Welcome to Sing On!

[audience cheering]

Five country songs
stand between these contestants

and a jackpot of up to $60,000.

Now, we don't need judges on this show.

We've got a vocal analyzer
that tracks every note.

The more they sing in tune,

the more money they add
to that barrel of a jackpot.

And one of them
is guaranteed to win it all!

Only the most accurate singer
goes on to the next round,

while someone else
gets voted out of the game.

[audience] Aww!

Don't go shedding a tear, partner.

-We need to stay strong.
-[audience laughs]

Now, let's meet the contestants!

Emily, you're from Nashville.

I am!

You must feel right at home
with our "Country" playlist.

-I sure do.
-[Tituss] I love it!

Has music always been in your life?

Yes. My mom says I could sing
before I could talk.

Oh, wow. We've got a prodigy on our hands.

[audience cheering]

Brett, how tall are you?

-Six-six.
-What's the view like up there?

It's very nice. There's so much air
being a tall person.

If you weren't standing here right now,
what would you be doing?

I'd be making smoothies.

I'm an entrepreneur,
I own a smoothie bar.

[audience cheering]

And are those smoothies responsible
for your 6'6" frame?

Yes.

-Welcome to Sing On!,William.
-Thank you.

[audience cheering]

Have you ever won
any competitions before?

Actually, yes. I won
a Reserve Grand Champion in pig-showing.

-In what?
-[audience cheering]

In... In pig-showing
with the local county fair, I...

-Pig? Like, "oink-oink"?
-Yes.

Leading them around
and then you...

-You show them.
-Yes, and you win awards and ribbons,

and then you sell them to a happy farm.

-[audience laughs]
-Huh.

-I'm a vegetarian now.
-Wow.

Well, friends, get those voices ready,

and we'll hear from the rest of you
later in the show.

FYI, the vocal analyzer compares
this performance

to the original artist.

The lyrics are assigned randomly,
so they have no idea

when it's their turn.

And which evil genius
came up with that idea?

-It was me.
-[audience laughs]

Y'all ready for some music?

[audience cheering]

Let's saddle up with a song

by one of the best-selling female artists
in country music history

and its worth up to $10,000!

It's a tough start.

Singers, go easy on your riffing.

It's Shania Twain,

"That Don't Impress Me Much."

-Sing on!
-[audience cheering]

[Tituss] Wow!

That hoedown was a showdown!

The vocal analyzer has done the math

and out of a possible $10,000,

you all banked $5,100.

That money is now safe in the jackpot,

but which singer has the highest score
and moves to the next round?

Well, with 62%,

the most accurate singer...

was Brett.

[audience cheering]

How do you feel?

-Feels great.
-Aww, congratulations!

So, Brett will sing on,

but that means everyone else
faces elimination.

But who goes?

That's up to the singers to decide.

So, singers...

[melodically] decide!

[audience laughs]

Brett, since you're safe from elimination,

let's ask you first.

Who do you want to leave?

A singer who's missing their notes,
or someone who poses a threat?

A singer who misses notes.

All right.

-William.
-[Tituss] Oh!

-[audience] Ooh!
-All right.

William?

For the competition, I chose Alexia.

-Okay.
-[audience] Aww!

Alexia, my dear, who did you choose?

William.

-[audience] Ooh!
-Henry, reveal all.

I also chose William.

[audience] Aww!

Alyssa, who got your vote?

My vote also missed some notes.

It was William.

[audience] Aww!

Emily, who did you choose?

I also chose William.

-I'm sorry.
-[audience] Aww!

William received the most votes,

so I'm very sad to say

it's game over for you, partner.

-But will you stay and sing on with us?
-Of course.

All right, let's give it up for William.

[audience cheering]

We're down to five singers,
but there's plenty more cash to bank.

It's time to tell y'all about
my rootin'-tootin' "Tituss Prize"!

From now on, I've got $500

to give to one singer whose performance
brings a tear to my eye.

So if you want to see
the color of my money,

y'all need to show me what you got.

Say, "Yee-haw!"

[all] Yee-haw!

-Alexia.
-Hello.

You're a nanny.

Is it a Mary Poppins type of nanny or...

Yeah, I sing to all my kids,
sing 'em straight to sleep.

That's so awesome.

Alyssa, if you could only sing one
country song for the rest of your life,

what would it be?

Garth Brooks, "Friends in Low Places."

[audience cheering]

And do you have friends in low places?

Observe.

[audience cheering]

Henry, I hear you're a student.

-Yes.
-Do you sing in college?

Yes, I do.

I'm part of an a cappella group
called The Counterparts.

John Legend's one of our alumni.

-[Tituss] Oh!
-[audience cheering]

Make John proud.

Will do.

So, will Brett be
the most accurate singer again,

or is there going to be
a new sheriff in town?

The next hit on our "Country" playlist
is "Amazed" by Lonestar,

and it's worth another $10,000.

[audience cheering]

If you want to bank the money,
then stick to the melody.

Prepare to be amazed and sing on!

[audience cheering]

[audience cheering]

[audience cheering]

That was beautiful.

And I felt the emotion,

but I'm holding on
to my "Tituss Prize" for now,

just in case someone takes it
to another level later on in the show.

Your performance of "Amazed"

just added $7,450.

[cheering]

Which means the total jackpot is now worth
$12,550!

And the singer with the highest score,
going straight into the next round

with an amazing 84%...

is Henry!

[audience cheering]

You're guaranteed to sing again,
but no one else is safe.

Oh, it's that time again.

Our singers gotta decide
who they want to leave the stage.

[melodically] Decide!

And here's their scores just for you.

Will they choose someone
they think is banking the least cash

or a possible rival?

Let's start with our most accurate singer
who's safe from elimination.

Henry, who do you want to leave the stage?

There were some notes
that could have been stronger,

so I voted for Alexia.

[audience] Ooh!

[Tituss] Okay.

Alexia, darling, who did you chose?

I voted for someone that I feel like

-is competition for me.
-[Tituss] Uh-oh.

-Brett.
-[Tituss] I could feel it coming.

Get rid of the rival. Cunning.

Brett, who did you choose?

I chose Alexia.

-Okay.
-[audience] Ooh!

Emily, who did you vote for?

I chose Alexia 'cause
there was a few riffs that were off.

-Alexia.
-[audience] Aww!

I'm sorry.

Alyssa?

It was Alexia.

[audience] Aww!

Oh, boy. Alexia, I'm afraid it's game over
for you, my dear.

I thoroughly enjoyed your performance.

Would you stay and sing on with us?

-I will.
-Yeah!

[audience cheering]

Give it up for Alexia!

[audience cheering]

Whoo!

The singer that banked
the least amount of money

is still in the game.

[audience] Ooh!

Who could it be?

Well, we've got four singers left,

and I love you guys so much,
I'm gonna double the money.

[audience cheering]

From now on,
every song is worth $20,000.

Butter my butt and call me a biscuit,
that's a lot of dough.

[all laughing]

Brett, if you won our jackpot,
what would you spend it on?

-I'd pay off my mom's car.
-[audience] Aww!

-Oh!
-I'm a mama's boy, so yeah.

-We got a mama's boy here.
-[audience applauds]

Alyssa, how would that jackpot
change your life?

I study wine, so I would use that money

to go see all the places
that I've been learning about.

Starting with the Barossa Valley
in Australia.

Somewhere I cannot go on my own dime.
[laughs]

All right, darlin'.

Well, let's mosey on back to the music.

And don't forget,
my "Tituss Prize" is still up for grabs.

So our first "Double Money" song is

"Take Me Home, Country Roads"

by John Denver,
and it's worth $20,000.

[audience cheering]

Sing on!

I shed a tear, y'all,
and you know what that means.

Someone's got my...

[all] "Tituss Prize."

And the person who got my "Tituss Prize"

is Henry!

[audience cheering]

Henry,

you've just won $500.
How does that feel?

-It feels awesome.
-Awesome.

Fabulous job.

Congratulations to all of you

'cause together you just banked $16,950.

[audience cheering]

And that means the total jackpot
is now worth $29,500.

That's big money!

But who's going through
to the next round?

Well,

with a stunning score of...

94%...

-[audience] Whoo!
-What?

...our most accurate singer

was Alyssa.

-[exclaims]
-[audience cheering]

And that's one of the highest scores

we've ever seen on this show.

Yes.

How are you feeling?

Wild.

But it's the end of the dirt road
for another singer

who's about to leave the stage.

Singers, it's another tough decision,
but you know what you got to do.

Decide.

Remember, the singers have no idea
how anyone scored.

Alyssa,
who do you want to leave the stage?

I voted for somebody who I think
didn't quite hit all the notes,

and this time, that was Brett.

[audience] Ooh!

Brett, who did you choose?

I chose Emily.

There were notes that didn't go through,
so I was like, "That's it."

Okay. Emily, who did you choose?

I chose Brett.

[audience] Aww!

And finally,

Henry, who did you choose?

I also chose Brett.

[audience] Aww!

Well, Brett, you received
the most votes, my friend,

and I'm afraid it's time for you
to leave the stage.

I think your voice is beautiful,

and I would love for you to stay
and sing on with us.

-Yes, give it up for Brett.
-[audience cheering]

Money keeps on comin'

because it's "Golden Note" time.

[audience cheering]

Our next song is "How Do I Live"
by LeAnn Rimes.

And it contains three very special notes,

one for each singer,

and they instantly win $1,000

if they hold their "Golden Note."

Easy to say, but harder to sing.

Oh, and one other thing, folks,

the least accurate singer

will automatically be eliminated.

-Yes, that is right. I know.
-[audience] Ooh!

Emily, who's gonna be
cheering you on at home?

Well, my mom's actually here, so...

Oh.

Hi, Mom.

It's so nice to meet you.

You've done well with Emily.

Henry,

how are you feeling
about performing this next song?

I'm excited.
It will be a challenge,

but I'll do my best
and have fun with it.

That's all we can do.

[audience cheering]

Alyssa, are you confident about
nailing those "Golden Notes"?

-Yes.
-[Tituss laughs]

Miss 94% over here.

-[audience cheering]
-[Tituss laughs]

Okay, for $20,000,
this is "How Do I Live."

And remember to hold for the gold!
Sing on!

[audience cheering]

Sing.

[audience cheering]

What a performance!

And congratulations
to our "Golden Note" winner,

taking home $1,000...

Emily!

[audience cheering]

And together,
everyone just banked $14,800,

which means
the total jackpot is now $44,300.

But this is where things get serious.

Only two singers can go head-to-head
in our final vocal battle.

So we need to lose

the singer with the lowest score.

The least accurate singer
of "How Do I Live"

was...

Henry.

[audience] Aww!

-[audience cheering]
-You've been awesome.

[Titus] Henry,

your "Tituss Prize."

-Would you stay and sing on with us?
