what's happened and where?

So, this room right here,

this is where my husband
and I sleep.

This is the
Cornelius Crocker bedroom.

It's named after the man
who built this house.

BERRY:
The building was constructed
in 1754 by the Crocker family,

one of the most prominent
families

in pre-Colonial Massachusetts.

Originally a stagecoach stop
and tavern,

it was converted
into a museum in 1927,

only to become a residential
home in the late 1990s.

A few months after Kate moved in
and began making renovations,

the terrifying activity started.

my son in a Pack 'n Play

Then, a few nights later,

I hear somebody
going up the stairs,

...and she was a widow.

Her husband died
after they were married

for just
a couple of years.

Do you know if she passed
