Chasing UFOs (2012–…): Season 1, Episode 2 - Dirty Secrets - full transcript

Residents in central California fear they are being watched after witnessing unusual objects patrolling the night skies.

Male: What is that thing?

It's low too and it's big.

That's a freaking triangle
if I ever saw one.

NARRATOR: This time
on Chasing UFOs.

In California's
San Joaquin Valley.

Manuel Amparano: I saw what
appeared to be a fire.

This fire started lifting.

NARRATOR: A rash of mysterious
sightings spark rumours that a

secret military base is
experimenting with alien

technology.

Justin Moncrief: All of
a sudden out of nowhere,

a caravan of
unmarked trucks came.

NARRATOR: Seeking
answers, Ryder,

Ben and James travel to Fresno,
where the local sky watchers

believe they're the
ones being watched.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: Wherever I
came to investigate a case on

UFOs, white vehicles
seem to follow.

NARRATOR: Will the harsh
conditions force them to drop

the case?

Erin Ryder: Oh my god.

NARRATOR: Or will what they find
put not only the investigation,

but themselves at risk.

Ben McGee: Under the tree James.

Male: What we have here
is not any Earthly craft.

Ben McGee: Did you see that?

There's usually a more
conventional explanation for

unidentified things that people
are seeing if you take the time

to look for them.

Erin Ryder: For the
first time in my life,

I'm caught believing that the
possibility of UFOs is all too

real.

James Fox: For me to be out
here looking for evidence,

this is it.

This is what I live for.

This is what I've
been dreaming about.

Erin Ryder: Oh my God!

James Fox: Wow!

Erin Ryder: We are in route to
Fresno to investigate this rash

of triangle sightings.

For decades, people have
reported seeing unidentified

objects in the sky.

What's really interesting is how
similar all these encounters are

People have said that they've
seen strange triangular crafts.

We have one of those videos
I think is from 2010.

Ben McGee: Yeah, I'm
looking at that right now.

James Fox: Let's check it out.

FeMale: Look at it. Look at
it. Male: Looks all triangley.

FeMale: It is!
Male: It's a triangle?

FeMale: Yeah.
Male: Zero in on it.

FeMale: I am. I am. I am. I am.

James Fox: It looks like
it's got a beacon light or.

Ben McGee: Yeah, it's just a
sort of a terrestrial appearing

strobe.

James Fox: Yeah, but it
definitely is shaped like a

triangle.

All these reports
of these silent,

huge triangular shaped craft
has peaked my interest.

I want to find out who's
piloting these things and where

they come from.

Ben McGee: I mean, obviously we
got to point out that if you

look at a landing light and two
wings -- that makes a triangle.

The shape of these alleged
objects as triangular to me is a

dead giveaway that what we might
be looking at is misidentified

aircraft.

Erin Ryder: The interesting
thing about the main eyewitness

who actually captured this video
is that she wants to keep her

identity a secret.

And the reason being is that
she's started believing that

she's being followed and kind of
a little bit paranoid about her

safety and family's safety
after shooting this video.

Our first stop is to meet with
an eyewitness that we're calling

Sarah.

We've had to actually hide her
real identity because she says

that she's been under
surveillance ever since posting

a UFO video online.

Why don't you tell us a little
about the encounter you had on

the night of August 22nd.

Sarah: Well my husband,
he was outside,

talking on the phone and he
knocked on the window because he

saw something in the sky.

And so I got my camera and I
went out there and that's when

we saw lights and what
appears to be a triangle.

Male: That's a freaking
triangle if I ever saw one.

Zero in on it.
FeMale: I am. I am I am I am.

Sarah: It was huge and
it had an underbelly light.

It wasn't a typical plane
or anything of that nature.

We see a lot of aircraft
because the airport is not too,

too far away, but
they all make noise.

You couldn't hear a
sound from this thing.

It was just quiet.

Ever since I put my
tapes up on YouTube,

we get people that watch us.

Ben McGee: How do you know
you're being watched?

Sarah:Well, sometimes they look
like they're taking photos.

And then when you end up looking
out the window or start filming

them, they run off.

It sounds kind of paranoid
but it's the truth.

It's scary.

James Fox: I find Sarah's
story really compelling.

I've heard about these massive
triangular shaped silent UFOs

for a long time now.

Erin Ryder: I don't think I've
ever spoken to somebody who had

that much to say and yet didn't
want anyone to know their

identity.

We're heading crosstown to meet
with a couple that I'm hoping

can shed some light on this.

They claim to not only have seen
one of these objects in the sky,

but they believe they
witnessed one crash.

Justin Moncrief: How you doing?

Ben McGee: Thanks for seeing us.

Erin Ryder: Well, you guys had a
recent sighting and we came to

kind of just hear a little
bit about the encounter.

Eva Moncrief: Came home from the
grocery store and I notice like

some lights and stuff.

It looked like a craft, like
with lights on it, and um,

there were like sparks
flying on one side.

Justin Moncrief:
It was a craft. A flying craft.

Had kind of like a triangular
shape but it was more curved

around the edges.

It looked like a stingray
almost is the best way I can

describe it.

I thought maybe it was a
secret craft or something.

I didn't know what was going on.

And then it tried to take off
and it wouldn't even maybe just

a few feet off the ground
it started shaking.

Like all the lights came on -
looked like it was powering up

or something.

And then it just went
back down to the ground.

All of a sudden out of nowhere,
a bunch of - like a caravan - of

big trucks came and it looked
like a bunch of people jumped

out, went up to the craft and
then looked back like they did

some kind of welding.

Just like they were using a
cutting torch to cut it up.

It happened right over here
over this hill right there.

You could see the outline of
where that thing was sitting

from the driveway.

I was in the United States
Air Force, F16 crew chief,

so I know a little bit about
things that fly around.

I don't know if it was an
alien spaceship or no telling

what it was.

The more that I tried
to get it on video,

it seemed like the more
that I would be harassed.

Immediately after I have people
following me all the time in

unmarked cars and tinted
windows and just sitting outside

the front of the house.

Go to walk out there and they
leave and then I go back in and

they come right back.

Thought I was going
crazy for a minute.

You know, ever since it happened
it's just been bad stuff

happening with us.

James Fox: I've researched and
investigated alleged UFO crashes

and according to
eyewitness testimony,

the government takes the
recovered material to some

secret underground
facility, dissects it,

tries to learn from
the technology,

and from what I'm
hearing right now,

this could very likely be the
case right here in Fresno.

I thought he was a really
good witness, you guys.

Ben McGee: Me too.

Now we're onto something.

If there really were a crash
that someone could see from

miles away, that's the scale of
event that's really going to

leave trace evidence behind,
whether that's physical debris,

whether that's gouge marks.

And because it was a while ago,
and because it is a broad area

from that far away, we're going
to bring in some new toys and

see if it can help
us recon the area.

Erin Ryder: I have arranged for
us to meet with Roy Malmberg,

who is the director for
the FLIR Mobile Unit.

I'm like a kid in
a candy store here.

I mean, this thing has a dozen
thermal cameras that can pan,

and tilt, and turn,
and see over 10 miles.

Through a few eyewitnesses,
we've actually been able to kind

of pinpoint the hillside area
where they believe that this

craft potentially
landed or even crashed.

Roy Malmberg If
you pan the camera,

what you want to be looking for
is disturbed earth scenario.

Erin Ryder: These thermal
cameras are going to help us

because if something
did crash in the area,

the object would come in and act
like a giant shovel and turn up

a bunch of top soil.

When dirt's turned up like this,
it becomes less compacted and

loose soil like that retains
more heat and will show up

hotter on our thermal cameras
than the surrounding area.

Tonight, we decided that Ben
should stay back and man

the truck, while James and
I head up the mountain.

James will have the metal
detector while I'll have a

thermal camera and
a Geiger counter.

James Fox: Hey Ben, it's James.

You copy?

Ben McGee: Yeah James, I copy.

You're just behind
the rally point.

As you start moving,
consider moving upslope,

north/north east.

James Fox: Copy.

Erin Ryder: What
the hell was that?

Ben McGee: Ryder, Ryder,
this is Ben, do you copy?

Erin Ryder: Hold on Ben.

I think I found something.

Ben McGee: Copy that.
Standing by.

Erin Ryder: Well, it has
a very distinct shape.

Let's see.

Ryder for Ben, I
did find something.

Ben McGee: Yeah, believe
it or not I see that.

It's very cold, whatever it is.

Erin Ryder: This right here is
a very, very unusual dog toy.

Ben McGee: Copy that.

Erin Ryder: Alright, well,
this investigations going to

the dogs.

Hopefully that's not
my only find tonight.

Ben McGee: James and Ryder,
James and Ryder, this is Ben.

It looks like maybe a
differential thermal signature

upslope and to your right.

Do you guys see
anything on the ground?

James Fox: Stand by. I'm going
to get a closer look. Over.

Erin Ryder: Damn it.

I feel like we're on to
something over here.

This area up here
looks kind of unusual.

Oh yeah.

Right in here.

It's coming off super hot.

Right here.

I mean it's like the entire
ground is just lit up like a

Christmas tree.

Ben McGee: It could
be a layer of bedrock.

It could also be an
underground storage tank.

Maybe a septic tank.

Let me take a closer look.

Ryder and James,
Ryder and James. Stand by.

Hold your movement. Over.

James Fox: What is it?

Ben McGee: Guys, I've got
movement 30 yards above you.

Don't move.

Ben McGee: I have a vehicle
up the ridge that came out of

nowhere.

It was just sitting there but
now it seems to be tracking you.

Erin Ryder: Sounds like what the
local sky watchers have reported

following them.

If that's the case, we could
have someone tailing us so we're

going to call it a night
and head back to the truck.

Ben McGee: Affirmative.

Erin Ryder: I would say that we
were being tailed by the same

vehicle that our witnesses
have reported following them.

It wasn't worth
taking any chances,

so we decided to get out of
there as quickly as possible.

So I tracked down a UFO
investigator who believes

he's had similar experiences
in the same area.

He might be able to tell us more
about what the hell that truck

was doing there last night.

James Fox: Hell of
a rig you got there.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: Thanks.

Erin Ryder: So this
is the command center?

Jeffrey Gonzalez: This is it.

Erin Ryder: Look at this.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: Yeah, um, I
had to place security cameras

all around my house
for safety reasons.

I believe I'm getting really,
really close to finding out

what's really
going on in Fresno,

especially in north Fresno.

I'm being followed
now from work to home.

You know, white vehicles.

Wherever I seem to
investigate a case on UFOs,

white vehicles seem to follow.

And that's why I'm glad you
guys are here in Fresno.

To actually publicize this
because I think it's going

to lift a lot of weight
off my shoulders.

Erin Ryder: Jeffrey is now the
3rd person to tell us that

he feels
like he's being watched.

And just last night, I'm pretty
certain we were being followed.

So now, more than ever, I feel
like we really need to find out

what's going on here.

Jeffrey Gonzalez:
Smile, You're on camera.

This is where I
do my radio show.

Ben McGee: Wow. Very nice.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: Welcome.

I put this studio together
because with all the paranormal

activity happening here in
Fresno, including UFOs,

a lot of people wanted to
know what was going on,

so I put a show together
to let everybody know.

James Fox: If someone
witnesses a UFO, films a UFO,

would they contact you?

Would you bring them on the
radio station and then transmit?

Jeffrey Gonzalez: I do have
witnesses on the radio show all

the time.

Many people have witnessed
unidentified flying objects

being chased out of the airport.

Ben McGee: You don't think maybe
a joint exercise or something

like that?

Jeffrey Gonzalez: Um, I have
military friends and they said

if the military were
testing top-secret crafts,

they would not be
testing them over Fresno.

Somebody with a camera could
easily get it on tape.

Since the late 1940s, early
50s, we've had an underground

facility north of Fresno.

Dry creek reservoir.

This is a location that a lot of
people have witnessed triangles

coming from around the mountain.

And it's also the location where
the triangle crash occurred.

Ben McGee: So what Jeffrey's
telling us is allegedly there's

some sort of enormous military
instillation underneath the

outskirts of Fresno that has
something to do with the UFOs

that he's researched
in the area.

If that's true, there's got to
be some sort of huge structure

associated with it that we're
going to be able to find.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: So, this is
the area that I want to bring to

your attention.

This levee here, it
sits up over the houses,

so you can not see into
this valley at all.

It's a beautiful spot to hide
something if you're practicing.

Erin Ryder: And what about
underground areas or tunnels?

James Fox: What was that?

Jeffrey Gonzalez: That guy was
parked out there in the corner

for the longest time.

Ben McGee: Couldn't it
just be a coincidence?

Jeffrey Gonzalez: I'm
glad you guys saw that. Yes!

That's very cool.

James Fox: I'm going
incognito from here on out.

Jeffrey kept pulling me aside
and talking about these white

vehicles everywhere.

And quite honestly,
seeing that white van,

maybe there's something to it.

Erin Ryder: Careful guys.
Looks really steep.

Ben McGee: I'm going to
head down to the bridge.

James Fox: How far away is that
mountain range right there?

Jeffrey Gonzalez:
Ten miles maybe?

James Fox: Jeffrey is taking us
to this mountain range where he

believes is some sort of super
secret military installation

housing alien technology.

Ben McGee: Slow and
steady wins the race.

James Fox: I've
heard of area 51,

I've heard of things at
Utah, I have not heard about

these underground
facilities in Fresno,

so I am very curious
to check it out.

Jeffrey, where
are you taking us?

If there is such a military
installation up here,

there's going to be some
sort of sign somewhere.

A road, a tunnel, a fence.

Something.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: I'd say this
is probably a good spot to go

ahead and separate.

Erin Ryder: OK.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: If you go
up there about 100 yards,

you'll see this peak,
perfect spot for a camera.

Erin Ryder: Alright, so
we're going to head up.

We'll put a surveillance camera
up and we'll let you know when

it's in place.

James Fox: Alright
Jeffrey Gonzalez: Alright.

Erin Ryder: People in the area
have reported seeing strange

crafts flying in and
out of these mountains.

So we're going to try to get a
high point to try to set up a

camera to actually capture
some footage of that.

Looks like there's
a drop right here.

Right before we
need to go back up.

Ben McGee: Yeah, I don't think
we want to do that free.

You up for some repelling?

Erin Ryder: Why not?

Let's do it before we
lose too much daylight.

Oh.

Ready to rock and roll?

Ben McGee: Ready to rumble.

Erin Ryder: Alright.

Let's do this.

OK Nice and slow.

Got a big drop right here.

A lot of little
crevices in here.

Oh my God!

Woah.

Ben McGee: You alright?

Erin Ryder: Yup.

It's a beautiful night
to fall to my doom.

Ooh. Careful. You got it.
Ben McGee: Yeah, I know.

I gotta work my
way over this way.

Clear.

Erin Ryder: OK.

Well, looks like if
we move up this way,

we'll be able to kind of skirt
along this ledge here and make

it back up the other side.

James Fox: Ryder, this
is James, do you copy? Over?

Erin Ryder: Hey James.

We just made the descent and
we're going to skirt this ravine

right here and make it up to the
vantage point and set the camera

up.

James Fox: Fantastic, so you
guys we're going to get to the

bottom of it no matter
what happens tonight.

Over and out.

Erin Ryder: Alright,
well let's get moving.

Nights a wasting.

James Fox: Hey, what else can
you tell me about the military

base?

Jeffrey Gonzalez: Um, people
that I know who pulled me aside

and told me that there was an
underground facility near Black

Mountain.

James Fox: Like military guys?

Jeffrey Gonzalez: Yeah.

And um, you know, once I
told them, I go You know,

I heard some rumours and I
mentioned the name Black

Mountain and they kind of
like looked at me, you know,

like stunned a little bit?

And one of them actually said,
you know, I can't talk about it.

So I knew I was in
the right direction.

James Fox: Wow.

This thing is huge.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: In order for
us to get on the other side,

we're going to have to climb it.

James Fox: Let's rock
and roll. Jeffrey Gonzalez: OK.

Take your time. Take your time.

James Fox: Alright, we got it.
Cool, we're in. Good job man.

Ben McGee: This
is the high point.

Erin Ryder: Oh yeah.

Ben McGee: What do you think?

Erin Ryder: Pretty great.

If there's anything
flying through the sky.

Ben McGee: We're not
going to miss it.

Erin Ryder: Absolutely not.

Ben McGee: Let's
get this set up.

Erin Ryder: You want
to set up the camera?

Ben McGee: Yeah.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: This goes down
about 175 yards to 100 yards.

James Fox: What's in here?

Jeffrey Gonzalez: You'll
see at the very end.

James Fox: Spooky in here.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: If there was
an underground facility in this

area?

Obviously they had to start
building it from some place.

Can you still hear?
Can you still hear that humming?

James Fox: Yes.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: It's
not like it stopped.

It's getting louder.
Now check this out.

James Fox: What the
EXPLETIVE is that?

Jeffrey Gonzalez: Look at that.

I mean, what does
that look like to you?

James Fox: It looks like a ramp.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: It's a 40-foot
cement ramp up to a cement wall

and then you have a tunnel with
a steel door at the very end.

I mean, this is something that
you see out of a sci-fi movie.

I mean isn't that creepy?

James Fox: I have no
idea what that is.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: I mean it's
like sound of Jeffrey banging

I've never seen anything
like that ever in my life.

James Fox: Check it out.

It's 35 right now.

Ben said that anything over 15.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: Is not good.

James Fox: Thirty-five.

Thirty-five, its like triple
background but it could be all

this rock causing
the high readings.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: There's
a steel door back there.

James Fox: Yeah, I know. This
is all like cemented in. Shhhh.

Did you hear that?

What the EXPLETIVE was that?

Let's get the hell out of here.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: Yeah,
I'm with you on that one.

Erin Ryder: Oh.

Something else flying in.

Ben McGee: I see it.

Erin Ryder: Two lights.

No contrail on this one.

Ben McGee: Well that'll give
you a hint at its altitude.

A lot of people don't realize
the atmosphere actually doesn't

get cold all the way up.

Erin Ryder: Alright, well, let's
leave the camera and start

hiking back down.

We got a long climb.

Alright.

Is that camera
all set up and good?

Ben McGee: Yup.
We're in position.

Erin Ryder: OK.

We'll come retrieve
it in the morning.

Ben McGee: No James.

Erin Ryder: Well, we'll
give him a couple minutes.

Sure he'll be here.

Ben McGee: James and
Jeffrey, James and Jeffrey,

this is Ben and Ryder at the
rendezvous point at the bridge,

do you copy?

Nothing.

He sounded a little
concerned, don't you think?

Erin Ryder: Yeah.

Holy EXPLETIVE.

Ben McGee: James, what happened?

James Fox: We went down
this long, dark tunnel.

We had zero radio
communication with you guys.

And we get down to the end and
our Geiger counter is going off

like 35.

Jeffrey Gonzalez:Oh,
it went 35. Ben McGee: Really?

James Fox: Yeah,
between 35 and up to 40.

We get to the end of it and
there's like this huge steel

door encased with water dripping
everywhere, like little canals,

it was just really spooky.

Jeffrey Gonzalez: For Fresno,
for something like that,

that just doesn't
make any sense to me.

James Fox: What did you guys do?

Erin Ryder: We didn't really see
anything out of the ordinary.

Saw some really terrestrial,
commercial craft.

I mean, if we leave that
thing up there for, you know,

another hour or two and
who knows what we'll find.

James Fox: So we found evidence
of an underground facility.

The only question is: is this
the base everyone's been talking

about under Fresno?

That is what we
need to find out.

Erin Ryder: So we're heading
west out of Fresno to the town

of Kerman.

There we'll meet with a former
police officer who actually had

some sort of a close encounter
with what he said was a UFO that

actually left him injured.

We want to find out how he got
hurt and whether the object he

saw is similar to the triangles
others report seeing.

What happened to you
on May 13th, 1978?

Manuel Amparano: I had a patrol
check on the Kerman high school.

Some kids had been breaking into
the Agriculture building over

there and vandalizing it.

So, when I set my spotlight off
and I turn my vision to look

Southbound, I saw what appeared
to be a fire in a tree.

And as I come up, this
fire started lifting.

I said what the heck?

and it went up probably a
hundred, two hundred feet.

And it stopped.

Having been in the service, I
saw helicopters, jet fighters.

I seen them in combat too and
I know what they look like and

what they sound like,
and this object,

it wasn't making a sound.

I saw sparks, you know, like
when someone is using a cutting

torch on metal?

They shot out.

James Fox: From the object.

Manuel Amparano: From the object
and then simultaneously there

was a bluish, white
flash of light.

And then it just took off in the
South-easterly direction like

nothing I've ever seen before.

Erin Ryder: You actually
sustained some physical injuries

from this.

Can you talk a little
bit about that?

Manuel Amparano: I had like a
tingling sensation but I assumed

that was, you know, from my
adrenaline from watching

this object.

And I was sunburned,
I was all red.

James Fox: Like your whole face?

Manuel Amparano: My
whole face, my neck,

and everything and I just stood
there looking in the mirror and

I couldn't believe that.

The burning sensation that I
started to get was getting

really bad.

And so my wife says I'm taking
you to the doctor and they

couldn't figure out how I
got the burns and they were

discussing that and I guess
finally they figured that

the only thing that can burn a
person through clothing would be

like microwaves.

Ben McGee: Given the right
wavelength and intensity,

it is possible to be burned
by radiation at a distance.

So on it's face it's not
impossible that officer Amparano

was burned by
radiation from afar.

The only question
would be from what?

Erin Ryder: Have you saved any
articles that you were wearing

at the time of the incident?

Manuel Amparano: I got
my shirt and my helmet.

A nightstick and a flashlight.

I had the car that night.

Plus, you know, I got medical
reports from the hospital.

Erin Ryder: We want to get
these items to a lab and get

them tested to see if there's
any left over trace evidence.

Radiation or
unidentified residue.

We also want to test the fibres
to see if they were subjected to

intense heat.
James Fox: Wow.

Manuel Amparano: Type of
shirt you wore back then.

James Fox: This is the actual
shirt you were wearing.

Manuel Amparano: Yes.

Ben McGee: It's in great shape.

James Fox: You take
good care of your stuff.

Manuel Amparano: This helmet was
in the car with me and this is

the flashlight I had.

James Fox: This is the original
flashlight you had that night?

Manuel Amparano: Yeah, my wife
bought that for me in the 70s.

James Fox: Wow.

Erin Ryder: Is there anyway
that we could take these back

with us and actually have
them tested in a lab?

Manuel Amparano:
Yeah, if you want.

Erin Ryder: It'd be interesting
if we could just turn up

anything at all from.

Ben McGee: Sure or at least
eliminate some possibilities.

Erin Ryder: Sure.

James Fox: I'm convinced that
Officer Amparano was close

enough to this UFO that it
actually physically affected his

body.

This is what we in the UFO
community call a close encounter

of the 2nd kind.

Ben McGee: I don't know
what happened 30 years ago,

but strong enough radiation
can burn your skin.

Even if that's the case though,
without more data I can't

possibly say what it
was he actually saw.

Erin Ryder: Amparano's story
is definitely incredible.

And while he doesn't mention
a triangular shaped craft,

it's the movement that's
interesting to me.

He describes a craft hovering
just above the treeline and then

it takes off which is really
similar to what others have

described.

In fact, we're going to meet
with a couple that say they've

actually captured video of an
object hovering just above them

and then it took off.

Tell us a little bit about the
encounter and what happened

before you shot that video.

Jamar Spicer: Basically we were
just driving down the street.

You know, I notice a stationary
object with lights on it

hovering above a house.

I thought it was kind of odd
because I've been down that

street so many times.

So, I immediately pulled over
and she pulled out the camera

and she started filming.

Cholee Spicer: What
is that thing then?

Sitting, just blinking
right next to the moon.

Not moving.

What is that?

But it was just weird because
it was hovering there and right

when I got the camera up it
started going up and then

it started moving
across the street.

I know it wasn't a plane because
I see planes all the time.

Jamar Spicer: And
the thing about it,

there's no noise at that height.

Look.

It's going towards the moon.

Cholee Spicer: I see it.

Jamar Spicer: You know, normally
you would think maybe it could

be a helicopter, but
there's no sound.

We didn't hear any sound.

Ben McGee: If you had
to ballpark it's size.

Erin Ryder: Yeah.
Ben McGee: Are we talking 747?

Jamar Spicer: No, it's probably
the size of a small truck or

even a small car.

It's not even that big.

James Fox: If someone says, hey,
you guys are obviously seeing

conventional aircraft, or a
stealth bomber, or an airplane,

how do you respond to that?

What would you say?

Jamar Spicer: There is no plane
that could be a couple telephone

poles in height and no sound.

Cholee Spicer: Yeah, we had
all the windows rolled down.

Jamar Spicer: And hover right
there enough to where you could

slow down your
car and literally.

Cholee Spicer: Look up
at it. Jamar Spicer: Look at it.

I don't know what kind
of plane would do that.

Erin Ryder: So you believe that
these UFOs or unidentified

crafts, are actually
extra-terrestrial.

Jamar Spicer: Yeah,
I would think so.

Of some kind.

Cholee Spicer: But it's kind of
weird that a lot of them are by

the airport though, too.

Jamar Spicer: Yeah, I've heard
there's some weird stuff going

on around the airport.

James Fox: Huh.

Ben McGee: It's not clear to me
what they're using to judge the

size and distance of the
objects they're seeing.

So, I'm a little sceptical, but
if all signs are pointed to the

airport than let's
go to the airport.

James Fox: That's
pretty amazing.

Ben McGee: Yeah. Think we
head to the airport.

Erin Ryder: Hearing this story
from Jamar and Cholee has given

us more information
than you'd think.

It's a really recent report that
took place near the airport so

it gives us a lot to go on.

After looking at the possible
direction of the tunnel James

found last night, along with
all the eyewitness testimonies,

what we found was a
concentration of sightings,

not only by the mountains
but also around the airport.

So what we need to do is figure
out is this just a simple

misidentification of aircraft or
is it something more mysterious?

We found a secluded area nearby
where we can set up for the

night investigation.

We brought in a telescope,
infrared camera,

and parabolic microphone.

If anything out of the
ordinary is going on here,

we'll be able to not only
detect it but record it.

James Fox: Holy
EXPLETIVE, what is that?

Ben McGee: It's the
international space station.

Right there, moving
left to right.

Erin Ryder: What do you got?

Ben McGee: It's the
international space station

right there. See that?

You can't miss it.

It's bright; it's like a star.

That's the largest thing
we've ever had in orbit.

Erin Ryder: How
fast is that moving?

Ben McGee: Uh, velocity for the
lower earth's orbit is like 8

kilometres per second.

James Fox: How many
people are on it?

Ben McGee: I think
there are six right now.

It's close to like a
football field wide.

It's got these huge-wing
like solar panels.

That's why it's so
bright right now.

It's reflecting the sun on
the other side of the planet.

Erin Ryder: Well, I don't know
about you guys but I really want

to get as close as I can and
try to get eyes on the entire

airport to see if I can
spot any strange activity.

James Fox: Alright, I'm going to
get the parabolic and I'll just

monitor everything I can in
the skies and see what kind of

sounds I come up with.

Ben McGee: And I'll stay on the
telescope and keep an eye on

the sky.

James Fox: Watch out
for those warning signs.

It's there for a reason.

James Fox: Good luck.
Ben McGee: Be careful.

James Fox: I say
we give her a week.

Erin Ryder: Well, there it is.

Ryder for Ben and
James, do you copy?

James Fox: Copy yes.

Erin Ryder: I've made it to
right outside the airport

security fence.

Going to try to get as close
as I can without, well,

getting in trouble I guess.

Ben McGee: Copy that Ryder.

Just
be sure not to push it. Over.

Erin Ryder: I'm going to go
off walkie for a little bit.

If you don't hear from
me in an hour or so,

don't call the national guard.

Ben McGee: Copy that Ryder.

Be stealthy. Over.

Erin Ryder: It's like
bright as day out here.

There's nowhere to hide.

It's definitely obvious I'm
not supposed to be back here.

This definitely doesn't look
like a municipal airport.

If I had to guess, I would say
they have some type of a bunker

in there.

Ryder for Ben and James.

Ben McGee: Go ahead.

Erin Ryder: Ok guys.

I'm right outside the
airport's perimeter.

There is definitely more going
on here than meets the eye.

Ben McGee: Oh man.

James Fox: What the hell
is she doing out there?

Oh my god, someone's here.

I wonder if they saw me.

Let's see if I can start
making my way back.

EXPLETIVE.

Ben McGee: You hear
that acceleration?

James Fox: Yeah, I
heard that acceleration.

Ben McGee: Ryder Ryder.
This is Ben. Come back.

I don't know if we're
going to get her.

Ryder, this is Ben.

It's been a while.

Do you need assistance?
Come back.

James Fox: Sounds
like a helicopter.

Erin Ryder: Copy.
I gotta go guys. I gotta go.

Ben McGee: I think that's coming
from near Ryder's position!

Erin Ryder: That is definitely
a military helicopter.

Holy EXPLETIVE.

Is that a helicopter
taking off right now?

James Fox: Oh yeah,
that's a helicopter. Chopper.

Ben McGee: There it is.
Low to the ground. Way low.

James Fox: Military chopper.

Ben McGee: Son of a bitch.

That's a searchlight.

James Fox: Looks like
it's coming towards us.

Ben McGee: Under the tree.

I'm serious James,
under the tree.

James Fox: Man, it's
coming towards us.

Ben McGee: Yes!
Under the tree James!

James Fox: He's literally
circling us right now.

Ben McGee: Yup.

Ryder Ryder.

Come back.

Erin Ryder: I'm literally
trapped over here.

Going to have to
make a run for it.

EXPLETIVE

Ben McGee: God, I hope she made
it out from under that thing.

James Fox: Ryder,
it's Ben and James.

Where are you? Over.

Erin Ryder: Guys. Guys.

James Fox: Jesus Christ!

Where the hell have you been?

Ben McGee: Are you OK?

Erin Ryder: Literally, I'm
coming along the fence and

someone comes at me
with flashlights.

Ben McGee: Oh EXPLETIVE

Erin Ryder: Next thing you know,
a EXPLETIVE helicopter's blades

start up.

James Fox: And it came right
around like this and Ben's

screaming at me.

I got my headphones on.

I can't hear him.

Ben McGee: I'm telling
him Get under the tree.

Erin Ryder: I think we've
overstayed our welcome enough.

We've got great footage, I think
we should cut our losses now.

Ben McGee: Let's
not push our luck.

Erin Ryder: Yeah.
Let's get out of here.

Back in our office, we got right
to work looking deeper into our

findings from the Fresno area.

I did a bunch of research, and
those tunnels you found are

connected to a nearby
hydroelectric plant.

But I can't help thinking they
could also be used to access

underground bases if
there is such a thing.

James Fox: It's really bizarre.

This is a suspicious looking
white van out where we were

doing our investigations.

Kind of odd.

Erin Ryder: Absolutely.

Take a look at this.

I looked up the license plate
but couldn't find anything

conclusive here.

James Fox: Oh wow. Look at that.

Erin Ryder: It's
really, really strange.

James Fox: Really.

Erin Ryder: So after further
research into the tunnels that

we found and all the
white vans we saw,

we couldn't find any concrete
evidence tying these to the UFO

sightings in Fresno so
the mystery continues.

We've got the Amparano evidence.

We had the articles that he gave
us tested and unfortunately

the tests didn't reveal anything
out of the ordinary but I think

we can say that with the medical
records, and with his testimony,

that something absolutely
happened to him.

Manuel Amparano: I
saw sparks, you know,

like when someone is using
a cutting torch on metal?

James Fox: Classic case of a
close encounter of the 2nd kind

and I totally believe him.

I find his testimony
absolutely bullet proof.

His credibility solid.

He is the reason why
I investigate UFOs.

Ben McGee: So after
further research,

we determined that the Air
National Guard, 144th wing,

is stationed in Fresno.

James Fox: That would explain
some of the military activity.

However, I'm convinced there
are bona fide UFOs flying over

Fresno.

Male: What is that thing?

Ben McGee: There's something
really strange about this.

I haven't seen any evidence of
extra-terrestrial spacecraft

over the skies of Fresno.

I think what people are seeing
are a combination of military

and civilian aircraft.

Not flying saucers
being piloted by aliens.

Erin Ryder: Do we know all
that the military owns and is

operating in the air?

We don't and therefore they
could still be unidentified

to us.

Male: There it is right there.

Erin Ryder: So what people are
seeing in this area could simply

be misidentification of
military aircraft and

it's as simple as that.
