Ghost Adventures (2008–…): Season 13, Episode 5 - Dorothea Puente Murder House - full transcript

The GAC are called to Sacramento, California to investigate the boardhouse operated by Dorothea Puente, a prolific serial killer who killed her clients when they were in need in exchange for cash.

Dorothea Puente
was a sadistic serial killer.

One of the victims was missing
her head, hands, and feet.

Something was wrong here.
Something was wrong.

You saw Dorothea Puente
in your room?

Yes.

She's standing
right here, dude.

Are there more bodies?
What'd you do to me?

Whoa!
It says "kill."

That's what was talking to me.

[ Gasps ]
What is happening?

There are things in this world

that we will never
fully understand.

[ Distorted ] Understand.

[ Echoing ] We want answers.

We have worked years to build
our credibility, our reputation,

working alongside
the most renowned professionals

in the field,

capturing groundbreaking proof
of the paranormal.

It's working!

I can't give you
an explanation.

[ Birds cawing ]

This is our evidence...

our ghost adventures.

We're in Sacramento, California.

Who would suspect
a sweet little old lady

of being a serial killer?

MAN: The grim harvest at
the Sacramento boarding house

that has police looking
for a 71-year-old landlady.

In the 1980s,

a woman by the name
of Dorothea Puente

turned her yard into a cemetery.

She murdered nine people
in this house.

Seven of those bodies
were found buried in the ground,

right here in this property.

Dorothea Puente coveted
the Social Security checks

of her incapacitated tenants.

Her solution?

Kill them.

She poisoned their drinks,

waited for them to die,

and buried them in her yard.

We were called to the house.

There are paranormal things
happening here,

as you would guess.

We just walked up on it.

And...

What in the heck?

Is there a mannequin of her
up on the front doorstep?

[ Gate beeping ]
Whoa.

What?

Oh, my God.
Who opened that, dude?

Hello.

Is that thing moving?

First thing I'm doing is seeing
if there's a dude in there.

What does this say?

"Trespassers will be drugged
and buried in the yard."

I mean, it's creepy
just to know that this house

already was the site
of a serial killer.

But what's the deal
with the mascots

and the puppets
and the weird signs everywhere?

It just adds a whole other layer
of, like, weird.

[ Insect zaps ]

When I come back in here,

I see the things
that I saw then.

It was simply just
a house of horrors.

Okay. Right now,
we are going to be speaking

with the lead detective
on the Dorothea Puente case.

Correct.

Sergeant Cabrera
led the team

that unearthed
all seven bodies

here in 1988.

We started digging, and we
started bringing up some cloth

and some leathery material,

which later on, a pathologist
told me it was human flesh.

Oh, my gosh.

I got down to a point

where I thought
I hit a tree root,

because at one time there was
a large tree right here.

And I got in there
and braced myself

and pulled hard
and kept pulling,

and, all of a sudden,
I come up.

I'm holding on
to a femur bone.
[ Scoffs ]

Now we know
we've found human remains.

Each day,
there was another body,

another body,
and another body.

Something was wrong here.

Something was wrong.

Cabrera takes us to the room
he calls the death room.

This is the room where
she would take her victims.

And this is where she would
prepare them for the ground.

When I came in,
I took the carpet,

and I folded it back.

I was just overcome
with this odor, this stench.

And looking at the stain
in the carpet,

I knew right away
what it was.

This was
putrefied body fluid.

Now, her victims, they could
have been on this floor

up to two, three,
four weeks.

This was
a makeshift morgue.

Basically.

Was this wood floor
underneath the carpet?

Yes, it was.

So this is
the original wood floor?

This is
the original wood floor.

So these fibers of this wood,
I'm sure,

still have body fluids
or blood in it.

It could.
Good possibility.

So how would she kill them?

Dalmane --
very powerful drug,

which would put a person
in a catatonic state.

So this drug wouldn't
necessarily kill them.

It would just
paralyze them?

Given in a larger dose,
coupled with alcohol,

it would more than likely
stop their heart.

But it's always
been my opinion,

looking at the way
I found the bodies,

that some of them
were not dead

when they were placed
in the graves.

Buried alive?

Good possibility.

So Dorothea would --

Dorothea or someone else,

we don't know who --

would drag the bodies
from the room

across this wooden floor
and down these stairs.

Exactly.

The floor, the wood,
you know?

The whole Stone Tape theory,
placed memory,

these wood planks

just storing not just
the physical fluid

but the imprints,
the emotions,

the energy that was contained
with it.

We've always said that the house
has this dark cloud over it.

After they started
doing the renovations,

that dark cloud
kind of went away.

But after Dorothea Puente
passed away,

it seemed like
some of that returned.

There's a lot
of buried secrets.

What do you mean?

Well, one of the victims

was missing their head,
hands, and feet

when they found the body.

Excuse me?
Yeah.

The witness next door
had loaned her a circular saw.

The marks on the bones
would be consistent

with some kind of a tool
like a circular saw blade.

ZAK: Oh, my gosh.

Did you ever find her head,
her arms, and her legs?

We have no clue where
those body parts are today.

Could they still be
on the property?

It's anyone's guess.

ZAK: 91-year-old Peggy Holmes
lives on the ground level

where all of Dorothea's victims
were housed.

We had just moved in.

And I was upstairs,
and I could smell it.

You could smell what?

I just call it
a smell of death.

It was like old blood
and stuff.

It was the smell of...
Old blood.

Old blood.
Yeah.

After I talked to you,

when I said that's
all that I know,

about a week later,

I woke up,
and there she was.

There who was?

I think it was Dorothea.

Dorothea Puente?

Yes.

When did this happen?

After I talked to you.

Jeff, my researcher, who talked
to you about a week ago?

Yeah.
So you're telling me
that you saw

who you believe
Dorothea Puente in your room...

Right.
...between 1 week ago
and now?

Yes.

She had on a --
a yellow dress.

And it had blotches
of black on it.

She had a big smile
on her face.

Almost friendly, 'cause she was
smiling all the time.

Well, Dorothea
was very friendly

to the people
that lived here

before she killed them.

Well, yeah. She had a mean look
in her eye.

She had a mean look
in her eye?

Well, her eyes
weren't smiling.

You know, people can smile
and their eyes don't smile.

I was sleeping
on this side,

and she was right here.

You could reach out
and touch her.

It was that close.

If she comes back, I'd like
to ask her some questions.

What would you ask her?

What do you want?
Why are you here?

That's about it.

Why? Why?
And why me?

Why not somebody else?

If it was Dorothea Puente,

do you think that
she would want to do harm?

She'd probably want to give me
a little dose of her medicine,

yes.

After our interview,
Peggy tells us

she's been experiencing
mysterious falls in the house.

It was like
someone pushed you?

We move to an isolated location

to review the audio I captured
in Peggy's bedroom.

What would you ask her?

What do you want?
Why are you here? Why?

Oh!
Oh, yeah.

What do you want?
Why are you here?

"To die."
There's an EVP.

"Why are you here?"
"To die."

As we continue to listen
to the recording,

the evidence
begins to mount.

Why me?
Why not somebody else?

Whoa.
Whoa.

Whoa.

Why me?
Why not somebody else?

"You're dead."
"You're dead."

What do you want?
Why are you here?

Why? Why? And why me?

Why not somebody else?

Why not somebody else?

Could we have just captured
Dorothea Puente's voice

in the same bedroom

where this 91-year-old woman

just saw her
less than a week ago?

When we have investigated
other serial killers' homes,

like Herb Baumeister...

People are still finding
human remains in these woods.

...we have learned
that, even in death,

these serial killers,
their spirits,

like to be in control
of these victims --

complete control.

She was a narcissist,

and everything was about her
and her control of everything.

Dorothea Puente was a sadistic,
evil serial killer

that lived in this house.

And if Peggy just saw her,

we felt her
and just heard her voice.

If she's here,

she would be controlling
and holding

the spirits
of these victims

'cause she had them
in control.

And if we come in here,
we want to break that chain.

Dorothea Puente, what you did
to these poor people was sick.

We're gonna drive you
out of this house

because it is not
your house anymore.

And if there's other bodies
still buried here

or pieces of bones
from your victims

that you are still guarding,

it ain't gonna happen

'cause we want to banish
your ass out of this house.

MICHAEL:
I'm not usually this nervous,
but I'm nervous.

Is there somebody here?
There's a man here, yeah.

I got murder immediately.

That's him.

Last night, we were here.
We were doing interviews.

It led into
an investigation.

We were mind-blown.
So I had an idea.

Late last night, I made a call

to some of the best
psychics in the business --

Michael and Marti Parry.

They have this
interesting talent.

Marti can actually draw
and sketch the spirits

that her husband
is communicating with.

You drew two men.

And you were communicating
with two men.

They took a last-minute flight
to Sacramento.

I have Billy
picking them up right now.

They have agreed
to be blindfolded.

They know nothing about
where they are coming.

We are gonna remove everything
that would give them a sign

that they are inside
the Dorothea Puente house.

I want to see
if they can interact

with the spirit
that showed itself to Peggy

and that communicated with us
last night.

"You're dead."
"You're dead."

All right, guys.
We're arriving.

Hello, Michael and Marti.
Ah!

I'm right here,
and my hand's right here.

ZAK: I very carefully escort
the Parrys to the top floor.

Michael and Marti,
please remove your blindfolds.

Okay.
Get your eyes adjusted.

We step back and allow
the Parrys to make contact.

Is there somebody here?

MICHAEL: There is.
There's a man here, yeah.

[ Clears throat ]
There's also a lady,

but she's not connecting as much
with me for the minute.

[ Clearing throat ]

You okay?

Often when a spirit
connects with me,

I feel the condition that
they had when they crossed.

What are you feeling?

It's almost like
a choking feeling.

[ Coughs ]

ZAK: Could Michael be channeling
a victim of Puente's

who choked down
some of her deadly poison?

Jay finds he's having
the same choking sensation,

as if the affect on Michael
has spread across the room.

MICHAEL: Yeah. Yeah.
Right in there.

I really am feeling like
he was murdered.

The man was?
Mm.

ZAK:
While Marti continues to sketch,

Michael asks to look
at the rest of the house.

There is a tall man
here with me.

There's a --
a fairly big man here.

Do you know his name?

[ Sighs ]

You have the "A."

And then a "B."

Is this
representing the man?

Yeah. That's him.

Is Michael sensing Alvaro,

nicknamed Bert, or A.B. Montoya,

a schizophrenic tenant
murdered in this house?

He was a big man.

He was a very big man.

He weighed
about 250 pounds.

He was 6 feet tall.

The weird thing is,
it's changed so much.

I don't remember the kitchen
being there like this.

What you -- why are you --
why are you saying

you don't remember the kitchen
being there like this?

You've never been in here.

[ Laughs ]

If I'm him...

If what?

If I'm him...

Is he in you?

I feel like it, yeah.

It's different.
Why are you looking down
right here?

I don't know. I just
feel like I'm expecting
something to be here.

What do you think
was here?

I don't know.
A wall?

ZAK:
What Michael is sensing here
gives us all chills.

Earlier, Detective Cabrera

told us something
that isn't public knowledge.

Back in 1988,
there was a wall here.

[ Distorted ]
There was a wall here.

A wall. A wall. Wall.

I almost feel like
I was laying there.

Laying down in this spot?
Yeah.

I got a feeling like
maybe the person OD'd

'cause I'm feeling like,
"Oh, I took something."

Like that.

ZAK: Is Michael contacting
the spirit of Alvaro Montoya,

who laid dead in this spot?

After they were
prepared here,

she would move her victims
out through here.

You see, there's two people.

I really feel the man.
The lady --

The lady, uh, she seems
more distant to me

or not -- not as connecting
as him.

Do you know if the woman
is good or bad or...?

I don't think she's good.

Well, not according to
what he said.

Called her a [bleep]

As the Parrys wrap up,

I have to take a moment
to process

the mind-bending connections
we're making.

I was absolutely amazed
how he picked up that wall.

What do you think
was here?

I don't know. A wall?

That blew my mind.

That's the only thing
that the detective told us

was different about the house
was the wall.

We examine the floor
in this spot,

and there are no marks or seams

to indicate that there was
once a wall here.

There is no explanation
for Michael's reading.

We reassemble to evaluate
this powerful experience.

Can I tell you guys now?
Yeah. Go on. Go on.

Michael, Marti,

you are in the house

of serial killer
Dorothea Puente.

She murdered nine people
in the house.

Seven of those people
were found in the yard.

That's why she wouldn't
connect with me.

I've got a man --
an older man.

And this one,
I got murder immediately.

She's smiling
but not in the eyes.

The elderly woman that lives
downstairs right now

that saw her a week ago

said that she was
standing by her bed smiling

but her eyes
weren't smiling.

That's true 'cause she doesn't
have the squinty eyes

like when you smile that big.
That's crazy.

ZAK: You know who we need
to go show this to?
Absolutely.

Peggy.

I would like to see if this
is the woman that she saw.

[ Laughs ]

Yeah. I'm afraid so.

We believe that's the woman
who poisoned everyone.

I think it is.

I think it is.

ZAK:
We're entering the death room.

Dorothea Puente,
are you here?

Stupid old lady.

What happened to Zak?

Someone needs to stop Clearway Law.
Public shouldn't leave reviews for lawyers.

You guys have seen "Pee-Wee's
Big Adventure," right?

Does this not look like
Pee-Wee's house?

It looks like
Pee-Wee's house.
But it isn't.

This isn't a house of comedy.
This is a house of horrors.

Nine murders, that were known,
happened right here.

Seven of those murders

resulted in bodies being dug up
in this ground.

We are gonna go inside
and try to communicate

and set free
these victims' spirits.

ZAK:
As Aaron, Billy and myself

start investigating
the top floor of the house,

our audio/video tech Jay Wasley

will explore the very grounds

from which all of these bodies
were exhumed.

Dorothea Puente,
my name's Zak.

You know who I am.
We've been here.

We brought in those psychics
who saw you here.

They were communicating
with the guy you killed.

There is a tall man
here with me.

He's the one, I think,
that told me about the wall.

You killed Alvaro...

nicknamed Bert.

Were you getting angry
that he was making contact

with these people?

All right. Right now
we're entering the death room.

Earlier, we interviewed
Detective John Cabrera.

And he told us that this
was the room right here

where most of the killings
took place.

And the bodies would be dragged
right here

down the stairs
and into the yard.

If there are victims here

and you're confused
on what happened,

I want to tell you
that you have crossed over.

The woman who was supposed to
be your caretaker,

she murdered you.

After investigating
the death room,

I capture no anomalies
on the thermal imaging camera.

So Aaron decides to roll
on his digital recorder

in an attempt to communicate.

You standing back here,
Dorothea?

Are you watching us?

Stupid old lady.

I have absolutely
zero fear for you.

You're harmless to me.

At this exact moment,

we capture an EVP
on the recorder

that Aaron is holding.

I have absolutely
zero fear for you.

You're harmless to me.

So while Zak, Aaron, and Billy
are inside the house,

I'm out front of the house
in the garden

where Betty Palmer was found.

Her head was cut off,
her arms were cut off,

and her legs were cut off
right here.

I'm gonna use
a special kind of microphone

that we've never used before
called a hydrophone.

It's a waterproof microphone.

Regular microphones
only pick up sounds

between about 20 hertz
and 20 kilohertz.

This microphone picks up
from 7 hertz

all the way up to 40 kilohertz.

So we'll be able
to pick up frequencies

that we've never been able
to record before.

Can you tell me
the name of the body

that was found here?

ZAK: We now make our way
down to the staircase

where Dorothea Puente
dragged all of her victims

before they were buried
in the yard.

Dorothea, we're here
to take all the spirits

that you killed,

separate them
from your entrapment.

I just want to say something.

We've made amazing communication
using this device --

irrefutable.

What can happen is, is if we're
in a haunted location

and there's spirits here
that are trapped,

a lot of them,
I believe, are trapped

because they need to
tell somebody something,

information about their death

or unfinished parts
of their life.

They need to get it off
their chest so they can move on.

We're gonna tap into the
electromagnetic spectrum,

the audio spectrum,

and these spirits,
for the very first time,

are gonna be able
to tell somebody.

And that will give them
a sense of closure.

[ Oscillating static ]

You can hear right now
he's turned the device on.

There's no voices
coming through.

And once he goes in there,
starts asking questions,

we're hoping that some spirits
are gonna start answering them.

Something's trying
to come through.

Keep it up!

Is that you, Dorothea?

You're not in trouble.
We just need to talk to you.

Dorothea!

What'd it say?
"What do you want?"
I don't know.

ZAK:
Aaron captures a voice here,

but we don't know
what it's saying.

Do you?

If anyone else
is in this room,

say your name.

Dorothea!

That was weird.

I feel like there's something
back there, dude.

I'll come to you.

Look, Dorothea, if I was you,

I would totally be in a corner
and shy and wouldn't be talking.

How many other spirits
are buried in this yard?

What'd you do to me?

ZAK: We're starting
to get audio evidence

at the Dorothea Puente
murder house.

Is this a spirit asking
"hear me?"

as it struggles to break
the communication barrier

to the living,
just as we do to the dead?

Look, Dorothea,
if I was you,

I would totally be in a corner
and shy and wouldn't be talking.

ZAK: I swear that just said --
Ouch.
What happened?

I swear to God it's here.
What wrong, Zak?

Oh, I just got a pain
in my lower back.

What happened to Zak?

ZAK: What's amazing
is that the same voice

comes through three times.

What happened to Zak?

Could Peter be another
unidentified victim

of Dorothea Puente?

It is also believed

that many of Dorothea's victims
were buried alive.

So could they have felt pain
like this in their backs

as they were being dragged
down the stairs?

So because Betty's head
was decapitated,

I have the idea that maybe she
can't communicate through EVP.

So I'm gonna use the Ovilus III.

Betty Palmer, this is
where your body was found.

Can you tell me what happened
to the rest of your body?

What happened to your head,
to your legs and arms?

"Bury"! Look at that!

It says "bury."
Yes, you've been buried.

Tell me, how many other spirits
are buried in this yard?

What?

It said 15.

There's only seven
that we know of.

Nine murders,
seven buried in this yard.

Maybe there was more that
just weren't discovered yet.

ZAK: Could Peter be one
of the other six?

Hey, Dorothea!

Show yourself to us right now.

Are you trying to do something
to this woman who sleeps here?

Whoa. Whoa.
BILLY: What?

It's a woman's voice.

Are you trying to do something
to this woman who sleeps here?

Whoa.
What?

Yeah,
it does feel different.

Dude, it's weird.
Dude, it was talking,
though.

It was talking.
You all right, dude?

She's in here somewhere.

Huh?

Are you okay, man?

You feel like
a cement block?

You look like you're just
melting into that bed.

Do you feel drugged?

I do feel, like,
really...

Lethargic?
Yeah.

I'm not...
Dude, what did
I tell you to do?

...tired. I'm not --
I just feel like...

Oh, yeah. You said --
Zak, I told her to give you
the medicine.

"Let's get rid of him."

You want to give him some
medicine and shut him up?

I told her to give you
the medicine.

All of a sudden, my body
feels like it's 4,000 pounds.

I can't move anything.

And I wonder if this is
how Dorothea's victims felt

after they were given
an overdose of Dalmane.

Something is definitely
happening to me right now.

Maybe that's what it feels like
to be drugged and when you die.

It's just you can't
do it anymore.

You should put a pillow
over his face.

You know?
What?

No, I'm just saying.
What did you just say?

I'm just saying,
saying that if he's --

Why would you say that?

I don't know why
I just said that.

You just said, "Maybe you should
put a pillow over his face"?

Why would you say that?
Why would you say that?

I don't know.
I don't know.

I swear to God, I don't know
why I just said that.

That was weird.
No! You said,
"I can't move."

And I'm just --
that's what -- the first thing

that popped into my head
was put a pillow over his face.

But I said it.
I didn't mean it.

Aaron and Billy decide
to leave me in the room

to see if something more severe
will happen to me

if I'm left alone
with Dorothea.

Good luck, man.
Well, where are you at?

I'm going down here
in the front.

I'm upstairs alone?
Yes.

What'd you do to me?

How many victims
are in this house?

AARON: All right. I'm laying
in the death room right now.

Just you and me, if you want.

If not, there's a camera
rolling over there.

Show yourself.
Lay down next to me.

Who's in here with me?

Who's in here with me?

Could Jenny be
another unidentified victim,

and am I feeling her
drugged state right now?

BILLY:
Please, if you're in here,
show yourself.

Can you sit down
in that chair right there?

ZAK:
What did you do to me?

Or maybe sit
in this chair.

Would you rather
sit in this chair?

AARON:
And if you're an innocent spirit

that something happened to
in here,

I'm gonna say something,

and you're probably
not gonna like it, okay?

But are parts of your body
still in the floor?

I just heard something
in the room.

I just heard someone
in the kitchen.

Were you being dragged?

Was that a residual spirit
being dragged in the kitchen,

across from me?

What was that?

I heard a noise...

When are you gonna
try to kill me?

This could be a victim.
Aaron! Come here!

ZAK: It's 1:32 A.M.
in Sacramento, California,

and something in this house
is affecting my body.

Are you all right?
Was that you?

Are you okay?
Huh?

Are you all right?
I don't know.

Did you fall out of bed?
Or did you try and walk?

I was trying to get up.

I've just never
seen you like this.

I need to talk to Aaron.
Get Aaron.

All right.

What happened?
Zak wants to talk to you.

He -- he's...

Hey. Come on, man.
He's on the floor, bro.

Dude,
did you just fall?

Remember when you were saying
that your body feels like

you're 5,000 pounds?

Yeah.

Feel like I can't move.
I know.

My body, my arms,
my head, anything.

It's weird
'cause I didn't feel any chills,

or my body didn't sense any kind
of spirit energy at all.

It just came over you.
I was just, like,
getting nothing.

No readings on EMF.

When I was standing here

I got that really bad pain
in my back.

And as soon as I laid down
into that bed,

I don't know what voice
you got, Aaron,

but it was right at that time
where, I swear to God,

it felt like someone
just stuck a [bleep] drug in me.

We decide to take a quick break,

and as I head outside
to get some fresh air

to try to get this feeling
to lift off of me,

Jay tells me about
the communication

he's been having
with the Ovilus.

JAY:
So I just got a message.

I wonder if it's the same time
you started feeling weird.

It said 15.

Nine murders,
seven buried in this yard.

Maybe there was more that
just weren't discovered yet.

If there's a spirit out here
helping Jay,

can you tell me what had --
is happening?

15.

Dude, maybe there is 15.

Maybe it's trying
to tell us.

15 earthen.

In the ground.

In the ground!
And they would be lost.

Yeah.
Right? 'Cause they haven't
been discovered.

AARON: And they can't travel
because they're stuck here.

I mean, they only caught
the one guy in the river

that was in the box
because someone found it.

One of the victims was found
in a homemade wooden coffin

and dumped
alongside the river.

How many others were there
that we don't know about?

Right.

Are we supposed to be
looking somewhere?

AARON: Dirt.

Dirt.

It just said dirt, dude.

Is that where the body parts are
that are missing maybe?

I have a microphone buried
in the dirt over here, too.

What's in the dirt?

Something tells me
to return to the bedroom

and lay down in that bed again.

I don't know why. I just
have this strange feeling.

What are you trying to do to me?

AARON: It says killed.
Killed?

It says killed, dude.
Look at it.
Told you, man.

I told you.
Look at it!

Whoa.

What are you trying
to kill me with?

When are you gonna try
to kill me?

Night.
It said night?

It says night.

Because we are receiving
such amazing evidence

through our Ovilus device,

Billy decides to immediately

break out
a brand-new piece of equipment

designed by Bill Chappell,
the Paranormal Puck 2.

The idea of this is
to ask a question out loud

and then choose
either EMF or static,

and it will search that specific
data to pull up answers.

ZAK: While the guys
are using this new device,

I decide to walk upstairs

and enter the death room
by myself.

Who are you?

What did you do to me?

BILLY:
All right, Dorothea.

Man, it's cold right over here.

One word. A name.

Is this Ronda?

This could be a victim.

Feel -- feel --
feel right here.

AARON: It's freezing.

He's calling.

Yeah?

Where is he?

Something's right next to me.

Identify yourself.

Who are you?

Why am I feeling this way?

There's movement here!

It's freezing.
Aaron!

He's calling.

Yeah?

Come here!

Where are you?

I'm not gonna lie,
I'm terrified right now.

Something walked up on me,
and it's right here.

And then now I just saw it move
right to left over here.

For real?
Yeah.

And I still feel like

I'm under the influence
of something.

BILLY:
Are you trapped here?

Below count.

Are there more bodies
belowground

that we do not know about?

Another single name.

This is amazing.

So that's Paul and Ronda,

which those are not victims
that are on the list.

Are you another victim,

and are you trapped here?

Paul?

Whoa.
It got real cold.

Come on.

Paul, are you trapped here?

Oh, my God.

Under.

[ Sighs ]

Trap.
He's trapped here!

Someone's down here
with me right now!

He's standing right here, dude.

That's what was
talking to me!

ZAK: We're receiving signs
that the Dorothea Puente house

is even darker
than we thought.

I want you to see this 'cause
something entered the room,

and I think it's gonna talk.

[ Indistinct radio chatter ]

AARON: Whoa! Whoa.
Come here and play that back.

[ Indistinct radio chatter ]

Get out of my...

Oh, my God, dude.

I told you.

"Get out."
Oh, my God.

I knew it entered the room!

That's what was
talking to me!

Paul, are you here
with me right now?

Who is that?

Who's here?

What?

Are you walking around?

No!

Someone's down here
with me right now!

They're walking
in the kitchen.

Are you here with me right now?

Who is that?

ZAK: Aaron and I
immediately head downstairs

to find out
what Billy is hearing.

So we ask who is
down here with him.

Did you hear that?
Oh!

[ Clock chiming ]

Who did we just hear?

Bodies.

There are multiple what?

[ Both gasp ]

Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.

Hell!

Spirits, hell.

And business.
Business.

Business, man.
It was all about business.

It was all --
It was her.

Oh, my God.

What should be done?

Oh, my God.
Digging.

Cement!

What was the person's name
who was found under the cement?

"Anthony within pine."
A pine box?

Maybe another --
Like it was saying,

if there was 15 victims,

this could be
another dude's name

that's not anywhere around.

Mandy!

Mandy's in the east
of the property,

under the cement.

Holy...
Look by the east.

Let's see, south...
Jay got something
in the east.

So that means
that side of the house.

Hey, Jay, did you get
something with "east"?

Yeah, I did, when I asked where
the rest of her body was buried.

It said "buried east."

ZAK: We now ask the spirit
where exactly Mandy is buried

on the east side
of the property.

And the response if amazing.

A person
is under the foliage.

Mandy completes
the number of names

we received
throughout the night,

totaling six people.

When added to the documented
nine murder victims

whose bodies were found,

the total equals 15.

Is it possible that these are
the names of the remaining,

unidentified victims?

I'm now going to use
the SLS camera

in a final attempt
to see if my hunch is correct

and Dorothea Puente

has been hiding from us
this entire time.

Dorothea, I know
you're hiding from us.

We're gonna come back
and look for you back here.

If you're here,
we will see you.

Oh, my God.

This is her.
No way.

Yeah.

Just as I thought,

she's standing right here,
dude.

Holy crap.

She's in the back room
back there, Aaron.

I knew she was
standing back here.

Dorothea, is this you?

I just had a feeling
that she was back here,

just like the psychic said
that Dorothea is detached.

She's hiding and watching us.

She was kind of
standing back, like an --

and I wanted her
to come forward,

but she wouldn't.

You must leave here, Dorothea.

You must leave Peggy alone.

These spirits here,

you cannot control
anything in this house.

It's not your house.

You must leave now and go
and take your punishment.

Man, she's going crazy now.

She's going everywhere.

Arms going up everywhere,
just moving.

She's probably pissed
that we found her.

She needs to
face the music.

And boom, she's gone.

She disappeared?
She just disappeared.

Yeah, that was
a clean map figure.

I knew that she was
back in this room.

I had a feeling.

And I swear that was her.

Even the nephew said that the
bad feeling is in the back here.

And I banished her.
She's gone.

She's not gonna
stay here anymore.
