-Julien? That's a nice jacket you have.
-Why do you even bother, Tess?

- Can't you stop hating me?
-No.

-Good morning!
Are all of you doing well?
-Yes.

As some of you may know,
unfortunately, Alexa has moved.

- She and her family.
- Where are they moving to?

Germany. Isn't that what she told you, Julie?

Has anyone heard anything from Lars?

No. Then let's pick up our tablets.

Today we are going to learn
something enormously exciting.

Does anyone know what Realism is?

-Am I interrupting?
-Yes.

I'll be quick.
My name is Ove Voreland.

I work for Heia Bekkebakken.

I have come here today to
inform you about these here.

In a short time all
Strangers at school ...

- those we know or have reason
to believe are Strangers, -

- will receive a package containing these in the
mail, along with instructions -

- on how to sew these
onto their clothes.

There are students who want to
protect themselves from strangers.

Just as those with nut allergies must know if
food contains traces of nuts,

- everyone has the right to know
when the people they meet are Strangers.

This is a dangerous idea,
Marking some students with an F ...

There is no reason for this.
Everyone can get along together.

Even the zombie, if he wants to.
We have zombies in this school ...

- Exactly.
-Yes, but they're ashamed.

If you put an F on them, that shame
seeps out like shit when they are in public...

Good. At least we'll know who they are.

You know I voted for Heia
Bekkebakken, right?

You know I believe in simplicity and
dislike all the Strangers, but ...

Bekkebakken School is my school.

May I suggest that I run my school while you
control the rest of the community.

No. You run a mediocre, tolerant school ...

- with a growing diversity.

We won the election and you no
longer have anything to say.

-I no longer have anything to say?
-No.

I no longer have anything to say!?

If you are a stranger and know of
other strangers we do not know about,

- You can call this number. Then you
can get a smaller F with a crown on it.

-You can become a Good Stranger.
-And I suppose next you'll say we can make

- a separate area in the schoolyard where
you can herd all the strangers together?

We are not going to do that.
But we are going to make an area ...

... where those who want to protect
themselves from strangers ...

- can gather in peace and avoid having to
come into contact with zombies or trolls.

So those who cannot "tolerate"
strangers can stand here?

No. They can stand here ...

- The strangers must be here?
-Yes.

This is unacceptable

You can stand and go where you want.

This is the law, now.

Are you saying you won't
obey the law?

Anna? Tess? Come here.

What are we going to do?

I'm going home and check if
there is an F in our mailbox.

-And what if there is?
-I do not know.

We must destroy them.

We've lost. It is over.
Ninni will start at folk high school.

-Lars is in hiding.
-We have not seen Daddy since the election.

We can't give up.
You're in shock, Tess. Look at you.

Do you think I want to be like this? It's easy
for you to talk. It's not you they hate.

Are we really going to stand like
that in a corner of the schoolyard?

You don't need to. You can go wherever you want.

But I don't want to go wherever I want.

-Have you ... ?
-No, I haven't seen Lars.

That's not what I was going to say.

-It wasn't?
-No.

- Can't the two of us do anything?
-I can't. I have to go straight home.

What are you doing?

Punching Bastian Berg in his face.

You're sad because Alexa moved.
You were almost always together.

Not "almost always." We were ALWAYS together.
If I was gone for even five minutes,

- She was dying to see me.
-And she agreed with you about everything.

Alexa was kind to me,
even when I wasn't nice to her.

- Why did they have to move?
- Did they have to move?

- Were they strangers?
- Maybe they were.

But they weren't bad. They were kind,
loyal, decent, friendly and clean.

- Always happy to see me.
- Were they dog people?

They're not called dog people. And they
don't sniff each others' asses.

Wait a minute, Julie.

Lars is gone, Alexa is gone...

Don't compare Alexa to a zombie.

Our friends are gone.
The strangers don't dare do a thing.

- We have to stop them.
-The two of us?

-Yes.
-No.

-Why not?
-We are children and very different.

-Hennika?
-No, I haven't heard anything from Lars.

- That's not what I was going to say.
-It wasn't?

No. But have you heard
anything from Lars's mother?

Lars will call you when it's safe.
But I don't know where they are.

His mother stopped by and borrowed money,
and then they left. I don't know where they went.

This information about contact with
them must stay between us. OK?

OK. Lars said he lived with you.
Was he really just stopping by?

Anna. Maybe he thought
he would stay with me.

I do not provide a home to strangers.
You must believe that.

I live alone, and I always have.

Now you have to go home. OK?

Nice. Go.

Hello.

-What did you do today?
-I was bored.

-Is your Mom working late today?
-I do not know. I can't have a phone.

Are you sure it's a good idea, Robert?

-I do not care.
-It may be they have more plans ...

- for the strangers than just putting
them in a corner in the schoolyard.

I think it will all work out.

But right now, strangers should help themselves.

They can get all dressed up, they can
go to the town hall and ...

Right now, I don't think
we should give up on them.

-We don't know how this will end.
-So what? Do you remember how it was?

I was always alone.
People thought I was nice.

Then I got my first friend.
Lars. And then Anna and Tess.

If they are to be burned at the stake,
I would rather be burned with them ...

- than go back to the way it was before.

Look here. Let me show you how.

Like that. Now we'll see.
