Is It Cake? (2022–…): Season 2, Episode 4 - That 90's Cake - full transcript

A retro challenge takes contestants back to the '90s with VCRs, Dr. Martens and more. Guest judges: Anna Camp, Melissa Villaseñor and Joel Kim Booster.

[boy band music plays]

[all] What?

-[woman 1] Really?
-[woman 2] Who is that gentleman?

[women] Yeah!

-Yeah!
-Mikey!

-Mikey!
-What's up, home skillet?

[contestants cheer] Yeah!

[boy band music plays]

[music fades]

[laughter]

Today, we're going back...

[echoing] ...to the '90s.

[cheering and applause]

-Corterrius, when were you born?
-2000.

Oh, I'm old.

-Pete, did you ever wear Oakleys?
-I did.

-[woman] No.
-Can you put these on?

I just want to get a glimpse
of old-school Pete.

-[Mikey] Dude!
-[contestants] Whoa!

-Pete!
-[laughs]

Elizabeth, have you ever
owned a fanny pack?

Yes. So we call fanny packs bum bags.

-Bum bags?
-[Danya] Bum bags. That's so much better.

[British accent] Put your knuckle-dusters
in your bum bag and let's go.

-[laughter]
-[Mikey] Okay, bakers.

Let's play Find That Cake!

[cheering]

Let's see how good you guys are
at spotting cakes.

[cheering]

Thank you. Cake wall, spin.

When the cake wall spins around,

you will see seven items
that you'd find in the '90s.

[gasps]

Six of them are real, and one is,
you're not gonna believe this,

-cake.
-[chuckles]

You will have 20 seconds
to enter your answer on the keypad.

Five seconds.

Three, two, one.

-Time's up!
-[bell dings]

[applause]

[woman squeals]

-[Mikey] Corterrius.
-Mm-hmm.

Do you know what this stuff is?

Most of it?

[spluttering] Yeah. Somewhat.

Do you even know what this is?

Is it a Chichia Pet?

[both] Oh my God.

-[woman] You did not!
-[laughter]

[Mikey] That was the best ever.

-It's called a Furby, but good guess.
-A Furby. I would have never knew that.

[laughter]

Pete, you picked Number Four.

I did. I regret my choice.

Which is not a good sign.

-Let's find out if this is cake.
-[laughs]

[dramatic music playing]

-Nope.
-[Mikey] Not cake. Sorry, Pete.

I picked unwisely.

Who here picked the boom box? Number Two?

Corterrius, you wrote "robot"
on your tablet.

-Did you?
-You didn't.

-No, I'm kidding.
-Oh my God. Robot!

You know this, right?

Yeah. They used to carry that
on their shoulder and be like...

-[Mikey] Yeah.
-I know that much.

This is a popular choice.
What looks like cake to you guys here?

-I just think the handle.
-The handle and the speakers.

One was just slightly tilted.

Let's find out if this jambox is cake.

[tense music playing]

[suspenseful music playing]

[contestants] Yes!

Finally!

[record skips, crashes]

Where's the cake? [laughing]

Worst cut ever.

-Ooh.
-[woman] Yay.

-[Pete] There we go.
-[Mikey] Yes.

-It's pretty.
-[applause]

-[Mikey] That is cake.
-[contestants cheering]

Miko, Elizabeth, Corterrius, nice job.
The three of you found it. Nice.

The four of you will be competing
for up to $10,000

when we play Is It Cake?

[upbeat drum rhythm]

[tense music plays]

Each of you will choose
an item from the '90s

that you will replicate into a cake.

Miko, you found the cake the fastest.

[cheering and applause]

Yeah! The Miko dance.

-He's so happy.
-What's it gonna be, Miko?

I'll do the VCR.

[Mickey] You went with the VCR.

-[applause]
-Whoa!

Okay!

We actually still have a VCR at home.

-[Mikey] You do?
-Yeah.

I remember going to the video store...
before Netflix.

[laughter]

Second-fastest baker was

Corterrius.

[cheering and applause]

You do know the '90s.
What do you think, dude?

I want the CD player.

-[Mickey] The Walkman?
-[Corterrius] Yeah.

[Mikey] You mean the cassette player?

-[Spirit] It's not a CD.
-Have you ever listened to a cassette?

When I was little,
we did used to have some in the house.

I used to take my finger
and twist all the stuff out of it.

-Yeah, I did the same thing.
-Oh my God.

[laughter]

Elizabeth, you were third.

-Corterrius took the Walkman.
-But you love me, right?

I do, so it's okay, you can have it.
So instead, I'm gonna pick Number Three.

-The Doc Marten boot.
-[Spirit] Nice.

-[Mikey] The Doc Marten boot.
-[Elizabeth] Yes.

I want that. Give me that.

[Mikey] Oh!

And who's fourth? Drumroll, please.

[imitating drumroll]

Pete.

Number One.
The phone book and brick cellphone.

[Mikey] The phone book and the brick.

[applause]

I'm excited about your picks.

Remember, one of you will be eliminated
from the competition today.

And one of you could win up to $10,000.

[cheering and applause]

Let's go back to the '90s, guys.

You have eight hours
to complete your cakes.

It's time to bake!

-Go!
-[cheering]

-Yeah!
-Me first, me first!

Ah! [laughs]

Ooh.

Whoo.

-How are you feeling about your cakes?
-I'm flipping relieved, I can tell you.

-I will take detail over size any day.
-[chuckles]

-[Corterrius] For real?
-Yeah. I love detail. It's my thing.

I picked the Doc Marten
purely because it's complex.

There's laces. There's stitching.
The sole. The shape of the boot.

Being in Texas,
I get a lot of cowboy boot orders.

I'm pretty sure I can nail that one.

But seeing Liz go home,
everyone was just, like, gobsmacked.

If it can happen to Liz,
it can happen to anyone.

So I'm going all in.

Elizabeth, what deliciousness
are you making?

I'm making for y'all a mighty fine cake.

-A mighty fine cake.
-[Danya] Oh my God.

[Elizabeth] I'm making a vanilla cake
with a cookie butter buttercream,

brown sugar, cinnamon cream cheese,

and bananas Foster pecan praline filling.

[women] Ooh.

-[Spirit] Praline.
-[Danya] She got praline.

-I love that.
-Oh, my giddy aunts, that's fricking good.

[Pete] So '90s I'm super stoked about.

I grew up in the '90s.
I was born in '82 so...

Me too. Not '82. '84, but...

[Miko] I was born in '88, so...

I basically grew up in the '90s.

I was in middle school and high school.
Those were my days.

Music was so much better back then.

You have Britney Spears.

-Christina Aguilera. Backstreet Boys.
-Oh, yeah.

[Miko] Oh my God! Ha-ha!

-I'm so lost, but okay. [laughs]
-[laughs]

I can't relate to what y'all are
talking about, 'cause I was born in 2000.

I don't even know
if I was thought of in the '90s.

Wait, I was being made in '99.

Maybe. [laughs]

You know
who the Spice Girls are though, right?

-I think I heard of them, but I...
-You don't know the Spice Girls?

Oh my! Have you actually ever seen
a cassette tape in real life?

-Yeah, I have.
-You have?

Yeah, but the Walkman itself,
I'd never seen it before.

-I'm just so interested in Corterrius's...
-[Spirit] Corterrius's Walkman.

[Kayla] It's, like, so small.
How is he getting all that inside there?

-That's a very good point.
-For three judges to taste.

My biggest concern about making this cake
is to make sure that the size is perfect

and just make sure I have all the details,

because I don't want it to be
a dead giveaway if I make it too big.

It's smelling so good.
If it smells good, it'll taste good.

Cort, what's your cake flavor?

Cookies and cream cake. When you cut in,
you'll get the crunch of the Oreos.

Cookies and cream. I wanna try that one.

[Corterrius] I'm making
a cookies and cream vanilla cake

with chocolate ganache,
and cookies and cream buttercream.

Ooh, that look good.

[laughing]

[Pete] Cake filling? Yes, please.

[laughs]

Pete, what flavor?

[Pete] I am making a vanilla cake
with dark chocolate ganache

and a chocolate hazelnut crunch.

-Oh my God, that sounds amazing.
-Basically like a candy bar in a cake.

This chocolate hazelnut crunch layer

is just melt-in-your-mouth delicious
with this perfect crunch.

I think the judges are gonna love it.

Oh, this is so pretty!

I feel like the phone book
won't take me too long,

but the cellphone's gonna be a challenge,

especially because
there's a lot of buttons on there

and it's gonna take me a bit of time.

Miko, what flavors are you making?

I want it to be tropical,
'cause I'm from a tropical country.

So, yeah, something refreshing.

So I'm making a calamansi cake

with coconut filling
and calamansi buttercream.

Calamansi is a Philippine lime.

It has a fruity, sour taste.

However, when you mix it with sugar,
it becomes so sweet.

I want my cake to stand out.

I want the judges to experience
the tropical vibe just by eating my cake.

Miko, you're so fancy with your flavors.

Do you have any extra
that we can have right now?

[laughs]

I chose the VCR because I haven't
made any rectangular cakes before.

I really want to challenge myself. I want
to do things that I don't usually do.

I'm currently living in New York

because of an internship opportunity
at Ron Ben-Israel Cakes.

My skills were honed at his studio,

and ever since, I never stopped.

Just making it here,

I feel like I have accomplished a lot.

If I can be in the grand finale,
I will be so proud of myself.

-[Elizabeth and Corterrius] Oh!
-Bakers!

-Hey.
-Hi.

-I have decoys!
-[contestants] Whoo!

-It's feeling more like the '90s now.
-[Elizabeth] Right?

[laughter

Videocake. I watched it. It's weird.

So come on up.
Remember, you get two decoys.

This is so much easier to carry.
One trip, baby. Whoo!

Miko looks like he's at a sale here.
You need some help with this?

-[Miko] I know. [laughs]
-This is like a balancing act here.

♪ Doo-doo-doo-doo ♪

A little shaky.

[Miko] I just hope they love the taste.

[energetic electronic music playing]

[Pete] Getting there.

[Corterrius]
Ooh, this looks good already.

[Elizabeth] It's a shoe!

All right.

Getting a straight, smooth edge
with perfect corners

is a very hard thing to achieve
in cake decorating.

I have to strategically cut and line up
to get the corners nice and sharp,

because I don't want the judges to see
any weird wonkiness for my phone book.

My hands are so shaky.

Oh my goodness.

[repeated exhales]

[laughs]

[Miko] I need to make
the front part of the VCR.

It's very, very important
because it's what the judges see.

Looking at Miko's,
it looks super rectangular.

I think that if he can
get the front right, he'll be fine.

'Cause that's gonna look so exact
that people are gonna have a hard time.

[Miko] It takes, like, two hours
for the mold to cure,

and I am so nervous about it,

because if the molds are not gonna work,
you don't have enough time to redo them.

Oh, goodness.

Unfortunately, the mold is a pain!

[grunting]

I can't take it out from the...

[straining]

Do you need a hand? You got it?

[Miko] Mm-hmm.

Oh God!

-We need to press the eject button.
-[Miko] Yeah.

[Corterrius] Want me to pull?

Having Cort around
is really, really helpful. He's strong.

-[Corterrius] Turn this way. You hold it.
-[Miko] Mm-hmm.

-Ah! God!
-There we go.

[laughs] Thanks, Cort.

[Corterrius and Miko sighing]

[Miko] Sorry, JVC.

So I did a lot of trials
for the front part of the VCR.

I used fondant.

However, it's sagging.

I need something
that would set really fast.

So my plan B
is for me to use tempered chocolate.

The front part,
as long as I have it done, then I'm good.

[Mikey] The '90s.

Dawson's Creek.
Was in love with Katie Holmes.

Power Rangers.

Titanic was huge.

Once that iceberg hits...

[ship horn blares]

"I always win, Jack, one way or another."

[laughs]

-What?
-What?

I'm trying to make sure
I get this mold right.

I'm trying to get it together here.

I feel like using the mold
is the best option for the cassette tape,

because it's gonna get all the different
indentations inside of the cassette tape.

I'm using chocolate.
It's not gonna miss a spot.

-I'm about to pop it out.
-[Miko] Oh, I want to see it.

[singsong] Pop it out. Pop it out.

[music deflates]

-[Miko] You broke it?
-I broke it.

I thought the chocolate cassette tape
was gonna be pretty easy

because it was so small,

but you see the muscles.

[laughs]

I ain't let it harden enough.

See, you're just too strong.
You're manhandling it.

[Corterrius] Okay, I'm trying this again.

Elizabeth, what's the most difficult
element of your cake?

The iconic shape and details,

because every single person,
I'm pretty sure,

has seen or owned a pair of these
at some point.

Doc Martens are just iconic,

so I need to make sure
that I focus on the shape,

because people see shoes all day long.

You know if something looks fishy
if you see a weird-shaped boot.

There you go.

Now that my cake is all stacked,
I'm actually just carving the boot.

I have a serrated knife,

and I'm sitting there
and I'm whittling it away basically

until I'm sure, like,
this is the perfect shape.

Do you guys see the curve
in Elizabeth's boot?

It looks real realistic.

That was the key. If it would've
just been flat, that's a dead giveaway.

[Elizabeth] I really need to win.

I have people that I want to take care of.

My employees are the world to me.

We've known each other
for going on, like, 11 years now.

They have supported my dream
to have my own business,

The London Baker.

Winning this competition,

Cellphones from the '90s are brickish.

Give yourself an hour if you can spare it
and see how far you can get in an hour.

Starting over is gonna change
my whole plan of attack.

I'm now gonna have to go

-I see what you mean. I understand.
-Mikey, whose side are you on?

[laughter]

They're guests here.
I have to make them feel good.

[laughter]

All right.

Corterrius, if this is cake,

you'll be up for elimination.

If it's not, you're up for the win today.

[tense music playing]

Is it cake?

[all] Oh!

[Anna] Oh my God.

[Mikey] Looks like
we cut right through that.

[Anna] We were right.

-That is cake.
-[man] Wow.

Corterrius, I'm so sorry, buddy.

Unfortunately, that means
you're up for elimination today.

You killed it with this thing, though.

-Aww.
-[applause]

That's Cake GOAT.

-[laughing]
-[applause]

For the second spin,
we have cakes from Elizabeth and Pete.

[cheering and applause]

Elizabeth made a Doc Marten boot,

and Pete made a very '90s cellphone
and phone book.

What's a phone book?

-[Mikey] I know.
-[laughter]

-I was also born in 2000.
-[laughter]

-You were?
-No.

I bought it.
Whenever you were born, you look amazing.

Well, you know, Miko and I
will look like this forever, so...

[laughter]

Cake wall, spin!

[Anna] Oh my gosh.

[Mikey] Judges, remember,
two of the objects are cake,

and four are the real thing.

Oh my God.

[Mikey] You have 20 seconds.

Let's see if you can find 'em both.

Your time starts now.

-[Joel] Wait a minute.
-[Anna] Whoa.

I think... First of all, why is One angled
that way? They're trying to trick us.

[Mikey] Fifteen seconds.

[Anna] Oh my God, we have so little time.
Okay, Three is a beautiful boot.

Three looks brand new.

[Anna] Five is a bit, like, flat.
It doesn't look very shiny.

-[Mikey] Ten seconds.
-[judges] Two!

[Joel] They put the phone down
to trick us. I think it's Four or Six.

-[Anna] Which is cake?
-[Joel] Four or Six.

-[Anna] Four or Six?
-[Joel] Four!

-[Anna] Three!
-[Melissa] I'll put Four.

[Mikey] Five seconds.

What about Three? Two or Three?

-I think it's Four or Six.
-[Mikey] Three, two one. Time is up!

[screaming]

-I didn't get...
-[Mikey] Wow.

That was wild.

-You did not lock in any answers in time.
-No.

[Mikey] This is the second time
this has happened this season.

Our bakers have broken our judges' minds.

I'm sorry, guys. That was fast.

-[Mikey] Melissa looks so sad.
-This was a very difficult challenge.

-Well, they're good.
-You know.

Ultimately, you didn't lock in in time,
which means, Elizabeth and Pete,

you both fooled them
and are up for the win today.

-Wowie!
-[Anna] Oh my God.

That was hard. That was really hard.

[Mikey] Wow!

Did you see that coming?

-No.
-No.

I want to throw up. I'm like... [grunting]

But on the outside, I'm like...
mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

Yes. Did you guys have choices?

What about One?

[Joel] Well, I have to be honest
with you, Mikey,

the angle of the boot
makes it really difficult to judge.

[laughter]

[Anna] You're so right about that.

I think it's a snow boot,
not a Doc Marten.

-Yeah.
-And that's not cool.

[laughter]

-Okay.
-[laughs]

-Let's take a look at Number One.
-[Melissa] Ah!

-[Anna] Looks like a hiking shoe.
-[Melissa] Looks like a snow boot.

You think it's a snow boot.
Meaning you think it's cake?

-Or you just think it's a snow boot?
-[laughter]

Is it a snow boot?

Number One,
it looks like it could be cake.

Let's see if it's snow boot or cake.

No, that's a boot.

You have won Is It A Snow Boot?

-Nice.
-[Mikey] Okay.

Now what numbers
do you think are cake here?

For me, and I don't want to speak
for my co-judges...

-[Mikey] Uh-huh.
-...it's Three and Six.

I agree with Three.
I think Three is the cake.

[Joel] It's the only one
that looks like a Doc Marten.

-[Anna] Yeah.
-Let's see.

[tense music playing]

God, he's about to ruin a boot.

[Anna] Oh my God.

[Joel] Wow.

-Yay!
-[Mikey] That is cake.

Let's reveal more,
'cause it's so much fun.

That is so satisfying to look at.

-[Anna] Incredible.
-[Melissa] That's so cool.

-[Anna] Wow.
-[applause]

[Anna] Great job.

-[Joel] That is incredible.
-That tricked me.

-[Melissa] That's amazing.
-That's incredible. Such a good job.

I feel duped.

[applause]

All right. Let's talk cellphones here.

When it first spun around,
I thought Two was cake.

-[Anna] I'm very torn.
-[Joel] Yeah.

Four and Six,
the phones look very real to me.

My only thing about Six is that there's
something artificial about the pages

that makes me suspicious.

Okay, let's find out.

[tense music playing]

Ooh.

Whoo!

-[Mikey] It's cake.
-[Anna] Oh, it's cake!

[Anna] Wow.

-Well done, Pete.
-Thank you.

-Whoo! Great job.
-[applause]

Pete and Elizabeth,
your cakes were so good,

you left our judges
unable to answer one simple question.

[robotic voice] Is it cake?

[laughter]

All right, judges, it's time to taste
these amazingly talented bakers' cakes

and examine them up close,

because it all comes down
to the taste and the details.

That is what determines
who will be today's winner

and who will be eliminated
from the competition.

Cake wall, spin.

All right, judges, please come up
and inspect and taste the cakes.

[Anna] So ready.

-[Mikey] Yes, you are.
-[Anna] You know?

-You've been waiting since college.
-College. [laughs]

We'll start with the bakers
up for the win.

Elizabeth, tell the judges
about the flavors in your cake.

[Elizabeth] So what I have for you
is a cinnamon roll bananas Foster cake.

It's a white cake
with cinnamon streusel swirled into it.

There is a layer
of the cookie buttercream,

and then a banana Fosters praline layer.

[Anna] The flavors work
really well together.

Look what's on the heel. You can see...

-What?
-The little grooves!

-[Anna] The grooves on the heel!
-[Joel] Look at the grooves on the heel!

The only reason we suspected this boot
is 'cause it looked too much like...

-A boot.
-A boot.

Which is crazy.

[laughter]

You're sick and twisted.

[laughter]

Let's move on to Pete's cake.

[Pete] So it is a vanilla cake

with a dark chocolate ganache,
and a chocolate hazelnut crunch layer.

Loving the textural difference in here.
The crunch is so satisfying.

I love the amount of chocolate in this.

-Good. It's very rich.
-It's so good. Yeah.

[Anna] Whoa.

Look at the buttons.

Like, you really took your time
on these buttons. It's incredible.

-Thank you.
-[Joel] It is very cool.

And tasty.

Let's move on to the cakes you found.

Miko, can you please tell the judges
about the flavors in your cake?

It is a calamansi cake.

Calamansi is actually a Philippine lime.

And it has calamansi buttercream filling.

And I added also coconut filling in it
to add texture to it as well.

-It's delicious.
-[Miko] Thank you.

-[Anna] I love a citrus...
-I've never had anything like this before.

I'm really super impressed

with the outside facade
of this VCR player.

Look at even the detail
on the VHS coming out.

[Anna] Oh, wow.

-That's awesome.
-It's really cool.

Thank you.

Corterrius, please tell the judges
about your cake.

[Corterrius] I made a traditional
cookies and cream Oreo crunch cake.

[both] Ooh!

So when you cut down in it,
you're gonna get a taste of Oreo chunks.

But you gotta get down in there.

And you're gonna get
some chocolate ganache.

-Oh, the cake's good.
-Thank you. Thank you.

Oh my God.

[Joel] It's bringing me back to childhood.

-Very.
-Back to the '90s.

You put that in your blender mix.
You'll like it.

[laughter]

So take a minute
and decide which baker will be our winner

and which baker will be eliminated.

[Anna] Okay.

The boot, the only thing that set it apart
was it was so perfect.

[Anna] It's so perfect.

That detail was something else.

The flavor in the phone book was so good.
It had that crunch, you know.

I'm gonna be thinking
about that crunch later.

[Joel] There was so much work
put into the phone book and the phone.

We got two different cakes.

Now what about
the taste and texture of the VCR?

I love. Like, I would have that
for my next birthday cake.

It just felt like it was passed down
in family tradition

or something like that.

[Joel] The one thing that bothers me

is the printed tape paper
going over the side.

-It's one part of the detail that...
-It's not measured properly, really.

We didn't get a ton of cake
with the Walkman.

-[Anna] No, we didn't get a ton of cake.
-He said it was cookies and cream?

I didn't taste cookies and cream.

[Melissa] Those headphone wires
really got me.

But I do think the buttons on the top,
they were maybe a little rushed.

Perhaps. Perhaps.

Hey, judges, have you reached a decision?

-We have.
-Yes.

Please write down the name of the baker
who will be eliminated.

[tense music playing]

Okay. Please deliver the good news.
Who is our winner?

Well, uh, while both of these cakes
are truly amazing,

in the end, for us,
it came down to the visual detail.

The winner is...

Elizabeth!

-[Mikey] Elizabeth!
-[cheering and applause]

Yeah.

-[Mikey] Congrats!
-[woman] Yay!

Congrats, you just won $5,000, Elizabeth.
Not bad.

Yes! Whoo!

That means you will move on
to our Cake Or Cash? round,

where you could win another $5,000.

Well done.
Pete, you can head to the gallery.

[whispers] Good job.

Great job, Pete! Great job, Pete!

All of your cakes
were clearly unbelievable,

but, unfortunately,
one of you won't be moving on.

[tense music playing]

[Anna whimpers]

Corterrius.

[contestants gasp]

[Mikey] I'm sorry, you are eliminated
from the competition.

-So good, Corterrius.
-Corterrius.

I wanted to win real bad

because the reward would have
changed my life, literally. [laughs]

This was actually a big deal for me

because I started three years ago,

so I never expected myself
to be sitting right here.

I'm happy that I met all of y'all,
and I'm just happy.

People where I'm from
don't get opportunities like this.

Aww.

I'm just hoping I inspire somebody.

[woman] Yeah!

Let me take my walk.

Yes!

I feel good walking away,
continuing to do what I do,

making myself even better.

I'm gonna graduate,
so I'm feeling even better,

so it's a win-win for me.

The Cake GOAT is out.

[laughs]

All right, bakers,
let's hear it for our judges!

Sorry. Thank you, Joel, Melissa, and Anna.

[applause]

Bye. Sorry, I should have warned you.

All right. I'm excited.

Why, Mikey?

'Cause it's time to play Cake Or Cash?

[dramatic music playing]

Okay, Elizabeth, you just won $5,000.

But now you're playing for the chance
to double your money to $10,000.

All you have to do is find a cake.

Cake wall, spin.

On the other side of the cake wall
are two fanny packs.

Oh my God.

[Mikey] One is filled with cash,

and the other fanny pack
is filled with cake.

You guess the cake, you get the cash.

You have 15 seconds.

And your time starts now.

-[tense music playing]
-[timer beeping]

[woman] Wow.

Five seconds. Lock it in, Elizabeth!

-Four, three, two, one.
-[contestants] Lock it in!

[Mikey] Okay, good. [exhales]

Whoo! Go, girl.

Right on the dot.

You picked Number One.

Was that a complete guess, or is there
something about it that says cake?

I was kind of going back and forth,

and Number One,
just the strap looks slightly off,

and I didn't have a chance to compare
too many things, so I was just like...

[spluttering]

You yelled at me,
so I had to make a decision.

No matter what, you won five grand.

-That's a lot.
-Yeah.

This is just icing on the cake.

Oh!

[Mikey laughs]

All right. You picked Number One.
Let's see if you were right.

I hope you were right.

[suspenseful music playing]

[clears throat]

N...

-No!
-[contestants] No!

-I'm sorry, Elizabeth.
-That's okay.

Since Elizabeth didn't win Cake Or Cash?,
that $5,000 goes into the finale pot.

But you're still taking home $5,000.

-[Spirit] Yes! Whoo!
-[Mikey] That's pretty good.

All right, what do you say we open up
this fanny pack and reveal what's inside?

Wow, look at that.

Here comes the split.

This is cake.

Bad cake!

Get it, Mikey. Kill it. Get it!

-[laughter]
-[imitating horror movie sound effects]

-Bad cake!
-[laughter]

Okay, everyone on the bench, get up here!

Everyone into the station wagon,

'cause, guys, we're going camping!

-Oh!
-Whoo!

[Mikey] I know you're fans.

And one more thing.

-Cake Or Cash? is worth $10,000 next time.
-[woman] Yeah!

Oh yeah!

Oh, the humanity!

[upbeat music playing]
