and his younger brother Tahoumaru.
Without knowing they are
brothers by blood,
Tahoumaru takes Hyakkimaru to his
home on suspicion of spying.
There, Hyakkimaru meets his mother,
but without time to
acquaint one another,
he escapes leaving but little
relation between them.
Meanwhile, Dororo, having
been cast into a stream,
is saved by a young boy,
Sukeroku.
Dororo learns that,
because of the conflict,
the town was split in two,
with the banmon as a border,
and due to this, Sukeroku has
been separated from his parents.
Meanwhile, as Hyakkimaru
searches for Dororo,
a force led by Tahoumaru emerges
from the Kagemitsu manor,
and advances into the
neighbouring country.
The cries of the battle reach
Dororo and Sukeroku's ears.

She bears the face of
Dororo's mother, Ojiya.
Unaware that she serves
the Fair Fudou,
and has assumed Ojiya's features
to steal Dororo's face,
Dororo attaches to her.
