[birds cawing]

All right, Chompy, time for milk.

Hang on, just wait.

Good boy, Chompy.

He's drinking his milk really well.

Steady, Chompy.

[laughs]

-[Ali] Hey, Izzy.
-Yeah?

Do you want to go
and help me give StormBoy his meds?

[Izzy] Um...

I'll pass.

Okay, well, can you keep feeding him?
And I'll go and medicate StormBoy.

-Yes.
-[chuckles] All right. See you later.

Bye, Mum.

[Ali] Hey, big boy.

I don't really want to give StormBoy
his medication

because StormBoy and I got off
to a bit of a rough start.

[thunder rumbling]

Izzy was trying to help me one day
and she was cleaning his pen out and...

[Izzy] He started walking in front of me
and I didn't notice, and the hose wet him.

And he really didn't like it.

[Izzy] He got really angry.

And he chased me to that tree
and so I had to jump on it.

[Ali] Izzy was just as spooked as he was.

Ever since that happened,
StormBoy hasn't exactly been my friend.

[Ali] And every time Izzy comes in,
he watches her where she's going.

I can tell StormBoy doesn't trust me.

To be able to give koalas
their milk or their medicine,

you have to have a lot of trust with them.

I wish there was something I could do
to regain his trust.

StormBoy's got an infection in his chest,

so we're treating him
with some medication every day.

When Izzy can get to give him
his medication as well,

that'll be a big step for both of them.

With so many rescues coming in at once,

I really need Izzy's help with
every single koala, including StormBoy.

-[owl hooting]
-[birds cawing]

[Izzy] Hi, StormBoy.

StormBoy, I think you just need
to spend time with me

so you can trust me.

I have an idea.
I'll clean out your enclosure.

Hopefully you'll start to trust me

once you see
that I'm careful with the hose.

See, StormBoy? You can trust me.

What are you looking at?

Koala!

Who are you?

That's not any of our koalas.

Oh, there's green ants all over you.

Mum!

A koala just walked right into the yard.

And there's green ants all over him.

Hey. [shushes]

[Izzy] It's all right.

[whispers] It's okay.

Hey.

You know you need help.

Don't run away.

He crawled up that tree.

-Where is he?
-Up there.

[koala whimpers]

[Ali] Oh, you've got green ants on you.
We need to get you down, darling.

-[Tim] Who's this?
-[Izzy] Don't know.

Aw, baby, come down.

We need to get him down.

-We need poles and towels.
-[Tim] I'll get them.

We'll get you down soon.
It'll be all right.

You came to the right place.

We're gonna try to put this blanket
over his head

and then it'll encourage him down.

[Tim] Here he comes.

-Get him, Mum.
-[Ali] He's gone around the other side.

[Izzy] Come back!

Where did he go?

Where is he? Come back! Come on!

Don't be scared.

-Come back!
-[Ali] Let's get him over to the...

That's it. Good girl. That's it.

Great.

Good catch, Iz!

[Izzy] You were attacked by green ants.

-You know you need help.
-[Ali] Right.

Let's get him into the clinic
and get those green ants off him.

Let's get him here.

We just need to get
all these critters off you.

Hang on, baby. They're killing you.
Come on, sweet pea.

[koala whimpers]

Hang on. Hang on. Hang on.

-[koala whimpers]
-Right. Everybody on green ant duty.

[koala whimpers]

Good boy. Good boy.

All right.

[Izzy] Those green ants are
really vicious.

[Ali] It's all right, mate.

[koala shrieks]

[whispers] Yeah, good girl,
get it off him. Beautiful.

You're so brave.

[Ali] Must have been so painful,
you poor little sausage.

You came to the right place.

[Ali] He walked right in.
He must have been looking for some help.

Gonna keep him until his eyes heal,

-'cause he can't see.
-Yeah.

Can't send him back out there
not being able to see.

We're gonna need some eye cream.

All right, baby.

Let me find what I need.

[Izzy] We've got to think
of a name for you.

Hmm...

Something to do with explorer?

What about Indiana, Dad?

Mm-hmm. Indiana.

-Yeah, middle name Jones.
-[Ali] Indiana Jones.

[Izzy giggles]

It's okay, Indi.

We're gonna make sure
your eyes are all healed.

[Ali] I know it's sore, baby.

I know, sweet.

I know, kid. I know.

He's all treated.

-Oh. Look at you.
-[Tim] There you go.

[Izzy chuckles]

What do I always say?
That eating is always part of healing.

Well, there you go.

You're on your way to recovery, Indiana.

And he trusts us
that we are trying to help him.

The best leaf wins them over every time.

[Izzy] Maybe that's the way
to win over StormBoy too.

I'm gonna get him some extra special leaf.

[Ali] That's a great idea, Iz!

[Izzy] Okay, Mum, I'm leaving.
I'll be back soon.

[upbeat music plays]

My plan is to get StormBoy
his favorite leaf,

from a place called the Forts Walk.

That's where he was rescued.

This is his favorite kind of leaf,

because it's really nice and juicy
and he grew up eating this leaf.

And maybe if I give him something
that he likes,

then he'll be happy.

That's how you gain someone's trust.

You show them that you care for them.

I really hope this makes StormBoy happy.

-I'm back, StormBoy.
-[door closes]

I went all over the Forts Walk
and I got you the best leaf I could find.

Do you remember this leaf?

[sniffs]

Here's some leaf.

You can trust me, StormBoy.

Good boy, StormBoy.

That's a good first step.

I know you love it.

Are you starting to trust me?

Maybe I can try giving you
your medication in the morning

after I've checked on Indi.

[birds chirping]

Good morning, Indi!

[sniffs]

You look so much better this morning.

Hey, Iz. How's he going?

[Izzy] Good.
He's ready for his medication.

He's still a little bit squinty
on that eye,

it's closing up a little bit.

But the meds are working.

Hopefully soon,
Indi should be ready for release.

You wandered into the right place, Indi.

[sniffs]

Can I do his medication, Mum?

[Ali] All right.

It's okay, Indi.

You're gonna have to be quick.

It's okay.

Come on.

Oh, well done, Iz. Beautiful!

-Shall we check on StormBoy?
-[Izzy] Yeah.

Can I give StormBoy his meds today?

-You sure?
-[Izzy] I'm ready.

[Ali] Okay.

-[Izzy] Okay.
-[Ali] Okay.

-Just keep it calm, quiet, confident.
-Let's go.

[upbeat music plays]

[thunder rumbling]

Hi, StormBoy.

[thunder rumbling]

It's me, Izzy.
I'm gonna give you your medicine.

You be gentle with him
and he'll be gentle with you.

StormBoy. [clicks tongue]

You smell it?

Yup. Okay.

It's here.

[Ali] Good girl.

That's it.

[Izzy] He's drinking it.

You trust me, StormBoy.

[laughs] See?
I told you I wasn't that bad.

[Ali] He's being really gentle with you,
isn't he?

I knew we could be friends.

I'm so proud of you, Iz. Well done.

'Cause I know how scared you were of him.
It's good to conquer your fears, isn't it?

Yeah. That wasn't so bad.

Thank you, StormBoy.

I don't think you're
that cranky after all.

Maybe we just got off to a rough start.

[Ali] See you, StormBoy.

[Izzy] Bye, StormBoy.

In this episode, you saw me
and my family helping wild animals.

If you see an animal

don't approach it, tell an adult
