I am driving down a road
in the middle of nowhere

and thankfully my navigation
is still working so far,

but this road looks
a little bit familiar.

And that's because we were here ten
years ago at a place called vulture mine.

Tonight we're going to be deserted
in this ghost town from dusk until dawn

with nothing but desolation for
miles and miles all around us.

We got hit with a huge storm. I
think they called it the 30-year storm.

We were driving down this very
road and we couldn't drive anymore

because of flash floods.

Look at this. Look at this.

The wind is really powerful, so it's
blown everything. Look at his umbrella.



Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.

There's a very real reason why
we're back here ten years later.

And that reason is, last year there
was some kind of a paranormal outing

where three people got
severely affected by an entity.

Two of them went
to the hospital.

That's when it gets severe.

So then we started
digging a little bit more

and we spoke with
some native americans

who believe that the mine,
they just started mining it again.

When we were here,
it was abandoned,

but now that this mining
operation has started again,

they believe that it has
unleashed an ancient

and very,
very dark native american curse.

There are things in this world
that we will never fully understand.

The vulture mine sits in dry
isolation 70 miles north of phoenix.

Established in 1863 by austrian
prospector henry wickenburg...

The mine's gold output was responsible
for much of arizona's development.

By the 1880s,
vulture city's population

exploded to more than 5,000 men,
women and children...

Some drawn by opportunity,
others by greed.

Stealing was an ongoing problem.

In 1923, seven miners and their
12 burros snuck into the mine,

hoping to shave gold pieces
from the support columns.

This would prove
an unwise decision.

All lives were lost when their
actions caused a massive collapse,

sealing them all...

In this permanent tomb.

Today vulture city
is a time capsule

saturated with the dark energy of
those who suffered and died here.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's been
ten years and we are back in vulture city.

We were alerted by a
couple people that we know,

jay and marie yates

and they were doing a paranormal
type conference here last year

with hundreds of people.

She was the host
of this conference

and she told us that there
were a few people that...

Multiple people that
got severely affected,

but two of them
got so badly affected

that they had to
go to the hospital.

By the time the ghost
hunt came around,

I started feeling not very good,
to be honest with you.

I even told jay. I was, like, "hey, I'm
feeling a little bit under the weather."

I was, like,
"I don't know what's going on."

all of a sudden it was like a fist,
a man-sized fist,

right into my gut and it
literal... It put me down.

Like,
I was completely onto the ground

like this almost,
going onto the ground.

I could tell she was in pain
because she was crunched over,

um, and I was kind of trying to just
come to her aid to see what was going on.

Um, she just went limp
and she lost consciousness

and we caught her
on the way down.

This wasn't just a
medical emergency.

She was being
possessed by something.

Jay then took
his wife to the hospital,

but the doctors
found nothing wrong.

Marie wasn't the
only victim that day.

Another woman passed out as
well. She was also hospitalized.

What's crazy is that
both my wife and her

that went to the hospital got checked out,
like, they ran everything.

Like, you know, it wasn't dehydration,
it wasn't heat stroke,

it wasn't any of the things that
you would think typically it would be.

Both jay and marie are convinced

this was the work
of a malevolent spirit.

It is believed dark energy lurks
throughout these mountains,

yet there is one specific
area in the center of town

where the energy
seems most concentrated.

This, right here,
is the hangman's tree.

18 men they say
were killed right here.

I mean, the roots of this tree still have
the memory of all the pain, the torture,

the suffering and the final
last breaths of every man

that was hung from this tree.

From high grading ore,
stealing gold, uh, for rape...

And it's a nasty place to be.

I mean, you can feel it when
you're underneath of this.

So we're going to go talk with a
woman and her name's victoria.

Whatever happened to her,
it started right here.

Victoria storm also
fell victim to the dark energy

at the same 2019 paracon
event where marie was attacked.

So we were taking a
break from investigations

and I went... They said I could let
raw off leash over there to go potty.

So while I was walking this way,
I let him off leash and he started to run

and he came to a dead stop,
he wouldn't pass the tree to save his life.

from an evil force

When I went to go past the staircase
going up, I just got this ominous feeling.

I was, uh, dizzy. I was nauseous.
I was trying to ground myself.

He was trying to
get me to lay down.

I was... I was shaking and I collapsed.

This was the exact
moment marie passed out

on the opposite
side of the property.

Victoria's dog is clearly being
affected by something in this building.

he appears to be protecting her,

that one spot right there,

frozen in time.

Whatever is up in that

I am a medicinal person
from the navajo tribe.

These men are part of an organization
called unearthing the supernatural.

They have previously
investigated vulture city.

So when we were here ten years ago,
we did a full investigation...

But we've only
been here tonight...

And I can tell you right now,
the short time

that we just spent in
that assay building...

Was completely different from
when we were here ten years ago.

It feels like something is very,
very different here now.

And the things that
some people are telling us

is it seems like there's
a darkness here.

Before a lot of...

Um, everything around here
got cultivated into what it is now.

You know, um, the indigenous people,
you know, were here

and they had connection
to the land here.

And so when an outside source came in,
it disrupted everything.

Historically,
these vulture peaks

are a sacred area to a
lot of tribes around here.

The ancient tribes
are not here anymore

and they say that there are beings,
giants,

there are monsters,
dark entities that were around.

And when they cleansed
this earth of that darkness,

they had to put those bodies,
that evil somewhere

in certain sacred sites and then this
is what we found out was one of them.

There's darkness
that was buried here.

The evil. Those
giants. Those monsters.

And there was guardian spirits
that were placed on top to guard that.

And when the conquistadors,
the us military

and other people came to flush out
the native americans, chase them away,

put them on
reservations and kill them,

when that happened,
there was no more caretakers of this land.

There is no more humans
to do the ceremonies

and there's no protection there,
it releases that ancient darkness.

Are we in danger, more danger to be
here now than we were ten years ago

because of the dynamics
of how this has all shifted?

I would say, yes.

The reason being is because...

Like you said,
that mining is happening right now.

It's disturbing these
sacred grounds.

Whatever is underneath here,
this evil that's around,

it's being brought up again,
re-released again.

Okay, so we just had a very,
very interesting interview

with four, uh, gentlemen.

They are from the navajo tribe.

And now they just told us that
they want to do a ceremony.

We were just, like, "okay." and we
were just going to sit back and watch.

They go, "no, no,
you grab all your paranormal equipment

and you're going to watch
and use your equipment

because when we do this ceremony,
all the spirits are going to come with us

and they're going to start
participating in this, good and bad,

and we just don't know
what to expect at this point."

as the navajo men
begin their ceremony,

I begin to feel as though the wind,
the sky, the fire and the land around us

are all aligning in this
extraordinary moment

in order to open a gateway
to another dimension.

The native americans in
this region have many legends

linking the founder of
vulture city to this land.

Henry wickenburg,
he stumbled upon a crystal

and in our way that's the
connection to the spirit world.

And what we found out is darkness is,
like, "hey, come over here.

Why don't you come over
here? There's something here."

and so they gave him gold.

They fed him with that gold, that greed,
that gold fever and he started digging.

And when he started digging,
when you mine on a sacred area like this,

it releases that ancient evil.

They ran amok here and people that
died here that were in this mining town,

they unfortunately were affected
by it and they couldn't move on.

They were trapped.

And so these beings that
were here in the mining days

and even the... The days preceding that,
they were scared,

their entities, their spirits were
scared to even leave the buildings

because these giants,
these monsters, these evil things

were running around and
if they left the buildings,

they would take
them and eat them

and experience a
worse fate than death.

As I take pictures with
the full spectrum camera,

I capture something unnerving.

We break from the
ceremony to investigate.

This was the bordello, a building where
much of vulture city spent its riches.

So while they're doing the ceremony,
I took a picture

and I see this, like,
very dark shadow figure

that's in none of
the other pictures.

- Looks like he's holding a rifle.
- That it does.

- Or a gun. - like, a gun.

Say, like, this is the gun, it looks like
he's, like, in this position, like that.

This shadow figure becomes an
even more compelling piece of evidence

when you consider it could not
have been created by the navajo men

whose shadows can easily
be seen here highlighted in red.

These people here,
they're here to communicate.

They're here to... To talk.

As we wrap up our
investigation of the bordello,

david has experienced
something disturbing

in the exact same spot I
captured this shadow figure.

Did you say you said that
you saw somebody here, a spirit?

Well, we were walking back and I
heard clear as day someone say,

"you red skin.
I'm going to scalp you."

- and you heard that over here?
- Loud and clear, clear as day.

I was taking full
spectrum photos.

It looks like there's some kind of a... A
shadow there that's not any of you guys.

- Yeah.
- It is something that we can't explain

because that would be very
interesting for that to go with that

- in that same exact area.
- Yeah.

For the next phase of the
ceremony we head over to the bunkhouse.

This sacred mask is used by
some native american tribes

to communicate
with the other side.

David and his team
previously made contact

with spirits in this structure.

Spirits around,
we gather here again.

Let's try to communicate.

Dude, you want to go lights out?

That'd be... It'd be best. Yeah.

We're just going to have to
listen through audio for right now.

As the ceremony intensifies,

I begin feeling a dark
presence amongst us.

Keep in mind,
we are in total darkness.

See all I'm telling
them is to take care of you.

And when they see
you with the crystals,

you can see into
the other realm,

the spirit world.

That's what we use
when we do ceremony.

He then tells me it's
extremely rare for a spirit

to give a name to
someone like me

and that I have the ability
to see the spirit world.

At this moment, a rush of energy
overcomes me and I'm filled with anger.

I cannot be in this
building another moment.

When I turned and looked,
I was looking out that window,

I kept seeing a darkness and I didn't
know if it was somebody behind me,

but that's when we
were all lights out.

And then I do
remember looking at you

and I just did not have
good thoughts of you at all.

It was just bad.

And I just started seeing almost like
hallucinogenic, like, visions and stuff.

I was, like, "whoa,
what is this?"

it was like I started
seeing in that dimension

that spiritual dimension for,
like, a moment.

I was, like,
"holy. What was that?"

something definitely
overtook me.

that's the evil that's here.

Okay. We are getting
ready to start our lockdown.

So I was really badly
affected last night

and it was very powerful to witness these
native americans from the navajo tribe

come here and do this
ceremony and the things that I felt,

the things that we
captured was incredible.

So what we want to do is,
we could sense these spirits,

and in that photo,
I believe we captured it.

So we wanted to use
some other equipment

to try to further the visual evidence
aspect of these entities and spirits

that are on this property.

So we called upon the help of an
electrical engineer named jeff konkel.

And jeff came out and dropped
us off a bunch of equipment

that uses lidar and
radar mapping systems,

very advanced visual equipment.

And we're really excited
to use that tonight.

And that is our focus,
to pinpoint these spirits.

Before we
begin our investigation,

we will place these remote motion
sensors in each of the buildings

that we will be targeting.

If any motion is detected,
I will get an alert on this watch.

Okay, right now we are going
to enter into the assay building.

Yesterday, last night,
I got affected in here.

- I think everybody did.
- Yeah.

We got a lot of
activity in here as well.

We are using a brand new visual
camera and this is called a xls camera.

You guys ready?

This is weird, jay. Whoa,

- It was a little thing, it turned into a giant!

hanging from the ceiling.

They're saying that's what
the evil creatures were here.

He is huge. Like,
he's on all floors.

That is amazing.

- Those are the things that were just released.

They were the evil entities that were
just released because of the mining.

As I was capturing this
extremely compelling giant figure,

something the navajo men
were telling us about earlier...

They say that there are beings,
giants, that were around.

...The entire xls camera
malfunctions and shuts down for no reason

and I panicked
because I'm worried

that the footage of
this amazing evidence

wasn't captured
on the hard drive.

So we called jeff back
to examine his device.

Okay, so we just captured something
incredible on jeff's camera rig here.

We want to review it right away.

It's not there?

It's... It's there,
but it's not picking it up.

- What about the sd card?
- The file is there.

It's on the sd card.

How common is that to
capture a figure like we just did?

Very uncommon because in my testing of this
xls camera, it's very hard for it to...

Like, if you go by a post or anything
like that to create a skeletal figure.

It has to be something there and I've
tried so many things to try and recreate it

and it hasn't.

- Okay.
- I haven't picked up anything

other than a person's skeletal
figure when they're walking by me.

- Okay, so it's next to near...
- Impossible on them.

- okay. - It is.

- To pick up a...
- it's basically impossible for it to pick any...

- a figure up instead.
- Yeah.

Okay. And so the
unfortunate thing is...

Is after the figure disappeared,
it turned into a giant.

- I'm hoping aaron shot the screen.
- I shot an angle.

It was a little thing
that turned into a giant.

Oh, my god! Look, it's,
like, hanging from the ceiling.

It's a giant. Remember,
he was talking about the giants?

But what happened is,
is the whole unit shut down.

- And how many times has your unit shut down like that?
- Never.

Jeff gets the
xls operating again.

We then immediately head
back to the assay building

to see if we can document
more of this giant entity.

You didn't like that we captured you,

And you broke our equipment.

You didn't realize
that you could be seen.

- It was standing right there.

it was standing in
front of this little chest.

That's where it was standing
and then it shot up to the ceiling.

It got up to about 12 feet tall.

God,
I hope we didn't lose that footage.

Jeff said that this device, the xls,
does not map in false positives at all.

Like, you could use this for
hours and not see anything.

With no trace of this giant
figure anywhere down here,

we are getting zero activity
and we aren't feeling anything,

so we decide to head upstairs.

That's where we
got those giant...

See, we just walked in
here and I'm getting an alarm.

this is alarming

and that's basically saying that the motion
sensor, the receiver that is in here,

it is giving us an
alert on my watch.

All of a sudden, the giant
figure returns and as it manifests,

jay is feeling an energy source
near him and then going through him.

At the same time, I document this
figure shooting right through his chest.

Jay now commands the entity to
appear on the table and incredibly it does,

just for a split second.

Hey,

Well, that was weird.

It is very powerful
evidence to capture this figure

quickly appear on the same
exact table jay commands it to.

The second you
put that rock up there,

there was like a split-second
figure standing on the table.

- Yeah.

That was not cool. You

conducts an evp session,

but the recorder
unexplainably malfunctions.

right where the giant
entity was captured.

In this moment, I get stricken
with a sudden pain in my shoulder.

I just got a pain on my shoulder.

As I feel a sharp

it's as if whatever did this injected
me with a syringe of pure rage.

And as I command
this entity to back off,

this light anomaly
goes into my hand.

My back hurts.

It got into me.

A large red mark is on my back

under multiple
layers of clothing.

This is a spiritual attack
and while it's terrifying for me,

it's also incredibly compelling.

aggression that just got into me.

After I collect myself,
we go back to the digital recorder

to try to get it to play the audio
that was captured before it froze up.

camera that is rolling beneath us,

in the same moment as we
are all standing absolutely still,

footsteps on this floor.

We quickly head down
to investigate and as we do,

watch this strange anomaly
manifest in the corner of the room.

As we head back upstairs,

we realize there are more
class a evps on that same file.

I can't remember the last time we captured
so many evps on a single recording.
