Nev and co-host Nick Young, aka Swaggy P, are hot on a case to help Sheila figure out if she's being romanced by "Love and Hip Hop" star Rich Dollaz.

How many kids do you have?
- I have one daughter. - How old is she?
- She's in elementary school. - Got it.
What do you, uh, do in New York?
- I'm a union rep for a cleaning company.
I've been there for about six years.
And I do music--I'm a rapper.
- You're a rapper? - Well, I'm an aspiring rapper.
- Cool. All right, so you really like
this guy, Rich.
When you saw him on the show,
and you--you started to realize like, this guy seems cool,
you found his Instagram?
- I Googled his Instagram.
Then I went into his DM, and he replied to me.
I was just like, smiling for the rest of the night.
- Was it verified? Was it the like--
- Yes, it had a blue check on it.
- And It's got like, a million follower or something?
- Yes. - Huh.

- Um, and so now it's been eight months?
And you guys t--like, DM'ing every day now, or?

- So, basically it all started...
I was watching, "Love & Hip Hop."
I seen him on TV, and my heart just jumped out of my chest.
I was just like, compelled to say something to him.
I seen him opening up about just trying to find someone.
Him opening up about his health.
And for him to be a man and just like,
open up kind of touched me a little.
I was just like, compelled to say something to him.
At first, he's giving me like, one little word comments.
But through time, he opened up a little bit.
- Opened up like how?
- He's talking about his health,
and how he had passed out,
'cause he wasn't taking care of himself.
I was just like, hurt about it.
He really needs somebody to be there for him.
I really do like him.
And we're kind of getting somewhere.
I feel like he's more understanding
where I'm coming from by the poems I send--

is that she's apparently talking to
his verified account.

"Not sure what city though. This is his official
"Instagram account, the one that I've been messaging with.
"Call me if you need anything else.

So, let's just go to his Instagram.
- See what he got on.
He got the followers.
- Wow. Yeah, he's got his million followers.
As far as I know, you can't fake a verified account.
You certainly can't fake a million followers.
He doesn't post a ton of stuff of himself.
He likes to post memes.
Bet you if we scroll down enough,
we'll probably see you on here.
So, really is not a lot of personal content on here.
- Yeah. - Doesn't necessarily strike me
as an older man's social media account.
- Put yourself, you know-- like, a 41 year-old...
- Right. - You're not about to be
on Instagram posting like that. So...
- "CEO of Dollaz Unlimited."
Got a website. I mean--
- I think it's him. - I know, I know.
I just--it's just never happens.
It's like, so rare that it's actually him,
especially if it's a celebrity.
But, I think you're right. I think at this point like,
there's only evidence to support that it is in fact him.
Nothing to suggest it isn't. - Yeah.
- The only other thing that could be happening--
and I know this, because it actually happened to me--
- Okay. - Was a few years ago,
I saw that a Twitter account,
with a lot of followers, had been tweeting at me.
So, I just engaged with her. I was single at the time,
and she seemed kind of cute and funny.
- So you got catfished again?
- Well, yeah. Wait, hold on.
Then because she was so good at social media,
I ended up hiring her. - For real?
- Yeah, she was gonna, like, run all my stuff.
Anyway, she was like, "Just generate a one-time
password to your Twitter account, so I can go see
who's following you-- - Yeah.
- I was just like, "Okay, here."
And then one night, it's like, 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning,
and I see I have a direct message on my Twitter.
So, I go to it and it's from a guy
I've never seen before. - Oh.
- So, what I didn't know was that
she would meet guys on her own page.
And then if they ever asked her,
"How do I know you're real?"
She'd send them a message as me.
Then confirm.
And then she would delete it right away.
So, she was clearing her messages right under my nose.
For months. - Dang.
I can't believe you.
I might catfish you next. [both laugh]
- Anyway, so it's possible that maybe Rich gave his password
to someone to help with posting or whatever.
And doesn't realize that they still have access
and are still messaging this girl.
- On the low, yeah. - Right.
"Love & Hip Hop" is on VH1,
which is part of the same company that is MTV.
So, I feel like maybe we could call
someone at MTV, VH1,
and find out if he has someone run his Instagram.
And see if there's any way we can get in touch with him.

like, keep his social media going
or who would have access to his account.

"to pull him through the Instagram dirt.
"Then his other former flame got involved saying,
'Oh, God. LOL man, I should kick you.'"

- It feels like a lot of drama.

Let's just go over what we looked at yesterday.
Just to bring you up to speed. - Okay.
- We started on his Instagram page.
And, you know, the first thing that kind of
jumped out at me is, for a 43 year-old guy,
like, he posts a lot of memes.
- Mm-hmm.. - Not to say that
there's an age restriction on memes.
- Okay. - But this looks to me
almost more like an account of like, a younger person.
- So, you think this page is fake?
- That's not what we're saying. - No, no, no, no.
- I just think that-- that's interesting.
- It does have a blue check, it can't be fake.
- Right. I don't think it can be fake.
But, there's a chance you've been DM'ing
someone else using that account, and that Rich
has no idea who you are.
So, then we thought, because he's on VH1
and--and obviously, this is an MTV show,
and they're sister networks.
I called a contact. She called us back,
and said, as far as whoever she spoke to at
"Love & Hip Hop," this is his-- for sure his Instagram.
They're not aware of anyone else running the page
or posting on his behalf.
She gave us a phone number. So, we called.
- Okay. - No one answered.
And the weird thing, was that the outgoing message
was, "Hey, you've reached Jose. Leave a message."
- Is that his nickname, or something?
- Jose? Like, nah. I don't think--I don't know.
I don't know nothing about that.
- Okay. So, either they have
a number for him that might be his--his assistant.
Or the number they have for him was an old number
from a few months ago, and maybe he switched his number.
- He changed it.
- Anyway, we left a voicemail for who we think is Rich.
- Mm-hmm.. - We also sent a text message
to follow up--to be like, "Hey, we're making the show.
We'd love to talk." - Okay.
- And as of this morning,
we have not received a response.
- Okay. - So, that's where we're at.
Now we gotta figure out with you
what the best next step is.
We have like, one idea but we're...

We were thinking maybe one of us could DM him.

"I'm doing 'Catfish' with my man on MTV.
"Been trying to get in contact with you.
Just hit me back ASAP."
- That's pretty good. - Yeah. Boom.

- How you feeling about all this?
- I'm really nervous.

Okay. Now, it's just a waiting game.

- We both messaged Rich Dollaz.
Hopefully, he'll get back to us.

- Here's what I think: if Rich has an assistant
maybe they're using his account
to DM to--to girls.
But the weird thing is like, if that were true,
why wouldn't they have like, tried to meet up?
Or said like, "Hey" as Rich?
Said like, "Hey, Sheila." like, "I'm busy tonight,
but my boy, so-and-so is gonna--is in your neighborhood.
Like, you should meet up with him. He's cool." Like--
