sure this thing is safe?

Whenever you say that, I know
I'm in serious trouble.

Now, time to try
the memory controller.

-What is it now, bat-breath?

Uh, well, a-ah...

Exactly what does the memory
controller do?

Very simple, it removes
all good memories

and replaces them with mean..

[laughs]

...nasty..

[laughs]

...and evil memories.

[laughs]

with mean nasties?

but mean, nasty memory.

Go capture the ape Tracy.
Bring him here.

I know he's got good
memories.

And if we take them away,
and replace them

with mean and nasty memories

he'll forget those Ghost-bozos
and work for evil.

[laughs]

[instrumental music]

[scatting]

[tinkling]

Hmm, let's get him.

[grunts]

He's going for
the Dematerializer.

back to Hauntquarters.

[Apparitia] Right.

he wasn't going anywhere.

[Jake]

Now my memory controller
will do it's job.

It didn't do anything

Tracy is remembering a little
meeting we had with the Ghost..

...busters a long time ago.

[Prime Evil] When
they came to Hauntquarters

to rescue that brat
Corky and his friend.

[Prime Evil]
And this will be closer.

We've got to get them
off our tail.

that ghost-duster.

[Prime Evil] They thought
they'd lost me, but I knew
better.

There was one more
problem in their way.

It worked. But now we can't
find out hole we broke through.

No problem.

Come on, you guys, this smoke
isn't gonna last forever.

We gotta get outta here.

Here goes.

[Prime Evil] Tracy didn't
realize, that even his great
strength

couldn't break through
the walls of Hauntquarters.

[Brat-a-rat]
You guys, wait a minute.

It's, uh, that's not what
happened.

Tracy broke through the ceiling
of Hauntquarters

a-a-a-and the Ghostbusters
got out.

[hissing]

Enough, Brat-a-rat!

You missed the point.

The memory controller
has changed Tracy's memory.

Now, he remembers what
happened this way.

With me winning.

[laughs] I like it.

When I'm finished with him

Tracy will remember
everything my way.

And he'll do whatever I say.

[dramatic music]

Can you see what's happened
to Tracy, Madam Why?

Nothing at all.

Can't understand why.

[Madam Why]
Wait, it's coming clearer.

Prime Evil. No!

Well, what's goin' on?

I keep getting an image
of Prime Evil.

There it is again.

There is no sign of Tracy.

Wherever he is, Prime Evil's
got something to do with it.

Okay, let's check out
Hauntquarters.

[Jake]

Don't know what we'd do

[swoosh]

[screech]

There's a secret door
here someplace.

[Jake]

Whoa!

Well, Prime Evil's got
Tracy alright.

-What're they doing to him?
-I'm not sure.

It's time to change another
of Tracy's memories.

Remember this?

[Prime Evil]
This was the time..

...when the Ghostbusters were
foolish enough to try to fight

my underwater
Octo-puss apparition.

Oh, I can't look.

[Prime Evil laughing]

[Prime Evil] Ghost, yuck,
busters thought they
could stop us

with their puny Ghost-gummer.

Up!

Uh-oh! Duck!

Ah, too late.

[Prime Evil] But those
Ghost-bunglers weren't even
close.

That's not what happened.

Prime Evil's the one who gothit with the Ghost-gummerballs.

Shh, listen.

You did it again, boss.

A few more hours in
the memory-controller

and that monkey will think
you're the greatest thing

since scrambled eggs.
[laughs]

I amthe greatest thing
since scrambled eggs.

They're changing
Tracy's eggs.

I mean, memory.

In one half hour

the gorilla's mind
will belong to me.

[laughing]

[laughing]

[Prime Evil]
What an evil genius I am.

In a few more minutes,
my memory controller

will change Tracy's happy
memories

to wonderful evil ones.

Then he will become my slave.

[laughs]

He gives me the creeps.
We gotta do something.

Yeah, we got less than
30 minutes to do it in.

Excellent.

My memory controller
is on automatic.

It's time to prepare
a welcoming party

for our new slave.

[laughs]

Tracy, the ex-Ghostbuster.

[swoosh]

Here's our chance,
let's get down there.

[intense music]

Don't worry, ol' buddy,
we'll get your memory fixed up.

You can count on your pals.

There must be a way to
reverse this

and change Tracy's memories
back to normal.

Let's start with this one.

[Jake] Here comes Tracy's
memory on the screen.

[Eddie]
I remember that.

It's the time
when Tracy was captured

by the great ghost gorilla.

You won't get away
that easily, Earthling.

[laughs]

I'm twice as big as you.

[growling]

[Jake] Alright, hey,
Tracy's a good wrestler.

[whoosh]

[thud]

Now, I got you.

[Jake]
Yeah, and remember?

GB wasn't sure if he wanted
to help Tracy or not.

[GB] I can't take off
and leave Tracy.
I gotta help him.

Maybe the Fright-freezer will
be good for something
after all.

[revs]

Cool it,
Ghost Gorilla.

[zap]

Whoa, whoa, stop the machine!

That's where Prime Evil
has mixed up Tracy's memory.

You're right. So, we'll rewindthe memory and change it backto the truth.

[Jake]
Let's find the exact
spot where Prime Evil

changed Tracy's memory.

There, Tracy's memory should
go back to the truth

if I push this button.

Cool it, Ghost Gorilla.

[zap]

[Eddie]
Okay, that's more like it.

[Jake] It worked. But we've gota lot more to fix.

And only 25 minutes
to do it in.

[Brat-a-rat]
Forget it, Ghost-bunglers!

You're not going to fix
anything.

Come on, Scared Stiff,
let's get 'em.

Hmm-hmm, maybe we oughta
get a little help.

You, timid tin-head.

Show a little mettle,

on Tracy's memory.

I-I, uh, sure I can.

You ghost couldn't catch a cold
in a snow storm.

[laughs] Oh, yeah?

[upbeat music]

Only 20 minutes to go.

[dramatic music]

-Did I lose 'em?
-[Brat-a-rat] That way.

Guess not.

I'm sure I heard
him come this way.

[groaning] those blasted iron
feet of yours are so loud.

oughta tell Prime Evil?

[Brat-a-rat laughs]

and Scared Stiff.

memory track to fix.

Time's almost run out.

[Eddie]

Prime Evil what we're doing.

of this tunnel.

Time's almost run out.

But this switch should remove
Tracy's last bad memory.

Rise, Tracy.

Jake, are you sure you
fixed Tracy's memory?

I-I'm not sure.

Time was running out.

Rise and join me in the evil
world of ghosts.

He's going to Prime Evil.

Yeah, we gotta help him.

[laughs]

[grunting]

Let's give Prime Evil a taste
of his own medicine.

Some good memories.

before Prime's
rotten friends show up.

[instrumental music]

Avast, cut my liver..

[screech]

Open the straps.

Boss, boss,
boss, are you okay?

Why, of course I am,
you sweet, little creature.

Have you planed the party
for the girls scouts,
Apparitia?

Don't forget. We'll need
lots of milk and cookies.

Oh and Long John don't forget
to get everything ready

for the model boat contest.

[Prime Evil]
Oh, what fun.

[laughing]

In today's story,
Jake had to work hard

to bring Tracy's memory back.

But he kept on trying

even when it seemed
as though he'd never do it.

And he did it.

You probably had
the same feeling sometime.

When you thought, you'd never
finish your homework.

you've got too much to do

and you feel like giving up
