Walker, Texas Ranger (1993–2001): Season 6, Episode 7 - Last of a Breed: Part 2 - full transcript

( light rock action
theme playing)

WALKER: Well, here we are.

The Texas Ranger
Museum and Hall of Fame.

Well, could you tell us a
story about one of them?

How about Hayes Cooper?

He left a journal
before he died.

( ominous theme playing)

NARRATOR: Previously
on Walker, Texas Ranger.

BEDOE: And I need his
land. The railroad's coming.

Wilson's land is
dead in the path.

It's worth a fortune,

but he doesn't know it.

You got a little sand in
you, don't you? Here you go.

(fists smacking)

Mister, watch out!

Mister, you're hurt.

We'd be honored to
put you up for the night.

I could tend to that wound.

What was that all about in town?

Silas Bedoe is trying
to scare me off my land.

We've managed to hold on so far,

but we might not be
able to much longer.

We're not gonna
lose our land, Mary.

TOM: Got them all,
Mary, every last one.

We know you're new around
here. You don't know the situation.

What situation's that?

That Wilson is going under.

Dead, Cooper, all
my cattle are dead.

They're all dead.

He shot 'em all.

How much does Tom
Wilson owe on his ranch?

Four thousand
five hundred dollars.

Put out your hand.

This is the deed to our land.

I think Mr. Wilson said
for you to get off his land.

Now.

I'm putting an end to
this once and for all.

You hear? I'll put an
end to it once and for all.

And where do you put your
heart and soul, Mr. Cooper?

Tom's offered me half the ranch.

Are you considering it?

I am considering it.
You boys mount up.

We got us a little
job over at Buckhorn.

Let's go!

MAN: Well, what
do you know, boys?

The yellow-bellied
bounty hunter.

Hell, you ain't
even worth killing.

Yes, I will marry
you, Hayes Cooper.

( uplifting theme playing)

(grunting)

No!

Oh, God, no!

No. No.

(sobbing)

WALKER: Cooper would later write

that he died that day,

and God help the men
he took to hell with him.

( melancholy theme playing)

(horse whinnies)

Make the arrangements. Yes, sir.

SARAH: And where do you put
your heart and soul, Mr. Cooper?

(clicking)

( triumphant theme playing)

WALKER: Some men are
able to choose their destiny.

But that morning, riding
away from the Wilson's farm

for the last time,

Hayes Cooper's
destiny chose him.

That was to avenge the deaths

Cooper knew who did it, right?

BOY: Sure he did. He saw
the longcoats on the boardwalk

in front of the general store
when Kilgore faced him down.

Mm-hm. And he also saw
them riding away from the farm.

rode back to Buckhorn,

Only a couple of his
