I know in African societies,

art and ritual are related

and that, um, ritual objects

are actually art objects.

In terms of understanding
what ritual is,

I can only say that, for me,
ritual is a symbolic action,

um, that I've dealt with
in terms of

my own internal state

to help me release myself

and move from one
space in time to another.
