Walker, Texas Ranger (1993–2001): Season 8, Episode 15 - Thunderhawk - full transcript

When a new weapon knows as a Thunderhawk is stolen, Walker tries to find it. What they don't know is that the man who was in charge of bringing it to the military was the one who stole it. He's planning to sell it to some people who plan to use it for terrorism. But before he could it's stolen from him.

ALEX: It says here,
in the next century

people will be living
longer, staying healthier,

and 5 percent of boys
and 10 percent of girls

born in the next five years
will live to be over a 100.

Now, Walker, isn't that amazing?

Does it say why
twice as many girls

will live to be over
100 than boys?

No, but I know why.

So do I.

Because a guy can't
get a word in edgewise

and it drives him crazy.

Very funny.

No. It's because women

express their feelings
and emotions more freely.

We don't keep things
bottled up inside.

I mean, all those
unexpressed feelings,

that's what makes you sick.

Think about it.

I mean, where do
those feelings go?

Do they just evaporate?

No.

They find some little pocket
and they bury themselves

and they fester and
that's what creates tumors,

high blood pressure,
probably cancer, you name it.

That's why women
live longer than men.

That's my theory.
What do you think?

Hey, Walker.

Sydney and Gage
got a 2-11 in progress.

Sounds like those
warehouse Cowboys.

What's wrong?

You don't wanna know.

We'll talk about this later.

Well, I feel better.

( upbeat theme playing)

Let's go, let's go,
let's go. Come on.

(man yelling instructions)

We gotta go.

Get in. Let's go.

Now we're gonna

Yes, great. Come on.

Let's go.

You okay? Yeah. You okay?

Yeah.

(siren wailing)

You guys okay? We're okay.

Definitely a little
too close for comfort.

Yeah, we got one of 'em here,
but the rest of 'em got away.

The Cowboys? Yeah.

That's five warehouses
in three weeks.

Yeah, and that leader
sure seems to have a thing

for throwin' grenades.

WALKER: Anything on him?

GAGE: No.

Okay, run a check on him,
see what you can find out.

You got it.

LAMARR: The
Thunderhawk is completed.

Yes, yes, general, it's...

It's ready to be tested.

My head of security, Becker,

will be bringing it to you.

(buzzing)

Becker, would you come in?

Yes, sir?

General Norton says
three advisors from the NSC

are flying in to Camp
Stuart for the test.

Now, this is the
first time the military

will see this weapon in action.

Nothing can go wrong.

Nothing will go wrong, sir.

You have my word on it.

( action theme playing)

(talking indistinctly
over radio)

BECKER: We almost made it.

I managed to return fire,

but then they shot Jefferies

and the car went outta

LAMARR: It's called
the Thunderhawk.

It's a sonic laser prototype,

A sonic laser?

Well, a regular laser

A sonic laser

So instead of
creating laser beams,

it creates sound beams.

Exactly.

The conventional

What are the
conventional applications?

Well, here, let me show you.

(typing on keyboard)

The Thunderhawk could
completely revolutionize

the field of demolition.

The Dunes Hotel,
Las Vegas, Nevada.

What took hundreds of
pounds of high explosives

and thousands of man hours,

often under extremely
dangerous conditions,

could've been accomplished
by a single sustained blast

of sonic waves,

and the medical
implications are astounding.

So it's like an ultrasound.

Yes, but a thousand

Right. You got it.

You know, it still doesn't

We find the spec book
for the Thunderhawk

at the warehouse, but
there's no Hawk to be found.

We got a robbery,
probably our Cowboys,

but the bodies we
find are these ex-cons

workin' as security guards.

They're not Cowboys at all.

What do you make of it?

Looks to me like we
have two groups here.

The first group stole
the Thunderhawk

and took it to the warehouse.

The second group
robbed the warehouse

and took the Thunderhawk
as part of the loot.

So we're hunting the
Cowboys and the Indians.

Yeah.

more than hitting warehouses.

I know. We could sell it.

To who?

Frankie. Frankie,
Frankie "The Fence."

He knows. No, no, come on.

Whoa, whoa. He knows
people who knows people.

The only question I got is, Laz,

about, uh, how much
should we ask for it?

I don't know. A million,
maybe. Maybe more.

DEKE: Oh, cool!

You know what
I'm thinkin'? Eight.

(laughs)

Eight million? DEKE: Uh-huh.

That's a lot of money, Deke.

I know. That's like
two million for me,

a million for each of you.

Sounds good to me, huh? Okay.
