"Oh, my God! Congratulations.
I'm so happy for you."

Like, he was supportive
of that relationship.

- Oh, okay, got it.
- What went wrong?

Why did you call
off the wedding?

- Things were not picture
perfect as I kept painting them

to be in my head
for so long,

and it came to the point
where it was just like,

"This isn't right.
Somebody has to do something."

And the right thing to do
was not get married.

It was definitely soul crushing.

It was humiliating.

That was one
of the hardest things

I have ever done
in my entire life,

and Brandon was there.

As much as I never responded,
he didn't give up,

and he was there for me.

Brandon kept, you know,

Is there any indication that
he's not who he says he is or--

- Well, we have made attempts

I get there, and I'm there
