Previously on "Third Watch.."

'I am Marie Connelly.'

I'm a psychiatrist contracted
by the police department.

We need to get you
under a protective watch.

I want him with me.

Her name was Taylor. Alex Taylor!

Was... because she's dead now.

Killed doin' the job you
should have been doing!

Licensed chiropractors

openly advertising
prostitution as sex therapy.

They're even billing Blue Cross for it.

His preliminary trial
starts this afternoon.

- Gary Barnes? - Yeah.

And he's tried six times to
have you replaced as his judge.

I'm going to be on the bench
this afternoon for the hearing.

'Court part zero-one now in session.'

'Please be seated and come to order.'

You should... I'm probably
gonna need a rape kit.

I swear to God, man.

I will blow up everything.

Okay, okay. I'm not moving.

Give me your gun.

No.

I will press this button, man.

- Give me the gun! - 'Take it easy.'

Take it easy. Okay. Okay.

There, alright?

'Now no one has it. Just leave.'

'Man, I'm not standing
in your way, just go.'

Go on. Get the other bag. Get in the car.

No one has to get hurt. Just go.

That's up to you, pig.

Just relax.

- Don't tell me to relax.
- Okay, alright. Alright.

Where are the keys?

What the hell is that?

It's my backup, let me,
let me just use my radio.

- I'll tell them to stay away.
- Come on, man. Hurry up!

- 'Do it! Tell 'em now.' - Okay. Alright.

55 Charlie emergency message.

We have a situation here, uh..

'...have all units headed to this location'

disregard stay out of the area.

Copy that, back off. Now!

'Copy that, 55 Charlie.'

- 'Keys?' - Okay.

'Alright, I'm gonna get in that car.'

'I'm gonna get the hell
outta here. You hear me.'

Those cops that are on the way

'they had better not get in my damn way.'

'No one's gettin' in your way.'

- 'Come on!' - Comin'!

'Look out!'

What you got in the house?

Okay. Okay, man, I give up.
I will end your life right now.

Please, man, I give up.

And I'll be staring you
in the eye while I do it.

You caught me, I give up.

- What? - Please, man. I-I give up.

It's all up to the pig now, right?

I give up! You got me man! You caught me.

- Davis. - Please.

Let's handcuff him and get out of here.

I am so sick of punk-ass cowards like you.

Turn over on your stomach.

- 'Roll!' - Ah.

We got to go, mama.

You're gonna have to let me drive here.

Yeah, well then hurry up.

'We're not in the parked car.'

I don't give a damn.

There are other people out here that do.

'If this guy comes while we're gone'

who knows how long it
will take for him to get back.

And if we don't make it there alive

it's not gonna matter, is it?

Hell, no.

- What the hell happened here?
- Who are you?

Sergeant Cruz, 5-5 Precinct.

Lieutenant Hanratty, Public Morals.

We just raided a whorehouse.

He's running it out of the
back of a medical office.

Yeah, I know, I had an operation here.

Why? Prostitution's our job.

This is my precinct.

Well, looks like we got here first.

Well, you can't do that.

Can't?

I just did.

Why are you so tired?

I was up all night

messing with my computer.

What's wrong with it?

I can't get the high speed to work.

I was on the phone
with the DSL tech till like

three in the morning.

- They work that late? - Oh, yeah.

Those guys have like no life at all.

'Boy 5-5-3, we have a leg injury'

'from a soccer game at one... '

Ah!

Adam 5-5-3 responding.

Is it Jack hot?

Well, if you need to take a nap later

we can pull into an alley.

You know what? I might take you up on that.

What the hell?

It wasn't my fault.

What was that?

'Help us!'

Oh, my God!

Adam 5-5-3 to central.
Emergency transmission.

'Go ahead, Adam 5-5-3.'

- This wasn't my fault. - Focus on the job.

I'm gonna need two BLS, a fire boss..

And PB forthwith.

Unit involved in an MVA

at One-two-three and King.

'Are either of you two injured?'

Negative, we both alright.

But there's an occupied bus involved.

Alright, everybody, listen up.

Just listen up.

Alright, you get the bus driver.
Everything's gonna be alright.

Stay right where you are and
we'll be by to check on you.

There's more help on the way.

Hey! Come on. I'm bleeding here.

Shut up! You call for a bus for him?

Nah. We'll take him in ourselves.

'It's not bad. Through
and through on his hand.'

Sully shot the detonator out of it.

- Really? - 'One shot Johnny.'

You guys did a great job here.

Made mine a lot easier.

You interested in transferrin' out here?

No, 5-5's busy enough thanks.

Come on, man. I need
some medical attention.

- Shut up! - 'Shut up!'

I'm serious, man, that
was the most amazing shot

I've ever seen in my life.

Yeah, except I was aiming at his head.

We got a problem, boss.

Hello to you too, sarge.

Public Morals raided
that chiropractor's office.

I know they're bringing
it all here for processing.

Yeah, well, I got an operation there.

I'm sorry, did I miss something?

Wasn't the whole point
to make the world safe

for decent citizen?

Yeah, but that was my operation.

Oh, I see. Like, you called it?

Come on. It's a Public
Morals case. It's what they do.

If anything you should've checked with them

to make sure they didn't
have something going on.

If they raided it. I'm sure
they had it under for a while.

'Six months, Swersky.'

Six months, my guys
have been sitting on this.

So, take a walk, sergeant.

You precinct people aren't
gonna embarrass my unit this time.

If you were sittin' on it, lieu

why didn't you know we were there all week?

Oh, we were concentrating on the big fish.

Dr. Ben Chow, charged with
running a house of prostitution.

This is all a mistake.

Uh-huh.

I can't be in every room with every girl

'that works for me all the time.'

If they're doing something on the side.

- How I'm supposed to know? - Yeah.

'On the side?'

You mean, like wantin'
me to step it inside a room

so you can sample the
merchandise before you hire me.

You're a cop?

And your the brains of the operation.

This is all a mistake.

We got six girls and five johns.

You're gonna write up the johns' DAT's

and I'm gonna cut them loose

I'll bring you the pedigree
cards as soon as I can.

Where do you want us?

Use the office in the back.

We need to open up that place back up.

Excuse me.

God.

- 'Help me.' - I'm bleeding.

- Take it easy. - 'I'm bleeding.'

- It's okay. - I'm bleeding. I'm bleeding.

We're gonna get you out of here, okay?

- Are your parents on the bus? - No.

Okay, what's your name?

Bethan..

What is it?

- Bethany. - It's okay. It's okay.

You're gonna be fine. I'm
gonna get you to the hospital.

Look at me. Look at me.

And then, I'm gonna
call your parents, okay?

'He collapsed before the accident.'

We were out of control.

My chest.

- Your, chest? - 'Uh.'

Can't breath.

Hey, can you guys give us a minute, please?

Okay, take a deep breath.

Bastard looked at me like
he didn't even know who I was.

I know, but we're gonna
get the evidence kit

and we're gonna talk to Swersky.

I told you, I cannot let
anyone in the department

know about what happened.

'Are you talking about the department'

or you telling about the guys around here?

I'm not reporting it.

Reporting what?

My your own damn business.

Uh-oh. Who are you
working with now? The CIA?

Department of Homeland Security? ASPCA?

Leave her alone, Bosco.

What? You too?

No, we got something going on.

I thought you would've been
happy enough Animals going down.

Oh, what's her problem now?

I told you, we got something going on.

Yeah, if you don't mind a little advice

I'd watch myself, that's
one dangerous bitch.

Uh, Bosco..

Shame she's havin' a bad day though.

- '5-5 David.' - David.

'We have EMS involved in an accident'

'with an MTA bus at One-oh-one and Green'

Are you kiddin' me?

Don't lose your cool, alright?

You can't DAT the Johns.

You got a thing with "can't."

I'm just asking you to put
them through the system.

'It's an A misdemeanor.'

ADA Burns.

Those who cooperate and have
no priors are getting cut loose.

What's wrong?

Can I talk to you for a second?

- Yeah. - Sergeant Cruz.

Okay, over here.

You see that guy over there?

Some of the girls are saying he raped them.

Which girls?

Well, main one isn't here

she's a receptionist at the doctors office.

Shouldn't you be getting her here then?

Let me talk to this Chow guy?

Watch your step. Nice and easy. Easy.

Alright, I want you to sit
right down here, honey, okay?

'I'll be right back for you.'

- 'Sit down.' - Go get some statements.

What in the hell happened?

I don't know just yet, the bus hit us.

'Come here, Carlos.'

How many people were on it?

How many people were
on the bus when it hit you?

Um, I don't know like seven or eight.

'There's like 20 people here.'

Never let them leave the damn bus.

'You guys, alright?'

He had a heart attack while he was driving

and ran into us.

Looks like a ROMI. We need more hands.

He's throwing PVC's. Lidocaine.

'Hey, doc's here.'

- He can help out. - Here. Start triaging.

Doc, man, you gotta tell your
people to secure these buses

or at least get a head count.

This one's turning out to have

more passengers than the Titanic.

- Is that my rig? - It's not their fault.

'Witnesses said the bus
ran a red light and hit them.'

- Where's Carlos? - Working.

- He's gonna blame me. - Forget about him.

Is my attorney here?

We're not gonna ask about the prostitution.

Can we work something out on my charges?

You'd roll out on everyone that fast?

Do we have a deal?

- Yes. - No!

What are you 15 years old?

I'm trying to get a serial rapist

and you're holding it up
for prostitution charge.

Oh, it's not just the prostitution

it's insurance fraud, Medicare...

Where are all the real ADA's, huh?

Listen, I'll tell you
anything you want to know

'on the girls, on the customers, anything.'

Just give me some kinda deal.

I have a family.

Anyone?

Yeah.

What can you tell me
about Mr. Thomas Warner?

- Who? - Thomas Warner.

You throw money at
the girls for handling him

'cause of what he does to them.

No, no. I don't give anyone
extra money for anything.

Huh? You gonna lie to me?

- Cruz! Hey! Hey, Cruz! - I'm not lying.

Because I will make jail
look real good for you.

Back up and you sit down.

I don't know.

Well, now would be a real
good time to start talking.

I don't know him.

You know what he does?

I don't even know who he is?

You mean, you don't pay
these girls extra because..

'...he beats 'em up.'

Why-why would I do something like that?

I told you, when you came in

I was running a business.

So, you... you don't know Thomas Warner?

I wish I did.

Where's Ginger?

Ginger?

Ginger, the receptionist.

He shouldn't have been driving.

I was tired.

But alert enough to work on patients.

Doc, this wasn't Eugene's fault.

Listen, if there's anything
that implicates him

I'm writing him up.

I guess you gotta spend
your time doing something.

'What's wrong? Principal write you up?'

Hey, what do you think you're doing?

- I got ejected from the bus. - Nice try.

Why don't you use some of
those big words and yourself a job?

Look, I-I-I gotta head injury.

Yeah, it's called lice. Move it!

- Hey, officer.
- I'm not gonna tell you again.

The little girl just fell.

Somebody help me!

- Oh, what's happening? - Back up.

- 'Go on.' - Back up.

Carlos said the kid was alert on the bus.

I'll get an IV going.

I'll get the saline lock.
You get Valium on board.

Hey, I've got this.

You draw the Valium.

I'll get the saline lock.

You get Valium 'cause
you got it in your bag.

I'm not asking you!

This is my patient.

What the hell is wrong with you?

Hey! Hey!

- Come on, doc. - Whoa, whoa.

Just get him outta here.

- 'Get him outta here.' - Hey.

- Come here.
- 'Carlos, I need you here now.'

- What the hell was that about?
- I'm sick of his crap.

What the hell is going on here?

- 'Carlos.' - Alright.

- What you need? - I need Valium on board.

Can't follow a simple order.

- Let me talk to her. - No.

- 'It's me, Rosie, from work.'
- Just a second.

I was gonna call you. The place got raided.

Sergeant Cruz, NYPD.

You're a cop?

Why would you lie to me
about Chow paying extra?

I don't know what you're talkin' about.

You said, he paid you to
keep quiet about the rapes.

Mom! The macaroni's burning!

Uh, uh, t-turn the burner down, honey.

My family doesn't know about what I do.

Why would you lie?

He doesn't like trouble.

If I'd come to him with Warner,
he might have closed down.

'I worked in too many bad places.'

Did he rape you?

I never said that.

- I got to get back inside.
- Did he attack you?

What difference does it make?

He should pay for what he did to you.

Me?

If I had come in to your
station house one night and said

"Hi, I work in a whorehouse and
some guy came in and raped me."

What would you have said to me, officers?

I got to finish making dinner.

Hey! What are you doing? No!

If you're not gonna
cooperate you're under arrest!

Mom?

- Okay, Billy. Okay. - Let's go.

- Take him? - It's okay.

I got him.

- What you got there, Sully?
- It's Frank Morgan.

At least, two murders,
and the attempted murders

of police officers and
a Supreme Court judge.

- This is the bomb guy? - Yeah.

He looks a little different
when he isn't running away.

Hey, man, this guy was gonna kill me!

What are you talkin' about was?

There's a lot of time left in the day.

And the other charges, I'm
gonna just have to look up.

Hey! I don't wanna be left alone with him!

Let's go. Shut up.

Come on! You'll be friends.

Davis gonna be alright?

Yeah, he'll be fine.

Don't worry about it.

- Nice collar! - Thanks.

Where's my mom?

Well, she's a little
busy right now, sweety.

Can I see her?

Not right this second.
I'll be right back though.

What are you doing?

Insurance fraud. It's a federal offence.

No. I mean, what are you doing here?

You're gonna put these
people through the system

while you sit on the sidelines?

Save it, okay?

You alright?

- What? - You just jumped.

- I did? - Yeah.

- Are you alright? - Yeah. I'm fine.

- Are you sure? Is it your back?
- No. I'm fine.

Hey, look at that. That
new mini-mall's open.

Looks nice, huh?

Maybe, I'll take Charlie over here later.

He needs new shoes again.

Kid's growing like a weed.

Frank Morgan!

This is the part where
you tell me who had you

come after Judge Halsted.

Why don't you go to hell?

You want to help yourself here, Frank.

What would it get me?

It couldn't hurt.

How about you go screw yourself, huh?

Look at this, Davis.

He thinks since he's locked in the cage

he can get all ballsy on us again.

You're not gonna do
anything in a police station.

If you were gonna do me, it
would have been out there!

What the hell kinda
logic is that, Frank? Huh?

Out there, there's hundreds of witnesses

lookin' out of those windows.

'What you got in here?'

Nothin' but cops!

What are you doing?

Damn it, Davis.

We left this cage unlocked.

Hey! Hey! somebody help!

I think we may have an escape on our hands.

Help! Somebody! Come on! Help!

Frank, I'm gonna leave
Officer Davis here to..

Deal with this escape attempt
in whatever way he sees fit.

Help me, somebody! Come on!

Somebody help me!

Flower guy.

Which one of your knee
caps is your least favorite?

- Somebody! - Hmm?

Help!

I guess I can just break them both!

Okay, okay!

Come on, man!

It was Animal.

Animal didn't want her
on her... on his trial, man!

It was Animal! Gary Barnes! He told me to.

We're finished.

Hungry?

- Honey? - Hmm?

Are you hungry?

- No. - You sure?

No, I'm not hungry.

I'm gonna make a sandwich.

'I can make you one.'

- Fred. - Alright, alright, I'm sorry.

Fred.

I knew it. Is salami okay?

What kind of a person do you think I am?

What do you mean?

Nothin'.

- You stupid bitch!
- I didn't know she was a cop.

Because you don't think.

I mean, how are you
gonna tell her my business?

'Don't mess me up with this now.'

You sure you wanna do this?

Definitely.

Okay, girls.

We got promotion of prostitution
and conspiracy to defraud.

No, uh-uh. We didn't
conspire to do anything.

- You ran the credit slip. - So what?

That's a federal offence.

I mean, you're looking at... 10 to 15.

And when Blue Cross and
GHI find that you've billed out

over a hundred thousand
dollars worth of dates..

'...those feds, they're gonna make sure'

that you serve every day of it.

Don't say anything.

Now... you talk to us about Thomas Warner

this all gonna go away.

You told her my business.

Don't let this guy get away with it.

Oh, please, like he's gonna go down

for getting rough with a prostitute.

Our ADA is a woman.

She promised me with
your help that she will indict.

All you gotta do... is initial the photo..

And it all goes away.

You girls did good.

Proctor, how's that little girl?

Nasty concussion, but she'll be okay.

Thanks.

Carlos. Let's go.

Union rep's waiting for
us back at the station.

Union rep?

I'm filing a complaint against Parker.

What?

You called the union?

The rep's gonna need
to talk to you guys too.

What?

You don't call downtown.

You handle your own business, man.

He hit me.

Kim, I'm gonna need
you to be my witness too.

I was working on the bus driver.

What's he given you? Bigger lockers?

It's just the way things are done.

Ever since I got here,
the guy's had it out for me.

You know he came to my house

and blamed me for that medic's death?

Taylor?

He said it was my fault because

I was supposed to be on the bus that day.

Now he's pushing me over patients.

Somebody has to report him and if you guys

don't have the balls to do it, I will.

There's other ways to handle this, Eugene.

You know what? Screw you.

Screw this.

Eugene, come on.

I quit.

- Great. - 'Officer Siddell to 7-4-4-5..'

Doc went to his house? No way.

Doc has been acting kinda funny lately.

Like, come on, one day
he's saying that we're Gods.

The next day he's writing
me up. And then today?

Doc would never go this house.

You don't know that for sure.

Yeah. Well... I'll ask him.

Good.

So, uh, on the day of the rape

was it busy?

It was average.

Well, how many johns did
you see prior to Warner?

- Five or six. - 'Is that normal?'

Yeah.

Okay, so this guy, Warner, he walks in

he takes a look at the menu,
he tells you what he wants.

Then what?

Then he raped me.

But how? Did he punch you? Did he hit you?

Not paying the bill isn't a rape.

'See, we have to find out
how Warner was different'

from the other five guys
that you saw that day.

Or the, you know, the other 10,000

'you've seen in your career.'

- Are you happy? - Hollander?

It's an admitted prostitute
claiming that she was raped.

You think this is rough

wait till a defense
attorney gets hold of her.

Alright.

We need specifics.

He... punched me in the stomach.

Yeah, he punched you and then what?

Then he pushed me onto my back.

'And I couldn't breathe.'

And I kept trying to tell him to stop.

'Oh, you kept trying to tell him to stop'

but-but you didn't actually say, "Stop?"

I couldn't breathe.

Take all the time you need.

I just need a minute.

Sergeant Cruz?

DA is gonna talk to your
rapist. You wanna sit in?

Damn right I do.

Is there something else
going on around here?

She's gonna be okay.

Is that him?

Yeah.

Judge..

What's your name?

I already told him everything.

What is your name?

I didn't have nothin'...
against you personally.

Frank.

Judge, you don't have to be here.

Frank.

The man that you murdered... in my car..

Was named Henry Green.

He was 47 years old
and he had three children.

And all he did was drive for me.

The woman was named Neda.

She was from El Salvador.

She was like a mother to my children.

And I loved her very much.

- I... - You're what? Sorry?

You're sorry?

I didn't have nothing personal.

Hmm. I just wanted you to know that.

I wanted you to know their names.

I won't have anything to do with your case.

But if I have any influence..

I'm going to see to it that you suffer

and you get the death penalty.

It was Animal.

You guys said you were gonna help me!

You tried to kill a judge twice.

There's really not much we
can do for you, sweet pea.

Look, this is not how it happened.

You guys have got it all wrong.

Two counts of rape here, Mr. Warner.

It was not rape!

I mean, I told her what I wanted

and she was supposed to give it to me.

- 'You hit her.' - But..

But not hard. It was all part of this game.

- She fought you. - See, that's not true!

- 'You're lying.'
- 'We have witness statements.'

Both Ginger and Candy
saying that you raped them!

Wait, um, who?

Playing dumb is a waste
of time for both of us.

Um, uh, wait. It's Ginger and Candy?

Alright.

I told them I liked it rough.

'And they said..'

'...I could do whatever I wanted.'

'But they told you to stop!'

No... they thanked me. Alright?

They signed the treatment receipts.

They told me to come back, both of 'em.

I mean, I've got the receipts at home.

Sergeant Cruz? Can I talk to you a second?

- He's got receipts. - I didn't know.

What do you mean you didn't know?

They never told us.

Well, I may be young, but Clarence Darrow

couldn't convince a jury this was rape.

But it was.

'And they took payment for it?'

'Never reported it, no rape
kit, no physical evidence.'

'I'm gonna DP this case
until you get more evidence.'

- 'Cut him loose.' - 'No!'

Hang on! Wh-what do we tell the girls?

To get a new profession.

This happened to me!

What?

This happened to me too.

He raped me when I was undercover.

I had a rape kit done at
Mercy and an AIDS test too.

Where is it?

The crime lab.

Um... Jane Doe'd but numbered.

God, sergeant, how
could you not report this?

I am reporting this.

So, in your undercover capacity

did you have sex with anyone else?

You son of a bitch! You
don't speak to me like that!

- We have a report to file!
- You get outta here!

- That's a standard question!
- Not in this case. Get out.

Look. I'm gonna have to
talk to her at some point.

Yeah, we'll see about that.

- I'm sorry. - You okay?

Yeah, he's just..

Maritza, I want you to take some time off.

No. I am taking Warner to central booking.

- No, you aren't. - He's my collar.

You need to take some time.

That's why I didn't say anything.

I don't wanna be treated differently.

I don't need to go home.
I need to do my job.

What's going on?

- Nothing. - Nothin'?

Sex Crimes is all over the place.

Public Morals, what
the hell did she do now?

- She didn't do anything, Bosco. - Ah.

See, that's how it starts.
That's how she gets you.

You don't even know what's happenin'.

- No. Not this time. - No. All the time.

It's the last time I'm
gonna tell you. Be careful.

Hey, guys. How you doing?

Hey!

- They almost finished up there? - Yeah.

She's up there talking
with your boss right now.

- So what's on your mind?
- Well, Eugene quit.

Huh? What'd I tell you, huh?
I told you he couldn't cut it.

- Well, that's not all. - What?

He... he said that you came to his house

and blamed him for Taylor's death.

Yeah, yeah.

Well, if he had gone to work that day

Taylor would be alive.

What?

She died because the car exploded, right?

He's the one that should've been on it.

Doc, that wasn't Eugene's fault.

Well, then whose fault was
it? It wasn't yours or Kim's.

Hey-hey, and sure as hell wasn't mine!

You actually went to his house?

Someone had to tell him what he did!

He's gonna file a suit against you.

Now, see, because when downtown finds out

that he killed Taylor..

They're gonna be happy he quit.

And-and there's less paperwork.

- Hey, Bosco. - Sir.

I need you to transport
someone to central booking.

He can't go on a prisoner run?

- I want this guy out of here. - Why?

Never mind. I want him gone.

- This isn't Cruz, is it? - Excuse me?

I don't wanna be involved
in anything she's touched.

Boscorelli, transport the prisoner.

They're gonna love this back at the house.

No, they won't.

Ever since the academy, I was on my game.

You know, if they wanted
25 push-ups... I gave 'em 50.

At the range they wanted a score of 80..

I got 98.

When I couldn't climb
over that wall, I built one

I put one of those in my backyard

so that I could practice.

You're gonna get over this.

I bet they're adding a "Breasts
and badges don't mix" chapter

to that patrol guide.

The department has your back, Cruz.

I should've fought harder.

None of this was your fault.

'None of it. You gotta know that.'

'So what happened?'

I want an attorney.

I'm not asking you officially.

Oh, just between you and me, huh?

Your package here says, "Sexual assault."

I-I don't wanna talk to
you. You understand that?

Sergeant Cruz lock you up?

- Cruz. - Yeah.

Bitch on wheels, huh?

Yeah.

Look, man, I told
you. This is not official.

'Tell me what happened.'

'Maybe I can help you out.'

Oh, you wanna help me out? Why?

Let's just say I've seen the way she works.

Unofficial?

Just you and me.

Alright, she wanted it rough!

'And now she's switching her story!'

Rough?

Just because she's a cop

she's automatically believed.

'I mean, it's-it's not like a cop'

'could possibly like it a little rough.'

What are you talking about?

You know, "Spank me,
pull my hair, oh, baby."

All that stuff. I mean,
it's a guilt trip, right?

It's like they can't enjoy it

unless they're getting
punished at the same time.

'And that's all this ever was'

'is a little punishment
for her bein' a bad girl.'

Are you talking about Cruz?

The bitch wanted it!

Sergeant Cruz? She's..

She's the victim? She's who you raped?

What I'm saying is that she wanted it.

'Okay? She wanted to
be bad and I gave it to her.'

- What are you doin'?
- You raped Sergeant Cruz?

That's a New York City police officer.

I mean, I thought this was
just between you and me, right?

You're not gonna beat
me up or anything, are ya?

What's going on?

Looks like you guys are gonna

have to take it from here.

Just my luck, I got a flat.

- Take what? - I have a prisoner transport.

You don't have a flat.

Oh.

It's a slow leak.

- Bosco, what's your problem? - I told you.

I need you to take my transport.

This is not the way to solve this.

He's all yours.

Get out.

No.

- Get out! - Cruz! Don't do this!

- Son of a bitch! - Cruz!

'Cruz!'

You are gonna pay for this.

Trust me.

Honey?

I'm okay.

Go back to sleep.

Did somethin' happen with that therapist?

You know that mini-mall
that we passed today?

You said that it looked nice.

Yeah?

There was a guy that came out front.

He went over to use the pay phone

only he never dialed.

He never put any money in.

He was pretending to use the phone.

Which means that there was
probably a squad parked nearby.

And then on the other
end of the parking lot

there was this redneck-looking guy.

And he sold a small baggie to
these two Hispanic teenagers

that were... in this tan
car with out-of-state plates.

And then this woman comes out of the store

and... she has a coat on that's way too big

and hot for this weather.

And she's real heavy around the middle

but her legs are skinny.

So... I'm guessing that

she probably boosted that store

for all the swag that she
could get up that coat.

We only looked at it for a second.

You know what I didn't see?

I didn't see a nice new store

'where we could buy
our son a pair of shoes.'

I'll take him somewhere else.

I'm saying that we
didn't see the same thing.

I'm not the same person I was..

Before the job.

Before I became the police.

Faith..

I just don't like who I am anymore.

'Oh, honey.'

Can we just get outta here?

Just us, just the family. We
could just go away somewhere.

Just get outta here.
Just get out of the city.

'Okay, okay. Alright, honey.'

- Yeah, we'll go away.
- Okay, 'cause I have to.

Do you wanna, um, go have a drink?

I think I'm gonna head home.

Can I walk with you?

- I'm cool. - Alright. See you tomorrow.

How you doin'?

I'm okay.

That was, um... that was
nice, you calling and all.

Yeah, and next time
before I push the knife in

remind me who's gonna
have to change that damn tire.

So he made it all the way
to central booking alive?

Yeah. Not a scratch.

So, um, guess I'll see you around.

You wanna get something
to eat or something?

Would you be asking
me that if it was Tuesday?

Just... just pretend it's Tuesday.

You didn't deserve what happened to you.

John.

Judge?

Do you know how long it has been

since I've gone for a ride?

I would've guessed forever.

My husband and I used
to do it all the time upstate.

And you call me surprising?

You said that, uh... you
went to this diner every night?

Uh-huh.

Well, I felt like some coffee

so... I thought perhaps I would join you.

- Is that right? - Yes.

Come on. What do you say?

A cup of coffee with a judge.

You really know how to ride that thing?

I'm not bad.

Hey, you.

- What? - Your name Warner?

Yeah. Who are you?

Guards!

Got a little message for you

from Sergeant Cruz.

'Guard!'
