After the painful battle in the
alternate world called Cephiro,
I, Umi Ryuuzaki, was once again
summoned to Cephiro from Tokyo Tower,
a place I'm sure I'll never forget,
with Hikaru Shidou and Fuu Hououji.
There, three different countries
called Autozam, Chizeta, and Fahren,
have begun invading, hoping to
take over Cephiro and it's Pillar.
But apparently, another unknown
enemy has it's own evil intentions.
Debonair, and Nova - a girl
who looks a lot like Hikaru.
Who in the world are these guys?
We managed to find a brief moment
of happiness in the castle of Cephiro,
until Nova appeared and
started to cause all kinds of trouble.
She told Hikaru that
she's gonna kill Lantis,
and then she disappeared again.
Nova's Battle and
the Monster's Identity
[Thunder rumbles]
[Children crying]
I'm so scared!
Who was that
lady? She was scary!
[Sobs] [Energy crackles]
[Startled gasp]
Look guys! What's that?
[Magic ripples]
[Battle shouts]
[Menacing growl]
[Battle shouts]
[Menacing growl]
[Magic ripples]
Umi! Fuu! Look out, guys!
Hikaru! Do you think you
know where Nova went?
[Startled gasp]
That Lantis. I know
you're in love with Lantis.
He'll die the longest and most
painful death I know how to give him.
[Magic ripples]
Perhaps you should go after her!
Don't worry! We'll take care of
the kids, you go and find Nova!
[Shrill screeching]
Water... Dragon!
[Shrill screeching]

It feels exactly the

Monsters have once again
appeared in the residential quarters.
[Startled gasps]

everything that Hikaru loves.
I'm going to destroy
everything she cares about.

your face look so much like Hikaru's?

This is ridiculous! There's
no end to these monsters!
[Frightened screams]

Beast, I Summon Thee!
[Magic ripples]
It's Ascot!
[Startled gasp]

Master Mage Clef told us that the
monsters were back in the castle.
[Energy crackles]
[Booming explosion]
[Battle shout]

- Miss Caldina!
[Battle shout] [Magic booms]

[Heartbeat pulses]
[Swords clang] [Giggles]
Take this, Hikaru!

The heartbeat of the crown!
[Battle shout]

I just don't get how these monsters
could have gotten back into the castle.
They're coming out of
that black thing over there!
[Monsters growl]
[Frightened whimpers]
[Energy crackles]
What is going on here!?
[Frightened screams]
Ah! These monsters!
They've gotten stronger!
[Battle shout]
Ascot's right! They're definitely
tougher than before! Much tougher!
Emerald Typhoon!
[Frightened shouts]
[Energy crackles]
It's their fear! Their fear
creates new monsters!
That's right! Cephiro's
a land of the will!
These monsters are being
created in the hearts of the kids!
- [Cries loudly]
- You mustn't cry!
Every one of these monsters was created
by the fear in all of our hearts.
All of our hearts?
Created by fear?
Now that I've had he chance to
observe it, I believe I understand.
This black sphere is able
to absorb feelings of terror,
and creates these horrible monsters
using the power of fear inside of us.
You mustn't cry no
matter what, kids!
You must not be afraid!
If your hearts are
even a little bit scared,
that's going to make
even scarier monsters!
[Uncertain whimpers]
[Swords clang] [Pained grunt]
[Heavy panting]

[Frustrated yell]

fears creating these monsters after all!

The monsters have weakened!
The heart that believes!

Well they sure did seem to
grow weaker all of a sudden,
when the kids
weren't afraid anymore.
Yes. I guess they really were
manifestations of the children's hearts.

A heart full of fear
creates these monsters.
And a heart which
is afraid of these
monsters, in turn creates
even more monsters.

And so in other
words, I guess we were
fighting against our own
hearts the whole time.
