Catfish: The TV Show (2012–…): Season 4, Episode 18 - Hundra & Emily - full transcript

Hundra never planned on falling in love with a girl and now she is risking coming out on national TV to learn if her love with Emily is for real. Special guest Machine Gun Kelly teams with Nev to reveal a shocking Catfish.

>> Is this them pulling up?

We get out?

>> Yeah.

>> Sucker.

You are a sucker.

>> Kelly, don't go over there.

>> Hell, no.

I'm telling her, man.

[bleep] that.

>> So why are you smiling?

What's funny?

>> You're not a hero.

You are a shameful citizen.

And she runs away from her

problems.

Like, what a coward, dude.

You're a coward, man.

Are you kidding me?

You know what the [bleep]

I had to do to get here?

>> Thank you.

>> You guys don't know it yet,

but there are very

special guests on this episode.

You're gonna like 'em.

He's a busy man.

He was just doing a performance

or something, so we had to meet

here in Philly.

>> Hey.

>> Super excited to have

Machine Gun Kelly.

>> * My city, my city

>> He's a bad-boy rapper.

He's an actor.

MGK.

>> * Till I die

* Till I die

>> Been hearing about you.

You've been starring

in all my brother's movies.

>> Got to meet

the kid brother, man.

Nice.

>> Welcome to the show.

>> Thank you.

>> Have you seen the show?

>> Of course.

I'm rooting for love.

>> Wow. Already.

>> Already.

>> Rooting for love.

Okay, good.

I don't even know the story.

All I know is that it's

somewhere

in the Philadelphia area,

which is why we met here.

Have a seat.

>> Okay.

>> So you've been

in my brother's last two movies

that haven't come out yet--

"Viral" and "Nerve"...

>> Yeah.

>> Which is how we kind

of know each other.

>> Yeah, yeah, yeah.

>> So have you met Max?

>> I haven't met Max.

>> Maybe you'll be

in his next movie?

Who knows?

Yeah, just eye--

just give him the eye.

[laughter]

Let's find out

what the story is.

>> Oh, dude, this is sick.

>> We got one.

The subject is--

>> "This is so much more than

just finding out the truth."

>> "Dear Nev, my name is Hundra.

I am a 21-year-old girl

from Philadelphia.

Please could you help me?

I met an amazing girl

named Emily from New York City

on Facebook nine months ago.

>> * I had a feeling you broke

* And the smoke filled you up

>> "We started out as friends,

but our relationship

grew into so much more."

>> * Again, again, again

* I wasn't thinking 'bout you *

* I wasn't thinking 'bout you *

>> "Emily is my first girlfriend

and the first girl

I ever felt this way for.

She made me feel like it's okay

to be myself and love

who I choose."

>> * But in a week

* Might our weakness elude

>> "I still love her, but I feel

like she's playing a game.

Even though we both live close,

when I try to meet her,

it always falls apart.

I even drove to her place

one day,

and at the last minute,

she told me she had left town."

>> Oh, no.

>> "I know you guys

hear a lot of stories.

However, my situation

is different.

Me asking you for help is risky.

I may lose a lot doing this.

I say this because my family

is from Haiti."

>> Oh.

"And we come from a very strict

way of life."

>> "Homosexuality is not

tolerated."

>> Crazy.

>> "I have not told my family

that I am dating women and run

the risk of them disowning me."

Jeez.

"I really care for this girl,

and I'm willing to show

the world who I am

to get the answers I need.

Can you guys help?"

>> Yes.

For sure, 'cause

this Emily girl is getting

on my nerves right now.

>> I mean,

that's a really big deal,

especially in her case, where,

you know, her family

is against homosexuality.

>> They're probably, like,

super strict.

Should we call her?

>> I think we should.

[line trilling]

>> Hey.

>> Hi.

>> How you doing?

>> I'm doing fine.

>> So Max couldn't be

on this episode.

He's editing his film,

but we got a guy.

I think you're gonna really like

him.

His professional name

is Machine Gun Kelly,

but you can call him Kells.

>> Okay.

I think I'm gonna

call him Kells.

>> So we read your email.

I have to say it's very brave

of you to let us help you,

because this is your coming out.

>> Yeah.

>> How are you feeling

about that right now?

>> Honestly,

I'm a little nervous.

She's the only girl

I've felt that way about.

I still want to do it for myself

and other Haitian kids around,

because I know, like,

being gay is not something that

we're supposed to think about.

>> Have you had relationships

in the past?

>> Yeah. I've had a lot

of relationships with boys.

I just got my heart

broken not too long ago.

>> Is Emily the only woman

you can see yourself with?

>> Yeah, she is,

because that's the only female

that I've been "conversating"

with on that type of level.

>> How did you and Emily meet?

>> I contacted her when I had

gotten my heart broken by my ex.

I was feeling gay for a day,

so I'm like, "Hey,

let me just be gay for a day

and see what happens."

I was just

going through Facebook

looking at girls' pictures.

I came across her picture.

I'm like, "Oh, snap.

This girl's really cute.

Let me just hit her up

and see what happens,

and we hit off

right then and there.

And then she gave me her number.

She opened up

to me about her personal

situations with her family.

How hard it was

for her to come out.

She made me understand

it's okay to be gay.

I really do love her,

and she's pretty.

>> So that's part

of the package to you,

like, she has to be

who she looks like?

>> I would hope so.

>> And you said you guys

have tried to meet up before?

>> Yeah. I actually tried

to drive to her.

She made it seem

like she was still home,

everything like that.

So, when I drove there, it

was supposed to be a surprise.

Then when I got there, I was

like, "Hey, I'm in New York.

Where are you at?"

She was just like, "Oh,

I'm gone on family vacation."

And then on a couple occasions,

she said that something

was wrong with her car.

I was nice enough to even

send her money

to try to get her car

on the road.

>> Oh, no.

So why do you keep texting her

if you know that she's giving

you, like, the spin-around?

>> 'Cause I want to see her.

Like, I just feel like it's

really meant for me to meet her,

because she's made

me understand I don't have

to be scared because my parents

are gonna disown me,

but I'm just starting

to get frustrated.

I feel like I'm wasting my time.

>> I mean, your whole identity

is sort of wrapped up

in this girl who may or may not

be who she says she is,

and you need to figure this out.

So we want to help.

>> I would gladly appreciate

that.

>> If you're close by,

we can just head over there,

and we can talk

a lot more about this.

And look, if nothing else,

this is just an important moment

in your life.

Thanks for sharing with us.

I mean, that's a big deal.

>> You're welcome.

>> All right, Hundra.

Hang tight.

We will see you really soon.

>> Okay.

Thank you, guys.

>> All right.

>> both: Bye.

>> Wow.

>> I think that she's gay,

but not comfortable saying it.

I think that's why she'll keep,

like, making little excuses,

like, "I'm gay for a day."

>> It's pretty interesting.

>> It's like we're all,

like, strapped up for the ride

that we don't know

where it's going.

>> I'm excited

to meet this girl.

>> Yeah, let's do it.

>> Just a quick drive

over to Hundra.

*

>> I feel like Hundra

was so straight

to the point with everything.

>> I don't think she's the kind

of person that's gonna

have a hard time

expressing how she feels.

>> That's what

I'm talking about.

>> * Try to tell the truth

* Always

>> So this is the neighborhood.

>> Oh, it's definitely the hood

right here.

>> I don't know. Is it?

>> Oh, yeah.

>> It's not so bad around here.

>> No, it's the hood.

No, I know the hood

when I see the hood.

That's one thing I'm good for.

>> Let's do this.

Hey.

>> Hi.

>> You're tall.

>> I know, right?

Big man.

>> Yeah.

>> All right, you're cute.

>> Yeah, yeah, yeah.

And definitely stunning

in person.

>> Thank you.

>> All right, cool.

Well, let's sit down

and chat for a minute.

>> Okay.

>> So how are you feeling?

>> I'm a little nervous.

I'm about to get

on national television

and express my feeling

towards a girl.

I'm a Haitian, and to my

culture, they look at it as you

disrespecting your family.

>> Have you ever said anything

to her, like, "Hey,

if you're not being straight

with me,

like, please tell me what's up?"

>> I said it to her

not too long ago.

I was like, "Look, I'm really

thinking about doing something

that could affect my whole life

when it comes down to you,

so please tell me

what it really is."

She was just basically like,

"Oh, babe,

I would never do that to you."

>> But there's some pretty

big sort of red flags.

The first one is sending money.

>> I sent it to her

through Western Union.

She sent me a Brooklyn address,

and then when she sent me

the address she sent me a name,

but it wasn't Emily.

She said it was her cousin.

>> Did you get a confirmation

that she picked up the money?

>> I don't think

I have any of that.

>> Wow.

>> And then over the course of

the nine months, she's text me

from five different numbers.

>> Wow.

>> Five?

>> Her most recent number

is this number.

As you can see,

it's a 267 number.

>> Is that an area code

for here?

>> Yeah.

>> Which is weird, right?

>> Right.

'Cause you're in New York.

A New York area code

is 917, 347--

>> 646.

>> Yeah.

>> Well, I'm so curious.

What photos do you have?

How many pictures

has she sent you?

>> Three.

>> Wait.

The whole time you guys have

been talking, she's only

text-messaged you three

pictures?

>> Mm-hmm.

>> I don't like that.

>> I seen a couple more from

her Facebook page,

but she deactivated her Facebook

page.

>> Wow.

>> Do you have the pictures?

'Cause me and Nev

haven't seen the pictures.

>> Mm-hmm.

>> Let's see.

Oh, she's got some tats.

>> Yeah.

>> both: Okay.

>> Really cute.

>> Yes.

>> We weren't sure

if she was gonna be,

like, a Victoria's Secret model

or something.

>> No, she's regular cute.

>> It's so interesting,

'cause you seem extremely smart,

but for some reason,

like, Emily has this,

like, spot in your life that,

like, all of those things go--

like, wisp away.

>> Yeah.

>> You don't seem like the kind

of person who puts up

with people's bull[bleep].

>> No. That's

why I'm getting irked,

but I still want to know

who I've been talking to,

because that person

has made it easier

for me to find a side of myself

that I never wanted to share

with nobody else.

I'm putting so much on the line

to show to somebody that I've

been talking to for so long

that I really do love you,

'cause if I didn't, obviously,

I wouldn't be putting myself

through all this.

>> All right,

so give us the night

to kind of do some research.

Tomorrow we'll check back

in with you, let we know

what you find out.

>> The Emily mystery begins.

>> Yeah. All right. Well,

let's get out of here, then.

>> Thank you, guys.

>> All right,

we'll see you later.

>> Bye.

>> Whew. What a story.

>> Yeah, dude.

>> With a different name

on the money order...

>> It's really odd.

>> Yeah.

If Emily is in Philly...

>> Mm-hmm.

>> Then who the hell

is she sending that money to?

>> Right. I feel like she's

in that house right there.

>> I mean, she really

could be, like, anywhere.

Her not being the girl

in the pictures would be

the least of the lies

at this point.

>> All right.

Investigation time.

Hello. Can I come in, please?

>> Okay.

>> All right, thanks.

[laughs]

>> All right, so let's just go

over everything.

>> Yeah.

>> Hundra sees this cute girl

on Facebook, reaches out.

They're into each other,

obviously.

Emily says, "My car

has broke down."

So Hundra's like, "No problem.

I'll send you some money

to fix it."

Doesn't fix it,

and then Hundra

started to get fed up.

>> Hundra said that she

gave her the ultimatum

that she was gonna

go on the show.

"Are you going to really

let me do this?"

>> Right.

She'd lived her whole life

afraid to discuss her feelings

towards women.

Well, let's see

what we can figure out

about this Emily girl.

We have an email from Hundra.

"I have attached the pictures

I have of her.

Here are the phone numbers

that I still have on my phone.

The cousin who I sent money to--

I do not remember the address.

It was in Brooklyn,

but I can't find it."

So let's just try and see

if anything comes up when we

search her current phone number.

Oh, boy.

>> Yes, nice.

>> We got a match.

Geralyn...

Philadelphia.

Well, we should search Geralyn.

Geralyn, 21. Lesbian.

>> Yeah. Oh, dude!

Dude.

>> This is her Facebook page.

Hold on.

>> Ha!

>> Wait.

Let's go through these pictures.

I mean,

she's more of a boyish look...

>> Right, right.

>> As the girl in the pictures

that she sent.

Oh, wait a second.

This is where it

might get complicated,

because it looks like she

might have a girlfriend.

>> A girlfriend.

>> Okay, so here

she is making out with a girl

from seven or eight months ago.

Who is she with?

>> Dude, dude, dude.

That's the one

from the pictures earlier.

>> Which pictures?

>> Hundra's.

Doesn't that look

like Emily to you?

>> Oh, that looks

like it could be the girl.

Here we go.

Look, look.

She does have a bunch of tats.

>> That is her, dude.

>> It is her.

>> That's her.

>> So hold on a second.

So figured out who the girl

in the pictures are.

It's a girl named Melanie.

She's a lesbian.

She lives in Philadelphia,

but she seems to be

in a very serious relationship

with Geralyn.

It's looking more likely that

Hundra's talking to Geralyn.

>> Why would Geralyn pimp photos

of her girl out?

Is Melanie

in on the whole thing?

>> Maybe.

>> Are they running a scam

on multiple people?

Maybe this is all a game.

>> There's still a lot

of questions,

but I feel like we're starting

to get a little bit closer

to figuring this out.

We got to go

over all this with her.

>> Yeah.

>> All right, cool.

Let's get this going.

There's definitely a new part

of the story now,

which is Geralyn.

>> Yeah.

>> She's definitely involved

somehow,

but the fact that Melanie,

the girl in the pictures,

is actually also very likely

involved--

I'm just not sure what Hundra's

gonna make of all this.

Hi.

>> Hi, how are you?

>> What's up?

>> Hi.

>> We got a lot to talk about.

>> Okay.

>> You feeling okay

about all this?

>> I'm feeling okay.

I'm just a little nervous.

>> I think we found

some interesting clues.

We are curious to see

if you can help us add it up.

>> Right.

>> Okay, so we started

searching the phone numbers.

The number you have for her now,

her current number...

>> Yeah.

>> That comes up registered

to someone named Geralyn.

Have you ever heard that name

before?

>> No.

>> That doesn't ring any bells?

>> No.

>> So we did a search

for Geralyn,

and the first thing that comes

up is a Facebook page.

So we went to her photos,

and we were just sort of--

started going through.

>> Does she look familiar?

>> That looks like Emily,

for sure,

and it looks like they're

in a relationship, obviously.

They're kissing and touching.

>> First of all,

her name is Melanie.

Here she is.

Have you heard that name before?

>> both: No.

>> And Melanie lives in Philly.

She's got a lot of photos.

Here are two of the photos

that you got of her.

And if we go down here,

there are a lot

of pictures of them together.

And she says, "My girlfriend,

my baby."

>> * You can't get away *

* From it

* And it goes wherever you go

>> Yeah.

>> Thank you.

>> Are you okay?

>> [crying]

>> * And it goes wherever

* You go

>> Yikes.

>> She's hurt, for sure.

>> You okay?

Should we keep going?

Okay.

So that's where we're at,

which is, like, trying

to figure out what the hell

is going on here.

What are your feelings

about the idea

that you might be talking

to that girl, Geralyn?

>> I don't want that.

I'm not attracted to girls

that dress like men,

but I still want to know

who this Emily is.

>> So I feel like if

we're committed to doing

whatever we have to

to get to the truth, like,

we could reach out to Melanie.

>> Yep.

>> Right.

>> Why don't we

send her a message?

"Hey, Melanie. This is Nev

from the MTV show 'Catfish.'

Can you please contact me

at your earliest convenience?"

All right, I'm sending this.

Let us know

if you hear from her,

and we'll meet up

first thing in the morning,

and we'll figure out

what you want to do.

>> Okay.

Thank you. Bye.

Thank you.

>> Yep.

I wish that Melanie girl

would hit back.

>> If nothing happens now,

we could still reach

out to Geralyn.

>> Right.

[cell phone ringing]

Dude, dude, dude, it's her.

>> Hello.

Yeah, hi. This is Nev.

Who's this?

Yeah, we reached out to you

because there's a girl

that we've been trying

to help out who's been

talking to this girl Emily,

but uses pictures of you.

Is there any way

we can meet up with you?

Great.

Okay, so we will definitely

be in touch.

Okay, bye.

Whoa.

>> The plot thickens.

>> So let's just

call Hundra now.

[line trilling]

>> Hello?

>> Hey, Hundra.

Melanie just got back to us.

>> Mm-hmm.

>> She said

we could meet her tomorrow.

All right, cool.

>> All right.

>> Bye.

All right, man. Good day.

>> Great day.

She's not here.

>> I'm a little nervous.

>> Oh, oh, oh.

There she is.

Hi.

>> Hi.

>> How you doing?

>> Good.

>> Nev.

>> Hi, I'm Kells.

>> Kells.

>> Nice to meet you.

>> And this is Hundra,

who you don't know yet,

but you will shortly.

>> That's got to be crazy

for Hundra.

>> Yeah,

it is a little weird, yeah.

>> All right, so let me explain

what's up here.

Have a seat. Have a seat.

Basically, nine months ago,

Hundra was on Facebook

and came across a profile

of a girl named Emily

with pictures of you that,

like, really caught her eye.

We spent the last couple days

looking into this whole

situation, and we found

some interesting things.

You might actually be able to

help us make sense out of them.

>> Lay it on me. Come on.

>> Okay, so the big question

is...

>> Do you know a Geralyn?

>> Yeah, my ex-girlfriend.

>> Whoa, okay.

>> Wait.

>> You have a girlfriend now?

>> Yes.

With my girlfriend now, me and

her broke up somewhat last year.

She had went to the Army.

Me and Geralyn were friends

for a while.

We ended up getting

into a relationship.

We broke up because I was still

in love with the other girl,

so I got back

with the other girl.

>> It wasn't, like, an ugly,

nasty breakup was it?

>> No, I literally just

told her how it was.

She took it pretty--

uh...

pretty well.

>> Whoa.

Okay, because the number that

Hundra is currently talking to

her on comes up registered

to Geralyn.

>> Oh, my God.

>> I'm a little shocked.

I've been picturing

you to be Emily this whole time.

So I kept staring at her

for a long, long time.

>> Oh, my God.

I feel like she played

with your heart.

I don't know what I would have

done if that would have happened

to me.

>> No, that's okay.

>> Yeah.

>> Yeah.

All right, so now

we got to figure out what to do,

because it's looking

like Geralyn is the person

you've been talking to.

I feel like if you called her,

she probably would pick up.

>> Right, she would.

So call her?

>> Yeah.

[line trilling]

>> Yo.

So this gonna sound strange

and kind of weird,

but I'm with "Catfish."

They told me some things,

and I'm with Hundra.

You know Hundra?

>> [laughs]

>> This is funny?

Okay, well, would you be

willing to meet Hundra?

All right.

Bye.

>> Wow.

>> She was sort of trying to,

like, laugh it off a little bit.

>> Mm-hmm.

>> What does that mean for you

and Geralyn's friendship?

>> Honestly, I don't even know.

>> That's something I think

you should work out with her

separately.

>> Okay.

>> Text me her address.

We'll head over there,

and we'll talk to her,

and then maybe we'll check in

with you later.

>> Okay.

It was nice to meet you.

>> You too.

>> * Too late

* Too late to...

>> Okay.

Let's head over to Geralyn's.

>> * It goes on and on

>> It's definitely Geralyn.

>> * With every breath I take

>> But why would she make

a profile for her ex?

>> * Now I'm running *

* In circles

>> I think she wanted to try

and, like, create some drama

between Melanie

and her girlfriend.

>> Yeah, I agree.

>> * Do the right thing

* Let me fall

>> Why did she drag me

along that long?

It's like, what was the purpose

of that page?

>> * Cut the rope

* And let me fall

>> Are you a scam artist?

Were you trying to scam people,

or what is it?

>> * Cut the rope

* And let me fall

>> The thing that kills me

is she's in Philly.

Like, why would you even say

New York?

>> Well, 'cause you're here.

It was already hard

for her to come up with excuses

even just from here to New York.

>> Right.

>> But I guess she just

didn't think it was gonna turn

into something like this.

>> I wonder if Geralyn will be,

like, mad that we showed up.

>> [sighs] I don't know.

We never know what these people

that are gonna come out of the

house--what they're going to

say, how they're going to act.

I mean, you have every right

to be upset and angry,

but, like, don't let

her get the best of you.

>> Right.

>> This is it.

Here's the street.

>> [sighs]

>> [sighs] I'm a little nervous.

>> This is crazy.

>> Okay, let's do it.

>> [sighs]

>> This is the house.

You guys hang here.

I'll knock.

>> Must feel kind of nervous,

right?

'Cause I'm nervous.

You've got to feel--

>> I see it in your face.

>> Right, right, right.

I see it in your face, for sure.

Maybe you're making me nervous.

I don't know.

>> [laughs]

>> Yeah, this is gnarly.

I've never done

anything like this.

[knock at door]

Geralyn, Geralyn, Geralyn.

[door creaking]

>> Hey.

How you doing?

>> [chuckles]

>> Nev.

>> Geralyn.

>> She's nervous.

You can tell.

Still not your type?

>> Geralyn, this is Hundra,

and this is Machine Gun Kelly,

aka Kells.

>> What's up?

>> Go ahead.

>> Well, first and foremost,

you're not Emily.

>> I'm not.

I'm sorry.

[dog barking in the distance]

>> Okay.

>> Let me explain.

At first,

it was just a game to me.

>> Yeah, but I came

looking for you on the page.

It's not like you went after me.

I wrote you first.

>> I know, 'cause I was just

trying to get my ex mad.

>> Oh.

So that's Melanie, right?

>> Yeah.

>> What's that?

>> Melanie.

>> Oh, [bleep].

>> Yep.

>> Wait. Let me see that?

We're talking

about the same Melanie here?

>> Yeah.

>> Wow.

Did she get a tattoo?

>> Well, we were engaged.

Yeah, we both have--

>> You guys were engaged?

>> Yeah.

>> So you were, like, crazy

in love with this--with her.

So that must have [bleep]

sucked.

>> It did suck.

>> When she was like,

"You know what?

I think I'm still in love

with my ex."

>> Yep.

>> For Hundra,

this is the first time

she's ever really

pursued a woman.

You knew that.

>> Yep.

>> But I thought

that was a turn-on, though,

for gay girls to try

to convert a straight girl

into being straight,

so wouldn't that be something

you would have wanted

under your belt?

Like, "I converted

not just a regular black girl,

but a Haitian girl

into becoming gay."

That would have been something

you should have wanted

on your belt.

>> Well, you're making an

assumption..

>> Yeah.

>> Yeah.

>> But if I was her, like...

I don't know.

I used to tell her--

well, "Emily"--that I loved her,

and she used to tell me

that she loves me back,

and then I meet this.

It's like--

>> "This"?

>> Don't get me wrong,

but you're not Emily...

>> I know.

>> Or Melanie or whoever.

>> I'm not Emily.

I'm not a femme.

I'm me.

>> Do you have any

of the same kind of intensity

or feelings towards Hundra

that you felt for Melanie?

If there's a moment

to be totally--

>> Honest, it's now.

>> Level with her

so that she can make

the best decision for her.

Like, you've got to do that now.

>> I got it.

>> both: Yeah.

>> I was just trying

to be spiteful...

but then I actually

started to like you,

and then I felt

like I was in too deep,

and I didn't want to lose you at

the same time, but I wanted to--

>> Yeah, but you have been open

to me about a lot of things.

>> I've been real with you,

despite the pictures.

>> Well, a lot of it's not true.

I mean...

>> And then I sent you money.

Like, where's my money?

>> I never picked it up.

>> Okay, so--

>> I just wanted to see if you

really was riding for me or not.

>> How you know I rocked out

and really sent you the money?

>> I just took your word for it.

>> Like I've been

taking your word for it.

Okay.

>> From what I'm gathering,

like, she actually started

liking you, and I don't think

it's some deep, crazy scheme

going on.

>> I feel like now it sort of

needs to, like,

marinate a little bit.

You do your thing

and then meet up again tomorrow

and, like, see how it

feels starting a fresh day.

>> Okay.

>> Good to meet you.

>> Thank you.

>> Oh, wow.

Oh...

>> I mean, you're being

pretty harsh on her.

>> I really don't want that...

at all.

>> That's an ignorant way

to look at it.

>> Message came in.

>> From?

>> Geralyn.

>> Oh, really?

>> "Hey, Nev, can we meet up

today without Hundra?

I need to tell you

a few things."

>> Okay.

>> So my feeling was, like,

Hundra's whole weird philosophy

on lesbians trying

to convert--

>> Yeah, you're right.

>> I don't know

where she gets that from.

I don't know that Geralyn

would necessarily want

to be with someone who's like--

that doesn't seem like her vibe.

>> Right, right.

>> Maybe the move is we head

over to Geralyn's, find out

what she needs to tell us.

>> Yeah.

>> All right, then.

Is Geralyn really into Hundra?

I mean, Geralyn was definitely

crazy in love with Melanie.

I don't think she's over that.

>> I wonder if there's, like,

an interesting fact that

Geralyn's about to lay on us,

'cause, I mean, if she

was not interested in Hundra,

then she could probably

have just told Hundra that.

>> Okay.

Let's see what she's got to say.

[knock at door]

Hey.

>> Hey, guys.

>> Good morning. How you doing?

>> Good morning.

>> Can we come in with the crew?

>> Yeah.

>> All right, let's do it, guys.

Have a seat.

>> [sighs]

>> So did you and Hundra talk

at all between--

>> Nope.

>> No?

>> Listen...

I'm gonna be honest

with you guys.

>> Now she's gonna be honest.

All right, what's up?

>> I don't know Hundra.

>> You don't know Hundra?

>> What do you mean

you don't know Hundra?

>> I've only been talking to her

for about, like, four weeks.

>> So you mean

the whole nine-months thing

isn't actually true?

>> It's not true, no.

>> So you guys only

started talking four weeks ago?

>> Yes.

>> Okay.

>> See, but you still

have been talking to her?

>> Okay, um...

Well, obviously,

she contacted the show.

>> Right.

>> But it's just, like--

It's not true.

Don't know Hundra.

Don't like her at all like that.

>> Wait.

Melanie knew Hundra?

>> Yeah.

>> So Melanie knows

that this is all fake too?

Either you guys are, like,

Academy Award-winning actors or,

like--

'Cause you guys are--

>> Okay, so hold on.

So you and Melanie

are for real ex-girlfriends?

>> Yeah.

>> Okay.

>> That's true.

>> And a month ago, Hundra

contacted you guys

and said, "Hey, I want to get

on this show 'Catfish.'"

>> I don't know.

I don't know

if it was like that.

I have no idea.

>> That's bull[bleep].

There's got to be some reason

you're involved in this.

Was it because you thought

you could get on the show?

Why would you

risk your reputation

just to help some girl

you don't know?

>> If Melanie wanted to help

her, then...

I love her, so I'm gonna help.

>> So Melanie asked you to help

her and encouraged

you to get involved?

>> Well, yeah.

She needs help,

I'm gonna help her, okay?

I'm down. I'm riding.

>> Help her what, though?

>> Is Hundra even lesbian?

Does she even like girls?

>> I have no idea, but the way

she's trying to make me look

out there was like--

I'm just trying

to turn straight girls out.

No, that's not how--

You don't portray a lesbian

that way.

I don't want to be made to look

on TV like I'm that person.

>> I'm still not sure

I understand the situation.

Why are we here?

>> I could be with my daughter

on Father's Day right now.

Does Hundra know

that we know this right

now that you told us?

>> Nope.

>> So Hundra thinks

that we believe her?

>> Yeah.

>> Piece of [bleep].

I'm pretty [bleep] mad.

There's really no point

in us being here.

I'm [bleep] out, for sure.

[bleep] idiot.

Let's go get Hundra.

I'm about to go crazy

on this little woman, man.

>> All right. "Hey, ladies,

would love to chat."

>> It was all, like,

a plot just to get on TV.

>> Swear to God,

I'm mad as [bleep].

>> All right.

>> Sorry.

>> * You know how to get in

[car door closes]

>> I didn't sign up here

to come help some stupid little

[bleep] girls find a little 15--

>> I know.

>> Not even minutes--

15 seconds of [bleep] fame.

>> I feel like a snitch now.

>> What if Melanie was doing

some stupid [bleep] and--

Right.

The only person

who could manipulate Geralyn

into doing this is Melanie,

'cause she's got her wrapped

around her finger.

>> Yes.

>> I feel like she's still not

giving us the whole truth,

because she's trying

to protect Melanie.

>> I did it for love.

That's it.

>> I am curious to just

sort of see if we can--

>> Find out why they did it.

>> Just like get a straight

story that makes sense.

>> Yeah.

Is this them pulling up?

>> Did you come with Hundra?

>> No.

>> No.

Oh, here she is.

>> Hi.

>> So what's up?

>> Really?

So you just steal pictures

and talk to people?

I'm talking to you.

>> I can hear you.

>> So speak.

Like, you think that's cool?

>> It's over, yo.

>> What's over?

What's over?

>> This whole thing is over.

>> What do you mean?

>> She spilled the beans.

Y'all playing us.

Hundra, you want

to tell us something?

You knew them already, huh?

>> So that was it?

You just wanted to come out?

You had to have at least

had a reason to want

to be on television.

Why does the world

need to know that you're gay?

>> When you're in a culture

that hates

what you have to become,

it's not that easy.

So, yeah, in a way, the world

should give a [bleep].

I don't want

to keep hiding myself.

>> But what's the world

gonna take away from this?

Right now you're setting

a really bad example for people.

>> How?

>> Because you lied,

and you also speak on gays...

like they have a disease.

>> I feel like I can call

them certain names

because I've been in their world

for a while.

>> On paper, like,

I think your crusade to liberate

Haitian women across the nation

is, like, beautiful, and,

like, there are very real ways

that one could do that.

And this is the worst way

to do it.

This is incredibly selfish.

>> 'Cause you don't look

like a hero.

>> Okay, well, this is done.

>> Yeah.

Thank you.

So why are you smiling?

What's funny?

>> It's not funny.

It's just [bleep] up.

It is.

>> And why did you go along

with this?

What do you have invested

in her?

>> Sucker.

You are a sucker.

You.

Corny.

You are corny.

>> So a random girl just hits

you up on the Internet and says,

like, "Hey, will you help me

lie on national television?"

You're like, "Sure."

>> Well, it wasn't like that.

I mean,

she wasn't a random girl.

I mean, we were friends.

>> I just don't see

you and Hundra being friends.

I don't get that pairing.

>> No, but we are, though.

I mean, I wouldn't say we're,

like, the best of friends.

I'm like, "Oh..."

Now we're not friends.

I regret all of it.

You're corny.

You're not a hero.

You are a shameful citizen.

Like...

And she runs away

from her problems.

Are you kidding me?

You know what the [bleep]

I had to do to get here?

What a coward, dude.

You're a coward, man.

>> Why wouldn't you say,

like, "Hey, Hundra,

we want to help you,

but I'm not about to make

my [bleep] ex-girlfriend look

like an ass[bleep]."

When we came up here yesterday,

she made it sound like Geralyn

was just trying to, like,

put a notch on her belt and,

like, convert a straight girl.

>> Oh, my God.

>> Is she blackmailing you?

Like, what--

Why would you go through

with this?

>> I don't know.

>> You did it for her.

>> Yeah, pretty much.

>> Well, the lesson here,

obviously, is if you're gonna

get involved in something,

you got to, like,

think about what that means.

>> Yeah.

>> Right.

>> I mean, for both of you--

like, you know,

you guys put yourselves

in a [bleep] situation and,

like, risked your reputation.

>> For the whole world to see.

>> Yeah.

>> Wow.

>> Yeah.

>> It sucks.

I just want to apologize.

I'm sorry.

>> All right.

Well, good luck with everything.

>> Hundra, man...

the mastermind.

Who would have [bleep] thunk?

>> Never did I think--

>> This is the conclusion.

>> I don't even know

what to think.

>> This episode of

Catfish: the TV Show"

continues now.

Well, I'm back in my hotel

room...

trying to sort of just, like...

process everything

that's been going--

[laughs]

Everything that went down.

It's definitely upsetting.

I don't like...

being made

to look like a fool.

[sighs]

I just don't know

what's up with Hundra.

I can't figure it out.

Well, speak of the devil.

I just got a text message

from Hundra, saying

that she's at my hotel.

"Can I talk to you, only you?"

Okay.

Be curious to see

what she has to say.

Let's go talk to Hundra.

Hey.

How you doing?

You want to talk about it?

So I was hoping

we'd get a chance to talk,

'cause, obviously, things got

a little crazy at the end there.

>> Well, me personally,

I'm not gonna

apologize for anything.

I'm really not,

because regardless

how you felt about how I did it,

I wanted my coming out to be

something "rememorable" for me.

>> I don't think

this is going to get you further

with the friends and family

that you care about.

They're now going

to be so surprised that this

happened that they're not even

going to focus on the fact

that you're gay.

It's going to just be

like, "Well, why'd you lie?

Why'd you have to go on TV?"

>> Not necessarily.

>> But isn't this gonna

be worse?

>> For my mom?

>> Yeah.

Now friends and family--they're

all gonna hear about this.

If you wanted people to know

you were gay, there were, like,

a lot of little things you

could have tried before this.

That's all.

>> There was, but--

>> I think your intentions,

in terms of creating an episode

of a show

that addresses homosexuality--

like, that is incredibly

important.

>> * Will we make it?*

>> But I feel like that's going

to get dwarfed

by this [bleep]-up craziness

of all this.

>> Maybe I do have a different

mind-set of everybody else,

but everybody's different.

>> I really do encourage

you to have a discussion

with your family

before this TV show comes out,

just so that they're not totally

blindsided by it,

but that's up to you.

And with that I will just say

good-bye.

>> Okay.

>> Good luck.

>> Thank you.

>> * Got me angry

* So I

* Called you names

*

* Now it's gone *

[line trilling]

>> Nev, what up, dude?

>> Yo.

What's good?

>> Chillin', chillin'.

Just on tour right now.

>> Nice.

So, first, we're gonna talk

to Geralyn.

>> Right, right.

>> And I think Melanie

might actually be there.

>> Oh, sick. All right, cool.

>> All right, you ready?

I'll add Geralyn.

Hey-o.

>> Hey.

>> Hey.

What's been the aftermath

with this whole crazy situation?

>> I think that thing

with her was just so weird,

'cause it was

like it didn't really seem

that there was anything

in it for you guys.

>> Why do you think she

would go through with all this?

All right, so, aside

from all of that,

I see that you guys

are hanging out,

but, like, has any--

Oh, okay. Oh.

[girls laugh]

I'm glad that you're still

friends and that you made it

through this weird thing

together.

>> Again, I'm sorry.

>> Yeah, I'm sorry.

>> I am so sorry, you guys.

>> All right, ladies,

you guys be good, okay?

We'll speak to you soon.

>> All right.

>> Bye.

>> Bye.

[line trilling]

>> Hey, Hundra.

How you doing?

>> I'm fine.

>> Have you now

told your friends and family

that you're exploring

your sexuality?

>> I've been talking to girls,

and my friends have been out on

dates with me and other girls,

so I'm just testing it out,

because, you know, I came out.

>> How do you feel

about how you chose to come out?

>> I'm not happy

about how I went about with it,

'cause people that know me--

they're gonna know that,

"Hundra's not that type of

person.

Like, why would she go that far

just to get, whatever,

attention?"

>> Well, and you wasted our

time.

>> I mean, I wasn't necessarily

wasting time,

because everybody still

got something out of it.

You're still a rapper that's

about to be on a television show

because of whatever I came up

with.

>> Oh, don't even--

>> If you want an apology

for wasting your time--

I don't feel bad, because I feel

as though I'm a person

that got you to my attention.

>> But the way you did it

by lying and disrespecting

your community--

I just feel like this would have

been the perfect opportunity

to learn from it and be like,

"Oh, [bleep].

I don't want to be like this."

>> I'm not gonna go

and reverse my words

and say, "I regret how I went

about it with myself,"

'cause there's nothing

that I can take back.

>> Okay.

>> It's just that.

>> I guess that's it.

I guess, you know--

>> Okay.

>> Bye for now.

>> Later.

>> Okay.

She hasn't changed much.

[both laugh]

>> All right, later, Kells.

>> Later, guys.

>> Peace.

>> "She could be the one for me.

I've even asked her

to come live with me."

>> I went to her house.

Her uncle answered,

and he told me no one

by that name lived there.

>> "18-year-old takes police

on stolen-vehicle chase."

She could have a little bit

of a record.

If I were in your shoes,

I would be freaking out.

>> Somebody's looking.

>> What the hell is going on?
