Last year, I auditioned for The Voice and I was nearly being sick,

I was that nervous.

I was just terrified.

I remember I kept looking up to see if they were turning around.

I knew I had two more big bits and I did one

and they didn't turn around and I was thinking,

"Right, this is my last one, my last big note."

And I really went for it...

When it got to the end of my performance,

I was absolutely distraught.

I was just dreading going back to see my mum and looking at her.

She's so proud and, like, she hugged me and stuff after and...she's

coming again this year and I really don't want to disappoint her.

It's very brave of you to come back.

What do you feel has changed from last year to this year?

Last year I felt like I was ready but now, how I feel now,

I know I wasn't and I feel like I've got more confidence.

So, I'm just going to go out, like, go out there and fight for it

and I don't feel like I fought for it last year.

I really feel like I'm ready.

I've waited a year and all I've been thinking about is this cos

I knew I was going to enter it again.

I am scared because I've built myself up to come back,

I'm scared that it'll knock me down again.

I'm praying somebody will turn around.

56-year-old Bunny has been an accountant for 30 years but he sings.

So, what do his friends call him?

They call me the singing accountant!

I was born in Malaysia, that's where I was given my first guitar.

It's a dream that I had from a young age, that I wanted to be a pop star.

When you start a family, you've got to think about mortgage, yeah,

nappies and stuff like that.

You tend to be distracted from, actually,

what you want to do in life.

I don't have much self-belief in what I'm actually doing.

I'm very nervous at performing in public, in case I disgrace myself

by forgetting the words.

but I've been living in the UK for quite some time.

They've got very similar characteristics,

they wear very similar hairstyles.

Very similar clothing.

I'm always calling Tila Tavelah and Tavelah Tila.

In our daily lives, me and Kim are both very different.

Lauren is more of the homely type.

Kimberley is more of a party animal.

On stage, when me and Kimberley are performing with each other,

we have such a strong connection.

She can look at me and I know exactly what she is thinking.

I think that's really helps both of us performing together.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I think it's quite important that the coaches don't see us.

You'd see twins and you think, gimmick, fun.

We want to be serious and we want to be seen as that.

here at some point, which would be fantastic.

But this show is all about sound, not style,

and John's voice is all that counts right now.

I've always been into music.

The opportunities haven't really been there for me,

but with this I really want to grab it with both hands.

I didn't think they were going to turn, I really didn't, so they left

it to the last minute and I was like, "I've got two more lines to sing,

So Amy Winehouse was Melissa's inspiration,

but 28-year-old Leanne Jones

was inspired by another kind of big hair and make-up.

When I was 11 years old,

my headmaster, at the time, gave me a video of Les Miserables

which starred Michael Ball, and I was hooked.

From that point on, I was obsessed with musicals.

Aged 22, I landed the lead role in Hairspray opposite Michael Ball.

Hairspray, for me, was life-changing.

I was lucky enough to win the Critics Circle Award,

the Whatsonstage Award and the Laurence Olivier Award.

We just cleaned up that year.

When I left the show, I was 24

and then it's kind of, "What do you do next?"

At that kind of age, you do think, "Oh my gosh,

"I'm unstoppable and I could do anything,"

but it hasn't necessarily been the case.

This isn't just another audition for me.

It's potentially somebody opening a door.

Having a chair turn would equal the experience that I had with Hairspray.
