He's adopted,

who are in foster homes.

out of foster homes

John was given up at birth,
adopted, returned,

and then John had to be
in foster care

for almost a year as a baby.

Jack was always asking Lisa how
much I cost when I was a kid.

on a shelf.

Jack gravitated to working
with foster care

because he knows that
his dad's fortunate,

but it could've been a totally
different life for his father.

He was upset, angry, mean,

and he may have not been sober

but he was trying so hard

It's the first time I've

we had worked through

and I thought that our future
