[Izzy] Hey, Chompy.
You like those little massages?
[chuckles] Oh!
Chompy, you have the hiccups?
[koala hiccups]
Oh, yeah.
He does have the hiccups. [laughs]
I'm really excited, Chompy,
because Cinderella's ready to be released.
And I hope that Muffin's ready
to be released too
so Muffin can be there for Cinderella
when things get tough.
Cinderella's really scared
and cautious, and they're best friends.
It's like when you first came in,
you were scared too,
but I taught you how to face your fears.
Friends can help you face your fears.
My nose smells good, doesn't it?
No, you can't eat it.
All right, Chompy,
I got to go check on Muffin.
[upbeat music plays]
Hi, Cinderella!
Hi, Muffin!
Muffin and Cinderella
have spent lots of time together.
They're sort of like sisters now.
I remember when you guys first came in,
your eyes didn't look the best.
Both of you had been attacked
by green ants.
You were really scared, Cinderella,
and you still get stressed out
really easily.
Cinderella, you definitely need Muffin
out in the wild with you.
But, Muffin, if you're going to be
released with Cinderella,
we have to make sure you're ready.
I need to check if your eyes are healed.
They're completely clear!
And you're definitely eating.
Oh, her breath is strong.
It smells like eucalyptus leaf.
And you can pull the branches down,
so I know you're strong.
You've recovered so well,
and that means you're able
to be released with Cinderella.
I'm gonna go call my friends,
Zoe and Tamika,
and we're going to find you
the best spot to be released.
I'll be back soon, guys.
We need to find the perfect place
to release Cinderella and Muffin.
It needs to be a place with no green ants,
lots of juicy leaf,
and quiet and peaceful,
because Cinderella
gets scared quite easily.
-[Tamika] Hi, Izzy!
-[Zoe] Hey, Izzy!
[Izzy] Hi, Zoe! Hi, Tamika!
Do you want to grab our bikes and see
if we can scout out a release place
-for Muffin and Cinderella?
-[Zoe and Tamika] Yeah.
[Izzy] I was thinking the golf course
would be a good place.
-[Tamika] Yeah!
-[Izzy] Let's go.
[bike bell rings]
This way.
[bike bell rings]
[upbeat music plays]
This place looks really good.
There's lots of open space.
There's lots of great eucalyptus trees,
and there's nice juicy leaf,
and it's far away from green ants,
but there is a lot of people here,
especially the golfers.
She could get hit.
There's a guy
in one of those big lawn mowers,
and he mows this whole yard and...
Oh yeah, that would be pretty scary,
'cause koalas are very sensitive to noise.
And Cinderella particularly,
she's a very sensitive koala.
She gets spooked really easily.
If someone comes around with a mower,
she could freak out,
so I think we need to scout out
a different spot.
Maybe we could scout out
the woods near Balding Bay.
[Zoe] Yeah.
[girls laugh]
Look, guys. He's so cute.
Bye, wallaby!
[all] Bye!
[Izzy] The place I was thinking of
is just up here, guys.
It's really pretty up here.
[Tamika gasps] Wait!
[Izzy] There's clearly been a fire here.
I mean, all this used to be grass.
Now it's just... burnt.
Australia is getting hotter
and drier than ever.
That makes it really easy
for the fires to start.
This would be an awful spot for koalas,
because their throats...
They will be coughing
and they would get sick
from all the smoke and ash.
Or it could get in their eyes.
[Izzy] This place used to be really alive.
You would've found a ton of koalas here
and lots of wildlife.
It's sad,
because so many homes of wildlife
have been lost to fires.
Look at these eucalyptus leaves.
They're black.
No koala could eat these.
We definitely can't release
Muffin and Cinderella here.
So I reckon we need to scout out
a different spot.
Maybe we can release them
out at the Block.
-[gasps] Yeah!
-[Tamika] That's a great idea!
[Izzy] I think it'll be
a great spot. Let's go!
[Izzy] Come on, over here.
There's lots of shady trees,
no green ants,
no people at all, except for us.
Just what Cinderella needs!
If I was a koala, I'd go up that tree.
Tamika's like a koala!
All right, ready?
[grunts]
It fits two twins,
so I think it'll definitely fit
both Muffin and Cinderella.
[Tamika screams] Whee! Ah! [laughs]

for Muffin and Cinderella.
I agree.
[birds chirping]
[Izzy] Muffin, Cinderella,
I found you the perfect release spot.
You can hold my hand, Cinderella,

to explore everything together.

getting released tomorrow,
