Ghost Adventures (2008–…): Season 21, Episode 11 - Benson Grist Mill - full transcript

Zak Bagans and the crew travel to Utah to investigate a 150-year-old grist mill haunted by shadow figures, poltergeist activity and an angry male presence. The guys are overwhelmed by the property's dark energy as they attempt to ...

Brigham Young, President

of the IDS Mormon Church.

Under his direction,

his people built this.

The Benson Grist Mill,
in Stansbury Park, Utah.

Very, very old place,
over 150 years old.

And what's interesting about
Brigham Young is

his beliefs in the whole spirit
world are very similar to mine.

He believed that upon death,

the spirit and the physical
body separate,

and from then, the spirit
can enter into paradise

or into spiritual prison.

And it's very ironic
that his mill

is also the site

of hauntings at a very,
very high level...

That the employees here

fear being here
alone at night.

And there's a very negative dark
entity here that likes to scare children.

And speaking of children,

the very water that still runs
through the mill today,

was responsible
for the drowning

of a little girl.

There are things in this world,
that we'll never fully understand.

Understand.

We want answers.

We have worked years
to build our credibility...

Our reputation...

Working alongside the most
renowned professionals in the field...

Capturing groundbreaking
proof of the paranormal.

- It's working, whoa!
- I can't give you an explanation.

This is our evidence,
our ghost adventures.

Episode Title: "Benson Grist Mill
Aired on: April 23, 2021

All right, guys, so...

I think this is the first time that
we've ever investigated a mill.

It is.

Bunch of old buildings.

Why they got wheels
around them?

Everywhere, these little
water wheels.

What does that do?

That's... The water powers
the wheel.

And then it powers the mill,
to grind all this stuff.

- Like flour or grain?
- Yeah, like flour.

What about candy corn?

No, that's candy, that's just
made out of candy.

Where is the gift shop?

That's the hunt I'm on,
you guys are about the ghost,

I'm about the gift shop.

All right, you want to
talk about the mill?

Yeah, so let's talk about
the history.

In 1854,

under the orders of church
president, Brigham Young.

Latter day saints apostle,
Ezra t. Benson,

completed construction
of the Benson grist mill,

which served as
a foundational anchor

for the pioneer settlers
of this region.

Since the 1940s,
this mill sat abandoned...

Until 1983,
when a restoration began

that ultimately transformed
these grounds

into a historic site.

But recently, there has been an
alarming spike in paranormal activity,

which has been affecting those
who work and visit here.

With more than 150 years of
volatile history on this land,

that started with struggle of
the mormon settlers

and the native Americans who
occupied it before them.

This entire complex is haunted

and our challenge is to
figure out who,

or what is responsible for
the terror here.

I think I found it.

I think that's
somebody's house.

- Oh, hi!
- Oh, hello.

There is somebody here.

Quick question, I'm looking
for the gift shop.

Do you have a gift shop?

- You do?
- Told ya!

Yeah!

Oh, you have a country store.

oh, my god.

I used to own that TV.

Aaron, what are you, like...

- This is so cool.
- What is this energy that have?

He's all over the place.

Look, he's, like...
He's, like, all...

- Geeking out over a TV.
- This was my television.

As a kid, this was the one
I watched every day.

- I used to play super Nintendo on that thing.
- Oh.

So... Hey, let's sit down,
just you know, gosh...

Just sit there
and look at the TV.

Okay.

- Don't...
- We can play a video for you.

Yeah, yeah, that'll keep him busy...

...For 20 minutes, so we can
do this interview.

Not plugged in apparently.

So, tell me about
this mill,

because a really
interesting thing is...

Is while we're here,

we're having some laughs
and stuff like that,

people don't know that
there's some really, really,

really, like, big-time
hauntings going on in this place.

A lot of people feel
different energies.

- Yeah.
- And we've had people have to leave the mill.

By this middle cabin,
the foreside cabin,

a lot of people have...

It's like an auditory, like it's
ringing in their ears and stuff.

On the bridge going across
the water to the school house,

several groups have seen...

They call him an Indian,
a taller...

Dark shadow.

A lot of people see a lady in a white
dress on the second floor of the mill.

And a bunch see
a guy all in white.

And that's what
the Miller would've worn.

Was there a little girl,
that drowned in the mill pond?

- Yes. Yes.
- So, that is a fact?

The story of Young
Alice Irene Solomon is perhaps

the most tragic death
at the Benson Grist Mill.

On August 19th, 1920,
after not returning home,

her mother feared the worst.

And a search party scoured
the surrounding area

in an attempt to find her.

Ultimately, her body was discovered
and retrieved in a nearby reservoir.

And most disturbing,
the young girl had drowned

in the very body of water
that fed and powered the mill.

And a century later, that
reservoir, now known as mill pond,

still flows beneath
the Benson Grist Mill...

...Which continues
to infuse her presence here,

while also amplifying all aspects of
spiritual energy throughout these grounds.

- Some people do come here and hunt for spirits?
- Yeah.

So, we used to have, like, one or two groups
a year, but this year we've had a ton.

But yeah, the past like
five, ten years,

it's gotten a lot busier.

To better understand what's
caused this recent uptick in activity,

we prepare to interview some
fellow investigators.

But strangely, once again...

Hold on, come here.
Roll the camera.

...Aaron's focus
is somewhere else.

See?
Country souvenir store.

What are you doing?

- Souvenir store.
- What?

Are you really serious
about this?

This guy... Billy! Bill!

I knew it.
There's a gift store.

- Yes.
- Aaron!

Zak wants you, bro...

There really is a damn
country store.

We're trying to do interviews.

Just need to find one of...

Yes, coffee mug.

- Aaron, we've got people waiting.
- Yeah.

We gotta
start interviewing people.

I need this extra camera.

- We can wait a minute.
- And she's feeding into it...

Oh, candy, baby, yeah!

- See, guys?
- All right, hurry up, get it over with.

I give up.

Since Aaron seems to be
overcome by this child-like behavior,

we find it only appropriate to
send him to the schoolhouse...

To speak with
a fellow investigator.

Ah, so, it's this white
building right here,

and the little kids
for whatever reason,

they're either super spooky or
they're super curious looking for you.

Who knows this building is ground
zero for the activity of children here.

So, like, we taught in here and
we actually have people coming here

and just sitting here
and we'd teach about,

you know, paranormal stuff
and...

- We've had chalk thrown at us.
- Wow.

Everybody's in their seats,
suddenly chalk would fly up

at the front of
the schoolhouse

since, like, they were afraid
of the teacher.

There used to be
a bunch of books,

like, any kind of like,
teachers materials,

like, we used to have it all set up
on this desk, and they'd get aggro...

The ghosts or the spirits,
you touch the books,

and it seems like
they were protective of it.

Yeah, and, like, one minute
you'd see little...

It felt like people were
watching through the windows.

Out here, it seems there was
quite a bit of activity

outside the building
or while you're in,

so I again I think it's just
that curiosity of the spirits...

- Yeah.
- ...Wanting to know what was going on.

Is this young Alice,

the little girl who drowned
in the mill pond?

It would make sense that
she is the one causing

all of these disturbances
in the schoolhouse.

As we continue to connect
the dots,

we meet up with someone who
believes he had an experience

with an angry male spirit
in the booth barn.

But as we enter the space, there
is an unnatural shift in the energy

that's impossible to ignore.

- It's weird once I got in here I feel... Yeah.
- Do you feel it?

What were you feeling
when you got in here?

Uh, just, like, almost
sick to your stomach,

and, like, nauseous
and just a negative energy.

There really is a very
different feeling in here.

What is it from?

I feel like it's a mal presence
in here that just doesn't

want anyone in here.

What is that up there?

Looks like a...
A shrine almost.

Yeah, a lot of times
when we come in here

and investigate at night,
you can see a shadow figure.

It'll be just something black,
moving back and forth.

Did you feel negativity to
where you felt anger or anything?

Just anger, sickness to your
stomach, just agitated,

like you wanna just
punch some... You know.

- You feeling it now?
- A little bit.

I'm feeling that, too.

This barn was built
by hiram e. Booth in 1875.

Could the oppressive entity felt here be
the unrested spirit of its original owner,

who died over a century ago?

There's someone in here?
Is this your place?

I feel real... Just wobbly.

I got dizzy.

Is it possible that the
entity Brett has felt here before

is now affecting both of us?

If so, this pattern
of influence

indicates that something dark is
nesting within the loft of this barn.

Yeah what is this,
do you not feel anything?

Yeah, I feel... I feel
heaviness, definitely.

- Yeah, like you...
- And when you just said,

"I feel like
I'm gonna throw up,"

like, I was just sitting here thinking
like, "I just wanna get the... Out of here,"

you know, what I'm saying?
Like, I really do.

With Aaron's demeanor
now completely changed,

I feel whatever is inside here may
start affecting the rest of our crew,

so it's time to get out.

And this is really
the only place here,

like, on this whole property
where you feel this.

Wonder why?

I just feel like it's someone
that doesn't want anyone in here.

With some physical
and spiritual separation from

the oppressive darkness,
experienced inside booth barn,

we prepare to investigate
the Benson grist mill.

And with the water from mill pond
still flowing beneath this structure,

we suspect this 150-year-old
colossal trigger object

is acting as a beacon
to the spirits

who once relied on it
for their survival.

Okay, right now, I am
actually inside the mill,

this is the original mill.

- So, uh, what's your name?
- Zack.

- No that, I was asking what your name is.
- Oh, Zack.

Um, I know my name for the
cameras, what is your name?

Zack.

Can I... Can I help? Zack,
this is Zak. Zak, this is Zack.

- Oh, your name is Zack?
- My name is Zack, too.

- It's spelled with a "ck" not the "k". It's not as cool.
- Okay.

Zack, where did you
have experience?

- Um, my experience was actually down in the basement.
- Let's go down there.

- Holy cow, look at this!
- Yeah, it just keeps going down.

- Jeez!
- Mm-hmm. This is a lot of the original equipment.

Imagine this, all of this stuff that
we're looking at right now was in operation

before the civil war!

Oh, my gosh, look at how far
that goes down, you guys.

- Look here, there's water!
- There's still water.

You can see water
at the very bottom.

Yes, it's like flowing
underneath of us.

This discovery confirms this is
the same water fed from mill pond,

which took young
Alice's life...

And is another major factor contributing to
the high level of activity experienced here.

So, Zack, what happened
to you down here?

Um, so I was down here
doing a solo session.

And I had a spirit box and I was
seeing if I can contact anybody

'cause I've heard that people
have seen things upstairs.

A mother and a child,
about four or five, came to visit the mill.

And she tracked me down
about 15 minutes later

and she said,
"is the big mill haunted?"

And I said, "we do have ghost
hunters, who come,

and they say they have seen
things in the mill."

And so, I was doing
my spirit box session,

and I was hearing footsteps
walking right above us.

And she said, "I was
on the first floor

and my son wandered
up to the second floor.

And he came back down
and said,

"that big man up there
scared me."

By the door, there was a guy
in a black, like, outfit,

and had heavy boots on and
he just walked up those stairs.

What did he describe?

A large man, dressed in black,
and he was older.

And so, she went upstairs and
looked all over the second floor

and she could never
find anyone.

And I followed him up the stairs
and he was nowhere to be found.

I just had this weird, like,
intense energy come down.

Was the energy threatening?

It was more of like, yeah,

I needed to get out of here,
like, it wasn't welcoming.

Let's peek around and
see if we can detect anything.

Are we welcome in here?

As the air thickens around us,

something I have intimate knowledge of
suddenly rushes to the forefront of my mind.

And this glimmer of information
will aid us in our investigation.

Now, Aaron, let me tell
you about turbines,

- 'cause I know all about them, okay?
- Okay.

Early in the 19th century,
the water wheel

inspired the development of
what proved to be its successor,

the water turbine.

So in this design, a head of
water was shunted through a pipe

- containing curved guide blades, yeah.
- Yeah.

In 1872, a turbine replaced
the water wheel.

Hmm, wow, how did
you remember all that?

That's really impressive.

I did some turbine studies
when I was in community college.

Or, you can just read.

- I was like, "damn, he's pretty smart!"
- get out of here, Jay!

How else does he know
about these wheels?

- I was like, "dude, this guy's smart", but no.
- Learning something.

In this moment of humor, we've
unintentionally let our guard down

as something is about to
snap us back

into the seriousness of
our investigation.

- I gotta give you some points, Aaron.
- Why?

I was... I thought I was
wrong. What was that?

- I heard that.
- I don't know, it sounded like a man.

- I gotta give you some points, Aaron.
- Why?

I was I thought I was wrong.
What was that?

I was I thought I was wrong.
What was that?

Could this jarring voice just
heard by all of us in broad daylight...

Be the same male entity witnessed
by Zack and others here inside the mill?

It sounded like it came
from downstairs.

And with so much spiritual
energy either trapped or harnessed

within the original natural fibers
of this old wooden structure...

Can you go down there
with Aaron and do a quick session?

Yeah.

We're gonna stay silent.

I send Aaron and Zack
back down to the basement...

While the rest of us clear the
mill to avoid any contamination.

Okay, all right
we're settled?

Good, okay.

Hey, we just heard you. We were leaving,
it sounded to me like that you go, "hey!"

Are you the man that I saw?
Do you not want us in your mill?

We're gonna come back at night
and start playing with all the gadgets

and handles and...
Is that all right?

Was I right when I walked
outside and mentioned

the fact that I think you guys
made candy corn?

but it isn't until
Aaron reviews the recorder...

Whoa.

...That he discovers
something which could indicate

that this entity may be
targeting him directly.

Whoa, whoa, listen, listen.

I hear "hi, Aaron,"
and then something.

- That's a full sentence.
- Yeah.

We're gonna have to get that on
the computer, we gotta give this to bill.

Because Aaron is unsure
if this EVP is a spirit voice,

he wants us to examine it
further, but Billy and I

suspect that it may be caused
by some unintentional shuffling.

So, we will leave
it inconclusive.

However, we all know that whatever
made that disembodied man's voice,

was heard by everyone,
including our interviewee.

I was I thought I was wrong.
What was that?

- I heard that.
- I don't know, it sounded like a man.

And as the sun sets,

we begin to prepare for
a very large scale

investigation covering
multiple buildings.

We have a real tactical-style
approach to our investigation tonight.

And we need to lay out
some ground rules here

- and map out where exactly we're gonna be going, okay?
- Okay.

So, the Benson grist mill,
this is the big boy.

Before we start there,

you guys did visit
the schoolhouse.

We have some trigger objects, we
have a board game and a stuffed animal.

I kinda of want to observe it,
in its natural habitat.

- Yeah.
- Use those trigger objects and see if the little girl

that died in the mill pond
will interact with those items.

- Good idea.
- Now, our big buildings. We have the booth barn...

The booth barn is the darkest,
the scariest and the worst energy.

And for that reason, Jay, I want
you going there tonight by yourself.

- We're gonna lock you inside.
- Yeah!

- That's the worst spot, though.
- Yeah, I know.

So we're gonna lock
you in there, Jay,

I wanna do that as an
experiment. And finally,

the main building,
the Benson grist mill.

I would like for us to stay
together, Aaron, Billy and Zak.

This building has many
different layers,

but the thing about this building
is, it goes down multiple levels.

And at the very bottom of
the Benson grist mill...

- Water?
- ...Is water.

Water is very important,
because why, Mr. Aaron goodwin?

It's a conductor
of spiritual energy.

Okay, so this, to have this at the
bottom of the building fuels the spirits.

Let's get ready.
One, two, three,

- Benson grist mill!
- Benson grist mill! Hoorah.

Okay, so what we're gonna do
to start our lockdown investigation,

because this is so big,

there's little segmented things
that we need to do, in order.

So, the first thing we're gonna do is,
we're gonna head over to the schoolhouse.

And there have been reports of
poltergeist activity in that building.

So I wanna see if we can make
contact with the little girl that died

in August 1920, named Alice.

She drowned in the mill pond
right over here, by the mill.

And she's the spirit, the
little girl, the little child spirit,

that's said to haunt
the property.

So, because
it's a schoolhouse,

I'm sure that's where
she would want to go.

As we make our way
to the schoolhouse

we were also told earlier, that
Alice likes to throw pieces of chalk.

- We've had chalk thrown at us.
- Wow.

Everybody's in their seats, all of
a sudden chalk would fly up here

at the front
of the schoolhouse.

As we arrive
at the schoolhouse,

I try to call upon her spirit by letting
her know that class is in session.

As I enter, I set up a
stuffed bunny

and a game of checkers in
hopes that Alice will move them.

Okay, so we've got our motion
sensor here, number three.

That's aimed in
this direction.

Alice, we've set some stuff up
for you.

We have some game here, where
you can move these little pieces around.

It's checkers.

Okay, all you got to do is move
a piece here, I'm gonna go first.

- And now you gotta go.
- Did you hear that behind you?

- No.
- Did you hear that?

- What'd you hear?
- I heard like the wood creaking, back behind you.

Like someone was taking a
step. You weren't moving, right?

- No.
- Your feet were still.

That's why I was like,
"what is that?"

I didn't hear, I'm sitting
right by the door, I didn't hear nothing.

I swear there was some
creaking right behind you.

This will let me know that
you're in here.

What?

- What're you doing?
- **** The hell?

I heard that sound, I looked over and
saw a dude just standing right there.

- What?
- He saw it too now.

Aaron claims he saw
someone standing outside in this area.

So I immediately have the guys set
up some infrared motion trap cameras,

to see if this is
a real person.

- Whoa, look at the fishing pole.
- Roll cam, roll cam.

- It's stuck in the wood.
- Wait, did you see this when we crossed?

Not particularly, no, no.

I see something here,
and I looked over...

- Did you see this when we just crossed this bridge?
- No, no.

- This was not here.
- Why would that be there?

Who or what put this
strange stick on a bridge

that is known to be haunted
by a native American spirit.

As you can see from the
footage, we did not see or capture

this stick here
when we crossed earlier.

We now head to the barn, where
I will lock Jay inside alone.

Okay, Jay.

Time to lock you
in the booth barn.

Hiram e. Booth built this barn
in grantsville in 1875.

So, Jay, this is a negative, the
most negative area on the property.

This is where people get...
They fear to go inside here.

There is an angry old male
presence in here.

This is when we switch
and send Aaron in, right?

- It doesn't really lock, right?
- Yeah, it locks, watch out.

How does it feel?
That we're not in there?

Very nice.

With Jay locked
inside the barn,

we set up additional x-cams in
another old cabin, the loom building

and the Benson grist mill, where we
are heading right now to investigate.

Okay, right now we
are in the Benson grist mill.

Building over 150 years old,
all original.

Hello?

whoa, whoa, when you
said that, the other side of

the building just went, "boom,
boom." did you hear that?

It sounded like the
other side of this building

goes "boom, boom"
after you said hello.

- Not like us, it was like...
- It is an old building.

And that's just us
walking around.

- It's noisy.
- Yeah, true.

All right, so I'm here
all by myself in the barn.

It's gonna be my home
for the night.

Can you tell me
whose barn this is?

- Family.
- It says family.

Yeah, this was a family barn,
that's right.

Starting to run the ovilus and
the only thing that came through

was when I asked,
"whose barn is this?"

And it said, "family."

It's kinda interesting, 'cause
this was the booth family barn.

This was a family barn, so that's
an intelligent response right there

Back at the mill,
Aaron, Billy and myself start

heading down into
the basement.

Where you can see the water
directly beneath us.

The same water source that is
connected to the drowning of little Alice.

- Do you see it?
- Oh, yeah.

Yep, I can see it
sparkling with my infrared light.

Hold on.

- No way.
- What?

I heard the door...
Listen.

- You guys didn't hear that?
- No, I can't see ****.

But I heard what sounded like
a door creak open.

That's why I told you
guys to be quiet.

And I can't see anything,
I just see pitch black.

Then I turn this on and that
door's cracked open a little bit.

- You guys didn't hear that?
- No, I can't see ****.

But I heard what sounded like
a door creak open.

That's why I told you
guys to be quiet.

And I can't see anything,
I just see pitch black.

Then I turn this on, and that
door's cracked open a little bit.

I hear what sounds
like a door creak open,

and if you listen very closely, you
can actually hear the door open slightly.

Which is very hard to move,
due to the friction on the ground...

Which we debunk as not being
caused by any type of wind draft.

Yep, I can see it sparkling
with my infrared light.

Infrared light.

Hold on.

- What leads there?
- I don't know.

oh, this is like
a hole, it's basically unsafe.

Hello? Is there anybody
down here?

I thought I heard something
over here, behind you.

- Whoa, what was that?
- Yeah, what was that?

- I heard that one.
- That wasn't you?

I thought I heard something
over here, behind you.

Behind you.

- Woah, what was that?
- Yeah, what was that?

Hello?

Make a noise if you're here...
What was that?

What?

There's something that just
glowed over there, like blueish-green.

I still see it.

- You guys?
- Yeah, what?

There was a bluish-green,
like, a glow over there

- I heard something...
- I know, but I'm getting it.

Now it's cold here but I...
Can you feel this?

It just got more icy
cold here.

- Yeah.
- Feel me, feel my jacket.

I'm telling you dude,
it got icy-cold around me.

I now go to
the exact spot

where I saw this bluish-green glow
materialize in absolute darkness.

And I begin using my digital
recorder to see if this was a spirit.

Will you talk to me?

Did I see you over here?

What are you making here?

Who do you work for?

As I review the
recording, we hear a class a EVP

that is absolutely incredible.

Will you talk to me?

Bicycle.

- What was that?
- Bicycle, it sounded like bicycle.

- Who the **** is that?
- I don't know.

- Bicycle.
- Bicycle.

Oh, my god. What is that?

- That's plain as day, "bicycle."
- bro, are you kidding me?

Listen, listen.

- There's so much tone in that.
- It's like a regular voice saying bicycle.

He said it.- ****

- are you kidding me?
- Whoa, what's that?

- "Bicycle." there's a little accent.
- Yeah.

- Yeah, yeah.
- Heard that.

That's probably the best
class a EVP

- I've ever heard on recording.
- I know.

listen, it sounds
exactly like someone saying it.

Okay, but there's an accent
to it.

here, bicycle.

He goes, "bicycle."

We want to show everyone
that when we capture this class a EVP,

there was complete silence
and none of us were talking.

Will you talk to me?

Back at the barn,
Jay does an EVP session

but doesn't capture
any voices.

Can you tell me what year
this barn was built?

Something in here has affected
people in a negative way.

Do you live
around this property?

I didn't notice anything.

He now sets up
these dice as trigger objects

and captures an unexplained
cold air mass on his thermal sensor.

Can you come over here
and sit on this stool?

whoa, whoa, why is it...

Are you here?

So he starts to
provoke the negative entity.

If you're really that tough,
then do something.

Knock these blocks over,
right here.

Show me that.

Should be easy.

Should be so easy for you.

Jay hears a very loud and incredible
stomping sound right next to him,

which is also captured
on the camera's audio.

This causes Jay to fall back out of
his chair, hitting the ground very hard.

****

****

I was sitting there, I heard
a stomp right next to me

and I felt the floorboards
shake, I jumped back.

And I got caught up
in the folding chair.

Holy ****.

Still in shock over
the class a EVP of "bicycle",

- Oh, my god.
- Plain as day.

We now try to get more
proof of this spirit.

Taking still photos, it's a
still camera with thermal.

Why did you say 'bicycle'?
Sir?

We heard you,
and that was very clear.

That was very,
very impressive.

Ready to go back to the area, where
Zack saw that guy, might be the same guy

that just told us 'bicycle'.

By the door, there was a guy
in a, like, black outfit.

Sir, what is the
meaning of 'bicycle'?

Can you make a noise or something,
direct us to where we need to go...

To give us another clue.

Are you trying to give us a clue
by saying the word, 'bicycle'?

And maybe are you stealing the
energy from Aaron's battery, draining it?

Is that what you use to give
that amazing EVP?

You know
what I just thought of?

When I turned my back,
it was at that door

that Zak had heard open...

- That's when I had full power.
- Yeah.

- Exactly.
- Standing there, we started hearing stuff.

It all kind of led up... so
it used half of your battery?

I'm just speculating.

no, not half, 75%.

That's just weird, Zak.

That it drained three quarters of
his battery, then you got that EVP.

Did the spirit use Aaron's
battery to gain enough energy to clearly

speak the word 'bicycle'?

I now send Aaron back to
base camp to get a new battery.

And while Billy and I
are downstairs,

we capture something on the
x camera shooting the stairs

leading to the basement.

Watch as this mist-like mass

that's the height
of a tall man,

seems to glide across
the room.

Is this the spirit that
said 'bicycle'?

This is an amazing capture
of visual evidence.

okay, so, right now,
I'm going to use this device,

it's called a dasanc

which is basically
an sp7 spirit box.

Quite a device here and it has
an audio-spectrum display.

But it also has an adjustable
noise-control filter on it.

So basically I can tune this
device here

where I can try to eliminate all the
other feedback, the 'shh, shh' sounds.

So I'm going to activate
the device here.

You can hear that on.

I'm going to hit this next
button about once or twice.

Five, six, seven, eight,
nine, ten, eleven, twelve.

- What was that?
- I don't know.

we capture a male voice that to
us, sounds like he's saying, "help me."

Nine, ten, eleven, twelve.

- What was that?
- I don't know.

can you tell us again what you
want? What did you tell us over there...

That you want?

Why'd you say 'bicycle'?

- What?
- "I was thinking about... I was thinking about it."

What did he say?

It sounded like he said,
"I was thinking about it."

Why'd you say 'bicycle'?

- What?
- "I was thinking about... I was thinking about it."

You can hear there's
nothing coming through.

And we just got a man's voice.

Whoa! Aaron?

Okay, that's Aaron.

Can you tell us what you
want? What you said over there?

- Sounds like a little kid.
- Yeah, didn't it?

This is chilling. A little kid's
voice clearly comes through the device.

Can you tell us what you
want? What you said over there?

- Sounds like a little kid.
- Yeah, didn't it?

Could the spirt of Alice,
who drowned in the mill pond,

be communicating with us?

Now it's just gone quiet.

- Totally quiet.
- You could see, it's just a flat line here, you see that?

Yeah.

- Nothing's coming through anymore.
- What do you think that?

Did you just touch me?

- No.
- You didn't just touch me?

- I felt this just now, like that.
- Really?

And I was like, what are you
touching me for, you didn't touch me?

That camera would see, it literally
went like that, right here on my arm.

- Right.
- Oh, my god.

That was creepy, man.

This is
extremely compelling,

the moment Billy feels something
touch him, watch this x-cam

as a strange-shaped
mist-like anomaly

manifests behind him
at the same exact time.

Did you just touch me?

- No.
- You didn't just touch me?

Jay to Zak, sorry Zak to Jay.

Zak to Jay.

Jay isn't
responding to me.

Jay, come in.

I got... I'm hurt.

Jay, are you okay?

The guys and I
head back to the main floor.

And as I'm conducting another
EVP session, we all hear a loud noise.

I'm getting really weird
vibes all around me, right...

What the **** was that? Did you
hear that ****? Did you hear that?

- It was that way.
- Okay. Okay.

I felt something, like...
I just felt something around me

and the floor shifted
behind me.

What was the noise?

I don't know, I'm
going to turn my light on.

- You heard that?
- Yes, I did.

At the same exact
time that this happens,

we capture a light anomaly, on the
wooden post directly beneath Billy's feet.

Weird vibes all
around me...

You are?

What was that?

We decide to leave our
x-cameras rolling in the mill

while we go back to the schoolhouse
to check on our trigger objects.

It appears nothing has moved.

So Aaron uses a new
communication portal device

and captures an absolutely
chilling message.

We want to hear
your voice.

Who's the female
who just was talking?

Huh?

Whoa! They'll kill me?

Alittle girl's voice clearly comes
through and says, "they'll kill me."

Who's the female who just
was talking?

Huh?

Whoa.

Sweetie, what's your name?

we are extremely disturbed
and baffled as to whether this

is the spirit of little Alice

who haunts these grounds
from a drowning.

Why would she be telling
us that they will kill her?

And who are they?

It is heartbreaking to
hear this

and we hope that we brought
some comfort to her by

speaking directly to her,
bringing her some toys and games

and letting her know
that she is not alone.

Over all, our investigation here
provided solid proof of the hauntings,

from the class a EVP...

- Oh, my god. Plain as day!
- What is that?

...To the mist-like figure,

the connection of physical
touch with light anomalies...

Jay's encounter with an
aggressive spirit in the barn.

****

**** Ow!

But although I'm excited
for this evidence,

I will never get that one
voice out of my mind,

which is extremely concerning.

whoa!
