episode of Wicked Tuna...

TYLER: Ah!

PAUL: Ba-boom!

GEORDIE: Something
just unwrapped.

are only two...

Weeks...

Left to fish.

TYLER: I got him, woo!

NARRATOR: And while
the fight for final
paychecks intensifies...

JOE: We're on!

Oh, (bleep), dammit!

TJ: I don't know what
we should do here.

NARRATOR: The race

DAVE: That's never

TYLER: Tell Dot Com

NARRATOR: Is also heating up.

MATT: Fish Hawk, ka-kaw!

NARRATOR: This...

TYLER: Dot Com is twitching.

NARRATOR: Is Wicked Tuna.

MATT: Game over,
thank you for playing.

NARRATOR: With only two
weeks until the season closes,

Gloucester's longtime
top producer,

Fishing Vessel
Tuna Dot Com has retaken the
top spot from rival Pinwheel.

But last season's lowest
earning boat, Fish Hawk,

is out for blood and is
less than six grand away

from first place.

Meanwhile, Hot Tuna,
Wicked Pissah,

and Hard Merchandise
are desperate to catch.

DAVE: We've been the
top producing boat
season after season.

We feel right at home
on top and we plan on
staying right there.

I think our biggest
competitor is Tyler.

He's young, he's driven,
and he knows how to catch fish.

But I'm not worried.

We got a great boat,
and a great crew.

TYLER: Woo, the
competition is fierce.

We always know Dot Com's
gonna be right there, but I
think we got him this year.

There's only two weeks
left in the season.

Dave Dot Com narrowly beat me
by 19 bucks last year and I'm
not gonna be runner up again.

I'm not gonna sleep till
we beat the black boat.

We're not gonna fail.

We're not gonna give up.

MATT: Fish Hawk! Ka-kaw!

BRAD: It makes you feel a lot
better in your mind, body,
spirit to be consistently

pulling in fish, making money.

It's a lot happier
boat this year.

-Worst to first, baby!

-We wanna win this
thing bad, really bad.

So bad we could
taste it right now.

It's time for somebody else
to take home the trophy.

MIKE: This leaderboard
has been shifting around
all season extremely fast,

so we just got to keep doing
what we're doing, capitalize,
put fish in the hole and

hopefully it works
out for the Hot Tuna.

TJ: We've got to stay on it.
We've got to stay focused.

We got to stay on the meat, we
got to keep getting the bites.

And more importantly,
we've got to land them.

It's anyone's game right now.

RICK: Right now, it's go time.

Yeah, we've had a good year so
far, but we need to do better.

We need to put more
meat on the deck.

Everyone's hungry,
especially the Wicked Pissah.

PAUL: Brad, Dave,
Dave Marciano, Tyler, TJ.

Do I wish them luck?

Yes.

Do I wish them safety?

Absolutely, but I
want those fish that
are under their boat.

There's only two weeks
left and we're behind
in the earnings,

but I catch fire
late in the season.

It's not over
until the last day.

MARCIANO: I'm an old fart now.

I got nothing to
prove, all right?

I've been in this
game for 30 years.

As long as I'm making a
profit; the nice thing about
this boat, it's paid for.

We've had a terrible
season so far.

We've been at the bottom of
the fleet most of the time.

And there's only two weeks
left to make a paycheck.

But nobody's giving
up over here.

We're gonna hit it hard
right to the bitter end.

Last season was a
complete failure for us.

We only managed to catch five

fat in the majors here. Hmm.

-Come on. Give me
some big money, bro.

I need a hookup.

-I'll give you, hmm...

$17.

-Perfect.
-All right.
-Thanks Gut, appreciate it.

-Okay, yup.
-See you later, dude.
-All right.

-Beautiful.

Nine grand, I'll take it,
and we're heading right
back out to get some more.

Pinwheel, baby!

NARRATOR: Pinwheel's
double catch gives
the young duo a $1,300

lead over their
friends on Fish Hawk and
Wicked Pissah have two fish

on board they
have yet to weigh in.

Meanwhile, the fleet's
longtime top earner,
Fishing Vessel Tuna Dot Com

has not hooked up this week.

DAVE: That's the
guy we towed in.

He just wanted to thank
us for getting him home.

After towing in that
boat, we lost precious
time on the water,

and Fish Hawk and Pinwheel
have both jumped ahead
of us in the earnings.

But that's the price you pay
when you're the good guys.

I'm home. Thank you.
Will talk soon.

Hope you kill it today.

Right there.

If we don't get
good karma with that,
we might as well just do

bad things from now on.

-Yeah, exactly,
let's hurt somebody.

-Yeah.
-Yeah.

Right now, I'm desperate
enough to do just about
anything to get on the meat

and grab our lead back,
well almost anything.

I don't wanna hurt anybody.
That's just bad.

Now, it's time for
some good juju.

MARCIANO: We certainly
got a pretty day today.

Light winds, the sun's out.

One of the nicest days we've
fished so far this year.

If we can just get a fish
or two, that's the only
way we can make it better.

There's less than two weeks
left until the season closes
and the way we're going,

if we don't land some
fish soon, we're not gonna
make a profit this year.

That's half the battle is
figuring out where the bite
zone is in this tuna game.

Joe and Gel jigged
up some nice herring.

We got great conditions.

We just need to mark a
fish or two and these
rods should bend.

All we got to do is
wait, and wait, and wait.

Wait.

ANGELICA: My dad
works really hard.

He works harder than most
anyone else out there.

But we're operating
in debt here.

I mean, as a fisherman,
you can be doing everything
right and you can still lose.

And that's just the worst.

MARCIANO: Marking good,
good marks.

Nice fish, four fish.

I'd like to see that rod bend.

(beeping)

This is a great sign, Gel.

Look at that.

JOE: We're on, oh, (bleep).

-Five fish, what?

-Dammit, it popped. (bleep).

What happened?

-He pulled the hook, Joe.

-Now, this one's on.

-Reel, reel, reel, reel!

We're on!

-Yeah, we're on!

-We're on, we're on!

JOE: Hell, yeah.

(beeping)

MARCIANO: This is a
great sign, Gel. Look at that.

JOE: We're on, oh, (bleep).

-Five fish, what?

-Dammit, it popped.

-Oh.
-What happened?
-He pulled the hook, Joe.

-Now, this one's on.

-Reel, reel, reel, reel!

We're on!

-Yeah, we're on!

We got this one on.

-We're on, we're on!

-Hell, yeah!

Just had a bunch of
fish come through.

That line popped off.

They just popped right
there, right at the rod tip.

So, I don't know
what happened.

All right, ready?

-Let's do it, good.

-All right.

-Only ten minutes in
this fight, but feels
like a decent fish.

I think he's a keeper.

-Definitely think
it's a keeper, Joe.

He took enough line for that.

-Watch out!

-Watch the line!

Don't let it get
cutoff in the prop.

-Come on, now.
We can't lose him.

-No, no, no.
-He's out.

He's running away from us now.

That was too
close for comfort.

All right, ease up a little.

-Go get her.

-Soft, there you go, attagirl.

Yah, mule!

-We've only got eight
days left to fish and
we need to turn every hook

up into a paycheck.

We have to land this fish.

-Gel's doing great.

-There he is!

-Good job, Gel.

I'm gonna hop on the rod now.

-It's coming right up.

Keep the line tight, Joe.

He's a monster!

He's putting up a fight!

-Take the shot!

-There you go, Gel.

Tail strap on the
other side of Joey.

Attagirl.

-Yeah, buddy!

Wrap him up.

Yeah, another one
tail's up for the Merch.

Yeah, another one
for the Merch.

-There you go, down, down.

-We made Gel do all the
work on this one, so we just
sat there and looked pretty,

like we always do, so.

-It feels great to put away
some more money in the bank
before the season closes.

That's definitely a relief.

What is it, Gel?

-84.

-Nice, what do we say?

Over the rail in the pail.

Back to the dock
to make the sale.

PAUL: Coming in hot
with two beautiful fish!

-PJ!

-What's going on?

-This was a very,
very good day.

I'm just pumped that
our work is paying off and
these two fish will get us

closer to the leaders.

Wicked Pissah is
in it to win it.

What's the weight, PJ?
What do you got?

-181 pounds, 293 pounds.

-Very nice.
-Nice little unit.
-Sure.

-All right.
Nice color, guys.
Excellent handling.

It's not bad, uh...

$17 a pound.

-Nice.
-Nice.
-We'll take it.

-All right, this one.
-Nice fish.
-Nice fish.

Nice color, man,
I'm telling you.

You guys take really good
care of these things.

-This one here, guys,

$19 a pound.

-Very nice.
-Yes, yes!
Little fish, big return.

Adds to the pot.
We're heading right back out.

If we could keep this
roll going, boom!

We just gotta keep our nose
to the grindstone, Ricky, and
push hard to the very end.

-Let's do it, Paulie.

NARRATOR: With just over a
week until the season closes,

Wicked Pissah's
double catch pushes
them ahead of Hot Tuna,

who have not had a bite
in almost two weeks.

(phone ringing)

-Hello?

TIM (over phone):
I hear everyone in the
fleet is catching this week,

but not you.

What the hell is
going on with you?

-Rough as (bleep) out here.

-I don't know what I'm
doing wrong here, man.

-I don't know what the
(bleep) we're doing wrong.

We got beautiful baits.

-What's that?

-I know, I'm (bleep)
sick over it.

-All right, I'll call
you tonight and let you
know what happens here.

Bye.

We gotta catch something here.
We gotta make this happen.

(squawk)

DAVE: Yeah, we can
get it done today.

Hopefully, we can
pull it off again.

We're gonna keep
going here, you know.

It's coming up, the
end of the season,
but, you know,

we're knocking on
everybody's door.

It's crunch time
for the Dot Com.

We started the week as
the fleet's top earner,
but we lost valuable time

on the water when we
towed in that boat.

And now, Fish Hawk and
Pinwheel are both ahead
of us in the earnings.

We're coming down to the wire.

We need to get back
on our game, fast.

Never count the Dot Com
out, that's for sure.

You know, right now we're
having a successful season.

I just wanna tweak it and
make it a little bit better.

Hey, let's stick to
the plan, Geordie.

-Hell, yeah!

-We can get it done.
Hey, you know what?
One good day is all it takes.

Perfect.

-That's right.

-At this point in the
season, we're usually
the boat to beat.

We might not be used to
playing from behind, but
one thing's for sure,

we're not giving up our
title as Gloucester's best
bluefin boat without a fight.

-We gotta get one.

One or two.

-Oh, come on!

-We're marking, we're marking!

This is good.

-Come on, eat, eat!

Come on, come on,
eat it, come on!

-Wow, that's good to go.

Come on, come on!

-Oh, watch that bow rod!

-Huh?

-Watch the bow
rod, we're marking!

(reel unspooling rapidly)

-We're on!
-We're on, we're on, we're on!
-Hey, you got one?

-I got one!

Sandro literally just
said, "Watch that rod, we're
marking." I look back and the

was just, the rod
was bent over.

-That looks like a big fish.

-Yeah.

-This fish could get
us back in the lead.

It's a big one.

-It's actually a
great harpoon shot.

When it comes under the
bow, you just drop the
pole right in his head.

-We got a nice fish here.

-Be very careful, okay?

We can't lose this one.

-Yeah, get ready to go back.

-Oh, something just unwrapped.

-Geordie, you still got him?

-I don't know.

(cranking)

Oh, he's still there.

-Nice job.

-Forward left!
-Chase her down!
-Chase him down, Cap!

-That's a big relief.
I thought we lost him.

-I got deep color.

-Couple turns,
Sandro, couple turns.

-Close now.
-Couple turns.

-You got him!
You got this!

-Hit him, hit him, hit him,
hit him, hit him!

Hit him, hit him, hit him,
hit him, hit him!

-Drop it right in his noggin.

-I missed!

Oh, stop, stop, stop,
stop, stop, stop, stop!

-Stay neutral!
-Neutral, neutral!
-Backwards.

SANDRO: Don't run
over the fish!

rns,
Sandro, couple turns.

SANDRO: Close now.

-Couple turns.

DAVE: We're hooked
up right now.

Fish Hawk and Pinwheel have
both gained leads over us,

so this can mean
the difference between
us regaining our top spot

or going into the last
week lagging in third place.

You got him!
You got this!

-Hit him, hit him, hit him,
hit him, hit him!

Hit him, hit him, hit him,
hit him, hit him!

-Drop it right in his noggin.

-I missed!

Oh, stop, stop, stop,
stop, stop, stop, stop!

-Stay neutral!
-Neutral, neutral!
-Backwards.

-Don't run over the fish!

-That's all right, that's
all right, you're okay.

Take your time,
he's right here.

-We're gonna make it work.

-Come on, Sandro, this fish
could get us back in the lead.

-Just one shot, you're good!

-Here we go, nail it!

-Got him.

-You got him?

His tail?

-Yeah, I got it.

-Right here,
Geordie, right here.

Don't fall in!

-Yeah, Sandro,
wrestle that fish!

I got you.

You're tight!

-Woo-hoo, that's what
I'm talking about!

-Got him!
-Got him, baby, nice work!

Things got pretty crazy
there for a second.

-Woo.

-But we pulled it
together and got it done,

just like the
Dot Com always does.

-94 inches.

-Fish Hawk and Pinwheel
both jumped ahead of us
in the earnings this week,

but this is a good-sized fish.

Hopefully it's enough to
put us back in the lead.

-Thing was a little nuisance.

MARCIANO: Scotto,
what's going on?

-What's up Dave,
how you doing?

-Not much, not much.

We had a great little trip.

-What up, Scotty?

MARCIANO: I really
hope this fish spells an
end to the doldrums for

the Hard Merchandise.

Bringing in fish
three weeks in a row is the
closest we've come to having

a hot streak all season.

What do you got, Scott?

-225 pounds dressed.
-Nice.
-Nice.

-After today, there's only
one week until the bluefin
season closes and that means

no more money coming in.

So, we need a good
price for this fish.

So what do you think?

-Well, you can
see the fat in it.

-Yeah.
-Oh, yeah.
-No burn on this fish.

-Nice clear core.
-Yeah, this fish right here...

I'll do $16 a pound.

-Nice.
-Great, perfect.

-We'll take that,
that's good, that's good.

This fish isn't gonna pay
off my mortgage on its own,

but it's gonna go
a long way towards
making sure we can keep the

heat on this winter.

-All right, guys.
See you later.

-See ya.

MARCIANO: Let's go get
two more like that one,
except bigger, way bigger.

DAVE: What's up, Scott?

-What's going on?
How many you guys have today?

-We got one nice one.

It's an absolute
beautiful fish.

-Nice.
-Ready to get him up?
-Yeah, let's check him out.

That's a nice fish.

-That is a nice fish.
-Woo, what a beaut.

-What do you got, Scott?

-462 pounds.

-Not bad, not bad, yeah,
that's a round fish.

-Nice, that's a
nice little fatty.

-Fish Hawk, and then Pinwheel
knocked us out of the
top spot earlier this week.

But with our fish
as big as he is, we're
hoping we can take

the lead right back.

So far this season,
our fish have averaged
about $17 a pound,

so I'm hoping we can
keep up our good numbers
and take back the lead.

-It's got a lot of
fat in it, nice color.

-Look at that.

Nice core.

It's translucent.

-It's gonna be easy
for us to move.

-Come on, make us happy.

-$22 a pound.

-Yeah, huge price.
-Yes, nice, thank you, Scott.

This was a great fish.

Good quality, just
over ten grand.

Now I feel like we've
swatted away the flies that

have been buzzing
around our top spot.

It's gonna be another
title for us again, boys.

SANDRO: Yeah, we got this.

NARRATOR: With only
one week left to fish,

Hard Merchandise
get a much-needed payday.

And Fishing Vessel
Tuna Dot Com's ten
grand fish launches the

fleet's longtime top
earner back into the lead.

MARCIANO: There's only
one week until the
Bluefin season closes.

Time is running
out for a payday.

TJ: We started this season
out to prove that we're not
a middle-of-the-pack boat,

but now we're behind
the pack again.

I just hope we can
show the fleet what
we're really made of.

PAUL: The end of the
season is my time to shine.

And with one week left, we
might be behind the leaders,
but you can't count us out.

BRAD: After finishing
last year at the bottom.

This year's
already been a win.

MATT: Deep color.

BRAD: But I still want
that ultimate victory.

TYLER: We're only five
grand away from the top
spot, that's just one fish!

It's our year.

DAVE: Nobody's been
Gloucester's top earning boat
as many times as we have.

And if anyone wants
to take our title,

they're in for the
fight of their lives.

TYLER: This is
what we live for.
