Racers jet off to Bathurst, N.B., where they must put their footwork to the test; some teams realize they might not be doing as well as they thought.

quaint town of Montebello.
It's here 6 teams will
begin the 9th leg on
Canada's favourite
summertime adventure.
Jesse and Marika won the
last leg of the race and
will depart first.

Teams will now travel to
Bathurst, New Brunswick,
the gateway to the
Acadian Peninsula.
Located on the northeastern
shore of the province,
this Acadian community is
known for some of the
warmest waters on
Canada's east coast.
We have three wins now,
and it's definitely giving us
the confidence that, hopefully,
we can bring it home.

as they continue the
adventure of a lifetime on
The Amazing Race Canada.
Once they touch down,
they'll find the all-new
Chevrolet Silverado ZR2,
and drive themselves to
Frostbite's Dairy Bar,
where they'll be treated to
a cone and their next clue.

way to the fishing town of
Caraquet, the unofficial
capitol of Acadia,
and locate the charming
bar and live music venue,
La Brokerie.
In this Road Block,
one team member will get
a chance to dance
Acadian style.
Here, one racer will need
to memorize and perform the
complex choreography
that is signature to
this style of step dance.
Once they figure out
the fancy footwork,
Rebecca will give
them their next clue.

a reconstructed
17th century
Acadian village.
When teams arrive,
they'll change into
traditional wool clothing
and wooden clogs,
and grab one yoke,
two small buckets,
and fill them with water from
this spring well all by hand.
Racers must then carry the
buckets, using the yoke,
to the other side
of the village,
where they will fill
an empty barrel.
Once they've filled
their barrel to the brim,
they'll receive
their next clue.

In this Detour, teams will
get a chance to experience
one of two tasks that keep
the guests of this
glamping resort
coming back for more.
Teams must now make
their way to Cielo,
a hotel and resort
internationally known for
their cozy pearl-domed suites
and fresh, local seafood.
The oyster beds of
New Brunswick yield over
150 million bivalves
each year,
and the cold, clean waters
of Saint-Simon Bay
produce some of the best
tasting oysters on the planet.
Oh, yeah.
In Oyster Shuck, teams will
use a shucking knife to
delicately pry open their
oysters while being careful
not to damage any of the
precious contents inside.
Then they must exactly
replicate these
oyster platters,
using garnishes and all.
Once they've successfully
shucked and perfectly plated
two dozen oysters,
Pat, the owner,
will give them
their next clue.
In Clean & Tuck, teams
must choose one of Cielo's
stunning beachfront glamping
domes, called "pearls",
complete with plush beds,
boutique bathrooms,
and spectacular ocean views.
However, teams aren't here
to enjoy the amenities.
They're here to clean
and organize their room.
Using this dome
for reference,
teams must replicate every
item exactly in the dome.
Once their room is picture
perfect, and guest ready,
Emily, the owner, will give
them their next clue.

Using only traditional tools,
they'll have to
chop and prep enough wood
for 50 roof shingles.
Once they've helped
raise the roof,
Brendan and Connor
can keep on racing.

before continuing the race."
If we bear down here, we can
get through this quickly.
"The shingle maker will
demonstrate how to properly
and safely use the
provided tools."
The boys have to
complete a Speed Bump,
so we have a little bit of,

glamping resort
coming back for more.
Teams must now make
their way to Cielo,
a hotel and resort
internationally known for
their cozy pearl-domed suites
and fresh, local seafood.
The oyster beds of
New Brunswick yield over
150 million bivalves
each year,
and the cold, clean waters
of Saint-Simon Bay
produce some of the best
tasting oysters on the planet.
Oh, yeah.
In Oyster Shuck, teams will
use a shucking knife to
delicately pry open their
oysters while being careful
not to damage any of the
precious contents inside.
Then they must exactly
replicate these
oyster platters,
using garnishes and all.
Once they've successfully
shucked and perfectly plated
two dozen oysters,
Pat, the owner,
will give them
their next clue.
In Clean & Tuck, teams
must choose one of Cielo's
stunning beachfront glamping
domes, called "pearls",
complete with plush beds,
boutique bathrooms,
and spectacular ocean views.
However, teams aren't here
to enjoy the amenities.
They're here to clean
and organize their room.
Using this dome
for reference,
teams must replicate every
item exactly in the dome.
