The Snoopy Show (2021–…): Season 1, Episode 4 - Happiness Is a Snow Day - full transcript

Snoopy shows Marcie how to enjoy a snow day; helps Rerun retrieve a runaway sled; and builds a snowman with Woodstock.

MARCIE: "Happiness Is a Snow Day."

[WIND WHISTLING]

[STRAINING]

[CHIRPS, CHATTERS]

[GIGGLES]

[ALL GULP]

[CHATTERS]

[ALL SHOUTING]

[ALL SCREAM]

[CHATTERING EXCITEDLY]

[CHEERING]

[SHOUTING EXCITEDLY]

Happy snow day, Marcie.
Don't you just love it?

I suppose.
If you like getting soggy.

RERUN: Snow day!

No school today!

The possibilities are endless!

Why are you so excited?
You don't even go to school.

I don't?

I'm always the last to know.

Heads up, Marcie.

Impressive stop, sir.

Hey, why don't you strap
on some skis and join me?

I don't think so, sir.

I'm reading this interesting text
on mathematics

and the science of geometric patterns.

See?

Come on, Marcie.
It's a snow day, not weird book day.

Try to have some fun.

- I'd rather not, sir.
- [SLURPING]

I don't get it. What's so fun
about a snow day anyway?

I'm just not sure it's for me.

I wouldn't even know where to start.

Try catching a snowflake
on your tongue, Rerun.

Like this.

Ahhh.

Mmm.

Notice how the post-Christmas snowflakes
have a slightly sweeter aftertaste.

Now your turn.

Ahhh.

Ah.

They all taste good to me.

Ahhh.

Ahhh.

Ah.
[CHUCKLES]

[GULPS]

Oh, I could never eat a snowflake.

Their patterns are too beautiful.

Sixfold symmetry at its finest.

[GROANS]

Ahhh.

Careful, you'll get brain freeze.

[GROANS]

I don't regret my choices.

BIRDS: Ahhh!

[ALL GULP]

[ALL SCREAM]

Pigpen, that has to be the
world's dirtiest snow angel.

I think it's got character.

I call mine Archangel Michael the Mighty.

What do you call yours, Charlie Brown?

Disappointing.

SNOOPY: Hmm.

Impressive.

But I'm not sure I should lie in the snow.

I'm only wearing three layers,
and only two of them are waterproof.

[CHUCKLES]

Okay, I'll give it a try.

Now that's an idea I can get behind.

Snow forts comprise the basic forms
of geometrical architecture.

We're gonna need cylinders,
rectangular prisms,

- trapezoids and irregular triangles.
- [CONSTRUCTION NOISES]

Ta-da!

Ooh!

Challenge!

Challenge accepted.
[GRUNTS]

Hey!
[GRUNTS]

FRANKLIN: Oh, I got you.
[LAUGHS]

- [PIGPEN GRUNTS]
- [SNOOPY LAUGHING]

FRANKLIN: Whoo!

[THUDS]

[SIGHS]

Maybe I'm more of an inside kid.

Uh-uh.

[ALL LAUGHING]

I don't care much for winter sports.

Stay out! Shoo! Go away!

[BLOWS]

[SCREAMS]

- [WHISTLE BLOWS]
- [BUZZER BUZZES]

[TEETH CHATTERING]

[GROANS]

Glad to see you're having fun, Marcie.

Don't worry about missing all those shots.

As they say in hockey,
better puck next time.

[CHUCKLES]

Good one, sir. Hilarious, as usual.

[SIGHS]

Snoopy, I appreciate you trying to help me.

I'm just not cut out for snow days.

Whoa!

[WALTZ PLAYING]

Neat.

[WALTZ CONTINUES]

Would you look at that?

I created a parabolic spiral.

Just like in my geometry book.

I wonder what else I can do?

Whoo-hoo! Yeah!

[MUSIC STOPS]

Look at you, Marcie.
You're a pretty good figure skater.

No, sir. I'm not figure skating.

I'm skating figures.

This is a trochoid design.
And these are cycloid curves.

Either way, happy snow day, Marcie.

Hey, everyone! Marcie's
invented a new game.

I wanna play.

Me too.

[ALL CHEERING]

[CHEERING]
Yay! Yeah!

I made a circle.

I made a triangle.

I made a straight line... almost.

Thanks, Snoopy. That was fun.

I guess snow days come
in all shapes and sizes.

[WOODSTOCK EXCLAIMING, LAUGHS]

[GROANS, SCREAMS]

[CHIRPING]

Huh?
[GRUNTS]

MARCIE: "Sled Alert."

[ALL LAUGHING]

[EXCITED CHIRPING]

[CHIRPS]

[SNOOPY GRUNTS]

- WOODSTOCK: Whoo!
- [LAUGHS]

Hey, guys. Wait for me.

Rats!

[LAUGHING]

Whoo-hoo!

Ah. Hot cocoa. Winter's lemonade.

Whoo-hoo!

[LAUGHING]

[WHIMPERS]

Whoo-hoo!

[WOODSTOCK LAUGHING]

Great.
Now what you need is a hat.

LUCY: Charlie Brown.

I can't tell who has the rounder head,

that snowman or you.

Hmm.

[SNOOPY AND WOODSTOCK SCREAMING]

Nope. Can't tell.

Good grief.

[BOTH LAUGHING]

RERUN: Snoopy!

Could you bring up my sled?

Nuh-uh.

Please! You would be my hero!

[GRUMBLES]

I've got treats!

[GASPS]

I think you're gonna have to pull it up.

[WOODSTOCK STRAINING]

[SLURPS]

[CONTINUES STRAINING, GRUNTING]

Ah, the daring arctic explorer,
braving the frozen north.

Go forth, great adventurer.

[STRAINING CONTINUES]

[SCREAMS]

- [SLURPS]
- [SCREAMING]

Ah.

[SCREAMING]

[GRUNTING]

[SNOOPY SCREAMING]

I can't stand it.

[SHEEPISH CHUCKLE]

[GRUMBLES]

[STRAINING]

[GRUNTS]

[STRAINS]

Ah, yes.
The world-famous mountaineer.

Out to conquer nature's greatest heights.

[STRAINING]

[BIRDS LAUGHING]

[GRUMBLES]

[GRUNTS]

[BIRDS SHRIEK]

[CRASH]

- [LAUGHING]
- [SIGHS]

I'm missing out on all the fun.

Hey, Snoopy, would two treats
hurry things up?

[MURMURS]

A penguin?

They're good at walking in snow,

but I'm not sure they have
the towing capacity.

[SNOOPY AND WOODSTOCK YELL]

[SNOOPY GRUMBLING]

A moose. That's more like it.

You're almost there.

[BOTH STRAINING]

Go, Snoopy, go.

[STRAINING]

[GROANS, GRUNTS]

Ah!

[BOTH YELL]

Good thing my mom always packs me a spare.

[YELLING]

[YELLING CONTINUES]

Nice catch, sir.

[YELLING]

[SLURPS]

[SCREAMING]

- Huh?
- [SCREAMING]

I probably should've seen this coming.

At least we're in this together.

[SCREAMING]

The secret to happiness is knowing
where to build your snowman.

[SCREAMING]

[BOTH GROAN]

Snoopy! I'm over here.

[GRUMBLES, GRUNTS]

[GRUNTING]

I did it. The perfect snowman.

A little planning and a lot of
hard work always pays off.

[SCREAMING]

I think the universe is
trying to tell me something.

[SCREAMING]

[SNOWBALL WHIRRING]

[CRASH]

[CONFUSED MUMBLING]

Ta-da!

Hooray! I'm so happy to see you.

[CHUCKLES]

[CHUCKLING]

[CLEARS THROAT]

Oh, I almost forgot.

[GULPS]

- Care to join me?
- SNOOPY: Huh?

Mm!

- One... two... whee!
- [BOTH CHEER]

- SNOOPY: Whoo-hoo!
- [CHEERS]

[CHEERS, LAUGHING]

That was amazing! Let's go again!

And again and again!

After you bring my sled up!

- [GRUMBLES]
- [SIGHS]

[CHIRPING]

[YELPS, GRUNTS]

MARCIE: "Snowman Showman."

Hmm.

[WIND WHISTLES]

Whoo-hoo!
[WHISTLES]

[LAUGHS]

[BIRDS CHATTERING]

[CLEARS THROAT]

[DRUMROLL]

[LAUGHING]

Whee!
[LAUGHS]

[SNORING]

[LAUGHING]

[SHEEPISH CHUCKLE]

[DRUMROLL]

- [MUMBLES]
- [BIRDS CHIRP]

- [MUMBLES]
- [BIRDS CHIRP]

[BLOWS, SLURPS]

[YELLING]

[STRAINING]

Uh-oh.
This is not gonna end well.

SALLY: Oh, big brother.

I have to write a story for school.

It needs to be on
something really interesting.

And you wanna write it about me?

No, that never occurred to me.

Do you have any other ideas?

Snoopy's building a snowman.

Um, maybe there's
something interesting on TV.

Oh, it'll get interesting soon.

Hmm.

[GRUNTING]

[BIRDS CHEER]

[GRUMBLES]

[STRAINING]

- [WHISTLES]
- [BIRDS STRAINING]

[YELLING]

[SLURPING]

[YELLING]

[SLURPING]

- [YELLING CONTINUES]
- [SLURPING CONTINUES]

[STRAINING]

SNOOPY: Hmm. Hmm.

[GRUMBLES]

Are you sure you wanna
build a snowman, Snoopy?

You know how you get when they melt.

[HOWLING]

[LAUGHS, SLURPS]

Well, have fun.

[WOODSTOCK CHIRPS]

Hey! That's my lucky hockey stick.

And that's my lucky backup hockey stick.

- [GRUMBLES]
- [SHEEPISH CHUCKLE]

[WHISTLES]

Uh-uh-uh.

Uh-uh.

[BIRDS GRUNTING]

Mm...

[CHEERING]

[SIGHS]

[DRUMROLL]

[GASPS]

[GRUMBLING]

[BOOING]

[GRUMBLES]

[BIRDS GRUMBLE]

- [GRUMBLES]

[CHEERING, LAUGHING]

SNOOPY: Whoo-hoo!

- Whoo!

[CHEERING, LAUGHING]

- Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!
- [CHEERS]

Whoo-hoo-hoo! Hoo-hoo!

Hmm?

Whoo-hoo! Yeah!

Uh-oh. It's warming up.
I better prepare for the inevitable.

[CHEERING]

[WHISTLES]

WOODSTOCK: Hmm?

Aha!

[WIND WHISTLES]

[BIRDS CHEER]

[ALL SINGING SEA SHANTY]

[SEA SHANTY CONTINUES]

- [SINGING STOPS]
- [SIGHS] This is terrible.

I know! There's nothing on TV.

I'm going to need your help after all.

I'll be eternally grateful.

[SINGING SHANTY]

I could show you how to make cookies.

That sounds like it has potential.

Let me know when they're done.

[SINGING CONTINUES]

[SINGING STOPS]

[GASPS]

[GASPS]

[BLOWING]

[ALL BLOWING]

[WHIMPERING]

[YELLS]

[OVEN BELL DINGS]

Just in time.

[HOWLING]

[ALL HOWLING]

That's too bad about your snowman, Snoopy.

[SOBS]

- [SOBBING]
- [BIRDS HOWLING]

Just have one of these.
The next best thing to a real snowman.

[GASPS]

[WHISTLES]

[BIRDS CHIRPING]

Now that's an interesting story.

"My Big Brother, the Snowman."

It writes itself.

The things I do for my dog.

[ALL CHEER]

Whoa! Whoa!

[JAZZ PLAYING]
