Zak and the crew investigate the Washoe Club in Virginia City, NV, for the very last time. A highly personal communication brings the guys to tears, and they experience a chilling exchange with the spirits.

messages and visions

and dreams
of coming back here.

WOMAN: He blew his brains out.
[ Gunshot ]

There were body parts
in the street.

-[ Barking ]
-Ow!

ZAK: The spirit will attack.

This place scares me.

I'm overwhelmed, dude.

Something just
shot through me.



Dude, the door!

-Where's that signal?
-Us, it says us!

ZAK:
There are things in this world

that we will never
fully understand.

our credibility, our reputation,

working alongside
the most renowned professionals

We are returning to a place

where we haven't been
for about nine years,

a place that has
left its mark on me,

both physically, mentally,
spiritually, and emotionally.

We are returning...

...to the Washoe Club
in Virginia City.

This is the last time

that we're ever
gonna come back here.

This is the Washoe Club.

Final chapter.

For "Ghost Adventures" fans,
the Washoe Club

needs no introduction.

This is
our third investigation here,

including the documentary
that started it all in 2004

and our return here in 2009.

On that trip, we were
joined by investigators

Mark and Debbie Constantino,
who were intimately

connected to the Washoe.

The memory of their passing
makes this investigation

all the more emotional.

ZAK: I meet with
owner Scott Burrell

in a room that was used
as a morgue in the 1870s.

The original documentary
from upstairs

capturing the full
body apparition

is still mind-blowing.
-Yeah.

And you still have the camera
that captured it

in the little museum.
-On display, correct.

To see the museum,
to see my shirt that I wore,

to see Aaron's visor,
to see the camera

that captured
the apparition, it is like

a paranormal home to me.

But at the same time,
it's one of the places

that I fear the most.

I realize Aaron is missing.

I feel like I had to get off
the Washoe property,

like it's weird --

ZAK: Aaron's behavior
leads me to believe

that he and Billy and I
need to limit our exposure

to the powerful Washoe spirits

that have come to
know us so well.

We're not going up here.

until lockdown night.

Jay wasn't part of our
original investigation here

or our second in 2009.

So Jay and Dakota, I want you
to go up there with Carl.

ZAK: Carl knows some dark
history of the Washoe

that has never been revealed
to us before.

In 1873, June 29th,
there was an explosion

that killed 12 people
in this building.

There were body parts
in the street.

ZAK: Carl takes Jay to
a particularly active room.

-So this is room 12?
-Yes.

We call this
the demonic spirits room.

We've had as many as 26 people

that I could verify
got scratched in this room.

ZAK: Carl personally witnessed
a scratch manifest

on the skin
of a 16-year-old girl.

When she lifted up her shirt,

I literally saw the scratches
going down the side.

I saw the trickles of blood.

This is one room
you gotta be careful of

when you're doing
an overnight investigation

'cause this spirit will attack.

[ Growling ]

It does not discriminate.
It attacked a 10-year-old boy

up to a 65-year-old lady.

I believe it's demonic.

[ Buzzing ]

ZAK: Jennifer Reed,
the Washoe Club manager,

tells Jay about a tragic event

that occurred on
the third floor.

There was a man named Scotty.

His son and his friend were
running out in the hills,

and they fell
into an empty mine.

And sor --
Every time I say that part.

ZAK: Scotty's son was killed
in the accident.

JENNIFER: Scotty, he was
overcome with grief

and he blew his brains out.
[ Gunshot ]

ZAK: The revelation of
these tragic events

is a real breakthrough,
so in spite of my decision

not to go near the upper floors,

we move to the crypt, which
opens up to the second floor,

and attach
a recorder to the boom mic.

I want you to come

[ Bang ]

-Did you hear that?
-That's upstairs.

Shh, shh.
Did you hear it, Mike?

-Did you hear that?
-That's upstairs!

ZAK: Have you been somehow
sending visions?

Messages to me?

Wow, just got blasted
with an ice-cold wind.

are not contacting anything

and couldn't have knocked

I keep getting
weird visions of a...

Oh, my God,
just peltin' rocks.

It was like a bunch

hit my head,
or if it wasn't,

it was something
touched me.

But it felt like
a ton of little --

like someone dropped dirt
on my head.

I just whispered to you,

I keep getting
visions of Mark and Deb.

ZAK: Just as Aaron says
he's having visions

of our deceased
fellow investigators,

he has the sensation of
being pelted by rocks.

-Dude, it's them, man.
-Yeah.

[ Heavy sigh ]

-That was weird 'cause it --

I could feel, I said their name

and I started having
visions of, like, them.

ZAK: Aaron and I are
overcome with emotion

as we both feel
a familiar presence

making it very difficult
to continue.

them for a sec.

I felt it, too.

come down on me,

and then I felt it
when you felt it.

That would be them
talking to us.

...kind of getting to a whole
other level right now.

ZAK: We move to the museum area
to shake off

this intense sadness
and do an audio review.

I don't know why, like,
this is the first time

where I'm just reluctant
to listen to this.

the only voice we captured.

which we know

it could be very, very,
very intense on all of us.

after we had a very emotional,
intense experience

Billy was a hardcore skeptic
before he joined the GA team.

He investigated the Washoe Club
on my suggestion.

What he captured
made him a true believer.

to be illuminated in the IR.

investigation for us.

We are all very tense
because we know the caliber

of spirits that we're
dealing with here.

on this place.

ZAK: As Billy, Aaron,
and myself head upstairs

to begin our investigation,

Jay Wasley will keep
a very close eye on us

by monitoring four X cameras
from base camp,

which is located
directly beneath us.

I will lead out by using
a specialized camera rig

where we have mounted the SLS
and full-spectrum cameras.

Been a long time, spirits.

I haven't been up these stairs
for 10 years.

We got different equipment
this time,

so come on out, say, "Hello."

[ Footsteps,

BILLY:

Tonight when we're here, I

Just as I ask if the spirits

are going to show
themselves tonight,

my full spectrum camera captures

an unexplained
mist-like anomaly.

Watch very closely as it moves

from right to left while
also changing shape.

And because of these
visual characteristics,

we conclude that
this is not any type

of explainable light
or lens flare.

ZAK: As I begin to speak,
it feels as though

something enters into me
with the ability

to disable my own
conscious thoughts.

And just as this occurs,
we are all totally unaware

of what
the SLS camera captures.

This is absolutely

A fully formed figure appears
in the center of the hallway

and then, suddenly,
it vanishes into thin air.

As Aaron and I move to the spot
where this figure manifested,

we receive a spirit voice.

BILLY: That sounded
like a girl, Zak.

[ Mechanical whirring ]

What was that?

ZAK: Is this the spirit
that was just seen

in this exact space?

BILLY:
What was that?

-Did you hear the girl?
-I heard the girl.

BILLY:

ZAK: We continue trying
to make contact

with this female spirit.

But we don't receive
any more responses,

so we start looking for her

in hopes that she will

through the spirit box,

it feels as though the device
shocks me like a taser.

a very large and
bright light anomaly

appears in front of me.

[ Breathing heavily ]

being physically contacted

at the Washoe Club

These are
the original recorders

that we've used
for 10 years.

These Olympus ones.

I changed the settings
on them.

HQ, SP, LP, those
are the settings.

This one will be a better
recording than this one,

and this would be
the worst recording.

But sometimes that
low frequency will

come through better
in EVP.

So as an experiment,
I'm gonna roll all three of 'em.

of paranormal activity at

ZAK: As Aaron and I walk
through a doorway

with the door clearly wide open
and not in motion

against the wall,
as you can see right here,

we are far away
in the other room

when we hear that door
slam shut all by itself.

AARON:

Oh, my God, dude.

We literally just turned
the corner, walked,

and go, "rolling, rolling"
and like, that was like, what?

The door doesn't shut
by itself, Aaron.

ZAK: Billy urgently calls us
down to nerve center

in order to play us something
that was captured

during his emotional
EVP session.

BILLY: I wasn't

Just as we are stunned to this
class A EVP that Billy captured,

we all start hearing loud noises
on one of our X cameras.

Okay. We are hearing
all kinds of noises.

All four of us are
accounted for at nerve.

We just heard the guy
