- [Philip] Probably an
abandoned copper mine.

They were very common long ago.

- [Dinah] The people were
trapped in mine shafts then.

- [Lucy-Ann] Do you think it's deserted?

- [Philip] Oh, yes.

(suspenseful music)

- [Lucy-Ann] I think it's scary.

- [Dinah] Why's that?

- [Lucy-Ann] I don't know, just a feeling.

- [Philip] Looks like an old mine.

I think we should go and explore.

(door opening)

- What's going on?

- It's a long story, Allie,

and I don't have time to explain.

(suspenseful music)

(tapping receiver)

Kiki's still locked in the room

and they're going to blow the tunnel.

(foreboding music)

(door slamming)

- [Kiki] Hello, hello!

- What do we do now?

- Yes, Minister, Cunningham
has located the printing press.

It's in a disused mine
on a deserted island.

We've got men moving in there now.

No, Minister, I assure you,
it's all under control.

Nothing will go wrong.

(thrilling music)

(helicopter whirring)

(sparks whizzing)

- Jeez, tough lock.

- [Kiki] Open the door, open the door!

- We're trying, Kiki.

(sparks whizzing)

It's not girl's work, this sort of thing.

- Look, they're my children, Uncle Joss.

(helicopter whirring)

(door creaking)

- Lucy-Ann!

(dynamite explodes)

(girls screaming)

(Joss shouts)

- Oh, my God!

(water rushing)

- Come on, it'll put out the flames.

(Lucy-Ann screams)

- Hang on, Lucy-Ann!

- Ah, you've got them.

- Where's Joe?

Kiki!

(gun fires)

(sad music)

(Jack crying)

- Don't be stupid, Joe.

Put the gun down.

- Anybody move and I'll shoot!

(branch snapping)

(Joe screaming)

- [Dinah] I really liked him.

Poor Joe.

(Kiki squawking faintly)

- (gasps) Kiki?

- [Kiki] Hello, hello!

- Kiki!

- Splendid, Cunningham, splendid news!

The Minister will be delighted.

Well, I'd be surprised if you didn't

get a special commendation.

Well, yes, I suppose some sort of reward

will be in order if they
helped solve it all.

money behind the paintings?

- They'd been tipped off
that we were onto them,

so they thought it was the
perfect place to hide it

till the heat was off.

- Just think, I can
say one of my paintings

was worth thousands of pounds.

(kids laugh)

- They should be anyway.

- Flatterer.

- I might just take you up on that.

- What's this, Uncle Joss?

- Oh, the ginger nuts
for the two brave girls.

- Oh, thank you!

- Behaved like honorary chaps.

- Uncle Joss!

- [Allison] Will Kiki be all right?

- Yes, it just winged her feathers.

She'll just need to be
kept quiet for a few days.

- Some hope.

- [Kiki] Shut up, Kiki.

(all laugh)
