

-Thank you.
-Wow.

-Whoo!
-It's gettin' hot in here!

So Elise will sing on,
