We are at the Pythian
Castle in Missouri.



Built in 1913 to serve
as a meeting hall

by the secret society known
as the Knights of Pythias...

It's been an orphanage.

It's been a nursing home.

It's been a tuberculosis
hospital,

and in 1942, the United States
military took this place over.

They would interrogate
prisoners of war.

A lot of dark history
leading to over 100 deaths.

The tour guide that we're going
to talk to right now

believes that she
had a nightmare

that was a premonition
for her brother's suicide.

The owner lives here,
and on the same night

as this tour guide's brother
committed suicide,

she experienced poltergeist
activity inside here.

Well, the first night
we wanted to treat it

like any housesitting job,

so we had dinner
in the ballroom, played cards,

spent the rest of the evening
in the front living room

listening to music.

We said,
"Let's go to bed."

The dogs ran upstairs
ahead of us.

They went into
the queen suite,

and they were making
these noises [ Barking ]

that I've never
heard dogs make.

So they were sensing something.
[ Whimpering ]

Looking in that room,
they did not want us

in the sleeping area,

so we went and we slept
in the same bed.

He slept on the left.
I slept on the right.

The first thing that we both
heard as soon as we got in

and got settled
was a whistle.

- that we heard earlier?

Now, when we investigated
Waverly Hills Sanatorium,

whenever you heard
a whistle,

that meant that something bad
was going to happen.

That's something that
we found out about a year ago.

we'll get a whistle.

"They're just messing with me.

these thoughts in my head."

Who's they? "I have

The spirits.

What I believe we
are dealing with

is a deeply advanced entity,

an entity with a plot
to use the living

to tell the story
of itself in the afterlife

and in that darkness I saw
something that looked like it

was kind of an oval head,

and it just had two,
like, orange eyes.

And knowing what
we've been hearing already

At Pythian Castle
in Springfield, Missouri,

we've been overwhelmed
with dark experiences

and tons of evidence.

We're definitely dealing
with very powerful

and dangerous entities.

For tonight, we are
doing research,

and even though Jay and I
just killed ourselves...

Our spirits are at the castle
doing their research right now.

goofy and fun,

those are the coffee beans to
kind of reset us to come back in

after what we
experienced last night

and start doing our research,
which we need to do

because we have a serious situation here.

I'm most concerned about,

this whole
mimicking thing.

A lot of people

they claim that
they see themselves

in some kind of spirit form
but they're still alive,

or they see someone
they know that's alive,

and it usually means
that their death is coming

or something very tragic...

I'm worried because Cindy
already had the dream,

the premonition that
he brother was going to die

and what happened
to her brother?

He died 3 weeks later.

I'm worried and I'm concerned
for her wellbeing here.

Tamara, the owner's mother,

in her dream after
she woke up

from the nightmare where her brother died.
She said she was there.

The doppelganging,
why is it happening here

at the Pythian Castle?

There is definitely
a demonic tie to it.

A lot of people do believe
that it is demonic,

and it leads into
demonic mimicking.

I'm worried about
Cindy's brother

who suffered
from depression

and being in a place where
there possibly is dark forces.

And we know they tend to feed
on those people that are,

I hate to say it, but a little
weaker, maybe in their mind set.

So we're going to look at some

at Pythian Castle.

that were real notable.

This man cut his own
throat with a razor.

people kill themselves, either.

the intensity of that...

Somebody that slits their own
throat, that's a lot of agony.

lot of pain involved.

Would some thing have
induced this gentleman

to take his life in one of the
most gruesome ways? Yeah. Yeah.

The pattern keeps going because
I just found another suicide.

This one,

- this man shot himself in the head...

long rifle.

That would be difficult.
To be able to do that...

and we're outside and Aaron
has just seen a soldier,

a figure, apparition.
Yeah, it looked like

a soldier in almost
Vietnam camouflage.

of history

here of the Pythian
Castle was,

this was used by
the military.

It was used also to help
soldiers from wounds,

and it was also used to
interrogate prisoners of war.

One of those prisoners
of war, a German,

whose voice we captured
during our interviews...

This sounds like a German voice.

And who others
have captured...

That just gave me the creeps.

was that German watching us
stand here at his castle?

We are discovering that a lot
of paranormal events

take place on the grounds
of the Pythian castle

and not just inside.

Earlier, I saw a face
with glowing eyes

near these basement windows,

which was followed by
compelling audio evidence.

Whoa.

It is now time to lock down
inside the Pythian Castle,

and we begin by making our way
to the underground dungeon.

All right. We're going to start
our investigation off

by locking Jay downstairs
in the basement.

This basement is huge.

There are tons of actual
jail cells down here

where they used to
keep prisoners of war.

Down here, it looks like
solitary confinement

from any massive prison
that we've ever investigated.

So I've chosen this cell,
which is soundproof,

has a solid door
that's very heavy.

Jay, I'm going to put you
in isolation the entire night.

All right. There is two
X cameras in there.

I'm going to lock you
inside there, okay? Okay.

You're not getting out
until the end of the night.

of war would have been.

if the spirit of the German POW

will make contact with him

I see something amazing
appear on the SLS camera

while he is pain.

figure up there

on the wall.

As soon as Billy hits his leg

and endures raw, extreme pain,
this figure manifests.

Could this be proof
of a negative spirit

being drawn to this energized
shockwave of emotional pain?

It is also very coincidental
that this figure hovers

in the same exact spot
where Cindy saw an entity

while she was having
her nightmare.

then try to make contact while
the spirit is still around me.

we are not receiving any voices

particular male voice

that has now spoken to us twice.

As we are communicating
with the spirit

that I feel attached to me,

our SLS camera is about
to capture irrefutable proof

that this male spirit
is speaking with us.

Maybe it's the German, not him.

It was right next to you,

There was a figure

It mapped in where the pillows
are for a split second.

this figure which just showed
itself next to the spirit box,

now says in a very
disturbing tone,

"We're coming."

As we check in on Jay
down in the dungeon cell,

we are surprised to find him
sound asleep on a dirty floor

where all kinds of bugs
are crawling around.

[ Static ]

JAY: Tell me who you are.
We just heard you.

I saw an extraterrestrial.

- That was crazy.
- That was crazy.

ZAK: At the Pythian Castle
in Missouri,

Jay has been locked inside
of a POW cell for hours.

[ Static ]

Jay is awakened by
a loud banging sound,

and when we review the footage
from the X camera shooting

just outside his cell,

we notice an unexplained
light anomaly

that moves right as
the banging sounds occurs,

and the anomaly almost appears
to be striking the wall

directly outside
of Jay's cell.

[ Banging ]

Could the brightness
of this light anomaly

indicate highly-charged
spiritual energy

that's manifesting
physically

in order to cause this loud
banging sound?

And now he starts
talking about aliens.

When I woke up I saw
an extraterrestrial

standing right here,

Aaron and I capture
an aggressive EVP

in one of the POW's cells.

we are very frustrated

because after conducting
multiple EVP sessions,

we aren't capturing
any class A EVPs.

I decide to send Aaron

the underground tunnels

while I return upstairs
to regroup with Billy

so we can set up
an experiment in the room

where a very heavy radiator
was thrown to the ground.

Kind of created
a little experiment here.

I have a simple digital recorder
that I mounted on a tripod here,

just so it's absolutely stable.

There is no movement
in a human hand or nothing.

It's just static,
mounted on a tripod.

Right next to it,
but yet not interfering with it

is a electromagnetic
energy detector, a Mel meter,

and there is an
electromagnetic energy field

being generated by this antenna,

probably about this big.

Picture this.

So if a spirit comes in
to communicate with us

or leaves us an EVP,

I want to see if we can have
another device document

at the same time
the presence of this spirit,

so we'll either hear this,

or we'll see a shift
in the milligauss reading.

Right now it's
a baseline of 0.0,

and even the temperature,
so three different ways

to detect the spirit
that will speak here.

[ Static ]

Hello?

ZAK: As Aaron says hello
to the spirits in the tunnel,

an unexplained voice comes
through his walkie talkie.

AARON: Hello?

ZAK: Here is a few reasons
as to why this is unknown.

First, it doesn't sound anything
like Jay, Billy, or myself.

Secondly, we weren't on
our walkies at this time,

and, finally,
deep in the tunnel,

there shouldn't be any reception
for Aaron's walkie.

Who is trying to speak
with him down here?

AARON: I have some questions.

I'm down here just to
find out some answers.

ZAK: Do you see this device in
the center of the coffee table?

Can you speak into it?

It takes no effort at all
to knock these over.

While the bricks that I set up
never get knocked over,

watch what happens in the upper
left-hand corner of the screen.

A strange ball of light
begins to manifest and hover

in the same position,

then another ball of light
manifests near the first one

before taking a direct
diagonal path

towards the digital recorder.

Approximately 2 seconds
after this ball of light

disappears near the recorder,

we capture an electronic
voice phenomena.

I'm almost at the end.

I'm going to go all the way back
over there and keep going.

What's your name, sir?

Look at that... rusty pipes.

Whoa.

Oh.

So I've reached the end.
