(Sylvester)
Madagascar, land of the lemur

and once upon a time, pirates

including the infamous
Captain Kidd.

Our tale begins
in the port of Diego-Suarez

with Granny in search of
some mysterious objects..

...souvenirs.

Of course, I've got my eye

on a different kind
of souvenir.

The edible sort.

whack

Oof! Ooh!

I must try a more
subtle approach.

Poor puddy.

Looks like the only souvenir
he's gonna get

is a big bump in the head.

[grunting]

Whoa!

What's a-goin' on here?

I'm afraid my pussy cat

got his head stuck
in one of your bottles.

Well, if'nn you got your head
stuck in it, you bought it.

Store policy.
Cough up the dough, lady.

Hmm. The very idea.

[grunting]

[glass shatters]

Huh?

Uck. Patooie.

This must be Captain Kidd's
treasure map.

It's been missing
for hundreds of years.

Why, the treasure
would be worth millions by now.

Treasure map? Ooh!

I think that belongs to me.

Oh, no. You sold it to me,
remember?

And all sales are final.
Store policy.

Well, boys, it looks like
we're going treasure hunting.

Ooh, that old battle ax.

I've been a-huntin'
that map for years.

So, they be a-huntin'
treasure, eh?

[blows whistle]

Well, then, me lemur hardies

we be a-huntin'
treasure hunters.

Ha ha ha.

(Granny)
'This ship is perfect'

'to take us to
the isle of St. Marie's'

'the notorious pirate hangout.'

I wonder how much gold
we'll find there.

The only gold I want

is the feathery kind.

(Sylvester)
Come back here,
you sea-going sandwich.

Gotcha!

Aah. Oh, my.

What a great view
of the water, puddy.

Just look at the ship
go up and down

and up and down

and up and down

and up and down.

[gulps]

Whoa..

[gags]

Oops. The poor puddy
don't like boat rides.

Heh heh heh.

Fire!

boom

[intense music]

Aah!

[gasps]
Prepare to come about.

Hector, trim the main sail.

Tweety, jibe the jib boom.
Sylvester..

[Sylvester belching]

...swab the decks.

I'll swab her decks. Erp!

Ooh! Ya idjit lemurs!

Ya aimed too low!

boom

(Sam)
Fire! Fire!

Stupid sea squirrels,
get yer aim up!

Incoming!

[gasp]

Ugh!

[clanging]

Faster! Faster,
you swashbucklin' slackers!

They got a head start on us.

Whoa!

splash

Ya consarned critters,
come back here!

When I get a hold of you

I'm a-gonna make lemur chow!

Whoa!

Yeow!

Aah!

[intense music]

[all laughs]

[gasping]

Oh, oh, oh!

This'll learn ya!

[both gasps]

Down! Down, you mangy critters!

Yipe! Yipe!

Aha! There's that old bat
with her mangy band of anamules.

Aah.

[kissing]

Dry land. At long last.

Feeling better, puddy?

Don't you just love the sea air?

Dis ribald adventure
sure makes me hungry.

Doesn't some nice
pickled herring

and a seaweed salad
with fish flavor dressing

sound yummy?

Mmm, mmm.

[moans]

[gags]

Come back, puddy!
I haven't described dessert.

Ha ha ha.

I don't understand this map.
Hmm.

Thirty paces from the beach

and an info booth
you will reach.

That doesn't make any sense.

[chirping]

[panting]

[sniffing]

Well, that's service.

Come on, boys, we'll find
this treasure in no time.

Beyond the jungle
and past the falls

then walk 50 paces
to where the plants grow
tall.

One, two, three, four..

I'll just swing down and snatch
the map from the old bag

then you three haul me back up.

My, what big bugs
they have here in the
jungle.

splash

[mumbling]
Yeow!

slam

[mumbling]

Forty eight, 49, 50.

This must be where
the next clue is.

Ooh, ooh.

All this outdoor exercise

sure works up
n appetite, eh, puddy?

Watch it, buster.

You're rufflin' my fur.

Ha!

[growls]

Oh, aah!

[muffled yelps]

Gee, puddy, what's eatin' you?
Heh heh heh.

[muffled yelps]

Land sake, Sylvester,
what's going on?

[grunting]

Sylvester, stop
cat-napping on the job

and get on with this search.

Let's see, where to now?

The treasure lies in a spot

you'd expect the least

in a place marked "X"

about a league due east.

Come on, boys.
Let's get us some pirate booty.

Nineteen ninety seven,
1998, 1999, 2000.

Well, this has got
to be the spot.

But we're right back
where we started.

Where's the "X?"

- Hm!
- Hm!

- Oh!
- Oh!

[gasps]

Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff.

Huh?

(Granny)
Yippee, we found it!

Hector, start the digging.

(Hector)
'Ruff, ruff, ruff!'

Captain Kidd's treasure chest.

Hand over that there
treasure.

[chattering]

[chattering]

[gasps]

Huh? What's this?

A comic book, and candy?

Well, I suppose Captain Kidd

really was a kid after all.

[chattering]

Uh-huh.

That's it?
There has to be more!

Aah!

Yikes!

Who says our shows lack bite!

Heh heh heh.
