The Vampire Diaries (2009–2017): Season 8, Episode 8 - We Have History Together - full transcript

Stefan and Damon attend an anger management support group looking for their next victim. Sybil is still alive and teaching a group of high school students who she'll later use as leverage to get Caroline to locate a historical artifact that can be used against her. Meanwhile, Stefan and Damon continue their commitment to Cade as they test the morals of a young doctor, Tara.

- Well...

If that's true, then...

I think she's ready
to meet the boss.

Matt, I figured something out.

- About the sirens?
- Dorian: No, not exactly.

About their toys. I figured it
out from Dalton's measurements.

The Maxwell heirloom
and the tuning fork,

those things fit together
to make a clapper,

the hammer that swings
inside a bell.

So those three missing things,

they're all a part of one bell.

When properly assembled,
this bell becomes,

like, a mystical,
witchified super-bell.

I mean, it makes you wonder
what happens when you ring it.

If the sound of the tuning fork
hurts the sirens,

imagine that magnified
by a thousand.

Oh, wow, that's cool, right?

Matt? Matt, you there?

Yeah, I gotta call you back.

Hey...

Hey, hey, listen. Look...

You need to back away, okay?

"Looking for something?

Here, go.

Matt, look out!

Go, go, go, go!

It's okay.

You finished your assignment.

Sybil's done with all of you now.

I think I figured it out.

It's not that you're trying
to screw things up.

- Thanks.
- It's more submerged.

Growing up,
