Along the edges
of the great salt lake

lies a mystery,

one that has spanned
more than a century.

It's caused misfortune,
disaster,

and even death.

For years, I've tried
to silence these screams,

but now, more than ever,

the echoes of its past
are reaching out to me,

and I can no longer refuse
their calling.

Someone needs to stop Clearway Law.

Guys, we've been
to salt lake city before



but we've never actually been

on salt lake.

When you walk out here,

you just get the feeling
of pure isolation.

And these waters,

they're mysterious.

Not a lot can survive
in these waters.

We're at a location...

That's the third version...

Of what it originally was,
the saltair.

It's a venue
that hosts music concerts

and things like that.

But they're having real
struggles,

'cause the people
that work here,



they don't know
whether they're interacting

with people that are alive
or dead.

There are things in this world

that we will never
fully understand.

Understand.

We want answers.

We have worked years
to build our credibility,

our reputation.

Working alongside
the most renowned

professionals in the field,

capturing groundbreaking
proof of the paranormal.

In 1893, the saltair pavilion

was constructed
along the southern shore

of the great salt lake.

This massive entertainment
complex drew thousands

and was often referred to

as the coney island of the west.

But since its inception,

the saltair was infected
with a curse

as it was scarred
by three fires,

the last of which, in 1970,

ultimately burned the famed
venue to the ground.

But before that tragedy,

it was immortalized in the 1962

cult horror classic,
carnival of souls.

And to this day,

all that remains is a grave site

of original pylons,

marking where
the iconic resort once stood.

Then in the 1980s,

the curse resurfaced
when a newly-constructed

third attempt at the saltair

was suddenly flooded
by the great salt lake

rendering it uninhabitable
for nearly two decades,

when it was said
to have been ground zero

for dark ritualistic practices.

Today, this building
known as the great saltair

is now a 4,600-capacity
concert venue.

And while it's laid dormant
due to the covid-19 pandemic,

the ground it's anchored to
is still troubled.

We're here to see
if the recent claims

of spiritual activity
and attacks

are reverberations
of the saltair's past

or a new chapter of this curse

as it harbors an energy
that's laid dormant,

gestating,
and ready to strike again.

to find her killer.

But unfortunately
the case of saltair sally

wasn't an isolated incident.

I always baseline
myself out when walking

into a location
for the first time,

and I know the aggression
I just felt

was not my own.

That was a weird feeling.

I'm actually having

like residual feelings
from just that in there.

This feeling on my arm
feels like poison ivy.

The red marks are faint
but they are visible

and forming.

these painful marks

through four layers of clothing.

And as quickly as it began,

the burning sensation
suddenly stops.

So it's no coincidence
that at the same moment,

jay notices something around me.

kind of anomaly
just drift away from you

As we pursue this anomaly

into the women's bathroom.

that begins to trigger
something inside of me.

that sounded like a child's cry,

jay mentions an old legend
that's associated

with the great salt lake.

There's this whole myth

about these little creatures

called water babies.

And people go up to them
'cause they think

it's a little kid crying

and they lure you out
into the water

and then you die.

We now head to the
saltair's grand staircase,

which was the site
of a very serious incident

that was captured on video

and involves someone we know.

you will notice how big
his eyes are

and something
is affecting him very badly.

and then I tumbled down.

As if what happened to vincent

isn't horrifying enough,

we're shocked to learn

this type of attack
appears to represent

a hostile pattern
of highly-charged

poltergeist activity
at the saltair.

I was helping another group
with the tour

and we were up
on the third floor

and we were coming down.

And there was one girl
that was with us.

She had been provoking.

And I actually saw her leg
get kicked out

from underneath her
and forcibly kicked

and pushed down the stairs.

of energy around us,

inland body of water

to a multitude of hauntings.

and myself and his son john

were out here doing
some cleaning,
and we all heard

what sounded
like children laughing.

Two children actually, a female

and a male,
like five, six years old.

Inside or outside?

Inside the building.

So we opened the doors
and went out

and take a look around
and there was nobody here.

Like nobody at all.

It's an ancient legend.

that disguises itself

as little children,

and they lure you to the lake

and then they allegedly
drown you.

from their investigation

It almost appears to be a skull.

I think this is interesting.

I can't conclude

that these are eyes
forming in a mist

because there is some
blotchy wood behind the mist

so we could be matrixing
some eyes.

What happened next is
we went downstairs

on the second level

and we turned the polterpod on.

How many spirits are here

to start our investigation

of the saltair.

But before we head inside,

I decide to send jay
on a solo mission.

As you can see, right here,
this is a wagon.

But if you look at the wheels,
'those are off-road wheels.

That's because jay is going to
take this cart

all the way to the shores
of salt lake,

which is a little over
a half a mile

to get to the shore.

And it's pitch darkness.

So you're gonna go there
and investigate.

But you're gonna be alone
and you're gonna be

very far from us.

And there's nothing out there.

It's very dangerous, okay?

Call us on the walkie

if you have an
emergency situation.

As jay makes his long journey

straight into absolute darkness,

we will make sure
to keep a close eye on him

while keeping radio contact

as we now make our way
inside the building.

It's over here now.

We immediately start hearing
loud noises

coming from this ceiling

and begin trying to figure out

what is causing it.

- I heard distinct footsteps...

The director of security
told me that ghosts,

they're in the rafters.

While we are hearing this,

we can't confirm that
it's paranormal.

As this could also be
the thermal heat

from the sun now expanding
and contracting the roof

with the nighttime cold,

but it does sound very creepy.

Okay. So right now,
I am walking up

the very stairs
where vincent was violently,

he says, was pushed down
these stairs.

The footage is disturbing.

He could have broke his neck.

He could have gotten paralyzed
or even killed.

Now I'm not just saying that.

And then the guys,
aaron and billy,

captured a voice saying vincent.

It's pitch black except

but the saltair is
way out there.

In salt lake,
the water has receded back.

This is all salt
that's left over.

Night vision now.

It's just me, the lake,

and stories of ancient entities,

creatures, curses,

all kinds of things
that they say haunt this lake

and the area around it.

They find bodies on this beach.

And a lot of times
they have no idea why.

It's very mysterious.

So as I walk up these stairs,

I'd like you to come here
because we're told that

you don't like when people
go to that level.

breathy-type snarl sound

that to me sounds like it says,

on billy's camera.

All of us begin to feel
very panicky.

The energy in the air is
so thick and disturbing

that it feels as if
there's a bunch of people

around us closing in
but we can't see them.

I feel like
all three of us are almost

a little too terrified
to even move.

That's the energy of this place.

It's like we're surrounded.

to see if we can get a visual

of what we are sensing
and hearing.

So because we can feel
these energies around us

and we're kind of
scared to walk,

we don't wanna get
pushed down the stairs,

we're using this xls camera
which uses lidar,

and it also use
infrared 3d mapping.

So we're gonna
scan this whole area up here.

I just wanna go back

I felt an immense energy

I captured something
extremely interesting

on the xls.

As I am shooting
into the mirror,

this floating anomaly
passes right in front of me.

Whoa.

And shows itself
only in the mirror.

It almost appears to be
a floating head.

The xls is even
mapping this anomaly to be

round in shape.

No one was near me
as both billy and aaron

were outside the door
when this was captured,

eliminating the possibility
that it was them.

This was very remarkable.

I was standing still
when something

just moved behind me
like a mass.

We begin to navigate deeper
into these rooms.

And as we reached one
that we were told

was marilyn manson's
old green room,

aaron begins to feel uneasy,

but we think that
this could also be caused

by these loud
power transformer boxes.

that are shrouded in legends,

he finally reaches the water
and begins recording audio

billy, aaron, and myself

head to the third floor
where we captured this

incredible unknown figure
walk by the circular window

during our interviews.

This is like the ultra-vip.

That we saw something
pass over us.

One of the most coolest

and the most terrifying
pieces of footage

I've ever seen us capture.

It was right here.

All of a sudden the device
seems to be thrown

from the catwalk doorway.

The device was secure
and had been stationed there

for quite some time.

We can't however prove
this was paranormal.

As billy sets up an xcam

where the device
just unexplainably

seem to have been pushed out
on to the ground,

watch this strange-shaped
mist-like anomaly

shoot towards the camera.

Then watch as it seems to
spiral around the tripod

and appears to grip the handle.

When we slow it down,

it does seem to resemble
a hand or a mitten.

Back at our basecamp,
we get a call from jay.

This is zak. Go, jay.

So they said there's nothing
in this lake, right?

There's like little shrimp.

That's the only thing
that lives in here?

Yeah. The only thing
that lives in there is

tiny brine shrimp.

That's it. No fish, no animals.

I saw something big as hell
come out at the water

and go back in...

- What?
- ...A couple times.

I flipped the thermal around
to try to grab it.

I didn't get it. I saw it.

I don't know if I caught it
on a camera possibly

but there is something big
jumping around in the water.

No joke.

You can kind of see
there's the moon.

There's a little glisten
of the moonlight on the water.

That's where I saw
whatever it was jumping out.

So I have parabolic mic
that's shooting that way.

That's recording.

I also have ir binoculars.

Wanna set it up on that spot.

Come on. Jump out again please.

I'm trying regular vision.

I'm trying night vision.

I wanna capture this again.

I don't know what the hell
that was.

Jay uses all of his equipment

trying to document
what he saw in the water

with his own eyes

but he's unable
to capture anything.

So the question is even though

he didn't capture visual
evidence of what he saw,

what made this splashing sound

that he captured
on his parabolic microphone

in a lake that only contains
tiny brine shrimp?

Right now we're on kind of
this big back patio

on the second floor
of the saltair

facing the lake.

And you could see
towards the lake,

it's just black.

There's nothing.

So about three quarters
of a mile that way

is the shoreline,
and that's where jay is.

And we just wanna see if
we could make

eye contact with jay right now

'cause I'm a little worried
about him.

So point over there.

See if you could see his lights.
