[Honk honk]

Hey. Hey, Fred.
Slow down, Fred.

The bridge is going up.

Barney, will you
stop worrying?

We'll make it.

Oh, my aching sacroiliac.

They're the modern
stone age family

From the town of Bedrock

They're a page

Let's ride with the family

Through the courtesy
of Fred's two feet

When you're
with the Flintstones

Have a yabba-Dabba-Doo

A dabba-Doo time

We'll have a gay
old time

Gee, take it easy, pal.
What's the hurry?

I want to get home early

So I can play with Pebbles
before bedtime.

Oh, yeah. I can hardly wait

To get the old Bamm-Bamm
from Bamm-Bamm. Ha ha ha!

Ha ha ha!

Hey, look, Fred,
on that sign.

What about it?

"The Bedrock
Rodeo Roundup

"Starring Bony Hurdle

The World's Rodeo Champion."

So, what's so great
about a rodeo star?

Gee, a rodeo star is
every kid's hero.

Ah-Ho. Not my kid.

I am Pebbles' hero.

Pebbles thinks I'm
the greatest guy in the world.

Oh, thanks for the lift.

Okay, pal.
See you later.

[Honk honk
honk honk]

Hiya, Hoppy.

Hiya, bamm-Bamm.

How's daddy's
little boy?

Bamm bamm.

Bamm bamm bamm.

Boy, oh, boy,
what a strong kid.

[Honk honk
honk honk honk]

Okay, Hoppy,
lead the way.

Oh, Pebbles,
daddy's home!

[Arr arr arr]

Oh, no, no!
Back, boy, back, back!

Heel! Down!
Down, boy, down!

Down, boy, down!

Ha ha ha!

Can I help it
if he's crazy about me?

Oh, stop!

Stop! Ha ha ha!

Dada. Dada, dada.

Well, how's my little
sweetheart today?

Dada, dada.

That's right.

Your great big
dada's home.

Now you sit right there

While I tell mommy
to start dinner.

Oh, Wilma, I'm home.

Hi, Fred.

Hey, Wilma, aren't you
forgetting something?

I don't think so.

I've checked everything

Right down to
the pterodactyl pie.

Pterodactyl pie,
my favorite dessert.

I'll wash up, Wilma.

I'll be ready to eat
in a minute.

Take your time, Fred.

Dinner won't be served
until our guests arrive.

Guests? What guests?

We're having guests?

Uh-Huh. Barney and Betty

And an old friend
of mine-- Bony Hurdle.

Bony Hurdle?
You mean that rodeo star?

You know him?

Ever since we were kids
on my uncle's ranch.

He called this morning
when he arrived in town.

I was so thrilled.

Thrilled? What's
to be thrilled about?

Hey, Wilma, can't we eat?

Not until
our guests arrive.

[Knock on door]

Oh, I'll get it, Fred.

Hi, Wilma.

Ooh, I'm so excited.

Is he here?

Yeah, where is he?
I can hardly wait to meet him.

Oh, he's not here yet.

Why don't you two wait
in the den with Fred?

Oh, boy, oh, boy.
Just think

We have friends that
actually know Bony Hurdle

The famous rodeo star.

You mean, you have a friend
who knows Bony Hurdle

Namely Wilma.

That guy's a stranger to me.

Here, gang.
Have an hors d'oeuvre.

Huh? Oh, boy,
my favorite!

pterodactyl eggs.

How come we don't
have these things

All the time, Wilma?

Because you don't
have Bony Hurdle

To dinner all the time.

Ha ha ha!

Aah, Bony Hurdle.

[Wilma] it's Bony!
I'll get it.

Bony Hurdle!

Yippee! Yahoo! And
a yip-Yip-Yip-Yip-Yippee!

Well, I'll be stepped on
by a brontosaurus

And run over
by a trachodon.

If it isn't my pretty
little tumbleweed, Wilma!

Oh, ha ha!
He always called me that.

Yes, sir.

Every time I'd see her
back at the ranch

I'd holler,
"yippee! Yahoo!

Hi there, pretty
little tumbleweed!"

Ha ha! Oh,
meet the gang, Bony.

This is my friend
Betty Rubble...

Hi, mr. Hurdle.

My pleasure, ma'am.

Her husband Barney...

uh, pleased
to meet youse.

[Wilma] and my husband
Fred Flintstone.

So you're tumbleweed's
old stablemate, huh?

Well, put 'er there,
you old buckaroo!

Watch this, Barney.

I'm gonna give him
my rock crusher handshake.

Hiya, Bony!

Any friend of
Wilma's is a--

Friend of mine!

Meetin' you is
a genuine pleasure, pardner.

Likewise, I'm sure.

Ga ga. Dada ah ga goo.

Now, who is
that pretty little filly?

I just know it's my

Pretty little tumbleweed's
pretty little tumbleweed.

Ha ha ha!
Ha ha ha!

Ha ha ha ha ha!

It looks like
you made a big hit

With Pebbles, mr. Bony.

Da! Da dada.

Hey, wait a minute!

Me dada.

You Pebbles.

Me Fred.

Fred Flintstone is Pebbles
Flintstones' dada. See?

Dada. Dada.

Doggone, if you ain't
the cutest little critter

I've ever seen.

Dinner's ready.

Yippee! Yahoo! And
a yip-Yip-Yippee!

Come on, honey.

Let's stampede
right into the dining room.

Whee! Whee! Whee!
Whee! Whee! Whee!

Ha ha ha ha ha!

Ha ha! Oh, that bony's
a great guy, huh, Fred?

I'll tell you
one thing, Barney.

After dinner,
that great guy

Better stampede
right out the front door.

"Little tumbleweed."

Ho ho ho ho.

Ha ha ha ha ha!

Well, now, after
a fine feed like that

I always feel
like singin' a song

Just like I do
around the ol' campfire

Out on the range. Ahem.

Git along
little horned toad

Down that
long windin' road

No more will you roam

You're headin' for home

A-Clippity clop
hippity hop

Clippity clop
hippity hop

Keep a-Rollin'
little fella

The moon is
gettin' mella

You'll get there
by and by

Back home in that
big buttermilk sky♪

That was
just beautiful!

Encore! Encore!

Nice going,

look at Pebbles.

Isn't that cute?

[Wilma] she just
adores you, Bony.

Looks like you're
her big hero, Bony.

Barney, cut that out.

Well, uh, just being
sociable, Fred.

Ha ha ha ha!

Now, for real thrills

Take that big stegosaurus
roundup last year.

Well, sir, let me tell you

This was
the most terrible...

and that last thing we saw

Was that old mastodon
goin' over the hill.

Ha ha ha!

Oh, my.

Hey, that's rich.
Ha ha ha!

Ho ho ho.

Then another time

I was ridin'
a buckin' brontosaurus...

then there was the time

I roped three wild

Well, I'll tell you

These ornery critters
came a-Chargin' at me.

what daring!

what excitement!

what happened?

What an evening.

I only had one chance.

I got the ol' lasso
a-Twirlin' like this

And let 'em have it.

Then one big jerk...

Oops. Heh heh.

Sorry, Fred.

I got carried away.

Yeah, but not far enough.

Well, folks, I'm gonna
have to say good night now.

Thanks a heap
for the fine vittles.

Ga ga!

Aw, shucks.

Here, let me put little
ol' tumbleweed to bed.

Ga! Dada!

Ha ha ha!
Ha ha ha!

Isn't that
amazing, Fred?

She stopped crying.

Bony, sing one of
your cute bedtime songs.

Okay. How's this?

I had an old dinosaur
his name was jack

I put him
in the barn

Ha ha ha!

And he jumped
through a crack

I picked up a rock
and ka-Nocked him back

How about that?

She's sound asleep.

Good night,
little tumbleweed.

Oh, my goodness.

He's so wonderful
with children.

See you tomorrow
at the rodeo. Good night!

I'll be lookin'
for you.

Good night, Wilma,

Good night, Fred.

Rrarr rrarr grrarrrr!

Fine thing--

Someone coming
into your own house

and singing your
own kid to sleep.

Aw, there's
daddy's little girl.

Nighty-Night, baby.

Sweet dreams.

Means I love you

Fred, see what's
upsetting Pebbles.

Okay, okay,
I'll stop singing.

Shush. Go to sleep.

Fred, you just acted awful
all evening.

I know it.

And Bony was so nice.

Don't start with me
on how nice Bony is.

Comes stompin'
in here

He stole Pebbles'
heart away.

She doesn't love me

Now, Fred, don't be silly.

[Door slams]

Oh, that man.

That Bony Hurdle, he's
nothing but a thin-Waisted

dinosaur puncher.

I'll show him.

I'll walk right up,
and wham--

Ow! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!

Aah! Eeyah!

Ooh! Ooh!

Is that you, Fred?

Yes, it's me!

Well, what are you
doing out there?

Well, you're
the noisiest thinker

I ever heard think.

Ha ha ha!

Ha ha ha ha.

Hey, how come you're so
aggra-Gated, Fred?

Well, it's like this.

That big phony
Bony Hurdle

Has become an idol
to Pebbles.

Now he's her hero.

Yeah. I, uh,
I noticed that.

Well, what am I
gonna do, Barney?

He ruined my image.

I've got it.
I've got it.

What? What?

Kids like heroes.

All you gotta do
is outhero him.

Me? Outhero him?

Like, uh,
for instance

Enter the rodeo...

And win the ropin'
and ridin' contest.

It's easy.

Boy, what a friend you are.

Wait a minute.

That's it!

What's it, Fred?

I will enter the rodeo.

Oh, but, Fred,
I was only kidding.

I'm no greenhorn, you know.

I watch those
late, late westerns on tv.

Oh, boy.

And now,
ladies and gentlemen

To start our show

An exhibition of skill

By the world's champion
trick rider

Bony Hurdle!

Ooh! Isn't it

Ooh! My, yes!

Hooray for Bony!

Bony is riding his own
specially trained dinosaur

Ol' tumbleweed.

Named after a very special
friend of his.

isn't that cute?

He named his
dinosaur after you.

Oh, ho! Ha ha ha!

And now Bony does
the triple somersault!

Isn't that

Ooh, it certainly is.

It's exciting.

And now another
dynamic daredevil endeavor

By our champion--

The prairie spin.

The up-And-Downer.

[Crowd cheering]

Now his whippersnapper--

The fabulous big flip.

[Crowd cheering]

Oh, dear. I dropped
my handkerchief.

[Crowd cheers]

Oh, my!

Thank you, Bony.

Ha ha!

My pleasure, ma'am.

And now, little tumbleweed

I declare you to be the queen
of this here Bedrock rodeo.

Ahh! Goo goo ga ga da.

Isn't that cute, Fred?

Barney, where is Fred?

Uh, he was going to
buy some popcorn.

And now,
ladies and gentlemen

A ropin' exhibition by
Bony Hurdle!

Go get him, Bony!

[Crowd cheers]

Ahh! Ha ha ha!
Ha ha ha!

Ladies and gentlemen

As usual

That's a new record time

For the world's champion
brontosaurus roper.

And now for the triceratops
doggin' exhibition.

Oh! Oh, dear!

Ooh, my!

[Cheering and applause]

Another new record

Set by Bony Hurdle!

Bony is my hero.

And now Bony Hurdle
will lead off

In the bareback
stegosaurus ridin' contest.

[Crowd cheering]

Bamm! Bamm! Bamm bamm bamm!

Ladies and gentlemen

We now direct
your attention

To chute number 3

Where a mysterious
anonymous rider

From a mysterious
anonymous ranch

Will ride a mysterious
anonymous stegosaurus bareback.

[Neighs] [Snorts]

Say, he's not bad.

He sure looks familiar.

Hey, stay with him,

[Crowd cheering]

Good heavens, that's Fred!

You're right. It is.

Dada! Dada!

Da da da!

Stay with him, Fred!

Barney, do something!
He'll be killed!

Don't worry, Wilma.
He's tall in the saddle.

Tall in the saddle

But short on brains.

[Crowd cheering]

Stop this thing!

Ouch! Ouch!

Poor Fred!

[Crowd cheering]

Oh, no!

Oh, no!

Hang on, mysterious!

Attaboy, Fred!

Dada! Da dada!

Stop, Fred! Stop!

Fred! Fred Flintstone.

You ol' dinosaur
puncher, you!

Let me be the first
to shake your hand.

Huh? What?

That was the greatest
acrobatic ridin'

I ever set my beady
little eyes on.

I'm a failure.

Just a great, big failure.

Fred, you're
a terrific smash.

You mean, I made
a terrific fool of myself.

You tell him, Barney.

I gotta get ready
for the next contest.

Let me introduce

I'm Rockjaw Brady

The manager
of this rodeo.

I'm sorry,
mr. Brady.

Before you say no,
listen to my offer.

Sir, you are the funniest
acrobatic rodeo clown

I ever seen.

Yes, sir.

You've got a big career
ahead of you.

You'll make
millions of dollars

And have millions
of fans.

You think so?

Listen to that crowd.

They're still laughing
and applauding.

- Me?
- Yeah, Fred.

They love ya.

Just sign
this here contract.

You'll be rich.

Well, uh, I'll have to
think it over.

At least come out
and take a bow.

They're tearing
the place apart.

Well, alright.

Dada! Dada! Dada!

That's my girl
saying "dada!"

Thank you, thank you

And I repeat, thank you.

Ahh! Dada!
Dada! Dada!

Doggone, that's
a big decision, Fred.

You turnin' down
a pile of money

Big as a haystack.

Yeah, I know, but--

You'll be known
and loved

by folks from one end
of this land to another.

Well, I'm known and loved
by Wilma and Pebbles

And the folks right
here in Bedrock.

And that's enough
for me.

Well, you're
lucky, Fred.

'Cause you've
got everything.

You can say that

Well, I gotta be ridin'
into the sunset.

Which way
might that be?

Oh, yeah.

So long, folks.

- Goodbye, Bony.
- Drop in anytime.

I might just do that.

Git along
little horned toad

Down that
long windin' road

No more will you roam

You're headin' for home

Clippity clop
hippity hop

Clippity clop

Keep a-Rollin'

The moon is
gettin' meller

You'll get there

Dada. Dada.

Come on, Pebbles.

Daddy will clippity clop

And hippity hop

And yabba-Dabba-Doo you
