happens in the house.

Nobody ever lived here
for any length of time.

because everything is fine.

because you're afraid
of your bedroom.

Among the idyllic streets

and rolling fields
of america's heartland,

something evil lurks
in the shadows

of these close-knit communities.

I know because I grew up here
and witnessed the fear

these hauntings caused
firsthand.

now, as a paranormal
investigator

and documentary filmmaker,

I've made it my mission
to travel the heartland

and bring resolution
to the living and the dead.

It's a pretty quiet town.
I was raised here.

I just enjoy
the smallness of it.

Hebron has always been
a little town.



It was actually established
in 1854 around the church.

And it looks like the town

kind of grew up
a little bit around it.

People usually tend to
stay here when they come in,

so it's like everyone here
still knows everyone.

Once you're born here,
it's just like you stay here.

If you move here, you stay here.

There is a lot of
paranormal activity in hebron.

Lot of creepy old buildings.

There's stuff that goes on there

that you don't want
to be a part of.

The whole area is
teeming with activity.

One home in particular
is haunted.

I've always been drawn
to this house.

It reminds me kind of the house

that I was raised in with my mom
and my dad when I was little.

I actually grew up around here.

I've lived here my whole life.

It seemed like the house
was always for rent.

Nobody ever lived here
for any length of time.

When we first moved
in the house,

things actually were happy,

but then about three weeks
later, I got attacked.

Only got worse from there.

Things started happening
to me physically,

being scratched or pinched
or my hair pulled.

I am worried about her safety.

I felt helpless in not being
able to do anything about it.

If we can't get
something figured out,

it's just going
to keep escalating.

I think that there is
a obsession

between the house and myself.

I can't explain it.

So I'm here in hebron, kentucky.

I'm here to help
allison and tony,

who live in a house
that has a malicious entity

that's actually attacking
their family.

Yes. We actually rent
from the church

right next door to us
is where we rent from,

and every three months, it
seemed to be going up for rent.

Well, finally one time, I was
looking for a home to live,

and this one just happened
to be there,

so I finally got to rent it.

Why do you think it was
continuously coming up vacant?

Nobody could actually tell me,

but also my daughter
had went to school

with somebody who lived
in the house,

and they know that that kid,
after three months, they fled,

and he wouldn't tell
my daughter why

and he would never
talk about it.

- Really?
- Yeah.

And you said
the word "fled."

they left at night, yeah.

Wow.

I look out the window
and I see a cemetery.

- Correct.
- Yeah.

That was like a joke
for us that, you know,

having the graveyard behind us,

that you know the neighbors
aren't going to bother us.

It's going to be quiet.

Well, we learned that that's
actually not the case at all.

Would you mind
taking me out there?

Yeah.

One evening around 8:30
at night, it was getting dark,

and I'd actually seen two kids
running around and playing

hide and go seek around that
black headstone right there.

I went out on the back porch
and actually was watching

the kids...
one looked like a little girl

and one looked like
a little boy.

It looked like the boy was a
little bit older than the girl,

perhaps just because
he was a little bit taller.

I was actually frustrated
and aggravated

because these kids running
around that late at night

and they shouldn't have been.

So he called me back in
the house, and I looked again,

and there were
no kids out there.

But I know what I seen
at the time.

I know what I seen.

All right. You guys want to
show me the rest of the house?

Yeah.

when did the activity start?
How soon after...

moving in on day one.

- Moving in?
- Moving boxes into the home.

My daughter, we were coming up
the sidewalk holding boxes,

and she asked me
who the man was in the basement.

Best way I can describe
it is it looked like lincoln...

a very tall man, the hat
that he was wearing...

and her and I could both see him

through the window
in the basement.

For me, it's just always
been audible stuff.

It's very weird.

What I hear and never
really see anything.

Was in the basement, heard
the back door open and close.

That's happened
a couple of times.

- Could you show me the basement?
- Yes.

Yeah.

So I was telling you,

when we first moved in,
my daughter and I,

we were walking up the sidewalk
just right outside this window.

And so you have to imagine how
tall he is if I could see him.

Right.

And this is where
he was standing.

In this area is where
he was standing.

And you and your daughter
were looking right here

through this window?
- Correct. This is one of those

that everybody is creeped out
by the basement.

This wall here,

the cemetery's
right on the other side here?

Okay.

The original plot that
this land sits on,

the cemetery portion was given
to the church.

- Where...

- My stomach.

- No, my stomach's on fire.
- Yeah?

Really bad.

this is like an infinity symbol.

- Yeah.
- Right here. This just happened.

I mean, you can see
it's still raising right now.

It's not even red yet.

Maybe we should get
out of this basement.

- Yeah, that's a good idea.

Seeing an attack happen like
that right in front of our eyes,

to me, that's malevolence and
possibly something truly evil.

Whatever's in this house
wants us out of here

and not to help her.
Are you okay?

It hurts.
I'm trying to catch my breath.

I get physically attacked.

I got scratched on the neck.

I got scratched
on the chest, stomach...

But the worst one I remember

is that I got slit here
and it started bleeding.

And it actually drew blood?

Yes.

What happened in that instance?

I was enjoying an evening
with friends.

In the middle of a conversation,
I had a friend,

her pointed out the fact
that my head was bleeding.

So now everybody's
watching my hands.

Like, you can see
that it's not me,

and I actually had
my head cut open

and actually be bleeding.

Clearly, she's scared
at that point

and there was nothing
I could do.

I didn't know what to do.

The only time, really,
I get scratched or touched,

it's when outsiders come in.

I almost feel like
whoever this is that's here

doesn't want to share me.

So, I'm afraid that,
when I get scratched,

that's just the beginning.

why do you think this house
has so much activity?

We couldn't figure out why.
We had no idea why.

Well, then, one day,
he was standing there,

and I walked up to him
and I said,

"why does this keep going on?"

as I looked down,
I see these marks in the floor.

Yeah, there's
a huge discoloration.

- Yeah.
- Yeah.

That happens to be somebody

who was actually murdered
in the home.

so a murder happened in...

- yes.
- Right here?

Right here.

I am in hebron, kentucky,

where a violent entity
has been wreaking havoc

on allison
and her boyfriend, tony.

While trying to determine
the cause of the problem,

the couple just revealed
the home's dark past

and the horrifying evidence
that still remains.

That happens to be somebody

who was actually murdered
in the home.

so a murder happened in...

It was a husband and wife.
He actually beat her to death.

- Yeah.
- He killed her.

This is where she
actually died is here.

And the people that you were
renting it

from didn't disclose this?
- No, they did not.

- Unh-unh.

And literally didn't even
remove the carpet.

- Nope.

Hearing that a murder
took place right here

in this home honestly
has me super worried.

Tragedies like
that don't just leave stains

on the carpet and on the walls,

but it leaves a spiritual
stain on the home,

the family, the land,
and even the entire town.

So let me ask you this.

Have you experienced activity
anywhere else?

She has a pretty hard time
in the bedroom.

Yeah. I don't like
sleeping in the bedroom.

we don't sleep in our bedroom.

That's where
all the darkness is.

I usually don't talk about it.

I can't explain
how horrifying it is...

...To not want to lay
in bed at night

with your own man side by side

because you're afraid
of your bedroom,

and you want to fall asleep
on the couch every night.

that's pretty sad.

So it's usually in the ceiling,

and it's complete dark at night,

and these things,
it's almost like a smoke.

It kind of like billows.
It kind of rolls.

And it's literally darker
than the dark.

And I would watch them
move in the ceiling,

and I would think,
"this is all in my head."

that is a big, like,
darker than dark

kind of a shadow that would
just hover in the bedroom.

Tony would be asleep,

and I would feel it
and not want to wake him up,

because at one point,
you're thinking you're crazy.

I remember one night
laying in bed.

I was looking around,
I hit my mirror,

and in my mirror,

I could see a man
standing at the end of my bed.

This was a shorter,
heavier-set, thick black...

and I mean thick black...
that stood at the end of my bed.

I felt the man had me pinned
by my shoulders to the bed

and he actually had...
I could feel his ankles...

or his feet
wrapped around my ankles.

I had my face
turned to the right.

I was actually staring at tony.

I was just screaming over
and over again to help me.

I believe that he is
trying to kill me.

I wasn't coming back from that.

this sounds like
there's something else here

that is dangerous.

You said "aggravated"?
Does this happen a lot?

Those types of things would
happen, and it would escalate.

One time in particular, I said,

you know,
"I have to walk away."

I'm telling her
this to her face,

"I have to walk away because
we're both so escalated

that I feel like
I'm ready to do something

that I wouldn't normally do,

so I have to walk away
from here right now."

I don't know.
Well...

Okay, I'm going to
get out of here.

This is... I mean,
it's just not acceptable.

I mean, you can't live this way.

We're going to get
to the bottom of this.

after touring the home and
talking with tony and allison,

hearing all
the different accounts,

it's not just the physical
attacks that has me concerned,

but the wedge
it's driving between them,

trying to isolate
and control allison.

Could it be the cemetery
causing the activity?

Could it be the murder?
Who really knows?

We need to start investigating

and searching for answers
right away.

That master bedroom is where
it really goes after her,

and it's even choked her.

I know it's
a little bit dangerous,

but as urgent as this case is,

I want to get her
in that same spot

and get all the gear I have,
throw everything we can at this,

and try to see what the hell
is doing this to her.

now, the master bedroom,

I know it's a difficult place
for you to be.

You don't even like
sleeping there, but we know

that it's also one of the most
active rooms in the house.

And the only way that I think
that we can really identify

that spirit in the house
and find out who it is,

what it is, why it's here,
is if we lure it out.

I have a slew of gear in there,
cameras in every direction.

sit on the bed,

where a local woman

is being attacked
in her own home.

In the midst
of our investigation,

allison suddenly feels
another attack coming on.

Chills over my entire body.

it's not pain.
I don't feel pain.

Everything just feels
like ice right now.

Allison,
it might be time that we...

'cause I think it's time

I've definitely concluded
what I needed to.

I think right now, tony,
it's more of a safety issue.

after concluding
that experiment,

I mean, there's no question
that, as soon as she started

bringing up
the activity in the home,

talking about the events
that have happened here,

it came out in full force.
We caught it on our meters.

I'm very concerned for her.
We know that there is

some type of an attachment,
but what and whom?

That's the question.
And with all the other reports

of multiple spirits
in the house,

we have to keep investigating.
We have to know.

I think what I'd like to do
right now

is call upon
one of my colleagues,

a gentleman by the name
of td mcroy.

I've used him
on a few different cases.

He has a technology
that he's developed

that basically enhances shadow
and filters with light

to try to see things that we
cannot see with our human eye.

If we can try to find out
what's in that house,

of course, that's the only way
we can truly help allison.

Where we're standing right now
is the scene

of a very horrific murder
that happened in this house.

In this very room.

In fact,
this is the same carpet.

bloodstained from a murder?

Blood splatter, and you can
see where they tried to wipe it.

When you run that footage,

it's really going to be
interesting to see what you see.

Or how many things you see.

I want to head into town and
follow up on a couple of leads

to figure out
if anyone in hebron

knows what's happening
in this house and why.

The one house that they
all talk about in this town

they call the murder house.

To me that is the most
horrific thing that has happened

in this county,
that I can ever remember.

There's also an old
creepy graveyard around there,

as well,
next to the murder house.

My advice would be
to stay away from there.

There's stuff that goes on there

that you don't want
to be a part of.

It seems that everybody
in this town

knows about the house,

and of course the horrific
murder that happened there,

but nobody has any real details
as to what happened that night.

But I've tracked down
the attorney, and I'm going

to go speak with him
to learn more about the case.

I really appreciate you taking

with this situation.

I'm trying to get
an understanding

of exactly what happened
in the house.

It was a Thursday night.

My client and his wife
went out to dinner.

He came home.
She came home separately.

I think that there was
some altercation

where she came after him,
at some point,

and that she attacked him
with a kitchen knife.

They began to argue, and in
the midst of that argument,

he bludgeoned her
with the window weight,

which ultimately
caused her death.

I don't think he meant to do it.
That's my opinion.

I don't think he ever wanted
to hurt his wife.

They'd been married a long time.

When I spoke with both the sons
separately, on the phone,

they were surprised at what
had occurred to their mom

and that it was their dad.

So it wasn't in his character
to be anything like that

from what everybody's saying.

Right. And I don't think
he ever wanted her to die

or hurt her in any way.

He was very remorseful
about the situation.

Is it possible, do you think

he would be willing
to interview with us?

And do you think that whatever
prison system he was in

would even grant us permission
to try to speak to him?

So, my client was transferred
to the department of corrections

in kentucky, down in la grange,
is where he was housed.

And unfortunately,
he's passed away.

So he's dead.

Yes. He died in prison
shortly after he was sentenced.

If what mr. Fox
is saying is true

and the couple had
no previous altercations

or domestic violence history,

what really transpired
to make these two turn

on each other, ending in murder?

I just keep coming back
to the fact

that nobody ever stays
in this house.

It's always up for rent.
No tenants ever stay here.

Everyone's warning me
not to go to the home,

stay away from the house.
It really makes you wonder

if something could have been
in this home

or on this land
before the murder happened.

so apparently allison
is really freaking out.

I need to get back
to that house right away.

Tony said allison is ready

the entire investigation.

And, honestly, if that happens,
the results could be disastrous.

They've made it very clear
that they don't want

the whole crew in there.

We're just going to have to
go there and play it by ear,

because quite frankly,

has become violent.

After we got to town,

allison started having
drastic personality shifts.

And, right now, I'm seeing
a completely different person

than the one I met
the night before.

and how conflicted he is
with the whole situation.

seeing the way this case
has escalated

has me extremely concerned.

What the hell is going on
in that house?

People have fled the home, a man
murdered his wife in the home,

and now allison
is at her breaking point.

I need to get to the bottom
of this

before something
even worse happens.

I need to get the history
on the home

and even the land
before the home was built.

So over here is
the local history section,

and this is where we also do
all of our research.

Wow. So you've got maps,
and all kinds of documents.

These are from 1883,
they're the atlas maps.

And it tells us
who the property owners were

during that time period.

And from there,
we can research the property.

So we can do a, basically,
a genealogy for a property.

Were you able
to find anything about

allison and tony's home
specifically?

We know about the murder
that happened there.

Is there anything else
you found out about the house

or the land around it?

So there has been some turmoil,

historically, on the property

during the civil war,
through that area.

Boone county, because it was
a slave-holding county

in a slave-holding state
on the border of the ohio river,

you had a lot of conflict
locally.

Some families
were for the north,

some families fought
for the confederacy.

You literally had brother
fighting against brother here.

So, you had a lot of conflict
going on.

And then, in 1955, there was
an extremely tragic situation

that happened pretty
much adjacent to the house.

There was a midair collision
from a plane

that was taking off
from the airport,

and a small plane
flew into the flight path.

And all 15 people died
between the two vehicles.

15 people died.

That's correct.

Finding out about
all the tragedies,

the sudden deaths,
even the plane crash

associated with the footprint
of that home,

it's no wonder there's a powder
keg of disturbing activity

taking place.

on investigating

around the property, so I'm

so it's very possible that
there could have been graves

that were moved or graves
that are still there

that are just unmarked.

who lives in the home.

While investigating the property
around the house,

a voice just came through
one of our devices

that has me very concerned.

this is a real ominous feeling,
