Some old friends of Tess' show up with a lease on a café and plan to take Tess with them. Jody sneaks some of the drugs one of the visitors brought. Tess longs for someone to ask her to stay, but Claire is afraid that Tess will hate her if she interferes with Tess' dream.

I miss our cafe in OD.

- Seven cafes on the trough.

- Seven plates of tiramisu.

- I thought that was only Simon.

- [Briony] Oh, I love lattes.

- How could you even look at a coffee

after seven of them.

- That's true.

Sometimes we need to give up caffeine.

- Yep, sometimes for a whole two hours.

- Your house must have been full on.

- [Briony] Yeah, we had lots of parties.

- [Simon] Big wars with he landlady.

- [Together] Pet axolotls are
forbidden under the lease.

- [Meg] Who did the cooking?

- All of us all the time.

- We should all be size 18.

- I really like the fish, I've never had

it done like that before.

- Well, Meg helped.

- Oh, I just peeled the garlic

and you kicked me out of the kitchen.

- Well, last time I made fish it was.

- Let me guess, fingers.

- [Together] And peas and mash.

- [Simon] It's comfort food, it's great.

You should think about that
for the cafe menu Tess.

- [Briony] I've done the draft menu.

- Cafe?

- Briony and Simon are opening one.

- Alex and I, it's been a few weeks.

over the quarter horses and she's already

tied up with Brave Jay.

I'm doing a lot more these days.

running the catering arm

and we're starting to
branch into special events.

That's a new start for us.

And I've been thinking you had a point

about the quarter horses, they eat up time

and since you're such a big
part of Drover's Run now,

it'd be a shame.

and you're running off to the city.

Yeah, it's gonna be tough on us.
