The Amazing Race Australia (2011–…): Season 6, Episode 7 - Leg 6 (Greece - Türkey - full transcript

Racers arrive in Athens for a thrilling round of archery, and a visit to the fabled Temple of Poseidon, before facing a tricky detour and a Spanakopita feeding frenzy that may determine their fate.

Previously
on The Amazing Race Australia...

..under the snow-capped peaks
of Arachova...

Look at the snow!

..Pako and Mori...

Mwah!

..found wedded bliss.

You are the first team to check in.

Whoo!
So good!

While the bell tolled...

Let's go, Sammy.

..For Sam and Stu.

You are eliminated.

Ohh.

Sorry, boys.
That sucks.

Tonight...
- Fly to Izmir, Turkey!

Yes!

..take a dash of culture...

And yes!

..a guzzle of guts...

It's just shoelaces.
That's all it is.

..add a little bit of bickering...

For the hundredth time,
look at the examples!

One of the other teams
isn't carrying it properly.

..with a touch of treachery.

That wasn't gonna sit well with us,
so we did dob on them.

..and you have
The Amazing Race Australia.

OK.

This is the picturesque village
of Arachova,

nestled below the majestic beauty of
Mount Parnassus in southern Greece.

And it's from this famous
18th-century clocktower

that our remaining teams
will be setting off

on the seventh leg
of The Amazing Race Australia.

- Let's go!
- It was a good one.

"It's time to leave Arachova
clocktower and Greece..."

"And fly to Izmir, Turkey"!
Oh, my God!

"And learn a modern version
of a Turkish belly dance"!

Oh, I can't belly-dance.

So as 13 teams
are about to hit the road,

sadly the same can't be said
for a few of us.

I'm quarantining in my hotel room
in Greece

after testing positive for COVID.

Unfortunately, Kathy & Chase
and Stuart & Glennon

will not be competing in this leg of
the race but will be returning soon.

However, the race must go on.

So our 13 teams
have travelled the 395 kilometres

to the newly renamed country,
Turkiye,

formerly Turkey.

The western city of Izmir

is one of the most
historical settlements

in the Mediterranean basin

and a gateway
between Europe and Asia.

This ancient city is today
a heaving cultural metropolis,

home to a modern population
of around 3 million people

who will now welcome our 13 teams

to the 7th leg
of The Amazing Race Australia.

Our teams have hit the ground running

in the order
that they finished the last leg.

Let's go!
Let's go!

Let's go, babe.

L'Agora Old Town Hotel?

Hey! Yes, yes, yes!

Are we ready to get
our belly dance on?

That's right.

OK, so we need alter egos for this.
OK.

So maybe I can be Turkisha
and you can be Delight.

Yes.
So together we're Turkisha Delight.

Everyone's had a bite...

Everyone's had a bite
of Turkisha Delight!

Teams are looking for this place -

the L'Agora Old Town Hotel,

where they must memorise
the choreography

to a modern Turkish belly dance.

While nailing the distinct movement
of hips and torso is hard enough,

the teams must also incorporate
Isis wings,

a prop commonly used
in belly dancing.

Once they've learnt the dance,

they have to wait their turn to
perform it in front of the judge

as many times as it takes to nail it.

Then they'll receive their next clue.

How good that we're in Turkey now!
Yeah!

That was a new country
for us to tick off.

Lauren and I got together
during COVID

and we actually
haven't been able to travel

internationally together at all.

I'm so excited to belly-dance today.

I feel like this is definitely me
in my zone today.

Oh? You've done it before?
Mmm! Mm-hm!

You in.

Thank you!

L'Agora Old Town Hotel?

Hello!
Hi!

Get in.

Excuse me.
Excuse me, excuse me. Thank you.

Let's go. Thank you!

L'Agora?

This way!

L'Agora.

L'Agora Hotel?

Here?
Here, here. On the left.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Let's go.

So when we ran in there, we were
neck and neck with Frankie and Angel

and Steph and Lauren.

Yeah.

But we felt that
our biggest competition

would be Frankie and Angel
because they've been killing it.

Ready?

OK.
Yep.

Spin.

And twist.

Spin with both hands up.

Down.

Oh! Ohh.

We love dancing!
Yeah.

We love doing TikToks together.
We love just having a boogie.

So, I was, like,
this is my moment to shine!

So... OK.

I think, the thing is,

I've got enough bellies
for about five people.

I might take someone out with
my belly if I have to wriggle it.

Well, then, less people in the race!

Let's go, George.
Yep!

Come on, Heath!

We can't hear anything!

Do we need anything else?

Where's the change room?
Alright.

Is that it?

I hope not!

Here, move your hair,
move your hair.

And you just shake the hip, I guess.

Oh, you got rhythm!

You got rhythm! This is unfair!

We gotta get up, alright?

Starting in 7th today,

we knew that we couldn't muck around

because 7th,
you can easily drop to last.

We got downstairs and
I think everyone was already there.

And that music, the Arab music that
was going on, that's like our...

That was our jam.
We love that.

One, two, three, four. Down.

One, two, three, four.
Shimmy up, Georgia.

When we saw the belly dancers,

we were like, "Hooley dooley,
we're in a bit of strife here."

They looked very elegant

and I was, like, I am no way getting
my body to be moving like that.

As the people that won the first leg,
we definitely had that confidence

that we could
potentially do it again.

We just knew we needed to nail this
to really get a jump on other teams.

Recently got married
only six months ago.

We do want to start a family
in the next few years

and, you know, own our home
and stuff like that.

To win this 250k allows us
to, you know,

really make the most of our life
while we're young.

Do you wanna try it?
Let's go try it.

We decided to go first on purpose

because if you just wing it
and you get it, then you're off.

Shimmy up.

Turn. Raise, raise.

And up.

We had the routine down pat.

We just didn't drop our little...

Our wings.
..Fairy wings at the right time.

- You sure?
- Yep.

Alright.

So when we thought we had it,
we went to perform to the judge.

Ready? Then...

One, two, three, four. Shimmy up.

One, two, three, four.

Shimmy down.

And then up. Ooh!

Ohhh! Damn it!
Mori!

Ohhhh!

Nah.

We weren't in front of the dancers
like the practice area.

So we're, like,
trying to use our peripheral,

like, "Nah, this is a fail."

Yeah, can I make my eyes
go that way

to try and see behind
what's happening?

We're gonna practise more.

We'll practise more. Yeah, yeah.
I know. We weren't ready.

We had it. We just needed to nail...
We just... Yeah.

..Not only just do the movements,
but memorise the sections.

So, left, right, left, right.

Ready? One, two, three, four.
Shimmy up.

And then shimmy down.
Shimmy down.

Hips, hips.

Shimmy to the left,
shimmy to the right.

Shimmy, shimmy here,

and a shimmy, shimmy there

and a shaky, shaky here

and a shaky, shaky there.

One, two, three, four.
Shimmy down.

To the right.

One, two, three, four. To...

One, two, three, four.

Hula. Hula.

Slow spin.

Ohh...
Oh!

Thank you.

Don't worry about it. Let's go again.

Yeah, cool. Thanks.

No surprises.

Alright, that was not a surprise.

When you fail your first attempt,
straightaway you're thinking,

"Oh, God, we're now
at the back of the pack."

Ohhhh!

It's just a spin
to the right every time.

Yeah.

It was do or die
because everyone started lining up.

So we had to nail it.
Yeah.

In front!

And, yeah!

We did it!

Thank you, darling! Whoo!

Alright. Ready?
Let's go. Yep.

"Route Info.

"Ride a magic carpet
through the streets of Izmir

"to receive your next clue."

Whoo!
Let's go!

In this challenge, teams must
fly through the streets of Izmir,

Aladdin-style.

Throughout the ages,

magic carpets have captivated us
with their mythical charm.

Unfortunately, teams don't have
a genie on their side.

The carpets being used today are
powered by an electric skateboard,

complete with remote control
and brake.

They have to keep to the right
of the yellow cones

and to the left of the red,

then weave in between a series of
individual cones at the end,

making sure to pull up
within the designated stop zone.

Fall or knock over a cone...

Ouch!

..And it's back to the start.

We're gonna have
our Aladdin and Jasmine moment.

Yes, our fantasy.
Yes!

Shotgun Jasmine!
Well, obviously.

Thank you so much!
Thank you!

One, two, three, four.

Bang, bang, bang, bang.

Turn and...

Yeah!

Thank you!
Thank you.

OK, "Ride a magic carpet
through the streets of Izmir

"to receive your next clue."

Oh, my gosh!
Alright. Let's go!

Oh!

Mori, you closed the door on me!

Oh!

I didn't.
Oh!

Hello!

Ready for our safety briefing.

OK, babe, just remember
which way you gotta go.

So we're going this way and then
that way and then this way.

OK.
So, OK.

Ready?

If it's too fast...
Yeah. Go, go, go.

Yeah, that's it, babe. Keep going.
Keep going. Give it a bit more.

I don't wanna go too fast.
It's really sensitive.

Yep, yep. Slow down.

Don't go too fast.

Oh, there's a stop sign here.
No, no, no!

What?

Just go really slow.

Keep going.

We've done it.

Huh?

Try again.
I needed to go through those.

Did you read the clue, babe?

Just to make sure
what that last one was.

"You must weave between
the yellow and red cones only."

Oh, weave between them.

Sorry.
It's alright.

"For the controller,

"you will be handed the corresponding
remote for the magic carpet..."

Oh, shit!

Oh, my gosh!

Oh, no!
They got hit.

Oh, no, can we go?
Can we... Can we keep going?

I can't believe it. That sucks.
I know. I know, that sucks.

That's scary for them.
They did well. They were second.

Yeah, but it could happen to anyone.

Keep... Can we.... Sorry, sir.
Can we keep going?

Oh, gosh!

Please, sir, quick! Please, quick!

The girls just passed us.
Oh, my God!

- Let's just get another taxi.
- We can't get another one.

Out of nowhere, this car
just T-bones us to the side

and hits literally Frankie's side
and puts a full dent in the car.

Watch where you're driving
next time.

You literally nearly killed us.

It was so scary.

Yay!

Thank you!

Thank you so much!

We were very nervous. Like,
we really don't want to go home.

Thank you! Ha ha ha!

Shimmy, shimmy, shimmy!
Thank you!

One, two, three, four. Shimmy up.

One, two, three, four. Shimmy down.

Drop and belly roll.
Yeah.

Shimmy.
Yeah.

And then we've got the hands thing.
Yep.

Hands.
Yep.

Yes!

Thank you!

I'm actually surprised
we got a pass.

Uh, I managed to fake it
till I made it, I guess.

Let's go!

One, two. Slow spin.

Ohh!

This morning, we started in third.

Probably gone down
to the back of the pack.

One, two, three, four. Shimmy down.

Turn to the right.

One, two, three, four.

It's very hard.

Clearly, we're not dancers.

Thank you, driver.
Thank you.

- Are you guys alright?
- Did you see that?

So scary.
Just follow her.

You're the one turning,
I'm not. I'm just...

Yeah.

Not too fast, Frankie!

I'm... I'm not going fast.

Yep! I've got it.

You got it?
Yep.

Gab, Gab, Gab, Gab, stop, stop.
Gab! Gab!

Just keep going! Keep going!
Push the brake.

Keep moving me!
OK, stop.

Just let her go. Let her go.

Frankie, just let me go smoothly!
Stop stopping me!

You need to be sensitive on that.

Gab, Gab, you can't stop like that
and go.

It's very, very hard.

Keep moving me.
Yeah, go reverse now.

Bend backwards and reverse.

Yeah. Bend backwards and reverse.
Yeah.

I know it's not easy.
Do you think doing this is easy?

I'm not trying to argue with you.

You got to bend backwards.

You don't think I know that?

Ready? Yeah, yeah.

Go round it.

Ohhh!

Pop the brake, Ange.

You should try again.

We went past the designated area.

Alright, kneepads, kneepads,
let's put them on.

Thank you!

Oh, my God, look at the course!

Alright, let's go.

So, yeah, just that end part,
make sure we slow down.

Doing awesome, babe.

Doing well.

G, slow, slow, slow, slow!

I'm not touching it!
You need to use the brake!

Point it at the thing.

OK, OK.
Slow, bro.

Go, go back!
Slow!

Just fell back. Too much heel side.

Yeah, and then cut here.

Righto, cut.

You got this! You got this!

Oh! Babe, no!

No drama. We've got this now.
That bloody cat!

Just gonna try
to steer close to it.

In and out.
Wait, wait, wait.

Sorry.
Go again.

Gotta be
in the designated stopping area.

Yeah. Oh!

Keep going.

You did it!

Thank you! Thank you very much!
Thank you! Thank you!

Balance!
He nailed it.

Honestly, he got low

and he navigated his way
through those cones

like no-one's business.

I don't ride skateboards.
Well, maybe I should pick it up!

Jasmine's knees wouldn't have hurt
that much, or her back.

Ah! Ooh! It's a Road Block.
Let's see.

Yeah, hang on, mate.

A Road Block is a challenge only one
team member must choose to complete

based on a cryptic clue.

Yeah, mate, can I please get
an 80m ladder?

"Who's feeling sheepish?"

Me!
OK!

Kokorec is a local delicacy.

It's basically sheep's guts
cooked on a spit.

First, teams must wind the intestines
and the stomach lining

onto a huge skewer.

To make sure it cooks perfectly,

it has to be tightly wrapped

and have a smooth, even shape.

Like this.

If it's too skinny
or has bits hanging off...

..it's a big fat fail from the judge.

Next step is to exchange their
raw kokorec for a cooked version,

eat the plate clean

and they'll receive their next clue.

Yeah. Sorry.
You gotta be slow on the remote.

It's very, very hard.

Yeah.

Gab! Gab!
Yeah, yeah.

Sorry, sorry.

- Frankie, slowly.
- Keep that speed, Ange.

Wide, wide, wide.
Now, sharp turn now.

I've got you. Now break.

Now! Now, now!

Perfect job.

Yay! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you. Thank you.

Keep going a bit more.

Stand up.

Yeah, I'm proud of you!

Yay!

Professional skater.
Well done.

You know what?
You're gonna have to go, maybe.

You want to give it a crack?

'Cause I'm obviously failing.

You want me to try?
Yeah.

Alright.

I'm swapping with Gab.

Keep that pace, keep that pace,
keep that pace.

That's alright. You're doing better.
Don't know how to get the last one.

Stop! Stop!

Stop, Jamus!
- I am stopped.

I didn't touch the button.

Good. Don't move back yet.
Don't move back yet.

You knocked it.

Perfect. You did it!
Whoo!

Thank you! Thank you so much.
Thank you.

You wanna do it?
No, you do it.

OK. I'll do the Road Block.
Jamus will do the Road Block.

It sounds kinda like a rice paper
roll but, like, a meat version.

Let's hope it's like that.

Flick.

Ooh! Dooh, dooh, dooh!

Yes! Thank you, thank you!

Thank you!
Thank you!

Oh, yay!

Thank you!

Clues, clues, clues, clues, clues!

But not for Lauren and I.
No.

Oh!

Argh!

We normally rock.

You're nearly there.
You got one more go.

Flick, I can't get it.
I can't get it.

And this challenge
we just couldn't do it.

You got it, Gabba.

Yeah, go straight.
Yeah.

Keep that pace. Keep that pace.
Keep that pace.

Whoo-hoo!
Ohh!

We did it, you bastard.

You should try again.

Ohhh.

Wait, what?

We had to stop in here.

You're nearly there. Don't cry.

You're nearly there!
I'm gonna lose my marbles!

Dr Chris, how are you, buddy?

Yeah, good, mate.

Look, mate, would you mind filling in
for me on The Amazing Race?

Oh, you're not that busy.

Thank you!

We're the first team.
We're number one.

Yay!
Alright.

Hello!
Hello!

Hello, hello, hello.
Ooh, look at this.

This looks cool.
It does.

Hello! Lovely to meet you.

This looks like a horror movie.

We're gonna have to saw our arm off
to get to the next clue.

Oh, here. Restaurant, kitchen.

Hey!
"Full crate of meats..."

So, "Full crate of meats..."
Yes.

"..From the wet fridge
and then go to your workstation."

OK.

"And then follow
those instructions."

"Tear a hole and..."

Clean the faeces,
clean all the excess...

He's got
the weakest stomach.

Shut up. Just push through it.
Yeah.

Tell you what, Mori, don't.

OK.

You gotta clean the shit out of it.

I'm, like, literally
clean the shit out of it.

Don't. Don't. I'm gonna throw up.
I'm gonna throw up.

It's like, um, a colonic.

OK.

So I need to get
a full crate of meat.

Which ones are the small intestines?
- Read the instruction.

We had to get meat and wash it,
then spin it on the spit thing.

I don't even wanna know
what I'm touching right now.

Large intestines, small intestines.

Then there was, like,
stomach lining.

Yeah, it was... It was kinda gross.

Just intestines flying everywhere.

This is probably a kebab.

If this is what a kebab looks like...

Ahhh!
Ohhh!

Hello!

Thank you.

It's in the fridge there
behind you, Morgan.

Oh.
Read.

It's Lil doing it.

Whoa. That's not what I thought
it was gonna be.

Yeah, I thought...

I thought it was gonna be
like a rice paper roll thing.

Whoa, this is intense.
Ooh!

Oh, my gosh.

What is...
Jamus, what's happening?

Thank you.

Go, go, go, go!

Keep going, keep going, keep going.

Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, faster.

I felt positive because I've ridden
things like little hoverboards

and small skateboards and all types
of things when I was younger.

Slow, slow, slow, slow!

You are perfect. You passed.

Yes! Thank you, thank you! Yes!
Let's go.

Nailed it.

"Who's feeling sheepish?"

You are.
Me, obviously.

Thank you! Thank you! 'Bye!

So when we got there, it wasn't as
magical as I thought it would be.

But there was lot of bags
in the bag drop area

which picked our spirits up.

Ready?
Yeah.

Slow, slow, slow! Slow, Reem!

It's as slow as I can go.
Slow! Reem, slow!

Jesus!

Alright.

Oh!
- It's alright, Gab.

That's it. Keep going.
You got it. That's it.

It's alright.

Alright,
lean as much as you can.

I'm leaning as much as I can.

Don't think I'll get it.
It's alright.

That's difficult.

This is gonna be hilarious.

Are you good at skateboarding?
No.

Oh.

Yay! Thank you.

Thank you for being patient.
Thank you so much.

Hula to the right.

Hula to the left.
Hula to the left.

So, I get a job?
Yeah!

Yes!

Get comfy, get settled.

Are you settled?
Yep.

Go.

Not too much, not too much.

- More left.
- More, more.

OK.

Slow, slow, slow, slow, slow!

Let's go. Let's go.
Yeah, you can brake too, you know?

OK, sorry, I should have used it.

Slow. Stay in medium pace.

Slow. Slow.

Stop me. Stop me.

You're in! You're in!

Congratulations.
Oh, thank you so much!

You did it!

23 goes later, we've got it.

Yo.

You did it.
Thank you.

Thank you!

Yay! Thank you.
Well done.

Thank you. Thank you.

Road Block!

"Who's feeling sheepish?"
I think you.

I'm doing the Road Block.

Thank you. Thank you, sir.
Thank you.

Alright, let's go, babe.
Yeah.

How are you going, guys?

Oh, what is it like? Is it hard?

It's hard. We've been here since...
You know when we got here?

Yeah. Yep.

I knew Lauren was the right person
to be the rider for that job

'cause, um, she's... she's got
an electric skateboard.

Thank you to my brother-in-law Rob
who got it for me,

the electric skateboard for
my birthday a couple of years ago.

Come on, let's make up some spots.

Yeah, keep going.

Super slow, super slow. Steph!

Slow, slow, slow.

At the very end, it was super tight

trying to navigate
the carpet through.

If you take it too wide,
you'll be off.

So I think a lot of teams
lost it at the very end.

Good job!
Thank you! Let's get out of here!

We knew we had
three people behind us.

We're not in last anymore,
which was a huge relief.

"Who's feeling sheepish?" Me?

Yeah.
Yep. Alright.

Thanks very much. Thank you.
That was really hard.

Good job. Love you.

Yes! Well done. You did so good.
Yes! Thank you!

You're amazing.

Thank you very much.

I'll do it.
You sure? Certain?

Yeah.
OK, let's go. You got it.

Want me to do it?
I like sheep.

Are you sure?
Yeah. And then it's 2-2. Let's go!

"Who's feeling sheepish?"
Me!

Yay! Let's go!
I'm a sheep. Ooh!

Great job.

A strong performance saw

Lauren and Steph climb off the bottom

and into 9th place,

while Crystal and Reem

slid three spots into last place.

Excuse me!

So glad you're doing this
and not me.

Oh, my God!
What?

It's meat.
Do you have to eat it?

I think the challenge is meat.

I'm so sorry.

I've been a vegetarian
for 12 years.

When I realised I was going
to have to eat meat,

I was absolutely devastated.

You know what? We can ask
if we can get a penalty, OK?

Just for the eating part.
Don't do that.

Hey, it's alright.
You're not gonna have to...

We'll... We'll just take a penalty
just for the eating part, OK?

If we've got a bit of a lead,
let's just do...

We don't have a lead.
There's two teams behind us.

Thank you!
Thank you. Kitchen, mutfak.

"Head into the kitchen
preparation area."

Hello.

"If all stations are full,
wait your turn."

That's a long intestine.

I have no idea what this is.

A little tangled.
It's all tangled.

Read your instructions.

Read!
OK, Chelsea!

Shut up!

I'm over this.

Peace!

Slow and steady,
just like the tortoise.

She's the best person
to have in your corner.

Good girl.

We're very encouraging to each other.

When we get down,
we know that it's OK.

We can just be positive about it
and we'll get through it.

Keep going, keep going, keep going,
keep going, keep going.

Yes!
Good?

Perfect.
Oh, my God.

Thank you, God.

Thank you.
Thank you. High five.

Let's go.
'Bye!

Our strength is we're two girls
with a point to prove.

We can do anything if we set our
minds to it and we will do anything.

We got this.
We got this.

"Who's feeling sheepish?"

I'll do it.
OK, let's go.

Oh!

Oh!

Lil, make sure you do it nice.
Otherwise you'll do it again.

Just make sure you're cleaning
as you're going.

Yes.
'Cause they'll really check that.

Don't think about it.
I know they're intestines.

But I actually just don't even want
to think about it.

I think...

Please... check.

Very good?
Very good.

Shot, Ange.

Bravo.
Brava!

Bravo!

Yew! Nailed it.
Thank you, thank you!

OK.

Let's go.

Wait in line. Wait in line.
Alright.

Hello!

Hello. Thank you. Thank you.

They give you a precooked one.
Oh, that's what they do!

I was stressing out. I'm not good
with eating foreign foods.

Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you.

And eat it outside?
Yeah. Oh.

That's nice. You got it.

How do you know?
You haven't tasted it.

You're saying it's nice.

Yew!

Oh! Amazing!

Oh...

Just eat it with your hands. Don't
need that. You don't need that.

Am I allowed to eat some?
I'm hungry.

Nah.

You're killing it and killing it
and killing it again.

Hey! Ho! Hey! Ho! All the way.
Lick the plate. Let's go.

Alright, let's go.

Oh, Vincent!

Careful.

Thank you. Thank you, sir.
Thank you.

"Follow the marked path..."

To the kitchen?
"..To the kitchen."

It stinks.

Hey, if you can't do it,
I don't care at all. OK?

Like, I literally am so proud of you,
it doesn't matter. Alright?

If you can't eat it,
I don't mind at all.

OK.

OK?
OK.

Come inside.

They're all the same, eh?
Yeah, some have more.

Ugh! It stinks.
Alright, go do that one.

Do you think it's done?
Yes.

OK. Judge!

Judge.

No?

No.
So, cover it more.

Did you see Angel's one?

She's finished.
Did you see how it looked?

I did it wrong.
The layers were done correctly.

Um, but...

It was just the wrong shape.
It's making me sick.

It was the wrong shape.

It was very gross.

Stop it!

Ohhh. This is so stressful.

What's wrong with it?

I just wish I didn't do it so well
the first time.

Now I can't untangle it.

"Once you're finished,

"bring your empty plate
back up to the store counter.

"If the judge says it's fine..."

Huh? We're good? Yew!

It was like heaven in my mouth.
I loved every minute of it.

Yes!

Yes! Thank you.
Thank you.

Thank you. Delicious. Amazing!
Beautiful.

"Route Info."

"In the neighbourhood of Kemeralti,

"use traditional poles
to carry 100 gevrek each.

"Deliver them to the street cart
to earn your next clue."

Let's go!

A gevrek is a staple food
specific to Izmir.

It's like their version of a bagel.

Using poles, each team member

must transfer 100 gevrek
from one side of the busy market

to a designated street vendor
on the other side,

ensuring they keep the pole
above their shoulders.

It's culturally offensive
to drop the gevrek.

And if the teams do so...

..the dropped bread will not be
counted in the challenge.

Once each team transfers 200 pieces
to the drop-off point,

they'll receive their next clue.

Let's go.

Scooch, scooch. Ta.

Good work, Mori.

OK.

Yes!
Yay!

Yay!

Good work, boys.

OK.
Good job.

Restaurant - here. This is it.
You see?

I look so stupid...
You look good!

..Running through the streets
of Turkey like this.

That was a bit gross.

Think about Isuzus. ¤250,000.

I'm just imagining ramen right now.
Yeah.

You did it!

I can't even wipe my face.
I'm covered in raw meat.

Yay! Thank you so much.

Good work, Lilli!
Best meat ever!

Whoo!
OK.

"Route Info."

We're going to the front
of the Havra Sokagi.

Thank you!
OK, what is there additional?

"Follow the marked path."

We're in the middle
of a market here.

Hectic market.
It's so busy!

And there's a flag there. There's
a store there. There's the marker.

Here's the poles. The poles.
Yeah.

Oh, these must be the...

How do you carry them on it?

We're gonna have to do a few rounds.
That's the thing.

What for?

You think we're gonna get 100
on that pole?

We'll have to do a few rounds.
OK.

OK, let's go.
OK, you go first.

Needs to be above our shoulders.

Slow and steady wins the race, eh?

You want to do my one?

This is so hard.

It is so hard,
like, honestly.

Jamus, it's so hard, hey?
It's real hard.

Is it, though? Like, have you read
the instructions, Jamus?

Chelsea, stop, man.

Check, please.

Oh, my God!

Jamus, are you looking
at the example?

Like, it's not looking
like anything!

We've had four people
leave here already

because they've all followed
the instructions.

Like, look at the example!
For the 100th time, look at it!

Shush, Chelsea!

I'm the one who does everything
'cause you don't read instructions!

Build furniture, make cupcakes!

I've said it about 100 times today.

You're looking like a ding-dong.
Relax.

As usual,
Chelsea looks like a ding-dong.

You're a ding-dong.

You're not even doing the challenge
and you're crying.

I'd probably be out of here
'cause I read instructions!

Jonathan LaPaglia,
how are you, buddy?

Hey, mate, can I grab your brother's
phone number real quick?

It's Vicks VapoRub. OK?
Yeah.

So just put it under your noise.

It's something we do in hospital
just to deter smell.

OK. Thank you very much.
That's OK. That's alright.

So just pop it all the way
under there.

Check, please!

OK.

Yay!

Yay!

Kinda feels like a condom,
doesn't it?

Look at your examples,
Jamus.

I am, hon.
No, you're not!

Oh, stop, Chelsea!
It looks nothing like it!

You're not looking at the example.

I'm not sure what you're looking at,

but everyone is looking
at the right thing and you're not!

It's not that easy, man.
I'd love to see you do it.

To be a bystander
and not be able to help whatsoever

is the most frustrating thing ever.

Like, honestly, I was ready
to walk out that door.

I wanted to blow my top.

Thank you.
Thank you.

Alright. Let's go.

OK, look, there's an arrow.
Let's keep going through.

Sorry, everyone! Keep going.

Oh, gevrek!

Gevrek?
- Gevrek!

Where's the poles?

Oh, there. They're the poles.
OK.

Two, four, six, eight, ten.

We gotta find these baskets,
eh, Pako?

Is this it? I don't know
if this is the right one.

Are you the gevrek cart?

No. It's the wrong one.

- Are you counting the gevrek?
- I sell gevrek.

Oh, no, it's not... Ooh! Sh...

Oh, shit!

Sorry, I didn't mean any disrespect.

Sorry.

It's just really hard.

Thank you.
Thank you. Sorry.

We have to take this back
to the beginning now.

Yeah.

Thank you. Thank you.

We'll take this back.

Hopefully Frankie and Angel
are lost.

Yeah.

Let's go.

Do you see the arrows?
Here.

Oh.

Shall we look at what it looks like?

Yeah, do you want a look?
Yeah.

I feel like it looks bad.
- It's fine. Just keep going.

I've never cooked with large
intestines at home before. Ohh!

So I am seeing,
like, a lot of my loose bits.

Tighten it up.

Is this good?
Yes.

Is this good?!
Yeah.

Yeah!

Hey, I still got it!

- Is this the cart here?
- Keep going.

This is the cart.
Look for the...

Take it there.
Hi.

Hiya.
Hello.

I hope our count's right.
I'm pretty confident, Ange.

Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you, thank you.

Thank you.

OK.

More.

"Once your total has reached 100,
you'll receive your next clue."

100 each!

59, 41.
Oh, we have to do it again!

So, was that 100 altogether, eh?
All four?

Yeah, I thought
it was 100 between us.

OK. That's alright. Let's go.

We actually didn't read the clue
properly

and it was saying 100 each.

Yeah!

And we thought 100 altogether!
Between us.

Halfway there. Damn it!

Going away.

You're doing good.
You're nearly done.

Good job. Let's go.

This is not bad.

Good job today. You know what?
We passed someone.

Alright, talk to me about something.

I'll forget what this is.
Alright.

This actually tastes like chicken...
uh, pork, actually.

Oh, amazing! Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you.

Thank you! Whoo-hoo!

Oh! Thank you! Thank you so much!

Let's go! Let's go!

Oh. Oh, Toni, over here.

Oh!

Mm-hm.

Stop, steady. You right?
Yeah, you've got me. Yeah.

We'll go here?

Make sure it's all tight
and you're comfy.

Your bag's all tight and comfy.

Arms are burning.

Keep going, Ange. Keep going up.

Up, Ange. Yeah, nice. You got it.

Nearly there. Nearly there.

Thank you, sir.
- These are all my gevrek.

We need to remember how to get back.

Alright, let's go.
Thank you.

More.

How many have we done?
I've only done 10. You've done 20.

We got to do 100 each.

Oh, God! That just went in my head.

That's brain... - ooh! -
..Lamb juice in my...

They're OK.
That's good.

OK, yes, look.

Oh, very good.

Ohhhh.
- You got this, come on!

I got...
You've got it! You've got it!

Almost done. Good job.

Alright, now go.
You got this.

Ahhh... One minute.

Shovel it in like it's rice in
a bowl. Like it's rice in a bowl.

Good, good. Good job.

Thank you.

Awesome. Thank you so much.
Thank you.

"Route Info."

Uh, just drive, please.

Oh, my God.

I can barely even walk
into a butcher,

so having to touch
that disgusting, like, bath thing

is going to be
absolutely horrendous.

Over here?
Thank you.

Yeah.

It's just shoelaces, OK?

It's just shoelaces.
That's all it is.

Just...
Georgia, Georgia, look at me.

How do I start?
Georgia.

Still to come,
desperate times...

Look at that. They're not even
carrying it properly.

Hey, one of the other teams
is carrying just down here.

..Call for desperate measures.

Quit the show. Let's go.
What?

I hope we come last today.
Babe!

Don't get left behind.

Hey, Rove McManus... Oh,
Rove McManus? Sorry, wrong number.

I have played with some bodily
organs, being a midwife.

But this is the next level.

It's not the best-looking piece
of food I've ever seen,

but just keep winding.

Good job, Steph. Good job, Steph.
You're doing well.

You're doing really good, George.
Keep going. You're doing well.

I collected myself
and I just was, like,

"We're not going home, we're not
going home, we're not going home.

"I'm not going to let
this meat challenge be my undoing."

You're doing well, G. Keep going.

We have probably
two more runs left to go.

Thank you.

- Thank you!
- Thank you.

What's it called again?
It's like a gevrek store.

Will I turn just up ahead?
Yeah, OK.

Let's go.

It's going straight, right?
Yeah, yeah.

Hello! Oh, pole, pole, pole,

Are you doing that?
Yeah.

I can't see any marked path
anywhere.

So I'm guessing we just
gotta walk and find the cart.

Gevrek cart.
Yep. But which way?

I don't know.

Hot bread coming through!

Get it while it's hot.

Hello, sir.

Oh, you're very handsome.
Hello!

Ooh!

More.
Yep. No worries.

OK. Thank you.
We'll be back. We'll be back!

No running.
No running.

Yes. OK.

Yes?
OK.

Thank you! Look at this bad boy.

Let's go eat some sausage.

OK.

Oh, thank you!

Don't jump. It's wet.

OK.

Ahhhh! Thank you!
- Yay!

I did feel
a lot of pressure,

but I got in there, didn't speak.

I kinda just focused on
what we had to do.

There you go, do that.
Good girl.

Well done!

Killing it.

See? She's a smart one.

It's actually not bad.

Finish on the good bit.

Thank you!
Thank you!

Yes!
Yay!

Ohhh. Right.

"Route Info."

"Use traditional poles
to carry 100 gevrek each."

"Deliver them to the street cart at
the entrance of the Kizlaragasi Han

"to earn your next clue."

Finish strong.

Ohh. Watch out, Angel,
this one's gonna fall.

Hello.
At the back here.

Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello.

Ohh!

Oh. Oh, he counted already.

I...

Yes!

Thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We are so pumped
because we overtook the husbands.

It felt good
'cause they were on a roll,

like, the last two challenges
before that...

Yeah.
..They were first and first.

Then it was good to
actually get in front of them.

It was good to overtake them.

Yes.
Oh! Let's go.

"Route Info. Make your way
to Izmir Cumhuriyet Meydani

"to find the Pit Stop."

For the seventh Pit Stop
of The Amazing Race Australia,

the teams are making their way
to Cumhuriyet Meydani,

one of the largest urban squares
in Izmir.

It lies on the shoreline
of the Aegean Sea

and features
an impressive bronze statue

of the first president
of the Republic of Turkiye,

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

Apparently, he was a pretty smart guy

because he played a huge role
in the modernisation of the country.

Speaking of smart guys,

I can't be there to check in
our teams today, obviously,

so I've enlisted the help of someone

who comes pretty close to matching
my wit and my sense of humour,

my good friend, Ada.

Welcome to Izmir.

Hello, my name is Ada
and it is very nice to meet you.

"Hurry! The last team to check in
may be eliminated." Let's go!

Thanks. Do you want to buy
something while we're here?

I just need to know
which way to go.

Me? I don't know either.

The girls are there.
Do you want to help them, babe?

Of course.
Yeah, we'll help them.

Oh, look, they're coming back
with sticks.

So, Cynthia!
Cynthia, we'll show you where it is.

Wait. And follow us.
'Cause you'll be walking for ages.

It's such a nightmare to find.
Follow us.

We'll be quick.

Two, four, six, eight,
ten, twelve, thirteen.

Follow us, babe.
Yep.

We did the first one and we got lost
and walked everywhere.

Really? Shit.
Alright.

Just go slowly.
I'm behind you. Just keep going.

- One step.
- Where is this?

Hang on!
Hang on. Hang on.

What was in the gevreks?

Dude, they were...
They were made of cement!

Excuse me! Excuse me! Excuse me!
Excuse me! Excuse me!

Ah! Ah!

OK.

Yay! Thank you, thank you,
thank you, thank you!

So we got to the Road Block last,

Crystal killed it
and we jumped ahead.

Which is amazing!
So we weren't sitting last anymore.

We were so happy.

Tubs, you are the kokorec queen!

Go, go, go. Nice and speedy
here. Should cover most of it.

Need to make up a bit of time.

Ah! Thank you!

You've done 64?
Yeah, 64.

And I've done...

..70.

Fliss, turning...
Watch out, Tottie.

Watch out! Watch out! Watch out!

- Let's go, babe.
- Let's go.

Home stretch. We thought before
once, but now it's definitely.

Oh, jeez, my shoulder.

More!
What?

I did 24, you did 26. I did 24...

..you did 26.

It's 100 each!

So you have to do 100.
I've been doing more.

He'd only done 96 at the end,
so we had to go all the way back

to get four bread.
And do one more.

Oh, that is so finicky!

Whoa! Whoa!

OK.
More!

Alright, let's go. More? Yep. OK.
Thank you.

That's OK. We just do 10-10.
Yep.

Alright, alright, good.
Up you get. Up you get.

There you are.
Yay!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

So there's still hope...
..for us, so we're really excited.

We're still in the race.
Definitely.

Drive!

OK.

Thank you so much!
- Yeah! Let's go, G.

To the restaurant.
You know where it is?

Yep!
You're a legend.

That was so good. You did so good.

So I was stressing about making
the actual kebab thing,

I hadn't even had time to
really think about eating the meat.

So I got the kebab done

and now I'm like,
"Oh, gosh, I have to eat the meat."

Who ever thought we'd be doing this,
you legend? Water. Good job.

You're good.

Think of something else.

Hmm.

You're good, you're good.

You're good, you're good.
Take your time.

Spit some of that out if you need
and re-eat it.

I'm done.
Good girl. OK, bring the plate in.

Bring the plate in. Show him.

Look here. Oh, OK.
Thank you.

Yes! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much.

You are so good. She's vegetarian.

Look at these!

Oh, so good!

How much?
How much?

How much?
Good price.

Oh, look at the orange ones!

Oi, this look good, hey?

I want those. How much those?

You have a size 8?
Ladies size 8? Yeah?

We were pretty confident that we had
a good head start on everyone.

I think I earned
those shoes today, boy.

Are you sure this is a good idea?

We could be losing first place.
Wanna go?

Let's go, Ange.

OK. Sorry!

Let's go.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.

Frankie.
Keep going, keep going.

I don't remember
coming through here.

Let's go to the main road.
I think we've gone the wrong way.

Ohh!

I'm over today.

Got 200 metres
out of the marketplace

and all of mine - pyonk! -
Slipped off the ends.

I wanna forfeit.

What?
Quit the show. Let's go.

At this point, I'm over it.
I don't give a shit where we come.

I hope we come last today.

Thank you.
Thank you so much.

Thank you. 'Bye.
Thank you!

Quick! Quick! Go! Go!

Alright, he took us the long way.
Got your bag?

Hey, girls. Gotta carry
your backpacks the whole time?

Alright, if...

Thank you.

Today was very emotional for me,

but Jamus being Jamus was trying
to speak positively to me...

Just take your time.
Come on. It's alright.

..And get my mind back on track.

So I got back,
started to pack the sticks again.

Well done, my girl.
I'm proud of you, honey.

Four and four and we'll be done.
OK.

One... We just have to push this last
one, you know, and we'll be easy.

So we started walking off
and we got to about 20 metres,

I was, "We keep going, we're gonna
have to come back and do it again.

"Why don't we do the four and four
and get this one done?"

Six.
24.

That decision saved us heaps of time.

It's getting heavy.

When we come back, we're looking
for the yellow and blue chairs.

Yep.

Heath, be careful!

Careful here, G, careful.

- More!
- More?

More?
Yep.

No problems.
Let's go, Flick.

It's heavy. So heavy.

Ooh!

There it is. Is that it?

Hello!
Hello.

Hello.

More!
More.

Yeah.

I don't know why I thought
we had 200 already in one go.

- Hey, guys!
- Hiya!

How are you doing?

Oh, my God, this is hard.
It's heavy.

Come on, please.

Enjoy.

Yes! Thank you so much.
Thank you.

Thank you! Thank you!

Thank you. I appreciate it.

Whoo!

"Make your way
to Izmir Cumhuriyet Meydani

"to find the Pit Stop."

"Hurry! The last time to check in
may be eliminated."

OK, let's go.

Was a good idea counting, eh?
You and your maths.

You got your dad's brain.

We did it. It was a big day.
Hello! How are you?

Excuse me. Taxi? Taxi?

That way?
Main road up top?

- We've gotta find the other...
- That's the hotel.

Yes. Legora. Straight ahead.
Straight.

Excuse me. Sorry. We're lost.

I remember the perfumes.
OK.

Excuse me.

First one right there.

Cumhuriyet?

Here, Flick, one there!

Taxi! Taxi!

Uh, excuse me, can we please go
to Izmir Cumhuriyet Meydani?

You could easily get lost
in that market.

Oh!

I really hope that
we're still in first place.

We need to hurry 'cause
the last team to check in

may be eliminated.

You know
where the place is?

No English.

OK.

Make sure you get my good side.

Thank you, thank you! Thank you.
Thank you, driver.

Where's Beau?

Welcome to Izmir.

You are the first team.

Whoo!

Good work.
Yes!

You are a step closer
to the biggest prize

in Amazing Race Australia history -

¤250,000.

You have also won a family holiday
to Nickelodeon World at Sea World

with a Dolphin Family Adventure,

thanks to Nickelodeon Travel.

Yay!
Yay!

We'll take our family for a holiday.

I have a lot of family,
so they'll love that.

Coming in in first place
was just like...

It's the best feeling, hey?

OK, OK, OK.
Oh, no. Robot, robot.

OK, OK, OK.

Go and have a well-deserved break.

Thank you!
So good.

See you later. Thanks.
See you later. Thank you, sir.

Here come the hubbies.

What is this?
Oh, my God!

What?!

He's winking at me.

Husband's right here.

You are the second team to check in.

Yay!
Yay!

Now go rest up.

'Bye!

Oh, my God, it's a robot!
Oh, it's a robot.

Whoo!

Welcome to Izmir. You are the third
team to check in. Good work.

Welcome to Izmir. You are the
third team to check in. Good work.

Yes! Oh, my goodness.
Welcome to Izmir.

Come here.
You are the third team to check in.

Good work.
We made it.

Welcome to Izmir. You are the third
team to check in. Good work.

Thank you.

Welcome to Izmir. Welcome to Izmir.
OK.

Alright. We get it.
Thanks.

Welcome to Izmir. Welcome to Izmir.
Welcome to Izmir.

We'd better be able
to eat these when we're finished.

Hey, you need something
to shut your mouth up.

You think you're funny, eh?

Oh, my Lord!

That really hurt.

Thanks, girl.

Yes.

Yay! Thank you!
Oh! Oh, good. Thank you.

Whoo!

Thank you. High five. Thank you!
Thank you.

Thank you.
Yay! Thank you.

Thank you so much.
Oh, thank you so much.

Thank you!

Thank you so much.
Thank you so much.

Thanks. Thanks.
Well done. Let's go.

Oh!

"Route Info."
"Hurry! Last team to check in..."

"..may be eliminated." Let's go.
Where are you going?

Taxi!

This is Havra Sokagi.
OK. Sorry.

Wrong end.

Oh, man,
I'm so proud of you, my girl.

A mess.

Thank you. We'll be back.
- Thank you.

OK.
A lot.

Thank you.

So we're at 70 each.
70 each.

Happy?
15 each end?

15 each end.
Yep. Thank you very much.

We'll be back. Thank you.
Thank you.

More.
More? How much more?

28...

Ah! If you keep counting out loud,
it's hard for me to count too.

Sorry.

There's gotta be a marker
around here somewhere.

Anyone know where to go?

Where's Beau?

I am the superior version
and much better-looking.

Oh!

This isn't Beau.
Hello!

Welcome to Izmir.
You are the fourth team to check in.

Yay! Thank you so much!
Yay!

Ah!
Welcome to Izmir.

You are the fifth team to arrive.
Whoo-hoo!

Welcome to Izmir.

Chelsea and Jamus,
you are the sixth team to check in.

Push, push, push!
And push mine too.

Thank you!
Thank you!

That's not
over the shoulder, bro.

Someone else has got to say it.
They're not gonna believe...

Look at that. They're not even
carrying it properly.

Had to carry it above your shoulder.
That's the hardest part.

But Reem and Crystal were carrying it
at about chest height

and that wasn't gonna
sit well with us

because we worked so hard to make
sure this was above our shoulder.

So we did have to dob on them.
I'm holding it like that.

That's what we're doing too. We're
busting our arse. We're sweating.

Hey, one of the other teams
is literally carrying it

down here, like, the whole way.

Yeah.
It was Crystal and Reem.

And up.
Yep.

Just take this one slowly.
We don't wanna drop any.

Are the other teams getting docked
for carrying below their shoulder?

No. No.

It was up the whole time.
Right here.

It was here! It was here!
No, mine wasn't...

You guys had it down like this,
I think.

Oh, no, I just... just now.

More!
Do I have to go back?

Dump it and go? Ohh.
Go, go, go.

Let's go.

When did I do it?
That's OK. Let's just start again.

Good job, girls!
Hers is on her shoulder.

We had a lot of hope,

but, unfortunately,
as I was delivering my 28,

apparently I had dipped.

So we had to go back because
it came underneath our shoulders.

So that was really disappointing.
Yep.

Good job, G.

Breaking the rules,
it really goes to show

you gotta make sure
you're doing the right thing.

OK, I need 13, you need 18.

Let's just do one more
in case our maths is off.

Yeah.

I dropped one. I just remembered.
I forgot, yeah.

What happened to the girls?
I don't know.

I think they had to go back.
Quick, that's fantastic.

Thank you very much.

Yes! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! Thank you.
Whoo! He-hey!

Hello. OK.

Izmir Cumhuriyet Meydani.

Reem, you're hitting me.
Crystal, just let me do it!

I just said you're hitting me.
Get over it!

Are you OK with that?
Yeah.

Above the shoulders, G.
Yep!

OK.
Where's Jodie and Claire?

I haven't seen them for ages.
Doesn't matter.

They were carrying heaps.
Were they?

They're dragon boaters,
so they'd have strong arms.

I know. That's what I'm saying.

Alright, you tell me when.

OK, go straight ahead,
straight ahead.

It is nice to get out
once in a while.

Looks like Tammy and Vincent
are coming in hot.

Whoo!
Whoo-hoo!

Welcome to Izmir.

You are the seventh team to check in.

Cool! Thank you.
Thank you!

Thank you, robot.

Domo arigato, Mr Roboto!
Roboto!

Whoa!

It's OK, I've put four extra.
Just don't drop any more.

Just don't drop any more.

Keep going. Doing good.

Don't tip.
Your right side needs adjusting.

Beep-beep! Excuse me.

Duck! It's a limbo.

Thank you so much!

Thank you very much!
Thank you, thank you!

"Find the Pit Stop. Hurry! Last team
to check in may be eliminated." Go!

Good job, G. Really proud of you.

I'm glad they got penalised.
Yeah.

Yeah.

Yay! Thank you very much. Thank you.

One, two.
Here.

Yay! Thank you. 'Bye.
Thank you!

"Make your way back
to the front of the markets

"where you were dropped off, find the
marked taxi, ask them to take you."

We've gotta get a marked taxi
from the way we started.

"Find a marked taxi."
You know how to get back?

Yeah, I know.

We knew there were
two other teams left.

Left up here.
You sure?

Yes.
OK.

We were thinking
the other two teams have gone.

Yeah.
We're the last ones here.

Can you help with direction?
We have to go now?

Yeah.
Why?

We're in a hurry, race. Which way?
Quick!

Which way?
This way.

Straight from here. Straight!
Straight?

Do you know where you're going?

No.
We need to find the road.

We've made a mistake.
We gotta catch a taxi.

Oh, really?
Yes!

Does it say?
Yes!

We're not going home. Let's go!
Go right.

Right?
Yeah.

We are just praying that maybe
someone's got lost in a taxi

or someone's gone the wrong way

because that was our only chance
at that point.

What is today? Seriously!

OK, he's coming, he's coming.

Ah, marked taxi!

We have to find a marked taxi!
There!

It's just here. Keep coming.

We could either be third-last,
second-last or last place.

We're not sure.

Fastest way, please, please.
Yallah, yallah, yallah, yallah!

Thank you.
Thank you.

Here come the cops.

It's a robot!
This does not look like Beau.

Welcome to Izmir.
You are the eighth team to check in.

Oh!
Awesome, babe. Oh, thank God.

Oh!

Welcome to Izmir.
You are the ninth team to check in.

That is so sweet.

Oh, we got a machine.

Beau got a day off!

Welcome to Izmir. Heath and Toni,
you are the 10th team to check in.

Well done, babe.

Well done.
Ohhh.

So now
it's up to the traffic.

If we can get there quickly,
we might come second-last.

Not getting lost

and then hopefully not too much
of a sprint to the Pit Stop,

and then we might have half a chance
of staying in this race.

Uh, yallah as much as possible.

Ahhh!

Welcome to Izmir.
You are the 11th team to check in.

Good job for eating that kokorec.

I love you.

I love you too.

You did such a good job.
Yeah, you did awesome.

Well done. Now go and rest.

Thank you so much. Thank you.
Thank you so much.

Thank you.
Let's go. Ohhh.

Look at Beau! Look at Beau!

Beau the robot.
Beau the robot.

He's been replaced.
Replaced.

Hi, Beau.
Welcome to Izmir.

Definitely not as good-looking
as Beau.

Hmm?

No. No.

You are the 12th team to check in.
We're 12th!

The old ladies
live another day, hey?

Yeah! Whoo! Dragon mamas!

Come on, come on, come on.

Leave the doggie.

Crystal, leave the dog.

Let it go.

Hello!

Crystal and Reem,
you are in 13th place.

I am sorry, guys.
You have been eliminated.

Your time in the race is over.

We are going to miss you.

That's OK, Beau.
You look a bit different today but.

I think we saw it coming.

We didn't do terribly
at any of the challenges. We just...

Bad luck.
Yeah.

We just had bad luck at all of them.

I have someone here
who wants to speak to you.

Oh, no, girls, what happened?

We tried our best.

You did. That's all that matters.

I saw you were at the back of the
pack and couldn't make up ground.

Yeah. Whenever we tried,
we'd just - pfft! - Straight back.

Being the last team to check in,
you know the drill.

Unfortunately, your time in the race
is over and you're eliminated,

but I look forward to
catching up with you guys soon

and giving you a big hug
and an embrace.

But walk tall, be proud of
each other and hold your heads high.

We will. Thanks, Beau.
Thanks, Beau.

Thanks for everything. 'Bye!
'Bye!

I'm proud of you.
Me too. Proud of you.

We're gonna leave
with our heads up, held high, proud,

and happy
with what we have achieved.

We did it! High five.
We did. Yeah.

Next time
on The Amazing Race Australia,

teams get oiled up...

Oh, this is cruel.
- Can we have some more, boys?

In the circle.
Longer than three minutes?

..And dressed down.

I just need to know you can get
this next one. I really do.

But will an evil eye...

Wrong end.

..Do more harm than good?

Do you still want to continue?
