Three junior high school girls, Hikaru
Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki and Fuu Hououji
have been summoned by Princess
Emeraude to become the Magic Knights
and save an alternate
world called Cephiro.
After waking the Rune God Selece, Hikaru
and her companions continued their journey
in search of the two
remaining Rune Gods.
While traveling, Umi and Fuu were
captured by a mysterious monster of light.
Hikaru was forced to
fight the monster alone.
She managed to
defeat the beast, thereby
continuing to keep the
dream in their hearts alive,
in the hope that the three girls will
ultimately become the Magic Knights.
