This is Turkiye's turquoise coast.
It's 950km of Mediterranean shores,
beach resorts and ancient ruins.
And the jewel in its crown
is Alacati,
a 600-year-old fishing village
of red roofs
and narrow stone streets.
And in the hills beyond,
the Aegean wind powers endless rows
of wind turbines,
delivering energy to 10%
of Turkiye's homes.
11 teams have travelled east
from Izmir
and are about to start the race here
in Alacati.
But Kathy & Chace and Stuart &
Glennon are still in isolation
and will return to the race
as soon as they receive
a negative COVID test.
Much like me who's still in Athens,
but I'll be back as soon
as I get the all-clear
or... when Accounts get
my room service bill,
whichever one comes first.

OK, in this challenge,
all our teams have to do
is get two ice cream cones
off one of these street vendors.
Easy, right?
Uh...
Not easy.
These guys are renowned tricksters
and so basically getting
an ice cream from them
isn't... that... easy... at all!
But once they can get two cones
between their team,
they will get themselves...
..their next clue.

around the orange buoys...

coloured pieces of Turkish Delight,
but only one is yellow.
Once teams retrieve
this single yellow-coloured piece...
