The Amazing Race Australia (2011–…): Season 6, Episode 13 - Leg 13 (Colombia - Belize) - full transcript

Racing through the jungle and busy streets of Belize, teams face multiple challenges as they head into a tough Eat or Beat Detour. Then, a heart-pounding foot race to the finish sends one team home.

Previously on
The Amazing Race, Australia...

..in the city of Cartagena,

Pako and Mori...

Yay! It's Beau!

..Made it two in a row.

You are the first team to check in!

While Stu and Glennon's race
was over.

You are the last team.
Yo, yo, yo.

And you're eliminated.

We're two blackfellas from NT.
Like, what?!

It's, like, a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity,

and we've literally
lived through it.

Tonight, with five teams

still in isolation...

Whoo!
..Five race on.

Where are you taking us today?

"You'll fly to Belize City,
in the Caribbean."

"You have" - yes! -
"$125 for this leg of the race.

Let's go!

They must get fired up...

Holy sh...

..and work together...

Flick, relax. You're not...
We're not doing it until you relax.

..To find their rhythm...

Can you listen to make sure
we're doing the same thing?

..Or risk...

You are the last team to check in.

..Elimination.

The is The Amazing Race, Australia.

Belize is a country
on the north-eastern coast
of Central America,

and with its British colonial roots,

it's a mix of Mayan, Latin
and Creole cultures,

giving it a unique flavour
within Central America.

Caribbean beaches,

untouched rainforests
teeming with wildlife

and archaeological treasures -

Belize has it all.

And it's here
that the teams will be racing

for the 13th leg
of The Amazing Race, Australia.

But as nine of our team members
take a direct flight

from Cartagena, Colombia,

to Belize City,

one team member
is running her own race.

With COVID still creating chaos
for flight reservations,

Angel has been bumped
from the flight.

Instead, she is travelling

to Cancun, Mexico,

to take a long and perilous drive

across the Mexico/Belize border.

So, until she arrives,
our Church Friends team

is just down to Frankie and Jesus.

And I'm not talking about
the cab driver.

Let's go.

Ooh!

Turn... between the cars.
Yep.

Right.

Good rip.

"Route Info."
Money.

"Make your way along
the Old Northern Highway."

"You must direct the driver
using the provided TomTom..."

"..to receive your next clue."
Alright.

Let's go.

Old Northern Highway.

Teams are departing the airport

in the order they arrived
at the last Pit Stop.

They're racing to the rainforest

just outside Belize City,

where, if the wildlife
don't get 'em first,

they might go a little nuts.

Go, go.

Here we go. "Route Info."

OK.

We want to go to
the Belize Exotic Adventures.

What's that? That must be leg money.
Yeah, cool.

Did you get money? Is there money?

$125, we've got.

The Caribbean.
Who would have thought?

Arriba!

- It's nice and warm.
- Very warm.

And I've got Deep Heat on my legs.
My legs are on fire.

See that guy?
He's just dancing to us.

Oh, my gosh. This is crazy.

And it's a bit unfortunate I don't
have my team-mate with me today.

I've arrived in Belize
without Angel,

and I was definitely worried
that she wouldn't make it at all.

I made the decision
to race for both of us.

If there was a chance of us
getting eliminated

because I didn't continue racing,
I didn't want that to happen.

It's a one-man team today.

Oh, sorry! We were meant to
turn right there.

Can you turn around? Sorry.

Oh, here it is.

Park here. Perfect. Thank you.

Yeah, got ya. Hey, boys.

Hey, guys.

Native to Belize
and the surrounding Caribbean region,

the cashew nut is easy to snack on,

but complex to prepare.

It's a labour-intensive process
just to shell one nut.

And in this challenge,
teams must shell a whole jar.

First, teams will scour
the rainforest

for a bag of firewood
and a bag of raw cashew nuts.

Then they must build a fire

and heat up their roasting pot
until its base turns white.

When their roasting pot is heated,

they'll pour their bag of raw cashews
into the pot,

and continuously stir the nuts
to evenly distribute the heat.

After continuously stirring
for 5 to 10 minutes,

the nuts will begin to pop
and catch alight.

Once they all ignite, teams
will need to extinguish the nuts

using a tree branch,

tip over the boiling-hot pot
to empty out the nuts,

then coat them in ash to cool down.

Once the cashews have cooled,

teams must carefully crack
the outer shell

of each individual nut

and delicately remove the nuts,
one at a time.

Once their jar is filled
with the cooked cashews,

the team will receive
their next clue.

We're off,
running through the jungle...

Whoa!

..Trying to find a hessian bag

and a sack of...
- Firewood.

Went all the way around and back
to the beginning and I'm like,

"We're supposed to be looking
in the frickin' jungle for them."

And just near here.

Just here, sir.

Just right behind those drivers. Yep.

Alright, let's go.

Good job, Frankie.

Alright, let's go.
Yeah, it's in here.

So, just follow the marked path,
and hessian bags and cashews.

This is crazy.

Let's go!
We gotta look for the bags.

I just look to my left
and I see a bag of firewood

that I just pick up.

And I'm the first one
to grab something, out of the people
that are there.

So, it will be a bit hidden.

- Frankie's already got it.
- Where did you find it, mate?

In the bush
where you're running through.

I'll pick this side,
you pick that side.
OK.

And then, right at the entrance,
running back around,

I find the bag of cashew nuts.

Got it.

I'm in the lead. That's crazy!

No-one's collected their stuff yet.

"Put all the safety gear on."

So, look down and look up
because...

Oh, found one, Gab.
You got one?

Yep.
Which one?

Got the brown.
Good work, Flick.

We just need the white now.

Let's go.
White, white, white!

You got it? Yes! Let's go.

They're so heavy.
Yeah, yeah. I've got you.

We need the brown hessian bag.
- Yeah, here.

Let's go.

Oh, yes, got one.

- Just take it easy.
- No, we can do this.

My God, it's hot.

Righto, I think...
- Yeah?
Yeah, I've got it.

I need to start the fire

and then I've got to chuck on the
pan, burn the pan up, get it heated,

and then tip in all the cashew nuts
to heat up.

Yeah, it would help, having
a second pair of hands right now.

You know what this reminds me of?

When we went away to Callala Beach

and we had to try
and start that fireplace,

and it was such a mess!

And we just went down to the IGA
and got those fire cubes.

It was SO much easier.

If you can please
just park...

Thank you.
Alright, come on.

Ah! Ow!
Careful.

Careful.
Ooh!

Oh, here.
Where?

Yeah. I don't want to go in there.

I don't want to get bitten
by anything.

We found the cashew nuts instantly.

OK, come back this way.

Aah! Mozzies!

Quick! Quick!
What?

Malaria's probably real out here.

Aah!

This is a fast process.
Yep.

So, I kind of want to
heat up the tray.

Carefully pour
your entire bag of cashew nuts

into the tub.

The hardest thing
was definitely the heat.

The sweat that was coming off us

was just crazy, it was so hot.

I feel like a witch,
with my cauldron.

I am the nut master!

Until it catches on fire.

There, there, there.
No, don't worry.

Holy sh...

The ashes.
Yeah. Good job, good job.

Grab two big handfuls.

Grab another handful.

Come, let's do it. One more.

Two, three.

Let's spread them out
to diffuse the heat.

More? With all this?

Just the ash?

Yeah.

And then we can start cracking?

Gotta wait till it cools.

They're good enough.

Take big breaths.

We're still running around
like headless chookens... chickens.

We're literally gone around
in circles.

We have almost gone
around in circles.

Aah! OK. Ah...

Everyone's gonna be finishing up
and stacking up their jars with nuts

before we even start a fire.

We're losing so much time here.

OK. I'll put a few on there for you.

And different angles, maybe.

You had, like a wooden stick
to smash them on,

but you had to do it
delicately enough

that they wouldn't break the nut,

but hard enough
to break the shell.

Some of them,
we absolutely just destroyed.

Oh, shit. Toni?
What?

Broken it.

There has to be a technique
for this. Smash?

It's not easy.

Harder than I thought it would be.

Let's hustle. Let's get it done.

I love cashew nuts.

My favourite is... Oh, no, wait.
That's macadamia.

Never mind.

You've just gotta jemmy the sides.

It's like serving shellfish.
Isn't it beautiful?

There it is.

Ohh! Jesus!

How is that we spot it now,
after all that?

Come on, let's go now.
We need to run. We're wasting time.

No wonder cashews
are so expensive.

I know!
The work that you put into it!

How good does it feel
when the nut comes out whole?

Oh, it's almost orgasmic, isn't it?

Appreciate the price of cashews now,

'cause it was really hard.

The last time we went camping,
it lasted 24 hours, didn't it?

Yep.

I packed up everything
in a huff and a puff

and we were outta there.

OK, pour the cashew nuts in, please.

How cool is this?!

We go to Woolies
and buy cashew butter...

It's nice to see...
And this is how they do it.

Excuse me?

They won! The first!

Go, the boys!

Alright, let's go.
Good luck, everyone.

Well done, boys.

"Road Block. Who's feeling thrifty?"

I'll do it. I'll do it.

A Road Block is a challenge that
only one team member must complete,

based on a cryptic clue.

Rum is big business in the Caribbean.

And so is recycling.

Now, in this Road Block,
one member from each team

must come down to this rum distillery

and clean three cartons
of recycled rum bottles.

Using the detergent, scourers
and these bottle brushes,

teams must wash the bottles,
inside and out.

They must remove all labels and marks
in their entirety,

including the expiration date.

Once the bottles are washed
and rinsed,

they must line them up
on the drying racks.

When all 36 bottles
look just like this,

they'll receive their next clue.

It sort of smells like
my uncle's house here.

You know how everyone's
got that uncle that...

Taxi!

Which is great because you do
all the dishes at home.

I'm the cleaner -
I'm the cleaner at home, so...

So, we picked perfect.
Yes, we did.

Sir? Ready!

Here we go, nuts, nuts!

Alright! Great, girls! Great!

Yeah, yeah!
Whoo!

Yay! Thanks, mate!

Let's go.
Well done, girls.

Go for it, Gabba.

"Who's feeling thrifty?"

It's my turn. Let's do it.
You doin' it?

Judge?

Alright, I'll take that.
- Perfect!

Whoo!

"Road Block.

"Who's feeling thrifty?"

I am.

Let's go, let's go!

We walked in fourth place,
no mosquito bites.

Left...
- Second place.

40 mosquito bites.

Bloody humid.

It's humid as, yeah.

Yeah! There you go. Alright?
Frankie's reached his mark.

Everyone's finished
their... challenge.

Oh, "Road Block.
Who's feeling thrifty?"

I'm the only one, so...
it must be me. Let's go!

Keep going.
Yeah, so, it's on the right.

In here. This yellow...

Should be, yeah, right here.

OK. You got it, Mo.

Hello.

Cool!

And you clean it with that.

Get it nice and clean.

OK.

Nice and clean, babe.

Oh, man!

It was dark. We're definitely last.

Your heart sinks.

I just wanna get that flow...

Oh, that went up my nostril.

Yeah, be careful of those...

Yeah, technique's
not going too well.

They all keep breaking.

This is a bit tricky, eh?

Far out. We are so behind.

Oh, man.

It's certainly
time-consuming.

Nice.
OK. Take your time.

Take your time.
Take your time.

You do it this way.
You do it this way.

See?
Oh, beautiful.

You pulled it out.
Yeah.

Wait!
Easy.

Are we there yet?

No. Almost.

Everyone's finished their challenge.
We've had a terrible start.

We couldn't find the firewood.
That seriously cost us.

I've met my match.

One nutter to another nut,
and these ones are winning.

They are.

Toni and Heath just behind us.

Alright. Should be
just to our right.

Oh, yeah. Just here, boss.

You are now arriving.

Just like doing dishes at work.
You'll kill this.

Once you find a rhythm, get it nice
and clean. One bottle at a time.

It's our besties!
Hey, guys!

Get in there.

You scrub up well, babe.

Roadblock champion! Whoo!

It's anyone's game now.

Some labels are quite loose. Some
labels are quite stuck on there.

There's an art to cleaning a bottle.

Go, Gabba.

We had to thoroughly clean
36 bottles.

Been the dish pig before
at the cafe.

I just kept thinking, make
sure I'm soaking the label off

and the date mark off.

Scrub, scrub, scrub!

Oh, she's a machine.

You're almost there, guys.

Far out. We are so behind.

Yeah.

Good work, babe.
Well done!

Oh, shit. Is it Christmas?

Actually, New Year.

Good one, yeah!

Thank you!

Roadblock.
Ooh!

"Who's feeling thrifty?"
Oh, heavy.

You have to feel thrifty because
it's your turn to do a roadblock.

It was dark, it was hot,

there was mosquitoes
and we were definitely lost.

Maybe drive a little bit further out.
Are you serious?

Yeah, if you can just drive
this way, please.

Wash, wash, wash!

Gab, we got customers out the front.

Need bottles. Let's go.

Flicka, I've done 12, alright?

I like the lilac shorts on her.

So are you going to beat me
or am I going to beat you?

I'm going to get you in this one.

I'll get you on this one, baby.

Besties are versing!
Whoo!

Go, Gabba!

Go, Mori. Scrub, scrub, scrub.

Stuck behind a slow-as truck
for a little bit.

Oh, right here, please.

Whoo!

Let's go!

You guys got this.

Come on, Frankie.
Go, Gabba.

This is stuck.

This is really...
Gabba!

Go, Gabba! Ooh!

I think if I soak them,
it'll help me.

Wax on, wax off.

We usually have this concept of
slow and steady wins the race,

but you need to have
a bit of urgency

otherwise it sneaks away from you.

Go, Moz! Nice work, babe.

Going easy.
You're doing well!

How are yours looking?

You think it's clean when it's wet

and then it dries
and it's a bit suddy, so...

Like, it looks clean, right?
Yeah.

And you scrub your heart out
and then you see a little mark

and you're disheartened.

That's it, Gabba.

We are far behind.
Way behind.

Maybe it's our time to go home.
Who knows?

Maybe that's what it is.

I don't know. We've had
so many, like, chances.

Straight through the roundabout.

Just up here.

Yep, so just drive in.

Still got other cars here.
Yeah, right.

Oh!
Hey, guys.

Is it really hard?

It's just a lengthy process.
Oh, OK.

36 bottles?!
Yo.

Oi, no chatting to Frankie.
We're closer!

He's just going to chat
and have a bro talk

like it's just Sunday.

Don't be afraid to get wet
and dirty, man.

Just... bro, go for it.

I hope that he can catch up.

I think... you know that little
writing, the black writing there?

Make sure you get that off.

Oh, I see what you mean.

You know, the "best before" dates.
Yeah.

Oh, thanks, bro.

36, the magic number!

Oh, one bottle
for every year of your life.

Don't out me.

You're not a day over 21, Mori.
That's right.

Last push. But I just keep
taking them out one by one.

She's owning that bottle.
Scrub hard, sister!

It's neck and neck.

Ohhhh!

Whoo!
Go, go, go!

Check, please.

There you go!

Angel starts turning them
all upside down.

And I'm like, "She's wrong" - first.

That's the first thing I think.

She's wrong.
Everyone's wrong, not me.

No soap, no nothing.

What are you trying to get out?

I don't know. They're clean.
Nice and shiny, Mori.

I'm going to watch.

Heath, come and watch this lady.

Come and watch.

I did that.

She rubbed out the date
that was this tiny up the top.

And I'm like...

Did you guys not get those off?

The dates.
You didn't get the dates off?

Yeah.
Yeah, sure was.

Oh!
Get those dates off!

Didn't realise
everyone couldn't see the date.

From the first bottle saw it
and was scrubbing it off.

Check!

Well done, Gabs.
Go, Gabba!

You did well!

Yes, sis. YEAH!

Yes, sis!

Yes, sissie!

Come here.

Get the dates off, guys!

Route info.
"Make your way to the Belize Zoo."

For nearly 30 years, Belize Zoo
has championed the preservation

of the native wildlife of Belize.

Housing 48 different species
of local fauna,

they're internationally recognised
for their conservation programs.

Teams will be heading here
for the next challenge,

but first they'll need
a good night's sleep.

They'll have to negotiate their own
rooms using their leg money

and will be checking out
in the morning

in the order they check in.

We came into today coming fourth
and now we're first.

Yes.

First.
You ripper, sis.

Super, super happy.

Go, Mori, go!

Go!
Check, please.

Yes!

Thank you!

Yaaay!
Whoo!

Good work, mate.

OK.

Did we get leg money?

We didn't get leg money.

Let's get it, baby.
Go, Frankie. Go, Frankie.

Check, please!

Check, ple... Oh, sorry.

Yelling across the room.

Whoo!

Yes! Thank you.

Yoo-hoo-hoo!

Thank you! Thank you.

Oh! Mate, I'm loving these rips.

Getting better,
even when Angel's not here.

"Please find your accommodation
for the evening.

"But you must negotiate
and pay for your own room."

They're saying that we need to
get... source to our own hotel?

They haven't given us leg money yet.
Oh, my God.

It has to be in the envelope.
It must be in there.

Do you have the first one?
I didn't...

..pack it.
I didn't pack it.

Hey, babe.

So there was money in that envelope.

Alright.
Let's go.

We'll just go to the hotel first
and then we'll go from there.

We didn't know
what we were going to do.

We're gonna be sleeping
on the streets.

So... our leg money is...
We need money.

We don't know where we left it.

We put it on the floor
next to the fire.

Let's go, Jamus.

I decided to go over
and have a look at the demonstration

and then worked out straightaway

that there was a date on the bottle
that also needed to come off.

Another error that was made
when really it shouldn't have been.

So I just picked up the pace
from there.

Love your work, Heath.

Nearly there, darling.

Good work, hon.

We're not too far behind.
Doing really well.

I did really well. I was very
encouraging this round, wasn't I?

Oh, she was, yeah.

No, she actually encouraged me
heaps this round.

Happy days.
He really smashed that.

He was so fast.

Three after this one, hon.
OK.

Get it done. Come on, babe.
Check, please.

Cross your fingers, Heath!
Cross your fingers!

Thank you so much.

Thank you. Thank you.

Route Info.

"Belize Zoo is now closed.
They'll be open at nine.

"Please find accommodation
for the evening.

"You must pay for your own room."

Let's go.

Alright, babe. Two more. Let's go.

Well done. Proud of you, baby.

Jamus washed them bottles so fast.
Last one, babe.

Good work.
Love the attention to detail.

Check, please.
Yeah, good work.

Yeah!

Whoo-hoo!

Whoo-hoo!
Yeah. Thank you.

Thank you very much.

Even though we left last place,
we actually did close a bit of a gap.

We're not far
from the hotel.

I did well. By myself.

I think she'll be proud, hey,
that we haven't lost the spot.

I'm actually gutted
that she's not here.

This is what we both wanted
to do together.

If Angel's back tomorrow
by the time... before we leave,

I'm going to be stoked,
we're going to kill it.

Yeah. Here it is.

Let's get a sleep, Flick.
Yep.

Hi.

We are looking for
a room for two, please.

The room is at US¤165 plus tax.

Is there anything I can get
for ¤125?

Let me call my manager
and see what I can do for you.

Otherwise, we are on the street.

Thank you.
We'll be two seconds.

We may need you.
We might be back.

We had no money on us
and we needed to book a hotel.

I don't know if Paco needed to start
selling his body on the corner.

I mean, we might not even
get to 125,

but we'll get something close to it.

Flick. Hey, Gab.
How much money do you guys have?

We didn't get any.
It's in your first clue.

No, we don't know where it is.

We don't know where
our first clue is.

You would have seen it.
No, we haven't got it.

So we have to drive to that
fireplace and pick up the...

How do we know it's there, though?

That's the only place
we would have put it.

We have zero dollars on us.

Alright, let's go.

It was in the envelope
of the first clue,

and we lost the first clue.

Maybe just sleep in our room.

Who cares?
We're just sleeping anyway.

You guys have one single bed
and we'll share a bed.

You don't want to see anyone
on the streets for the night,

let alone your besties.

Thank you so much.
Hey, nah. Hey, enough.

Pako and Mori,
they're so bright and...

Bubbly and happy and funny.

Every day here is a blessing
when we're on this race,

so we're very lucky to share it
with two other people like-minded.

So, I'm the manager
on duty tonight.

And my name is Candra.
How can I help?

I'm looking for a place to stay
tonight, and I only have ¤125.

Normally our rate is 165,
but what we're going to do,

I'm going to have him
take your reservations

and we're going to accommodate you.
Oh, thank you.

Would there be a way that you can
squeeze us all in one room?

If you guys don't mind sharing or
pairing up for one bed, that's fine.

Yeah, that's fine.

We have double rooms, and so we can
accommodate you guys with that room.

Thank you.

Oh, it's such a relief
to have people in this competition,

like our friends Flick and Gab,

that have our back.

Hey, Team Besties.

Thank God the girls were like,
"Don't even stress about it.

"We're going to fix this."

So, I'm going to crash.
Yeah, let's crash.

Crash time.

Otherwise it would have been
last place.

We're eternally grateful.
We're just really lucky.

How much for a single?

145, but, um...

Oh, I don't have...
But we offered them on 125.

I can do the same deal.
Youse have a good night, eh?

Thank you, guys.

Walking across the border,
I was exhausted, jet-lagged,

fatigued, sunstroked.

It was just one heck of
a long day.

And also not having any
communication with Frankie,

I missed him being there.

It was a really frustrating.

Today was tough
without Angel there.

I didn't have that encouragement,
and I missed it.

I'm, like, grateful for you.

Aw!

Gonna be a lonely night tonight.

We were so relieved
because we were exhausted.

He's feeling it with his kind
of healthy body,

so my cancer-riddled body,
he's freaking out a bit.

Thank you. Goodnight.
OK, thank you.

So we really needed some sleep
just to reset

and get back into the race.

On the right here, please.

Hello.

We just need a room for
one night, please.

I am wrecked, guys.

Alright, here we are
in Flick and Gab's room.

Having a first sleepover.

Thanks, girls, for not letting us
sleep under the stars.

That's right. Here we go.

Goodnight, everyone.

See you in the morning.

It's a new day,

and teams are departing the hotel
in the order they arrived,

heading to the Belize Zoo
for their next challenge.

Tapirs are the national animal
of Belize.

Considered living fossils,

they've barely evolved in
the past 35 million years.

And to complete this challenge,
teams have to give these old fossils

a little help around the house.

After choosing a tapir and collecting
their cleaning equipment,

teams have to head
for the tapir pens.

Once they've found their pen,

they'll need to drain the tapir's
waste pool and use the brooms

to break up any faecal matter

and dislodge any waste blockages
in the drains.

Finally, they have to bleach
and scrub the waste pool

before refilling it with water.

All of this in the time it takes
for the tapir to finish its breakfast

because once it's done,
look out,

these old fossils are known
to be a little grumpy.

When the zookeeper is satisfied
with the cleaning,

they'll receive their next clue.

Oh. OK.

Hello.

Hello, mate.
We're going to Belize Zoo.

We are cleaning poo.
Yeah.

That's the girls in front of us.

If it wasn't for them,
we'll be sleeping under the stars.

That's it.

We're refreshed, galvanised...
Energised.

..Energised, and ready
to take the day on.

We're starting in second position,
so we're feeling good.

Ready to slay another day.

I'm back, baby.
Hello? Please.

I finally arrived back at the hotel
early hours in the morning.

I've literally done, like,
a 30-hour day of travelling.

Oh, here we go.

Not much sleep, but I'm here for the
second half of the challenge, so...

Thank God.

Just finish this leg strong.

I realised a whole lot yesterday.

I just missed having a teammate
as well.

I missed you as well.

Like, you know, now
you appreciate me more.

I guess you can say that.

Hi, sir.

We're going to Belize Zoo.

We're going to the zoo...
to feed an animal,

a tapir, and to clean
its shitty, shitty pen.

Let's attack today.
Let's not make any errors.

I'm glad that last night
wasn't a pit stop.

If it was a pit stop, it would
have been a very close race.

We've had this chat, we're not
going down without a fight.

Your end.

Let's look at names.

Sparks, Indy, Vegel.

I reckon that's yummier.
Indy. Yeah, yeah.

What do you reckon, that's yummiest?
Yeah.

Come on.

I got the two brooms, I got
the bleach and the blues.

Grabbed our PEPs equipment,
and we were heading to Indy's pen.

I've got gloves here.

I've got your gloves, hon.

Let's go.

How do we know where we're going?
We've just gotta find the pen.

That says jaguar.

It's a dead end. Where is this, man?

Is that Bambi?

- Is this the way we came?
- We're screwed.

Well, heading into
the Belize Exotic Zoo

where we are to clean
a tapir's pen out.

Fuego.
Where is he?

Come on, Fuego.

We chose Fuego,
which I thought meant fire.

Alright, let's just get in, get out.

Is that Fuego?

However, we couldn't find Fuego
for a while.

It was a mission
to try and find Fuego.

It's April.

What's the name of our guy? Ceibo.

Then we had to find Ceibo.
Yep.

And it was extremely
difficult to find.

There's more pens over that way.
That's why, yeah.

Let's have a look.
How do we get there?

We did so many loops.
Oh!

So many loops.

Navidad.

Come on, Navidad. Where are ya?

Oh, here. Ang.

We finally find our 'tupper'.

'Tupeer'. Tapir.

Tapir. Tapir, 'tupper' -
whatever it's called.

Oh, vegies. Yum.
Nice healthy lunch for Sparks.

Frankie just goes straight in,
pulls that plug out.

Nice. It's coming out.
That's it, that's it. Awesome. OK.

And then we just get the brooms

and we're just straight in
for the kill.

Oh! Eugh.

Disgusting.

We're like,
"Let's get back in first place."

Oh, it stinks!

Work from top to bottom.
Get it all down, and then drain.

There it is, Frankie. Look!
Oh, wow.

Hi, Sparkles!

Oh, he's eating!

Indy the tapir.

We were ready to clean
Indy's poo-poo pit.

Yeah.

"Locate the lever to drain
the waste pool and turn it in.

"It may require force."
Yep.

You got it open as much as it can?

So with our business,
we have to be hands on.

This requires a bit of grunt
and a bit of gusto.

We put our hands in. Let's get
dirty. Let's get it done.

Whatever that is doing now
is worked.

Yeah?
Yep. Keep going.

I feel it.
It's... pressure's coming out now.

Legs are in, feet are in,
we're wet, we're in the poo pool.

Oh, I broke my broom.

OK, just my luck.

Oh, well.

Down on my hands and knees
and I'm scrubbing away.

All good.

I'm just
trying to get rid of anything

that's gonna block it, alright?

If we find where that drain is,
we can keep it unblocked, OK?

So my little pigtails
were going dip, dip!

Eugh! Did you get...
your hair get wet?

I found it.
Yes.

It's here. It looks... It's empty.

That's alright. Keep scrubbing.
Yeah.

Navidad! OK.

Brooms down.

You haven't dropped a glove
Toni, have you?

No, they're all in the thing.
Yeah.

Oh, shit.

Shit.

I thought I put them inside.
I knew that they said that.

Can we... so we got to go back
and get our gloves?

Let's go, let's go.
Let's go.

Sorry, Heath.
Toni!

You said you did put 'em in.
I thought I did.

We're out.
Heath!

Ceibo! Hello!

We finally found our tapir.

We've got to get it done

within the time frame
of the animal eating.

I'm OK with crap, I guess...
Yeah.

..But it was a lot harder for Mori.

It's floating around. It's got
a pretty bad smell, as poo does.

I need you to start, Mori.

And when I looked at it,
I just started to vomit.

Entrance?

I think...
Yeah, that way.

Thank you.
Gracias.

There's no more gloves.
Because we've dropped 'em.

Tones, you said you had it.

- Hey, Sparks!
- OK, I think that's good.

Let's start using the bleach.

Don't get it on me, please.

Good work. That's it.

A bit more than that.
A bit more?

Yep.
Go, babe. You're doing really well.

You're pushing through.
Doing really well.

We can't compete
'cause we can't find the gloves.

Nah.

We said we weren't gonna go in today
and make any errors.

And the first thing we did
was make an error.

I don't know if I'll be allowed in.
You're not allowed in.

Great. Sorry, Heath. Oh!

Fuego!
Fuego!

Dark and handsome. Just like Jamus.

Jamus, do you have any spare gloves?

Oh, look at him.
He's taken the whole friggin' pile.

Guys, you've got them all!
Oh, my God. Sorry.

Jamus!

Quick!

Chelsea and Jamus rock up
and they have six gloves.

Thank you! Jamus, you owe me a glove.

Follow you. Indeed I will.

Thankfully, they had the two
right gloves and we were off.

Top down.
Oh, shit!

Just straight into the poo pond.

Oh, it stinks.

I'm glad I put new white socks on.

Oh, it just went in.

Oh, it went in my mouth!

Oh, I just got so much
in the back of my foot.

So glad we had the shower
this morning.

Fuego!

Yeah.

We'll go around the same way. OK.
Get this, it's crusted on.

OK. Oh, damn, that's a big poo-poo.

Not as bad as Cruisy's.

Cruisy takes the cake, I think.

My son takes after his daddy.

Hon, get in the water. We need to
start getting in the water.

Come on.
Is it deep?

No.

Ah, good.
Smells beautiful.

Oh, that's the go.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!

You're splashing poo on me.

Amazing! We've worked
together again as a team.

Good work, Frankie.
- Yeah, OK.

And we just smashed it.
Like, it was so easy.

Yep. He said that's good.

And we were literally out of there
and back in first place.

Yes!

Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you so much.

Nice.

"Detour - heat or beat."

A detour is a choice
between two challenges,

each with its own pros and cons.

In this Detour, teams must
choose between heat and beat.

And today, once they've arrived
at their detour,

they can't swap.

Established in 1976,

Dario's Meat Pies is without a doubt

the most popular tucker
here in Belize City,

with the line regularly
circling the block.

The pies are known for their
peppery flavour, delicious pastry

and for being so hot

they'll take several layers of skin
off the roof of your mouth.

Oh, my... Argh!

Oh, no!

Teams that choose 'heat' must eat
25 scorching hot pies between them.

Each time a pie
is retrieved from the pot,

the lid must be put back on
to keep the pies boiling hot.

Failing to do this will mean
the teams must start again from zero

with another tray
of scorching hot pies.

Once they've eaten
the piping hot pies,

they'll present the empty pot
to the judge

to receive their next clue.

Oh, my God. That's so hot.

Wow.

They've got to eat 25 of them.

Steel drums have been

the unmistakable sound
of the Caribbean since 1930.

If they choose B,
our teams have got to come here

and learn and perform
the melody of Waltzing Matilda

just like I am,

then perform it in unison
with the whole band.

Steel drums will be set up
for each team to rehearse.

Teams must read the sheet music
at the Drum Centre

and strike the corresponding note
as marked on the drum.

Once teams feel ready,
they must head to the stage

and perform the song in time
with the Steel Orchestra.

If they're unsuccessful,

teams will have to join the back
of the queue for their next attempt.

Once the bandleader is happy
with their performance,

they'll receive their next clue.

I want to do Waltzing Matilda.
OK, beat.

Alright, beat, let's go.
Let's go.

Oh, look how clean that looks.

Indy, she got the works today.

She had the full service -

plumbing, cleaning, maintenance
and... and catering.

Yay! Thank you.
Thank you.

All the bleach off, hon.

Yeah, we don't want to get
Fuego sick.

No.
Nice work.

Yes!
Thank you.

Thank you. It was a pleasure
cleaning poo for you today.

Hello, sir.
Hi, sir.

Here's your brooms.

Toni.
Yeah, it says just brooms.

Ah, you messed with us!
Oh!

That's so rude. Thank you, sir.
Come on! Quick!

Good job.

Alright, let's do with you.
Yeah. Alright, let's go.

So we're gonna do the eat 25 pies.
Yep.

Let's eat. Let's eat. Let's go.
OK, let's go. Yep. Let's go.

Well done, babe.

Nearly done with the shit.

Head that way.
Head that way?

We just had one more thing to do,

but little Ceibo
wanted to go walkabouts

'cause he had smashed his food.

He's... Inside, inside,
inside, inside.

Go, go, go, go.
Inside.

This stuff,
that's out of our control.

Alright, guys. So...

We're nearly there.

We just needed to water it,
that's it.

We could receive a penalty...
Yeah.

..Because we didn't
finish the challenge.

All we needed to do was turn a valve
and switch on the water.

And so we'll probably get
a time penalty or something.

Don't say that. Why did you put that
out there? Just don't say it.

Just... it's the game.
Now is not the time, Mori.

We had to get it done within
the time frame of the animal eating.

We don't need to brush anymore,
we just need to fill it up.

Everyone's gone.
And we're still waiting here.

Getting penalised on something
that was so out of our control.

Yeah.

Do you want me to do it?

But we figured out we could
switch on the water.

Putting my hand through the fence.

Close the valve.

Close it, turn it.

Let's go.

Yeah, let's go.

Thank you.
Thank you.

Thank you, buddy. I appreciate it.
OK, let's go.

Eating is a strength of ours.
Then let's go eat.

Go to food.

Can we please go to the pies?

Toni! Toni!

Toni!
Who is it?

Toni! Toni!

It is...
It's Jamus and Chelsea.

Jamus!

Toni! Toni! Toni!

Huh?
We're sorry.

Oh, no!
No, don't be silly, man!

He probably just saw gloves
and thought he dropped them.

Chelsea didn't realise.

Hey... blame me.
Eh?

Are you eating?! Are you eating?

I'm doing the eating!

Do you know what?! If you eat
five of my pies, you're forgiven!

OK, get in the car now.

What?

When we get to
the beach challenge,

no-one's there, it's just us.

We're in first place
and we're pumped about it.

Just gonna watch them play it.

Even though we can't
read music notes,

we both have great rhythm
and, you know, we love music.

So, did you recognise the song?

Yeah.
She does. She knows it.

Waltzing Matilda, yes.

Let's go there, Gabba.

When you see it high...

Hey, guys!
Hey.

When you see the C, is low.

There was a steel drum,

and they actually had the notes
on the drum.

And there was music notes
in the middle of the drum

for us to follow.

So all we had to do was follow the
beat and hit the parts of the drum.

I'm sure I'll pick it up.
I've done drums before.

Alright. I might have to
tie up my hair.

We chose beat today.

We're thinking, we know the song,
we know how it goes,

we've just gotta learn a little...

Three, two, one.

It was really hard
because we had the sheet music,

and you're reading it
and you need to sort of know

where on the drum the letter is.

Oh, where's the D?

And I could not look at the letter

and comprehend
where it was on the drum.

It's hard.
That's G, cool. Sorry, boss.

Let's do it.
- Three, two, one.

Sorry.

Hello.
Hola!

Thank you.
You wanna grab it? Hey, guys.

Hey, guys.
Thank you.

Thank you very much, sir.

Oh, they smell frickin' delicious!
They do!

One at a time.
They're hot.

One, two, cool.
You only eat one at a time.

Crack it open.

We got our tray of piping hot pies.

Hot, hot, hot.
And they were hot.

I burnt my finger from
just peeling the pastry.

Every time either of us
took a pie out,

you had to put the lid back on,
which was metal.

So the heat was always being
enclosed, which was a bugger.

Lid on properly, Heath. Lid on.

Oh, they're hot!

Oh! Shit.
Eat it.

Eat it.

Our method was to open up
the lid of the pie

and pour out the contents,
so that they could cool down

whilst we ate the pastries.

The pastry's so thick.
Like, how big are our bellies?

Yeah, but you've got Jamus, Chelse.
It's like having two people.

You've got the pie machine.

I'm pretty good at eating, so...
Not pretty good, very good.

Oh, actually, I'm very good, yeah.

And they were actually
little party pies.

Oh, my God.

Oh.

I just smelled shit.

What?! Oh!
Oh! Oh!

Oh! Heath!

I hope it's not on my hand.
Heath, man!

Oh, stop, I'm gonna spew.

Yeah, we're gonna go do heat. We're
gonna smash these pies. We love pies.

Oh, wait. Heat as in hot
or heat as in spicy?

The first thing I thought
was, like, spicy food.

Oh, God, I didn't even
think of that.

So do you want to change? We have to
turn around and go that way.

Let's just do it.
Sorry. We're going back.

Sorry.
We've lost so much time.

It's alright, babe.
Everything's all good.

If we're gonna come last, I'd rather
go out having fun with a beat,

than the full belly of 25 pies.

Yeah.

So let's go have fun.
That's it.

Three, two, one.

And it was four whole verses.

Sorry. So, alright, ready?

You learn one, then you've got
to learn three more.

And I'm not a drummer,
you're not a drummer.

No.
We're having a bit of an issue here.

Close enough.

Start again.
Three, two, one, go.

C-C-C.

Three, two, one.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

Why did we choose this?

Three, two, one.
No.

I was really struggling
with this challenge

from the beginning.

You know, all this travel
when I literally

just got in from Mexico,
and I'm exhausted.

And the annoying thing
about this detour

was we could not swap detours.

We had to stick with it.

Oh, shit! Wrong one!

Excuse me.

Come on, baby, eat.
I am. Give me a second.

Stop being like your mother!
I'm one ahead of ya!

Come on, eat.

How many have you guys done?

We've done 12.
How many have you done?

Five. No, four.

Six.
He doesn't...

I don't know.

Guys, guys, you gotta...
Lid closed.

Guys, lid closed.
You've gotta close your lid.

You've gotta close your lid.
You've gotta keep the heat in.

Oh.

We had a serious setback.

"You can only take
one pie from the tray.

"You must place the lid
back on the tray."

Didn't read the clue properly,
which is not a first for us.

"You'll be given a whole
new tray of pies to eat."

We left the lid off the tray.

After eating 14 or 15 pies...

I have to take this - the new one.

Thank you.

..We had to collect
a new tray of 25.

Bring me that bucket, please.

You'd think by now
we'd follow a clue.

We're shocking at it, eh?

My body feels like it is
oozing meat pies.

Fast-forward to all the latest
"can't miss" extras, interviews

And then treble...

G, G, F, G, A.

With the steel drum challenge,

there was music notes in the middle
of the drum for us to follow,

so it was all lettered out.

It was, like, A, B, C, D - all of it.

Wait, stop. We got it wrong.

It was actually harder
than it looked.

We realised that
after we chose the detour,

that we had to
read the music notes.

We can't read music.

Can you listen to make sure
we're doing the same thing?
Yeah.

And now we could not swap detours.
Mm.

Yep, three, two, one.

A, C, BÐA-G
G-G, F, A, C, B-A-G, G-G, F.

Good job.

We're really close, Flick, alright?
Yeah. I reckon...

You wanna just give it a go?

I'm happy.
Alright.

Oh, the girls are going to perform.

Do yo wanna go? Yeah? Let's go.

Alright.
- Thank you.

Oh, mate!

Yep. Three, two, one.

I stuffed up there, but it's 'cause
I got the wrong thing.

You got this.

Oh...!

We're just off. We're just off.

The worst part of the challenge
was eating pies.

We'd be done if we listened to...

If we read our instructions,
we'd be done.

Once again.

It's not going down the hole!

The first five
I thoroughly enjoyed.

Like, I'm like, "This is easy!"

And the more we ate,

the more it was, like,
sitting in your oesophagus.

Come on, baba.

Oh, man! That's disgusting.

Ugh! I wanna cry again on TV.
You are NOT gonna cry.

And vomit.

And shit myself.

Ugh.

So, we got to the Waltzing Matilda
drum challenge last.

Yep.

So we needed to get this done.
Yeah.

Time is of the essence.
Mm.

We've been in this type
of position before.

We've been in the back,
we've clawed our way back,

so now's the time
to put in the work.

You got it, girl. You got it, girl.
Let's go!

You got it, girl. We're ready.

Oh, sorry.

The challenge was really hard.

This challenge was
the hardest challenge so far.

It's alright, we've got it.

Just tap lightly.

Oh, I got it wrong.
Oh, what?

It's OK.

I was struggling.

I was so tired and just so fatigue
and jet lag and everything,

and I just couldn't pick things up.

Like, I just wasn't as sharp
as what I usually am.

We have no idea what's
happening at the other challenge.

We don't know how quick or slow
they were gonna be with that.

So, get it done, grin and bear it.

Come on. Three each.

You can do it.
Uh-huh.

Chow down.

Like it's the best Sunday roast
you've ever had.

Oh...

I had a massive breakfast
this morning, eh.

Well, Jamus ate no breakfast.

Oh, my God!

Come on, Heathy. Come on.

Get your face and...

Mine's cleaner.

Let's go. It's all good.

Let's go.

Thank you so much. Thank you.
Whoo!

Thank you.
Let's go!

How did you guys do that?!

So, we finished
and then, next thing we know,

Jamus and Chelsea had finished too,

and they had probably
10 more pies than us.

Thank you so much! Thank you!

We ate 39 pies in total.

"Make your way
to Baron Bliss Lighthouse

"to find Beau at the pitstop.

"Hurry! The last team
may be eliminated." Let's go!

Henry Edward Ernest Victor Bliss,
commonly known as Baron Bliss,

was a British-born traveller
and avid sailor

who, on a five-year journey
around the Caribbean,

fell in love with the stunning
coastline of Belize.

He's widely celebrated in Belize
for his philanthropy

after creating
a ¤2 million trust in 1926

for coastal infrastructure
of the fledgling nation.

The trust is still in use today.

He was laid to rest here under this
lighthouse named in his honour,

where he continues to admire
the Belize City harbour.

So I think it's the perfect location
for the pitstop

for the 13th leg
of The Amazing Race Australia.

Let's go!

- You guys have good luck!
- Thank you.

I noticed that Toni and Heath ran

in the complete
opposite direction to us.

Baron Bliss Lighthouse?

Go that way. Go that way...
Thank you.

Come on!

And normally what we would
always do is follow the pack.

But I said to Jamus, not today.

Head down that way.

Awesome! You're the best!

Yep! Let's go!
Thank you very much!

We asked a local.

He pointed the opposite direction
to the way that Toni and Heath ran,

and we just went for it.

Toni, I can't run.
Babe, we're gonna have to.

Toni, Chelsea and Jamus
aren't even behind us yet.

Babe, I don't care! Come on!

One foot in front of the other, hun!

I don't want to stop
while my momentum's going.

It's the pies!

Yeah, but hey, I ate pies too!

One foot in front of the other.

Shut up!

That's the whole song.
You're so good, babe.

I'm so sorry I'm letting you down.

So, Mori was getting
really frustrated

so I was trying
to just tell him, like,

you make a little mistake,
just camp it up!

Ooh! This is tricky!

Just like, "Oh, yeah! Oh!
I got this! Whoo-whoo-whoo!"

Yeah!

So...

Oh, dun, da, da.

Yep, read the letters.
I can't. I lose them.

Read them.
I just can't.

Just read them.
Stay with the letter you're on.

Alright? Three, two, one.

See? I just can't.

You've got it, Flick.
Trust yourself. It's alright.

Hey, you're not gonna get it
like this.

I know.
No, stop.

You can! Don't say you...
I can't read it, and find it.

It's too hard!
Stop. Stop.

It's alright.
I just can't get it!

Flick! Flick, hey, come here.
It's alright.

I know, I know, I know.
No, don't.

Everyone else will be going
through the same thing, OK?

It just, I can't
see the letter and get it.

Yeah! Yeah!
I don't have it in me.

You've gotta... It's alright.

I just feel stupid.
No, don't. Stop.

Don't cry. Don't cry.
I can't see it when I do it.

It's alright. Relax.
It's honestly too hard.

We're not doing it till you relax.

I'm relaxed.

Flick, relax.
We're not doing it till you relax.

I'm relaxed.
We're not...

No, we're not doing it
till you relax.

No, I want to do it now.
No.

Being sisters is an advantage

because we know how to change
each other's mentality.

Alright, we're going to have a go.

Give each other that push you need
to fight through.

I've lost it.
Sorry. I'm so nervous.

This detour was really tricky.

Really tricky.

Sorry, I got so nervous.

Nah, why be nervous for?
We're just doing it...

Instead of doing it there,
you're doing it here with backup.

Yeah.
It's hard.

You're standing up
in front of a crowd.

There's the band behind ya.

OK. I know I've lost... lost...

No, you haven't. You haven't.
Because what... what do you do?

You're methological.
Read the letters. Tap the letters.

You're starting to stress out.

"Oh, my God, how did that go again?"

Just followed the letters, bro.

Follow the letters.

Just keep tapping. Keep doing it.

Alright?
Pray for us.

Just off.

Like, Frankie had worked so hard
without me,

and I don't want to let him down.

Sorry.

Ah. We're just off. We're just off.

Belize! Welcome to Belize!
Belize!

Hey, where's
the Baron Bliss Lighthouse?

Make a right.
Thank you.

Where's the lighthouse?

Thank you so much.
Just round the corner?

Thank you.

Jamus and Chelsea finish?
They were just behind us.

There's a lighthouse just there.
Where?

There.
There it is. Is that a lighthouse?

Just there.
Yeah. Let's go.

Yeah, see the flag.

Come on.
I am. I'm going.

Here they are. Here they are.

Come on, honey.

Come on. Come on.

- They're there.
- Shit. Shit, there it is.

Yeah, come on, let's go.

Keep going. We've got to beat them.

- Come on. Come on, come on.
- Come on!

Come on, honey.

They're catching up. Let's go!

Oh, man.

They're coming round now.

Wow.

Good work, guys!

Welcome to Belize.

This is Bernardo.

He is the mayor of Belize.

Welcome again to Belize.
We are glad to have you.

Beautiful country.

Chelsea and Jamus,

you are the first team to check in.

Whaa! Let's go, baby!

Toni and Heath, you are
the second team to arrive.

Yes!

Let's go, Heathy!

Chelsea and Jamus,
they've just won

a Tasmanian Tarkine
Cradle Mountain Explorer trip,

where you'll discover
the natural beauty of Tasmania

hiking the untamed Cradle coastline.

Ahh!
Valued at ¤9,500.

Thanks to Intrepid.

Thank you!

Oh, no words, like, honestly.

We have wanted to hit first
for a very long time

and we finally did it today.

Congratulations, guys.

All four of you are one step closer
to winning

the biggest prize in
Amazing Race Australian history,

¤250,000 cash,

and an Isuzu D-MAX
and an Isuzu MU-X.

Yeah, I want that ute.
I want that money.

I'm really proud of you guys.
You work well together.

Yeah, we do.
We do.

I love these guys, hey.

You do know what's at stake, though?

We do.
We do.

Could change your life.
Yeah.

I know how much the money
means to you guys.

It'd let us see my family
every year

for as long as I've got.

It would get them to us. Yeah.
What it's for.

Alright, well, just keep that in the
back of your mind each time you race.

Super proud of you guys. You were
down and out and you're back.

You guys are the gift
that just keep on giving.

So, congratulations. Well done.

I'll see you soon.
- Thanks, mate.
- Cheers.

Go and have a shower...
- And a pie?

I haven't eaten for days!

I think I've got this.

Mori...
- I'm going to support.

But you can watch me.
And I think I got this.

Alright.

Whoo!

Oh.

Whoo!

Thank you. That was cool.

Get 'em, boys. Get 'em, boys.
Good work, boys.

I got the rhythm.

Thank you! Thank you so much.

I appreciate it.
We've got to get our bags.

We were in there last
and out of there first.

"Make your way
to the Baron Bliss Lighthouse

"to find Beau at the next Pit Stop."

Let's go.
"Hurry. The last team to arrive
may be eliminated."

Got our clue. Flick and Gab were
performing straight after us.

And then Frankie and Angel
were going up to perform.

So, like, this was
the make-or-break moment.

Yeah.

The girls go up
to get their judging,

and we have to wait
while they're getting judged.

As bad as it sounds, I'm like,
"Please get it wrong."

Yay!

We finally got it.
Thank you so much.

Thank you so much.

Gabby and Flick get their clue,
and I'm like, "Oh, jeez... #

Now we're in last place.

We just need to
get this one right.

Quick, quick, quick, quick.

I'm nervous.

Calm... Calmed down a bit

Because I know Angel and Frankie
are behind us.

"Make your way
to the Baron Bliss Lighthouse

"to find Beau at the Pit Stop.

"Hurry. The last team to arrive
may be eliminated." Let's go.

Yay!

Yes. Thank you.

Gotta go.
We've got to get to this Pit Stop.

Just go straight.
Are you sure?

Yeah.

Good job, guys.
- Thank you.

And this is where
the real race started.

Come on, babe. Come on, babe.

We've got to go that way.

Ange, Main Road. Ange, Main Road.

It's a race to the Pit Stop.

Don't stop. Just do.

Come on. Come on.

Come on. We've got to run.
Yeah, yeah.

I need you to boost it.

Come on, Ange.

Lighthouse? Lighthouse?

Can we go this way?

Around? Thank you.

It's really nervous knowing
that we have

a little bit of a gap on the others

because Frankie and Angel are guns.

And so are Flick and Gab.
Yeah.

You got this, babe.

So we got to get there first.
Yeah.

How far?

Lighthouse? Lighthouse?

Thank you.

Pako and Mori are just ahead of us,

and Angel and Frankie
are behind us.

We've got to run. Yeah.

We've got to just keep going.
You don't know where this end is.

Go.
Just get there as quick as we can.

Hurry up. Let's go.

We are running in this hot sun.

We cannot see the lighthouse.

We see Gabby and Flick
and we just put on the gas.

Let's go.

We are just gunning
for that finish line.

Lighthouse? Lighthouse?
Lighthouse.

Thank you.

Where is it?

Just follow them.
He just told them.

We keep looking back.

Gabby and Flick
are literally right behind us.

5, 10 metres behind us.

Let's go.

Please, Jesus, just get us there.
Get us over that finish line.

It's the voice.

Go.
They're coming.

Think it's Frankie.
Think it's Frankie.

They're running. Let's go.

Let's cross the road, babe. Come on.

That orange just kept on getting
closer and closer.

So we're just like...

We've got to make it to the mat.

Come on. They're right behind us,
Ange.

It's got to be over there.

It's there, babe. It's just here!

Come on.

Come on, babe.

We're not giving up.

I'm dead.

Angel and Frankie,
about 20 seconds ahead.

I need to check the bag.
No, you hold it.

We're nearly there.

We do have the fight in us,
so we just kept running.

Oh, here they are.

We could say Beau. Thank God!

Come on. We did it.

Welcome to Belize!

Thank you. Thank you.

Pako and Mori, you are...

..third team to check in.

Yes!
Still alive.

Whoo!

We're still here.
Well done, boys.

Bring it in.
Thank you.

You got it, Gabba.
We're nearly there.

We're nearly there.

You can do it.

One, two, three.

Oh!
Welcome to Belize.

Angel and Frankie,
you are the fourth team to check in,

and you're still in the race.

Welcome to Belize.

Thank you.
Welcome.

Flick and Gabby...

..you are the last team
to check in...

..by 25 seconds.

And you are eliminated.

Come here. Come here. Come here.

That's alright.

Breathe. Breathe.

Obviously, today's a hard day.

But you girls can hold your heads
high.

Yeah.
Yeah. It's all good.

25 seconds.
Yeah.

25 seconds.
Well run. Well run.

Yeah. It's alright.
Can't do anything about it.

But that's the way
The Amazing Race goes.

One small moment
can cost you everything.

That's it.

Home time.
Home time.

Alright? Good job.

We tried our hardest.

We're proud of ourselves.

I couldn't have done this
with anyone else.

No way.
No-one else.

Breathe. We go home now.
I know. It's fine.

It's good.

We definitely could have been
in that final.

We were top three most...
most of the race.

I think we rocked it.

I was really proud of us both. Yeah.

What are you upset for?
Should be proud of yourself, bro.

Next time on
The Amazing Race Australia...

..above ancient Mayan ruins...

..four teams return...

It was really nice to see
some familiar faces.

..And things get dirty.

This is old-school
student punishment.

But one tiny problem...

Tarantula! Ahhh!

..Stops teams in their tracks.
