Caught on Camera...

A wayward entity
latches on to a little girl
in Canada.

My hand!

That doll should not
have been able to harm her...

...unless something may be
attached to it.

Investigators
in California...

Do you have
a message for us?

...receive
a sinister warning.

"Hang 'em."

It just kind of
seemed to me
that that was a sign.

Just get out.

Extraterrestrial
visitors...

There are three
unidentified flying objects.

...interrupt
a rugby practice in Beirut.

It's like something I never
thought I would encounter.

Did an elemental
spirit reveal itself

to a man in the Netherlands?

Oh, my goodness!

I... I... I cannot believe it.

And even more
paranormal footage
you have to see...

...to believe.

Corriganville Park
in Simi Valley, California...

...was once home to a vibrant
movie set,

where action-packed westerns
came to life.

Later, it became
a tourist attraction,

flocked to by movie fans.

The park was eventually
abandoned and destroyed,

after a series of fires
in the 1970s.

Since then,
the area is said to be

a hotspot
for paranormal activity,

where according to locals,
numerous mysterious murders

and suicides have occurred.

Recently, a nearby resident
solicited the help
of paranormal investigators...

...hoping to get in contact
with the many spirits
that roam her property.

But it turns out...

...the invitation
may have come...

...from the
spirits themselves.

January, 2022...

...in Simi Valley, California.

Um, if you just come down
this way...

Jade Capasso
and her camera operator Jim

are investigating a property
at the request
of the homeowner, Alicia.

She's been experiencing
unexplained events,

such as her husband's eyes
inexplicably turning black.

And apparitions of
two young children...

...on her porch.

She suspects a tree
on her property...

...is the focal point
of all the activity.

My name is Jade Capasso,
and this is my video.

There were weird
feelings right off the bat.

Within the first
five minutes of being there,

I went over to the back tree.

They called it
the Hanging Tree.

It's dubbed
the Hanging Tree

because it is rumored
that women and children
were hanged there

by outlaws
during the Gold Rush.

This is
the Hanging Tree.

So you can see this marking,
it's like the X
on the tree here.

And nobody knows
what this is from.

It's not painted on.

It's not burnt on.

Okay, let me touch it.

Wow.

I don't know why,
but I feel like the energy
kind of shifted.

I don't know if you're
feeling that, but...

Do you hear that?

It sounded like something
fell over.

I touched that tree,
and in that moment,

I heard a very loud
crashing noise

coming from the other
side of the property.

Did you hear that?

When
Jade investigates,

she discovers that another
tree has somehow lost

a large piece of bark.

- I'm just curious, was that always like that?
- -No.

I just filmed
that tree.

That bark wasn't like that.

- No.
- Okay, come on.

It just kind of seemed
to me that
that was a sign.

Just get out.

I feel like that's
a warning sign.

At that point,
Jade and Jim decide

to call it a night
and regroup.

I think we need to go back,
research, have a game plan,
come back...

Our game plan was to come
back with the medium Michael,

and try and get some answers
for the property owner.

The team returned
with Michael a week later,

hoping to establish contact
with the spirits
on the property.

Heck! Oh, wow.

...and the medium
is immediately drawn
to the Hanging Tree.

There's something
very negative in that
particular tree that,

- um...
- Yeah.

...more than
one soul in that one tree.

Meaning they... hanging
or that kind of thing.

- Yeah.
- -Do you understand what I mean?

- Exactly what you think...
are you kidding me?
-Okay, um...

- You... yes.
- No, yeah.

'Cause I'm seeing, like,
what I call people fruit.

He is able to, uh,
clairvoyantly see...

...people hanging from
this tree...

...hanging like fruit,
so, meaning there
was multiple people

hanging from this tree.

Those spirits would just burst
into the property,

so now you've got them
kind of scattered all over.

Among
the spirits...

...is one of a young girl

who Michael hones in on.

I do think she's an E-name,
like an Emily or an Emilia,

but I do think it's one
of those old-fashioned names.

With the tree
as a focal point,

the group decides
to conduct a sensory
deprivation session...

...to get more information
on the little girl.

We're gonna do
an Estes Method

um, right underneath
this tree here.

This is the tree where
the bark fell earlier.

So when we
do sensory deprivation,

we're hooked up
to the spirit box...

...which scans through
white noise.

And spirits can actually
manipulate that device

and speak to us.

Keep in mind,

Jade can't hear the questions
being asked.

Do you know
what our names are?

Mike.

That's me.

I see you, oh,
and I heard
a little girl giggle.

Do you have
a message for us?

"Hang 'em."

Hang 'em...

There seems to be
a lot of times

where they get answers,
or they're saying words
out loud

that matches the questions
that are being asked of them.

Are we talking
to the little girl?

Hello?

Child.

If that's the child
that we're speaking to
right now,

can you give us
a possible name?

Emma.

- Emma!
- That's my E.

- Okay.
- Emma. Oh, my gosh.

When Jim came out
with the name Emma,

that was like a huge, kind of,
victory within
the investigation.

The medium was picking up
on this little girl,

the homeowner's picking up
on this little girl,

and now Jim's picking up
on this little girl.

Satisfied with
what they've gotten,

the team begins to wrap up
the investigation.

But just as Jade films
a recap in front
of the house...

...watch closely.

I don't know if there was
some kind of altercation
between them.

I don't even know if maybe
he's the one
that killed her.

And that's what
I'm picking up.

'Cause he feels responsible
for her death.

Did you see that?

Watch again,

as Jim's camera catches
a shadowy figure

passing by in the background.

I didn't notice
that at all.

Later on I came to find out
that if I put it
on my television,

it's like right there,
clear as day.

The reason why cameras
are so important
on investigations

is because of moments
like this.

Sometimes you're talking
about the haunt
or the location,

and then it's almost like
when you start...

...connecting with the energy
and putting the puzzle pieces
in your head...

Emma.

- Emma!
- That's my E, okay.

...that mental
activity between
everyone involved

will amplify the energy
within a space,

and you'll start to notice
the activity shift

from something just being
mental and vocal

to something more physical.

Something physical
that Jade believes

is responsible
for bringing her here

in the first place.

I felt like we were
100 percent led there,

and what we captured
on camera that night

was meant to be captured.

We connected with
a couple of spirits there.

But I know that there
are so many other spirits
in that area

that are just waiting to tell
their story.

And Jade is eager
to do whatever
it takes to help.

I feel so drawn there

to the point that I'm even
looking at buying a home
over there.

I don't know what it is
about that... that area.

But there is something dark
in Corriganville Park...

...I also believe that there
is light.

Coming up...

Is a spirit toying...

...with
a little girl in Canada?

My hand!

It's believed

that a spirit can
sometimes possess
child-like qualities...

...especially when interacting
with younger, living beings.

And though such entities
may come across as harmless...

...be warned.

Their seemingly
playful qualities

may be a way to gain trust...

...before they reveal
their true selves.

Take it from a family
in Canada,

who discovered what they
believed to be a spirit

playing a dangerous game
with their young daughter.

My hand!

What happened?

Spring, 2020...

...in Alberta, Canada.

Shortly after settling into
a new home,

Mary Proctor
and her husband Nick

are watching TV,

when their daughter Ellie
comes out of her room

crying about her hand.

Unsure of
what happened,

Mary takes a look
at the footage from
her baby monitor,

and sees this.

My hand!

What happened?

As Ellie
plays with her doll,

she suddenly reacts.

My hand!

...as if something
has harmed her hand.

It looked like it either
slapped or bit

that very young child.

Obviously, it did something,
'cause the child
was very upset.

Even
more disturbing...

...is what appears
behind the doll.

What happened?

Watch closely...

...as a ghostly looking face
with two hollowed out eyes

seems to peer over
the doll's shoulder.

You see what looks like
a face,

kind of manifesting,
or starting to form.

In conjunction with
the child's reaction

of fear and pain that
that doll did something
at that moment.

We don't know
what that something is,

but that doll should not
have been able to harm her

unless something maybe
attached to it.

After
this incident,

Mary and her husband begin
keeping a close eye
in their daughter's bedroom...

...and reviewing the footage
from the monitor.

Sure enough,
just a few months later...

...a bucket that was inside
a toy box inexplicably...

...rolls across
the bedroom floor.

And that's not all.

A month after that,

Let's go!
Get ready to...

A toy scooter
lights up on its own.

Let's
go play!

If a door opens
or something moves,

sometimes I can almost
explain that away.

But when an electronic toy
goes off,

I feel, okay, something
had to happen within
that circuit

to get it to turn on
to speak or do whatever.

And to me, that's the most
interesting of all the things

that are happening
in this room.

Then, a toy
flashlight on the shelf...

There's a reason why
paranormal investigators

take electronic devices
with them
during their research.

It's thought that spirits
can somehow interact

with these devices through,
uh, the means
of electromagnetic fields.

And I would imagine
that a toy that lights up

or makes a noise
isn't any different.

And
it's not just toys.

They also capture orbs
floating around the room.

You start to see these
light anomalies,

these orbs that seem
to be flying out of
an object as it falls down,

or they fly into it
and it moves.

And in this clip
we see orbs moving around,

and we see
an object lighting up.

But it seems to be
very playful,

and is interested in these
toys and into the girl.

The sum of all
these occurrences

convinces Mary that something
is haunting Ellie's bedroom.

So she moves her
to a different room
in the house.

But whatever's haunting
Ellie's original room...

...follows her.

If they swapped
their daughter's bedroom

for a different room
and the activity's
still happening,

then the activity
is not isolated
to that one location.

It's isolated
to something else.

And so...

...it seems to me like
it's following
either their daughter

or her toys.

I think it is possible that
there could be a young energy

or child spirit around.

They do tend to gravitate
towards other children,

mostly because children
seem familiar to them.

They definitely gravitate
towards toys,

because toys are things
that they loved
in their life.

But, when dealing
with the paranormal...

...things aren't always
what they seem.

I strongly caution against
assuming you're dealing
with a child spirit.

While I think
those might exist,

I also theorize that some
more mischievous

or malevolent entities
might pose

as the most innocent
amongst us...

...in order to get us to drop
our guard,

or even manipulate our desire
to protect children.

A sobering thought.

Luckily, Ellie has not
been harmed

since she complained
about her hand.

My hand!

What happened?

But the family
is on the lookout

for more unwelcome activity.

Coming up,

a glowing orb...

...hovers over a garden
in the Netherlands.

Certain types
of paranormal phenomena...

...like elemental spirits,
sprites, and fairies,

are sometimes dismissed...

...as folktales.

The naysayers claim
that these curiosities

have been passed down
for generations in stories

with no basis in reality.

But there are many
out there...

...who beg to differ.

Who claim that these phenomena
are not only real...

...but that they've been
coexisting with us...

...for millennia.

A man in the Netherlands
claims to have

regular encounters
with such beings,

and believes he finally
caught one on camera.

August 17th, 2017.

In North Brabant,
the Netherlands.

It's around 7 p.m.,
and Robbert van den Broeke

notices something
in the garden...

...behind his parents' house.

Something that he's been
eager to document on camera
for decades.

A bright, hovering
orb-like object...

...that Robbert believes
is otherworldly.

My name
is Robbert van den Broeke,

and this is my video.

I recognized this from,
"Oh, my goodness,

I think that this is really
a... an energy ball."

It has the shape from
a football.

It's very elegant.
It's very gentle.

This is giving off
its own energy,
its own light.

And it's hovering around,
and it seems to me

it's very playful and organic.

Whatever this thing is,
it doesn't seem to be floating
on the breeze.

It seems to have a deliberate
movement to it,

as if it's controlling
its own flight path.

It is not a plane,
it's, uh, not a balloon.

Uh, it's not a drone,
and it's appearing
out of the blue.

And it's disappearing
out of the blue.

And it's something
Robbert and his family

have seen for almost 30 years.

My parents, uh, have see
many times light balls.

My sisters also.

Flying in the garden
around the trees,

it's almost unbelievable,
but we experienced this now
for many, many years.

But while they
may be familiar with
the glowing phenomena...

...they still have no earthly
explanation for it.

When I would see
the light ball

for the first time,
I was thinking,

"Oh my goodness.
I... I cannot believe it.

This is a UFO,
or what's going on?"

It's so special to see it.

It is
something electromagnetic,

I'm sure, and I have
the feeling that the orb
has consciousness.

Is it something
of the supernatural element?

Or is it something more of...
of the extraterrestrial alien
type element?

The thing that
my brain immediately leapt to

was descriptions of people
seeing fairies
in traditional folklore.

A small, bright, glowing,
pixie-like creature

flitting over
the fields, suddenly
disappearing, reappearing.

A theory
that certainly
makes sense to Robbert.

I think that
in the past,

when people still lived
in the forest,

when they was living
very close to nature,

that many people
was experiencing
these light balls.

A lot of times I think
we humans get so caught up
in ourselves,

we're tempted to think
we're the only ones

that might have a spirit.

But woods, forests,
nature itself is so much
older than us.

And the notion of elementals
is that these
are nature spirits,

and people from Indigenous
Americans to natives

in every culture
report something similar
to elementals.

We all have the capabilities
of seeing things
and peeling away

at the layers
of our mundane life

to realize that we actually
live within

this multi-dimensional,
magical reality.

We just have to be able
to peel away at the layers

to start to communicate
with those types of beings,

and so there are people
out there that have
the ability to do that.

Perhaps then,
Robbert is graced with
a special ability.

And he does not take it
for granted...

...to be a witness
to something extraordinary.

I have a very
positive feeling

by the whole situation.

It has something to do
with nature spirits,

with other dimensions,
with extraterrestrials.

It sounds like
a fairy tale, but...

...it makes life much
more interesting.

Coming up...

...a triangle of UFOs...

There are three
unidentified flying objects.

...stun
a rugby team in Lebanon.

Very strange
in dimension.

For those
who live in places
of frequent conflict,

being aware of,
and familiar with
various objects in the sky...

...is part of the day-to-day.

So when something appears
that is not only unfamiliar...

...but extraordinary...

...people take notice.

That's what happened
to one man

and his rugby teammates
in Beirut.

And he is almost certain
that what they witnessed...

It's very strange
in dimension.

...is not
from this world.

And there are three
unidentified flying objects...

July 22nd, 2015...

...at the American University
of Beirut...

...in Beirut, Lebanon.

Nadeem Moughnieh is hanging
outside with his rugby team
after practice...

...when they see
something unusual...

...in the sky.

So Nadeem's coach pulls out
his phone

and begins to record.

We're here
at AUB, Beirut, Lebanon.

And there are three
unidentified flying objects...

...elevating ahead.

They're very strange in, uh...

...dimension.

They look to be
like floating ships.

I'm Nadeem, and I witnessed
UFOs in Beirut, Lebanon.

Initially, you think
it's kind of funny.

Then you realize...

"No, it's pretty weird."

Like, there's a reason
we picked up a camera
to film it.

Just finished
the AUB Rugby League
football training

on Wednesday, the 22nd
of July.

We were
like 30, 40 people.

It wasn't just us,
it was a full team.

Everyone was looking at it.

Of all the UFO videos
I've seen,

this one is quite clear.

It seems that whatever
is floating up there
in the sky...

...has defined edges.

It's a very sharp picture.

We don't normally
get a lot of UFO videos from
Middle Eastern countries,

so already this is
a unique UFO report.

These objects appear
to be in a solid V formation,

and they don't move at all,
which is really unusual

if this was some sort of
a balloon or a blimp.

Now, if they were blimps,
it's also quite strange

because blimps
are quite expensive,

and they're really only
used for commercial purposes,

sometimes for surveillance,
but I've never heard of them
traveling in groups of three.

These objects
look metallic,
but they're not shiny.

We don't see any kind
of exhaust,

we don't hear any engines.

Very strange
in, uh...

They look to be
like floating ships.

If these things were balloons
or anything like that,

they would be flapping
around in the wind,

uh, uncontrollably.

But these things seem to be
controlled by some force.

Not
just controlled,

but able to remain
in synchronized positions.

They're always
in a triangle formation.

Always in
a triangle formation.

It was three objects.

They get... get a little
farther in distance,

then get a little closer,
and it always stayed
in triangle formation.

Intentional formation

suggests purpose,

suggests intelligence.

Random objects floating
through the sky
like lost weather balloons

are not going to maintain
a rigid arrangement

in comparison to each other.

We can certainly
leave out airplanes,
helicopters, and drones.

They wouldn't be able to hold
this static formation

for such a long
period of time.

These don't make
that annoyingly loud hum

that a drone would.

And there's three of them.

Even a helicopter that's high
in the sky you
could hear coming.

Any little drone
you could hear as well.

And Nadeem
is certainly familiar enough
with all of these objects.

Drones in particular...

...to know the difference.

We live
in Lebanon where...

...it's kind of constantly
at war.

It's a hotbed for conflict.

So you'd think it could be
like a surveillance drone
or something, but...

...we're used
to how they look.

They're never, like,
three drones
in a triangle formation.

And you would hear it.

Like the...
like the buzzing sound.

Which is why Nadeem
believes them to be alien
in nature.

I think it is, because it's...
it's something like I've ever seen before.

I always believe in
extraterrestrials and UFOs.

Like, there's too much
information that's out there

that it's hard to like
go against.

But if they
are extraterrestrial...

...why here?

Why now?

Beirut has had some
interesting history
when it comes to UFOs.

We always hear about war
and different conflicts

that are going around
in those areas.

UFOs seem to appear,
almost as if they're watching
what is going on down below.

These extraterrestrials
will come and try to intervene

with things that
can be detrimental

to our civilization
and to our planet.

You'll start to see a lot
of UFO activity...

...or alien interference
in places of unrest and war.

We're here
at AUB, Beirut, Lebanon.

Wherever
these objects are from,

and whatever their reason
for being there,

Nadeem cherishes the memory
of his brush with
cosmic interlopers.

It was quite surreal
spotting UFOs in the sky.

It's like something I...
never thought
I would encounter.

It was a really
cool experience.

It's eerie in a way,

but it's cool in another way.

And there
are three unidentified
flying objects...

Coming up...

...three siblings
cross paths...

...with a headless
entity in India.

In 1865,
a severe drought
in Odisha, India

destroyed crops...

...and resulted in
one of the world's
worst famines.

The famine was then followed
by devastating floods,

and the spread of diseases
like malaria,
smallpox, and cholera.

It's estimated that more than
one million people,

a third of the population,
was wiped out

in just a few years' time.

Which might explain why Odisha

is considered to be one
of the most haunted locations

in India.

And recently...

Three siblings
may have crossed paths

with one of those wandering
spirits from long ago.

2021...

...Odisha, India.

Rokia Khatun
and her two brothers

are driving their tractor
home after working
in the field all day,

when they spot what looks like
a person up ahead

on the left-hand side
of the road.

But as they
get closer,

they realize...

...it's not a person at all.

At least, not one
that's living.

Because it has no head...

...or limbs.

My name
is Rokia.

This is my video.

Things go
from terrifying
to sheer panic...

...when the tractor
inexplicably shuts off.

After the video
cuts off,

the three siblings,
who are beside themselves
with fear,

make a run for it
all the way back home.

So what did the three
siblings actually encounter

in that field?

I had so much anxiety
watching that clip.

I'm like, "Oh no!"

The light went out.

The tractor shut off,
and then it seems like

this figure's getting closer.

I can hear the panic
in their voice.

I don't know what
they're saying,

but it sounded
like it was panic.

The closest correlation
in traditional lore

is the woman in white...

...who often is seen
by a roadside
or alongside a path.

Who's there largely
to lure people,
especially men,

to their deaths.

But as we get a better
look at it...

...I don't actually see
a woman at all.

I just see a white piece
of fabric, a sheet.

It looks...

...upright, like it would be
on a human body.

But there is no human body
in evidence.

If it is a ghost...

...why is it missing its body?

There are countless stories
of ghosts
that don't have a head,

or are missing limbs,
or maybe only
are a floating torso.

This extends
to the famous story

of the Headless Horseman
in Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Whenever we hear
these types of stories,

I always wonder,
is this perhaps a spirit

who lost that body part
in some sort of tragedy?

Maybe they're
searching for it.

Or maybe they just
haven't been able to

manifest that part
of their body

in order for us to see.

Which could explain
why the tractor turned off
on its own.

It's really common
for electronics

or anything mechanical
to start malfunctioning

when in the presence
of spirits.

When a spirit
is manifesting,

it needs to draw energy
from somewhere,

and those are usually
the first places
that it takes it from.

I've been on cases where
our batteries will die,

our lighting equipment
will go out,

and shortly after that,
something will manifest.

So it wouldn't be surprised
if there is a correlation
between the two.

As scary
as the sight was for Rokia
and her brothers,

it shouldn't come
as much of a surprise.

Because a century
and a half ago,

famine and disease
caused over a million
deaths in the area.

And some believe
the bodies of the deceased

may have been mishandled.

Local legends speak
of a crematorium
that was in the area

that people have seen
burned bodies,

incomplete apparitions
wandering the landscape.

Now, could this be
an example of that?

Something with no head,
something with no limbs.

Or maybe it's something
else entirely.

Whatever the case,
Rokia is convinced

that what she saw that night
is not of this world.

Coming up...

...a social media trend
turns terrifying.

Many believe

that spirits can attach
themselves to the living.

The theory goes that
the entity feeds off
the energy of the host,

in a mostly harmless way.

If so, it may be
worth taking a closer look

at any recent footage
of yourself.

Because if you're experience
is anything like a young
Arkansas woman's

you may just catch a glimpse
of a ghostly tag-along.

July 2020...

...in Springdale, Arkansas.

A young woman named
Alicia Nguyen is home alone,

using her bathroom mirror
to make a lip-synching
video for social media.

When she reviews her video
later that night,

something in the footage
catches her eye...

...so she brightens it...

...and sees this.

A ghostly head and shoulders,
lurking in the background...

...and staring right at her.

Let's face it.

I think we've all been guilty
of shooting a selfie video

in the bathroom mirror.

But maybe not all of us
have captured
a spectral form

creeping on us from behind.

It looks like
a small boy, a child,

that you see
for a split second.

You see the top half
of the shoulders and torso,

and a clear, clear face.

If it were
a towel on a rack
or a sculpture,

it would be there all along
the way in the video.

And it's not.

It shows up for a second...

...and the next time we get
that same view,

it's gone.

It almost looks like
whatever it is
is watching her,

sort of observing her
over her shoulder.

At the very
end of the video...

...she does turn to look
over her shoulder...

...to exactly where it was.

It makes me wonder
if perhaps she had a sense

that she was being watched.

But Alicia claims
to have been totally unaware
of the fleeting observer...

...until she reviewed
the footage later.

Though she does think
she might know who it is.

An attachment named Leo

that a medium told her about
two years ago.

I think there is some
credence that there is
that connection where

people are picking up
on an energy,

and we see this glimpse
of what could be
that attachment.

I believe everyone
has spiritual attachments.

Whether it's a bad spiritual
attachment or something
that's more benevolent,

or a guardian type
of attachment

has to do with the resonance
of energy from
the individual person.

And maybe
accidentally capturing

your spiritual attachment
on video...

...will be the next
viral trend.

We're gonna see a lot
more of these videos
in the future.

Pretty much everybody
on the planet

has got
a pretty sophisticated,

high definition camera
in their pocket.

The more things we see
on film,

the better chance of us
seeing some unexpected
paranormal phenomena.

It's crazy to me how many
videos similar to this

are coming out of TikTok.

It's almost like the ghosts
out there

are ready and willing
to be paranormal influencers.

Cheers.

What should you do
in the event

you witness
something paranormal?

Here are some tips
to get it all on camera.

My hand!

Check your footage
for anything unusual.

Trust that what you're seeing
really is otherworldly.

There
are three
unidentified flying objects.

Don't
stop recording...

...even
if you're scared.

And if you do
catch something,

or connect with us
on social media.
