You see?

The Wrecker's coming?

If he gets to the Tower it'll
be the end of the world.

Don't let him through your checkpoint U.V.

You came all the way from
the Tower to tell me this?

Where's your so-called Wrecker come from?

- Ouija doesn't lie.

Ouija,

where does the Wrecker come from?

(ominous music begins)

Eight,

nine,

seven.

Eight, nine, seven.

(bell rings)

- What a bunch of junk.

Get it off my wall.

(bell rings)

- Ouija, what's the Wrecker's name?

- Jay.

- You're here by qualified
to attempt Tower check point

number two.

Follow me.

(door closes)

Okay, now listen up.

For this next checkpoint,

you gotta go to a place called Nowhere.

It's a test to see how bad
you wanna go to the Tower.

- How do I get to Nowhere?

- Simple.

You take the train and
if you make it back,

you move on through there.

- Hey, Bentley.

You used to live for walks.

- Thanks, Donna.

- Mrs. Ziegler.

- Ah, huh?

- How come Bentley's
food dish is still full?

- I can't get him to eat.

I guess he misses Jay.

- He's just lonely.

- I think I'm gonna have to find a family

who will take better care of him.

I can't be with him enough.

- What?

- I know,

but what can I do?

- Now one hour from now,

that gate's gonna open and
close again right away.

So you have to hustle
to make it back on time.

You don't wanna miss it.

- So when I get to Nowhere,

what do I have to do?

- When you're going to your nowhere,

someone's gonna ask you to stay.

You have to say the crucial words.

"I'd rather go to the Tower."

- "I'd rather go to the Tower."

- It sounds easy,

but lots don't make it back.

All aboard.

- We're going with Jay.

- Hey, we're with Jay!

- No, way!
- Jay.

- The ride's law is he goes alone.

- The wrecker!

- Let's mambo.

- Hey, where's she going?

- Medea!

Get away from that train!

- Quick! Hit the breaks!

- It's on cycle.

I can't stop it.

She'll keep him from coming back!

- How?

- By interfering.

He's got to go alone.

- What are you doing?

Get off!

- My name's Medea and I'm from the Tower

and I can help you.

- Let's move it.

- I'm supposed to be alone!

- You're so paranoid.

You gotta be cool.

Just do what I say, okay?

(mystical music begins)

(train breaks screeching)

(bell rings)

Ladies first.

(dreamlike music begins)

Holy smokes.

We're in heaven.

- It's a house.

- Oh, what a charming couple.

You're so right for this dream house

and the price will never be so low.

Right this way.

- I love it already.

- Yeah!

- What are you doing with Jay's dog?

- Taking him around for a last visit.

Jay's mom just can't
take care of him anymore.

She's finding him a new home.

- What for?

- He won't eat.

He's pining for Jay.

Feel his ribs.

(sad music begins)

I wanna take him to see Jay.

Just mom won't take him in the car.

She's allergic.

Think your mom could take us?

- Mom's out.

There is one way we could get him there.

I don't know you.

You don't know me.

And you don't tell anybody I helped you.

- My hearing is fine.

- Oh, no.

- What?

- It's Ryan.

(tires screech)

- Where you going with Jay's dog?

- We're gonna go visit him.

- You going too, Keith?

- Shut up.

- You wanna come to my
house and play video games?

Or do you got something better to do?

- Keith, are you coming?

- As you saw, the three
bedrooms are spacious

with everything you could possibly want.

TV and VCR, stereo sound
system built into each room.

Did you notice the gold
fittings on the jacuzzi?

- Yeah.

- Come on, I'll show you the kitchen.

Right this way.

The best kitchen has all the
appliances you can imagine.

Dishwasher, range hood stove.

Microwave

Has a built-in turntable.

Just perfect for browning.

- We'll take it,

but all the appliances have
to match in blanched almond.

- Wait a minute.

What about my challenge?

- You know, we're gonna
need a separate freezer.

- No problem.

- Is 27 cubic feet enough?

Are you gonna go hunting?

- Hunting?

- Oh, I know just the perfect one.

- Hold on!

This is supposed to be my Nowhere.

How come you're doing everything?

- Well, here's something you can do.

Pay.

- Oh, I'm so happy for you.

Why don't you stay here forever?

- You're supposed to ask me that.

You came through the door first.

This is your Nowhere.

I've only got 23 minutes left.

- This is our Nowhere!

Jay we can be happy here.

Forever.

Oh, all right.

I'd rather go to the Tower.

(cheerful music continues)

Jay!

- Why are you doing this?

- You're the Wrecker
here to wreck the tower.

- Let go of me.

- So how are you gonna wreck it, huh?

Earthquakes? Tornado?

Locusts?

- I'm not gonna wreck anything.

(birds squawking)

- I don't like it here.

- We've got 20 minutes.

(ominous music continues)

- Oh, no!

We'll never find them.

- Why not?

- 'Cause you go into your own world.

It's made from your own mind,

from the stuff you've seen.

It's very personal.

It's private.

(bus doors open)

- Bentley!

(Bentley barks)

(Bentley continues to bark)

- Where'd you come from?

- What a nice dog.

- Bentley.

Owner, Jay.

- Jay's got a dog?

- That's the kid's dog?

Then this could be the kid's world.

Let's try it.

The dog goes through first.

- What a weird place.

- Let's follow the dog.

- This is my house.

- What a creepy place.

Don't go in!

Stay out here with me.

- I've gotta do this.

(ominous music continues)

(mystical music begins)

(scratching)

- Good.

Let's take him in.

Hey, where you going?

- Look, I did what you wanted.

His mom will take you home.

- Now just stretch it a little further.

That's it.

It's just like when he
first learned to crawl.

- Okay, I understand.

Okay.
- That's good.

(Bentley barks)

- Bentley!

- How did you get in here?

- No, Bentley.
- No, no, no, no, no.

It's all right. Leave him.

(Bentley barks)

- Bentley!

Where have you been?

- Jay.

- Oh, baby?

Oh, baby.

Are you back, Jay?

- Is he awake now?

- No,

but it's a start.

- Come on.

(eerie music plays)

(plates clanking)

- Mom.

- Jay, thank heavens you're back.

I've been worried sick.

Jay, you didn't have to
go back for the telescope.

The only thing that matters
is that we're together again.

- Is dad buried up there?

- No, just a memorial stone.

You know he was never fun.

- That's because he's not dead.

Everybody knows Brad's alive.

He's famous and I'm gonna find him.

- No, Jay, I want you to stay.

- I'd rather go to the Tower.

Dad's out there.

I have to meet him,

but I have to go now.

Bye.

Come on, Bentley.

- What are you doing
in this guy's Nowhere?

Eight, nine, seven.

The Ouija was right.

- We can steel lock him in this world.

Then he can't wreck ours.

Come on!

- Come on they're gonna lock us in here.

- [Keith] Let's go!

- Follow me!

- Come on the door's that way!

- No!

I know this neighborhood.

Where's Bentley?

- Come on, Bentley.

Come on, come on.

Let's go.

Come on, Bentley.

Come on, Bentley. Come on.

- The train's leaving!

- Ready?

One, two, three.

Go.

- We've still gotta stop him.

- Oh, boy.

He opened his eyes today, Donna.

Who knows what he might do tomorrow?

- Maybe Bentley can stay at Driftwood.

He helped Jay open his eyes.

- Oh, well.

I don't know if that'd be possible, Donna.

- He could stay with me.

- Mrs Ziegler.

This is Keith.

He,

he lives near us.

- I want him to.

Just until Jay gets better.

- Hm.

Well, maybe.

I'll give you guys a ride home.

Come on.

(gate opening)

(train slowing down)

(bell rings)

(mystical music begins)

- I saw my mom.

- Who?

- And I know where to find my dad.

- Huh?

- In the tower.

(gate closing)

Let's go!

(ominous music begins)
