Hearing that from somebody

that is the voice of

it's an amazing realization
of how far I've come.

I have struggled
with my mental health,

but my mom has been my rock

whenever I'm struggling with
those moments.

Here's my mom.

She was a flutist in college.

Love my girl.
So being somebody
that is a musician,

she has been just out of
this world supportive of me.

She is willing to help me figure
out a riff, figure out a chord,

and she is incredible
as a person and as a musician,

my mom was diagnosed

with frontotemporal dementia,

she passed.

It's all because of everything
she and my dad have given me

over the years,
all the strength and support.

My fiancé, Austin,
is wildly supportive, as well,

and he's the best,
and he just proposed.

This is my mom's ring,

It was her engagement ring,

Growing up only singing
at church,

we didn't focus
on anyone around us,

but on "The Voice" stage,
it's, like, all eyes on you.

We come from a long line
of musicians

and recording artists.

Our great‐grandfather,
he was a leader

of the band called
Holy City Travelers.

So it kind of runs in the family
for us to be singing.
Yeah.

It was a really long, like,
journey, finding our voices

and going through, like,
the super hard times at school

and, like, getting bullied,

but we had each other's backs
the whole way through it,

and now we're
The Cunningham Sisters,

and now we're on the show.

We grew stronger together,
we grew stronger with our family.

...and now I understand
what they mean

dreams come true.
