What do you do about the flames?

I use an extinguisher.

Wonderful Absolutely wonderful

Yes, and I have a small

Just as Jesus bade the possessed

Oh!

And the last of the

You should come to that

Shall I bring in my guitar?

Yes, yes. The Psalmist says, Make
a joyful noise unto the Lord..

Remember, your body
ls a temple, Jess.

Don't give in to temptation.

He's a good-looking
boy, isn't he?

We'll be Like Jane Eyre
and St John Rivers.

That's Mum's favourite book.

And the Bible, eh, Jess?

Never mind the flesh, Jess.

Think of the spirit

Oh...

Trust me.

Before we sing our last hymn,

I'd Like to share with you a Little of what
Jesus has been doing through me this week.

You know It ls my
special ministry

to recognise the demon and
to cast out that fiend.

Even now, as we sit here today,

drinking in the
word of the Lord,

there ls an epidemic of demons,
spreading through the Northwest

Lancashire and
Cheshire are the worst

Only yesterday, I cleansed a
whole family in Cheadle Hulme.

Ridden they were. Yes, ridden.
And do you know why?

Unnatural passions!

Lord forgive them!

Now I'd Like to ask Jess to come and
lead us in a chorus and a word of prayer

while I walk amongst you,
laying hands on any who need

the touch of the Lord.

For some are sick,
some are sad...

some have lost the joy they had.

There's no kindness
here, I hate you all!

And I hate you most of all!

Filth! Devil's filth
from her mouth!

That's what comes of raising an orphan.
Well, a bastard really!

I'm not the bastard!

I think we'd better use the gag.
I don't want you to hear this.

It'll get worse...

as the demon struggles
for supremacy.

Don't

Aah!

She's so pretty.

Sometimes the Devil scars
you as he comes free.

You might be scarred, Jess. You
might not be pretty any more.

I'll tell you... what's
gonna happen, Jess.

We're gonna pray over you

for seven hours.

Not May, Mrs. Green and
your mother all the time.

I've arranged for a
team to work shifts.

It's exhausting enough, our
struggle against the demon

but you see how
much we love you!

For three days and
three nights...

you must Live in this room
and think about Jesus.

Not soft bodies
and easy pleasure!

But the virtues of your saviour.

This may sound harsh, Jess,

but It's softer than Hell

I've never known the demon last
against us for more than three days.

We're doing this for you, Jess.

Let's start our intercession.

Now Jess, I want you to think
about the crucified Christ

and His sacrifice for you!

When you think of
Jesus's suffering,

how can you consider yours?

Amen, amen. O Lord,
come down among us!

End this girl's suffering!

- Christ...
- O Lord, hear us.

- O Jesus, help us, help us, Jesus.
- Christ Jesus...

Stand behind the trees.

Mum can see up here
with her binoculars.

Are you all right, Jess?

No.

I want you to find Melanie

and give her this letter.

I've got to see her.

I don't know about that, Jess.

You know, while they had me
locked up, towards the end,

I thought I saw a demon,

an orange one.

You don't mean that You were ill

I do mean that

It wasn't bad.

It wasn't a demon the way
Pastor talks about them.

This one looked Like me.

But It glowed all fiery,

with orange hair.

It told me that I
had to make a choice.

You do, Jess.

You have to follow the Lord.

You hate It here.

They hate you here.

Why don't you go away?

Where to?

It's the same wherever you go.

It's not

Can't be.

You've got to fight

Go home now, Jess,
they'll be wondering.

Promise about that letter.

I promise.

You've got to fight

Listen, girl, don't do that!

Say goodbye to me very loudly,
then let me sneak upstairs.

You come up as soon as you can.

Miss Jewsbury's outside. She'll
wait for me till morning.

Do It

This ls me you're turning away.

Did they hurt you?

Yeah.

Did they hurt you?

No.

I didn't fight

You know, some of the
things we talked about,

Like about the future,
what we might do,

they're things I won't forget

They're things I’ll do.

Go to university, go away maybe.

I never even though about
leaving home before I met you.

- I've made It a mess for you.
- No, you haven't!

No, you've made It
different, better.

You don't wish It
hadn't happened, do you?

No.

Make love to me.

I can't

I can't

Well, then I'll
make love to you.

Let the sin be mine.

A soul redeemed for Jesus

Don't you feel better, Jess?

She does, you can tell

She looks Like her old self.
Eh, Jess?

Heaven rejoices
In a sinner saved.

You’ll testify on Sunday, Jess?

I will

Let's lay hands on Jess and ask the
Lord's blessing. Kneel down, Jess.

Jesus, thank you for
taking this sinner

and passing fire
through her heart

Thank you.

- Will you write to me?
- I can’t

- Scrape clean...
- We've got to forget

- the heat she feels for another...
- I won't forget

- I'll miss you.
- Smash her pride...

You don’t have to miss me.
You could love me.

- The wounds of love, Christ Jesus...
- It's not simple anymore.

- I love you!
- Amen.

Praise the Lord.
