the Ghostbusters

to tell the city
to surrender.

I'll get out the Ecto-Strobe.

Find her before she gets away.

It's time to find out
what's going on around here.

The ghosts must bescaring them away.

They are coming out
of the subways.

We're gonna bust some ghosts.

That foolish reporter

Soon, everybody will be
too frightened

to come out
of their apartments

and then I'll take over

into the city every day?

and your ghost friends
are here, Big Tooth.

[Big Tooth]

to Brooklyn Bridge?

[chuckling]

Fortunately, those
big mouth of yours

Now time to use them to cut
the Brooklyn Bridge in half.

-[Tracy grunts]

[babbling]

All right, Miss Star Reporter.

Here's your story.

Watch how I make New Yorkthe capital of my ghost empire.

Big Tooth, Sweet Tooth, Cavity

time for you to get
to work on the bridge.

Go, cut it in half.

[grunting]

[laughing]

Tracy, do you know

[chugging]

[grunting]

And I thought subways
stayed underground.

Not when they go across rivers.

This must bethe Brooklyn Bridge.

[screeches]

Uh-oh, I spoke too soon. Look!

[dramatic music]

[chomping]

[mumbling]

Oh, my gosh,
they're eating the bridge.

So that's what Jessica meant.

The ghosts
are cutting it in half

so nobody can come
into the city.

Come on, we gotta stop 'em.

[dramatic music]

[Jake]Try to get close enough for meto use the Dematerializer.

[grunting]You will...

if it isn'tthe Ghostbummers.

Yeah, and G.B., ooh,
I love those rubber tires.

[all]
Mm, yum, yum, yum.

Yum!

[screeches]

[Jake]
I'll get 'em.

[G.B.]

Yummy tires.

Tracy, help!

They're coming at me
from all directions.

[all screaming]

Listen, man,you're not the boss.

[chuckling]

[ghosts babbling]

[grunting]

Those fools don't scare us,
but it doesn't matter.

The Brooklyn Bridge is broken,
my plan is working.

Look.

[Eddie]
Sufferin' spankers!

There's a subway train headingfor that break in the bridge.

-We gotta do something.
-Yeah, but what?

No full moon tonight

so I can't call on Fuddyfor super strength.

[grunting]

Gosh, Trace it's a big bridge.

But it's the only chance
we have.

I'll take the wheel
and you go for it.

[swooshes]

[intense music]

Better do it fast.

[grunting]

-Yay! He did it.
-Yah! He did it.

Come on, let's pick him up.

[Jessica]
Ho-ho, good ol' Tracy,
he always comes through.

I'm not finished yet.
I still have you.

And the Ghostbusters
don't know where you are.

[thinking]
Maybe no, maybe yes.

[Jake]
The Brooklyn Bridge
will be OK.

But we still don't know
where Jessica is.

[beeping]

Listen. That's your
emergency signal.

She must have switched it on
so we can track her.

-Can you do it, Trace?
-No, problem.

[beeping]

Hey, it's coming
from the building over there.

[Benny over TV] Boss? Boss, the Ghostbusters are outside the building.

They know where I am now.

Wait. That's even better.

Let the Ghostbummers in.

-Then grab 'em.
-You got it.

Don't get lonely, reporter.

In a few minutes, your friends
will be right here with you.

[thinking] If I could just get out of these ropes.

Wait, the plant. One good kick should do it.

[crashes]

is sharp enough.

Now, if I could just find
another way out of here.

OK, here's the plan.

Trace, you check the outside,while Eddie takes the inside.

[dramatic music]

[Jessica thinking] Oh, boy. That's a long step down and I'm freezing.

Wait. That's Tracy.

[shouting]

I'm trapped.

[music continues]

[copter whirring]

[zaps]

is history.

[Phantom]

Well, guys,
I'll never take off again

without letting you know
where I am.

Yeah, It's important
to keep in touch

especially when you're
chasing ghosts.

[creaking]

But when I was standing
on the edge
of the Phantom's building,

this is the only hat
I wanted to see.

[grunting]

Today, we found out
that New York City

is an interesting place.

That's right. It's filledwith unusual buildings.

Big and small, new and old.

Yeah. Some are
too old for me.

There's nothing wrongwith old, Belfry.

Grandpa Kong is old.

And think how muchwe've learned from him.

-Hmm, that's true.
-New is nice.

But you should never forgethow much there is to learn

from people and placesand things that are old.
