The drawbacks of owning

on her sister because of that.

This disease impacts

It's the absolute opposite.

All I've ever tried to do

It's hard for me to watch.

I've worked so hard to be
where I am and who I am today,

and then I see this

"Like, she could be struggling."

My sister didn't see the light
at the end of the tunnel,

and everyone tried to cover up
and make it okay.

Is Kyle doing that for Kim?

And then one day,

you don't see it,
and they're gone?

I felt her sadness, and then,
obviously, I saw her anger.

- Yeah, their... their stuff
goes deep and way back.

It isn't just between
myself and Kim because

we were all there,
and we all experienced

the ripple effect, you know?
- The thing is this:

it's like, it's been so long.
Everybody has to move on.

talking about it
is so counterproductive.

- It is, but it's awful
for everybody.

Eileen and I have been down
this road, and Kyle makes it

very clear she does not want
to talk about Kim or any of it,

so I'm hopeful
that this conversation

is a step toward healing,

but it could absolutely
backfire.

when we adopted him, right?

in maybe finding the whereabouts

of his birth parents.

So we're meeting
with the adoption lawyer

that facilitated
the whole process 24 years ago

when we got him
from foster care.

when he was younger.

to find my birth parents"...

- I've had the good parts,

Nobody can take him

emotional for all of us,

but I'm there to support him.
