The Bachelor (2002–…): Season 25, Episode 4 - Episode #25.4 - full transcript
Still reeling from Sarah's sudden departure, Matt fights his tendency to put up walls as his journey continues with the 18 remaining women vying for his heart; emotions continue to run high, leading to a clash between Victoria and Katie.
‐ People have gone out of their
way to find me and tell me,
"Oh, my God.
Watch out for this girl."
‐ In what regard?
Like, watch out with her, how?
‐ That she may be an escort.
‐
‐ I'd heard rumors that...
she's entertaining men
for money.
‐ A shocking new episode
of "The Bachelor"
starts right now.
‐ Today was tough.
Sarah left,
and it's‐‐it hurts, you know?
It's never easy when you put
who you are out there‐‐
everything you've been through,
where you're going,
everything
that's wrong with you‐‐
and someone realizes
that you're not their person.
It's‐‐it's hard,
'cause I really felt something
with Sarah
in the time
that we spent together.
And we talked
about a lot of stuff
that I hadn't shared
with anybody,
and what if there
are gonna be more women
that don't want to be a part
of my journey?
Um, it's‐‐that's
a really scary feeling.
‐ Like, Sarah left,
so, like, bye.
Like, relationships are hard,
and if you're telling me
the first time things get hard,
you pack your bags... ‐ Yeah.
‐ I'm already like... ‐ Bye.
‐ "Peace." ‐ Yeah.
‐ Just the trash
took itself out.
‐ Can you stop, seriously?
She's gone; there's no point
to keep talking about her
or saying negative things.
‐ No, I won't stop, Katie.
I'll do whatever the I want.
‐ Okay, well, you can keep
being toxic and rude about it.
‐ I'm not toxic.
‐ She's just not here.
What's the point?
‐ Oh, my God.
Shut up, Katie, literally.
‐ Victoria seems to thrive
on being mean to other girls.
To me, it's kind of a reflection
on maybe her insecurities,
you know?
I don't care
who's here and who's not.
I'm focused on me
and my connection with Matt.
‐ I wonder what this is gonna
mean for your group date.
‐ I just hope it doesn't
fog him up
for the rest of the day...
‐ Today. ‐ Yeah.
‐ And for the rest of the date
or the night.
‐ Yeah. ‐ Yeah.
‐ Hi. ‐ How's it going?
‐ Good. ‐ We made it.
‐ Whoo!
‐ Let me get the door
for you all, ladies.
‐ Oh, thank you.
‐ Thank you.
‐ Aw, pretty. ‐ Right?
‐ Hearing that Sarah
was leaving this morning,
I was definitely anxious
that Matt could end up,
you know, canceling the date,
but he didn't.
I've always been a big believer
that everything happens
for a reason,
and everything happens
in the right timing,
and tonight's a chance
to show Matt
that I'm here for him.
‐ The day, for me,
started out a little rough.
We had someone who‐‐who left us,
but that allows me time
to focus on relationships
that are heading
in the right direction.
Um...
let's enjoy this night,
and to learning
about each other.
‐ Yes. ‐ Cheers.
‐ Cheers to that. ‐ Cheers.
‐ Matt, can I grab you?
Can we go outside?
‐ Absolutely.
‐ I saw today what happens
when someone can't handle this.
Like, I'm not here
to just, like,
turn around and run
'cause things got hard.
Like, things that are worth
fighting for, like, take time,
and it's not going to be easy,
but, like,
I don't need easy.
I just need time with Matt.
How are you dealing
with all this?
Like, you don't have to, like,
dive too deep.
I'm like‐‐
‐ Just trying to be real?
Like, just being real
as possible, like,
this is stressful, you know?
It's a lot going on... ‐ Mm‐hmm.
‐ And I appreciate
that you realize that
and you're thinking about me.
‐ I'm here for you,
and I do check in on you,
'cause I'm like‐‐
I'm considering your feelings.
Like, I worry about you,
and, like,
this is hard. ‐ Mm.
This morning started out
extremely difficult.
It kind of has me questioning,
am I doing the right thing
in letting my guard down
and being this open
with these women?
Can they handle it?
‐ How are you? ‐ I'm good. Um...
‐ Yeah? You okay?
‐ I don't‐‐yeah.
‐ Good. ‐ I, like, try to...
compartmentalize everything,
you know?
‐ Mm‐hmm.
‐ It's like, that happened,
and we've addressed it...
‐ Yeah.
‐ And I'm focused on you
and everyone who's here.
‐ I appreciate that.
‐ But thank you for‐‐for asking.
‐ Yeah, I mean, I wanna
make sure you're okay too.
I mean, I'm sure
it's a lot for you.
Um... ‐ Yeah.
It's pretty encouraging
to hear these women
tell me that
they're here for me,
which is what we all want,
right?
We all want positive affirmation
and someone wanting
to be with you and around you.
Up until this point,
is this what you thought
it was gonna be
before you got here?
‐ I honestly did not think
I was gonna make it
past the first night.
Just the fact that, like,
you saw me,
and, like, we hit it off
right away, like,
I'm, like, still riding,
like, on that high,
to be honest.
‐ Even though the day
may have started off
kind of difficult
and extremely challenging...
‐ Surprise! ‐ Oh, man.
‐ And it matches me
and everything.
‐ These women overwhelmingly
reassured me
about why I'm here
and made it easy.
The more I get to know
these women,
the more I'm intrigued
by their story
and the possibility
of ending up with one of 'em.
‐ So this is me and my mom.
Me with hair.
‐ That's your mom? ‐ Yeah.
But, um, I don't know.
I was showing everybody
these pictures before,
and they're like, "Oh, my God,
"I can't believe
you look like that with hair.
You look like
a different person."
‐ I think you look great
both ways.
‐ I mean, thanks.
‐ Yeah, no, I like your hair.
‐ Thank you. I don't know.
I think people don't realize
how emotional hair can be...
‐ Yeah.
‐ Especially, like,
for Black women...
‐ Yeah. ‐ Just because, like,
I literally had been,
like, chemically
straightening my hair
since I was two years old.
Like, all my friends are white,
my school was white...
‐ Yep, yep.
‐ And I didn't even feel
comfortable, like,
leaving my house
without my hair being straight.
Like, there were times
I just had so‐‐
like, so much anxiety
and stress about, like,
what people were gonna think.
It's definitely
a unique experience
that Black women have
with their hair...
‐ Yeah.
‐ But‐‐ ‐ I can't imagine.
‐ Yeah, it's‐‐it's a lot.
So when I finally decided
to shave it, it was, like,
such an emotionally, like,
freeing experience.
‐ Uh, thank you
for sharing this with me.
‐ Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Of course. No, like‐‐
‐ Um, you do look amazing.
‐ Thank you.
‐ The first time I saw you,
you got out of the limo.
I was just like, "Damn."
You had the bam‐bam dress
on for me.
‐ I had to, like, give you
a "wow" moment.
I'm like... ‐
Well, every time
you come in the room
is a "wow" moment. ‐ Thanks.
‐ Katie. ‐ Yeah.
‐ Could you come talk to me,
please?
Um, so I just really didn't like
when you shut me down
during group conversation,
and I feel like you've done
that on multiple occasions.
‐ Are you talking about today
when you were calling Sarah
names?
‐ When I said,
"The trash took itself out."
I just would love
an apology, because...
‐ You're not gonna get
an apology.
‐ You told me to stop
when I wasn't done
expressing myself.
‐ Expressing yourself
and name‐calling
are two different things.
‐ Um, well,
I can do whatever I want...
‐ Yeah.
‐ And I can express myself
with name‐calling
when I choose to.
‐ If that's how
you wanna express yourself,
and you wanna
be toxic and rude...
‐ And if‐‐yeah. ‐ Go for it.
‐ And if you wanna express
yourself with your dildo
and think you're ready
for an engagement...
you can do that.
Sure‐‐ ‐ I love my vibrator,
so I don't know
what you're trying to do,
like, coming at me about, like,
"your vibrator."
Like, I'm very confident
in what I want to do
with my life,
and it's showing
how insecure you are.
‐ I'm not insecure
nor attacking you, Katie.
‐ So what are you trying
to accomplish
with this conversation?
Like, what's the point?
‐ I mean, I think it's rude,
the way you speak to me.
‐ If you're being a bitch,
I'm gonna tell you
you're being a bitch...
‐ Um, I'm not being a bitch.
‐ Always.
Okay.
‐ I think you are a bitch, and‐‐
‐ I speak my mind.
If you're gonna be rude
to someone,
especially someone
who's not here,
I'm gonna call you out
and tell you it's unnecessary.
‐ I mean, if you try
to shut me down again...
I probably wouldn't.
‐ I don't know
what you tell you about that.
I'm not gonna apologize to you.
‐ There was a lot about tonight
that I enjoyed.
Um, MJ, how you were open
about everything
and how honest you were with me.
I like that a lot.
Abigail, what you shared with‐‐
about what you were looking for,
it really resonated with me,
but there is only one rose.
Chelsea...
will you accept this rose?
‐ Yes. Thank you.
‐ Absolutely. ‐
It feels special
that Matt chose me
out of everybody.
It was a big moment for me,
and I just‐‐
I mean, I couldn't do this
in front of the other girls,
but, like, aah!
I got the rose! Eek!
‐ I'm gonna get out of here.
I will see you all tomorrow,
but thank you all
for another amazing evening,
and have a great
rest of the night.
‐ No, I'm super happy
for Chelsea,
but it is disappointing.
You know, you want that rose,
'cause it just means you're
safe until the next week.
‐ Bye.
‐ I think it will be intense
tomorrow at the Rose Ceremony.
Who knows how many people
are gonna be sent home?
And I just feel like
there's, like,
a storm, like, waiting to brew.
‐ Matt, I need to talk to you
right now.
‐ ‐ Oh, my God.
‐
‐ The word "escort"
is being thrown around.
‐ The room just exploded.
‐ I'd heard rumors...
she's entertaining men
for money.
‐ Slut. Whore.
‐ I'm so upset. I'm done.
‐ We're going into our third
Rose Ceremony.
There are three women
with roses,
out of the 18 of us,
now that Sarah's gone.
Serena P. has one
from her one‐on‐one,
Rachael, from our group date,
and, of course, Chelsea,
from last night.
‐ I really do feel like
the energy shifted.
Much better than last week.
‐ And I think we all saw
how much, like, us
just getting at each other
for dumb things
affected Matt last week,
and I think we're all ready
to, like, not repeat that.
So... ‐ I agree.
I'm feeling so good today.
I'm ready to talk to Matt.
I'm gonna pull him first,
especially since I didn't
get time last week.
I have heard that, like,
Anna wants to go first,
but, like, that's not happening.
Sorry, Anna.
I'm Elsa, and you're Anna.
So let it go, bitch.
I'm going first.
‐ Whoo! ‐ Hey!
‐ What's going on? ‐ Hi.
‐ How we doing? ‐ Good.
‐ Thank you.
You all look incredible...
‐ Thanks.
‐ And what an incredible week
we had.
I came into this
looking for a wife,
and at the end of this,
I'm hoping
to get down on one knee
and ask the love of my life
to marry me.
I just wanted you all
to leave tonight
feeling reassured
that I'm here for you all.
Here's to a great night.
Here's to continued
relationships and...
‐ Cheers! ‐ Finding love.
Cheers.
‐ This week
was like a reality check.
We had Sarah leaving.
That was tough, but, uh,
we bounced back and had
a great rest of the week.
You look pretty. ‐ Thank you.
‐ Going into tonight,
I'm very hopeful,
and I'm looking forward
to a lot of quality time
with these women tonight.
‐ I was really excited
to see you tonight.
I know that we just got
to spend some time together
yesterday, but I'm just excited
to see you.
‐ Yeah, no, I, uh...
the more time we spend together,
the more and more
I'm enjoying you
and who you actually are. ‐
Thank you. ‐ You know?
'Cause, like,
I feel like I was‐‐
I was trying to break
through the barrier.
Like, you're like
such a strong woman,
and it's like you‐‐you have,
like, your mom,
who's like the head
of y'all's household...
‐ Mm‐hmm. ‐ And you've got
these two sisters who have
strong personalities...
‐ Yeah. ‐ And, um, I feel like
I'm slowly getting into, like...
‐ Just chipping away‐‐yeah.
‐ Who Pieper is.
‐ I mean, yeah. Yeah.
I mean, I love to hear that,
like, you have a strong mother,
so you know
what strong women look like,
because I'm not someone
to back down.
Um, I'm never gonna, like,
compromise who I am
for anybody. ‐ I see that.
‐ I don't know if you can tell.
‐ I see that. ‐ Um...
so I'm really enjoying the time
that we're spending together.
So... ‐ Me too.
‐ I'm just really happy.
‐ I want to have the time
with Matt
to explore romance
and friendship,
and so I just want, like,
time to explore it.
‐ We're all taking risks
and really trying our best
to put ourselves out there
and put our best foot forward.
Four out of five of us
have not talked to him yet,
but the night is young.
‐ I know. ‐ Yeah, I'm excited.
I feel like we're on a steady,
positive train right now,
so I hope that continues, um,
and I hope
I get to see him soon.
I know the majority of us
sitting here
haven't had time,
so hopefully, you know,
we'll get that soon.
‐ Mm‐hmm. I agree.
‐ I feel the chemistry's there,
for sure...
‐ Yeah. ‐ And I think, for me,
it's like, the harder part
is going deeper.
‐ I'm here, and I'm ready,
and I'm gonna be patient
with you,
'cause, like, I don't know
if it's evident or not,
but I love being around you.
And I want you to think about...
like what we would look like.
Like, what, like,
a relationship‐‐
‐ We would look good.
‐ I like being around Kit
so much.
She is continuing to impress me,
and it's exciting to be around
such a smart, beautiful
group of women.
The thing I respect most
about you
is you're yourself,
and you don't care
what other people think,
and I saw that night one... ‐
‐ And you stuck to that.
You took the most
unconventional approach
of all the women,
and I love that.
‐ Oh, my gosh. ‐ It was great.
‐ ‐ It was great.
Like you said, like you're not
trying to be in the back.
You're‐‐you want to be seen...
‐ Yeah.
‐ And I'm seeing you,
and I like what I see.
‐ Oh, I'm glad.
‐ I really look forward
to every conversation I have,
because that could potentially
be my wife.
I can't help how I feel...
‐ Yeah.
‐ And what I felt with you
is real.
‐ I want to give you
that reassurance.
Are we going on another
one‐on‐one?
‐ The more time I'm spending
with these ladies,
the stronger my connections
are growing,
and... it's working.
‐ And, like, I feel
overwhelmed with emotions
because it's, like, hard
that I haven't, like,
had time with you.
‐ What's the hardest part
about it?
‐ I'm used to, like,
knowing if a guy is interested
in me, so it's, like, scary.
‐ Yeah.
Well, how can I help you
with that?
‐ Mm...
‐ And you don't have to give me
an answer now,
but, kind of like what
I told you inside was, like,
I wanna be that person
that gives...
‐ Hey, guys.
‐ Everyone a chance.
‐ Hello. ‐ Victoria,
I am sorry to interrupt, but...
‐ No worries.
‐ Matt, I need to talk to you
right now.
‐ Okay. ‐ Okay.
‐ Thanks.
‐ I'll talk to you
in a little bit.
‐ Hey, bud. ‐ Hey.
‐ How you doing? ‐ Good.
‐ Good to see you. ‐ You too.
‐
It's so hard to open up to Matt
and talk about things
when there's constant change
and new things happening.
I'm like, "I can't even
communicate my one thought."
Thank you, Chris Harrison.
I was in the middle
of a sentence.
Ugh!
I don't wanna feel this annoyed,
but I am.
‐ Oh, wait a minute.
‐ That looks serious. ‐ Oh.
‐ Oh. ‐ Oh, no.
‐ What? What? Tell me.
‐ Chris Harrison and Matt
just walked in. ‐ Oh.
‐ What the heck? Will you look?
We see Matt and Chris Harrison
making a beeline
for the front door.
You feel the energy shift.
You feel that things
are different.
‐ Why is Chris Harrison here?
‐ Wait, wait, wait.
Can we go look?
‐ What is it, Serena?
‐ They're walking off.
They're walking.
‐ Is Sarah out there? ‐ Is she?
‐ Oh, wait, wait. Is Sarah here?
‐ Are you joking? ‐ I knew it.
‐ Stop.
‐ I think there's a lot
of speculation in the house
that Sarah might be back.
‐ So...
the ultimate goal here
is for you to meet the woman
of your dreams,
and maybe you have already,
but maybe not.
‐ Is Sarah here?
‐ You don't think so?
‐ Who else would it be?
Why else would he be going
outside?
‐ I know.
If she comes walking in
right now...
‐ Oh, it's happening. ‐ Yeah.
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ Because you were the Bachelor,
we had a record response
from women who wanted
to be on this show.
‐ Right.
‐ And to that end,
there are some more
incredible women...
that are dying to meet you
and want a shot
at falling in love with you...
And they're arriving right now.
‐
‐ So, Matt,
let the journey continue.
‐
‐ If it is Sarah... ‐ It's her.
‐ No. ‐ No, it's not.
‐ No, he's pulling up.
There's a car.
‐ But I'm like,
there has to be something‐‐
‐ No, it's her.
There's no other way.
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ Open the door!
‐ If it is Sarah...
‐ No, it's her.
There's no other way.
‐ Who is it? ‐ Is it her?
No.
‐ It's someone with dark hair.
‐ Hey! ‐ Hi.
‐ What's up, Matt?
‐ How you doing?
‐ It is so great
to finally meet you.
‐ Nice to meet you as well.
‐ My name is Brittany,
I am from Chicago,
but enough of all that.
I want to make up for lost time.
‐ Who is that?
‐ Is she kissing him?
‐ Ew. Ew, ew, ew.
‐ This isn't fair.
‐ ‐ I'll see you inside.
‐ Nice to meet you.
‐ I feel disrespected.
‐ I wanna vomit.
‐ Ew, why is she walking
like she owns this?
‐ You guys! ‐ What happened?
‐ There's a new girl
that just showed up.
‐ You're kidding.
‐ I'm not kidding.
I'm not kidding.
‐ What do you mean,
"a new girl"?
I'm, like, actually
about to cry.
That's not fair.
‐ Oh, Lord, have mercy.
This is like too much to handle.
‐ Victoria comes out
and tells us
that there's girls
pulling up in cars.
One of them made out with him
right out of the car.
Like, yeah.
Sucks.
‐ I'm definitely thrown off.
I'm pissed off right now.
Um, I don't like
what's happening.
‐ I'm shocked.
‐ She's not welcome.
She's not welcome!
- ‐ Hey!
- Hi...
‐ Surprise!
‐ Yeah, surprise.
‐ I'm Brittany.
Nice to meet you.
I am a little late,
but I'm here with a couple
other people, so...
‐ A what? ‐ A few more?
‐ Yeah, there's a couple more
coming in the car.
I don't know how many.
‐ So you quarantined
and then just stayed
in your room as a backup,
and now you're coming in
as like a backup
'cause some girls left?
‐ Um, no.
They just wanted
to save the best for last.
‐ Mm, no, I don't think so.
‐ Okay. ‐ Okay, come over here.
‐ That's cool. ‐ Grab a seat.
‐ You will feel uncomfortable
pretty soon.
‐ What was your entrance?
‐ I told him I wanted to make up
for last‐‐like, lost time,
and then I made out with him.
So...
‐ That's farther
than I've been with him, so...
‐ Brittany interrupted me
to make out with Matt.
"Slore."
Slut. Whore.
‐ We've been forming
these connections with Matt,
and we've been, like,
on this journey already,
so it's very shocking,
um, to the system,
and, yeah, I don't think
a lot of us are okay with it.
‐
Hi.
‐ Hi. ‐ How are you doing?
‐ I'm doing well.
‐ Oh, my goodness.
It's so nice to see you.
‐ Good to see you too.
What‐‐what's your name?
‐ Michelle.
‐ Michelle? Matt. ‐ Yes.
Nice to meet you.
‐ I'm happy you're here.
‐ So nice to see you.
‐ And where are you coming from?
‐ I'm from Minnesota.
‐ You're from Minnesota? ‐ Yes.
‐ I haven't heard
the accent yet.
‐ No! Well, you'll hear it.
‐ I'll hear it?
‐ You'll hear it, I promise.
‐ Okay.
Well, you look incredible.
‐ So‐‐thank you.
I appreciate it.
It's so nice to see you.
‐ It's nice to see you as well.
‐ This is so frustrating.
This is so disrespectful...
‐ This is so annoying.
‐ For the girls
who have been here.
I'm really having a mental
breakdown right now.
You would be pissed
if you haven't
talked to the man
you're here to date,
and new girls just walked in.
‐ Hi! ‐ Hi.
‐ Hi, Matt. ‐ What's your name?
‐ Ryan. ‐ Nice to meet you.
‐ It's nice to meet you too.
‐ Why do you get to come in
halfway through,
like, fresh‐faced?
I don't want them here.
Go home.
Ugh.
‐ I'm Kimberly.
Nice to meet you.
‐ Nice to meet you as well.
‐ I'm not watching this.
I'm done.
I need to be in a good
mental state to talk to him,
and I just feel so pissed off.
‐ Hi! I'm Kimberly!
Nice to meet you guys.
‐ I just‐‐how many?
When does it stop?
‐ I literally have like PTSD
from night one right now.
It's just like never‐ending.
‐ I'm Catalina.
‐ Catalina. ‐ Yes.
So I'm from Puerto Rico,
and I also had the privilege
to be Miss Puerto Rico Universe.
But what I want to tell you
is that now I'm here
to hopefully become the queen
of your universe.
‐ I like that.
‐ Oh, my God!
‐ Hi, everyone!
‐ Who the are these
random‐ass hos
coming into the house?
Catalina, come here.
I would love to meet you.
‐ Okay.
I mean, I‐‐of course. ‐ Uh‐oh.
‐ I'll go over there.
‐ I'm gonna scoot over.
‐ Are you a former Miss,
or, like‐‐
‐ Yeah, so I'm Victoria,
like the queen...
‐ Okay. ‐ And so I think
I should have that crown,
actually.
‐ Oh, really? ‐ Yeah.
‐ I mean...
‐ Thank you.
- ‐ Victoria...
- ‐ Victoria.
‐ Victoria!
‐ Victoria! ‐ Victoria.
‐ The claws are out, man.
Like...
yikes.
‐ I think you're Elsa royalty
tonight.
I don't think Elsa
wears a crown.
‐ Okay, that's fine.
‐
Breathe.
Five more women
were added to the equation.
Now my head's spinning,
'cause I'm just like‐‐
I don't know what to think
at this point.
‐ This is new and exciting,
you know, candy for him.
Like, who's to say
he doesn't want to explore
all five of them?
‐ How do you tell women
who you're forming feelings for
that there are gonna
be more women
to take into consideration
and their time's gonna be...
even more scarce to come across?
‐ I'm super upset.
Like, I finally got time
with him,
and then it was interrupted.
‐ Will I not get time again?
It's very frustrating
and very annoying.
‐ It makes the decisions tougher
because you don't want
to miss out on somebody
because you don't know enough,
but there is a 100% chance
there will be hostility,
there's a 100% chance
there's gonna be drama,
and... I'm in trouble.
‐ I hate everything about this.
Right now, I want to leave.
This isn't fair.
I'm so upset.
I'm literally shaking right now.
‐ We're just processing.
‐ We're invested already,
so that's why
it's like so shocking.
‐ Yeah, I mean, but you guys
also had more time
than me, though, so...
‐ I'm so excited to finally
get some time...
‐ I would love
some time with Matt.
‐ After being here
for three weeks
and then get time taken away
and then get more time
taken away
by more girls coming in.
So I'm sorry, but I am...
not happy.
‐ Five new girls showed up.
How is that fair?
There are girls
that have been here
that still haven't got
a lot of time with him,
and now they're, like,
fighting with these new girls.
‐ But, like,
we might not make it
past this night because
there's new girl's here.
‐ I don't feel good.
Like, I'm not happy.
I am upset
about the entire thing.
I'm just very curious
to see how it's gonna work
with these new women
in the house,
because maybe he looks at them
like a shiny new toy.
So maybe the women
that have been here,
I mean, we might get put
to the back burner.
‐ Oh, my gosh! ‐ Hey.
‐ Hello! ‐ Hey.
‐ What's going on?
‐ How are you? ‐ I'm all right.
‐ What's going on?
‐ How‐‐how are y'all doing?
‐ Not great.
‐ Yeah. Um...
I'm still in shock, obviously.
Um...
It was a‐‐a nice surprise.
I'm‐‐we're happy to have you,
and I don't have a glass,
but I'm gonna propose a toast
to the‐‐the new arrivals.
Welcome, and, um,
I'm looking forward to getting
to know you all tonight,
so let's‐‐let's‐‐let's keep
it‐‐let's keep it moving.
‐ Can we finish our convo
outside?
‐ Yeah. Let's go. ‐ Okay.
‐ So‐‐
‐ Sorry. We are not trying to
make you feel uncomfortable
in any way right now.
‐ If you feel like an energy,
it's because a lot of us
are already very deeply invested
in our relationship with Matt.
‐ You know, we all
kinda want the same thing.
‐ Brittany‐‐
I, like, recognize her.
We're both from Chicago,
and she's, like, sketchy.
She's not here for Matt.
‐ Since you know
one of the girls,
do you see her as a threat
going forward?
‐ I don't see her
ever ending up with Matt.
Literally,
all I've been told about her
is that, like, her‐‐ she sucks.
‐ Okay. ‐ But, like, also,
I don't know her. ‐ Mm‐hmm.
‐ Um...
someone that, like,
made out with him right away.
‐ I feel like, too,
I was telling you, like,
I, in normal life,
like, run for things.
Like, I'll run for the hills.
‐ Yeah.
‐ And so it's hard to stay here
and, like, work through things,
but I think it would
be worth it, and, like,
I do think that you and I
would be a good match.
‐ Agreed.
‐ Bye. ‐ Bye.
Have fun with... mm... her.
‐ Hey, Matt.
I'm, like, so happy
I finally, like,
get to meet you.
‐ I know, I know.
‐ It's been
like so crazy in my room.
Like... ‐ I can't imagine.
‐ Another week without, like,
any human interaction.
‐ Yeah.
‐ I'm kind of going crazy.
And, plus, not a lot of
the girls were happy to see me.
I was like, "Oh, my God."
‐ No, I know.
‐ This is just like‐‐
I can talk to anybody,
but, like, I feel like there
was just a lot of tension.
‐ I would be incredibly upset
if I didn't have time.
To know that I could leave here
without laying it out
all on the table,
it will gut me,
and that's why
I have extreme anger.
Process is dwindling down,
he's really deciding who he
wants to spend his life with,
and now five girls
have entered into the equation.
‐ You said you had a big family.
So how many brothers
and sisters do you have?
‐ Well I only have one brother.
‐ Okay. Okay, okay.
‐ So... and he's younger.
He's 22. ‐ Okay.
‐ Matt,
forging new relationships
with all the new girls
is very triggering,
and it brings up
a lot of insecurities.
‐ I have a little doggy
named Bosley.
‐ What kind of dog?
‐ He's a shar‐pei.
And he drools all the time.
‐ He drools all over the place?
‐ All over the place.
‐ I'm pissed off right now
because these new girls
have come in
and hijacked the night.
‐ When I saw you,
I was like, "Oh, my Gosh."
Like... ‐
‐ You are way cuter in person.
‐ I want to know what Matt
is feeling right now.
I want to know
what he's thinking.
I mean, I'm sure he,
as the Bachelor,
is excited that there's
more women here
and more opportunity for him
to fall in love,
which is great for him.
At the same time, like,
I'm concerned about myself
and my feelings.
‐ I feel like I know, like,
a little bit of who you are.
‐ Just a little bit?
‐ You know, just a little bit.
‐ Yeah?
‐ But at the end of the day,
like, after this experience
is done,
are you
that down‐to‐earth person
who's gonna be there
for the people around you?
Like... ‐ Dang.
‐ That's what I'm looking for.
‐ Yeah, no. That's real.
‐ And, like, that's what I want.
‐ Like, I want to be
my most authentic self
so that... like,
you don't leave here like,
"That's not the person
that I met."
Like, you know what I mean?
‐ Absolutely. Yep.
‐ So it's difficult at times
because a lot of what we do
isn't normal,
but bear with me,
because I'm trying...
‐ I will, I will.
‐ And‐‐and I can't help
but not keep it together,
so, like, you're just gonna see
that I'm human,
just like everybody else.
‐ Yeah.
I mean, I'm looking for someone
who will change the world
with me,
and it seems like
you'd be a good one.
‐ I could be that.
I could be that. ‐ I think so!
‐ ‐ It seems like it, right?
‐ Yeah.
‐ I feel like we'd breed well.
‐ I like where your head's at.
‐ I'll just put it all
out there, right? ‐
‐ And if it's a small thing
like this that shakes me,
I'm just like‐‐I don't know.
‐ This isn't a small thing.
This is five new girls
with no new roses added.
‐ I just want the Rose Ceremony
to start.
I mean, there's still
like a chance
that, like, some of them
don't stay tonight.
‐ I wouldn't mind if he sent
one of them home, though.
‐ Yeah.
‐ Oh, no, I was thinking all.
‐
‐ Yes! ‐ Hello, everybody.
‐ Chris.
‐ And, uh, hello
to our‐‐our newcomers.
It's time for another
Rose Ceremony.
‐ Going into the Rose Ceremony,
the fact that there are five
new girls here tonight,
I'm obviously very upset
right now.
If these girls
showing up here tonight
is, uh, gonna jeopardize
my opportunity
at getting a rose,
yeah, that would sting a lot.
‐ I'm nervous
for the Rose Ceremony.
That's for sure.
We had five new ladies
joining the house,
but I would be hoping,
at this point,
that Matt is making
rose decisions
based on a relationship
he's already formed
rather than, like, fresh face.
‐ Matty. ‐ Chris.
‐ How you doing, man?
‐ The last thing
I was expecting tonight
was to have five incredible
women join this journey.
‐ To come in such
a hostile environment,
I'm just, like,
kind of taken back
by how like angry everyone was,
but I probably have
a stronger relationship
within the first five minutes
of talking to him
than a lot of these girls.
‐ You know,
the room was extremely tense.
I can only imagine that
that's gonna intensify
as I start to have
more interactions
with these new women
and potentially form feelings,
so I don't know
what to think right now.
‐ Right. You ready to head in?
‐ I am. ‐ All right.
I'll see you in there.
‐ Thank you, Chris.
‐ Ladies, I wanted
to thank you all again
for an incredible evening
and, again,
welcome the‐‐the new ladies
who have joined this journey.
I can imagine it's been
difficult for you all,
and I continue
to challenge everyone
to be vulnerable
and trust the process,
and everything's
gonna work itself out.
MJ.
‐ Excuse me.
‐ MJ, will you accept this rose?
‐ Of course.
‐ Pieper.
Pieper, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Of course.
Thank you.
‐ Bri.
Bri, will you accept this rose?
‐ Yeah. Yes.
‐ We had 18 girls
going into the night,
and now we have 23.
‐ Magi.
Magi, will you accept this rose?
‐ Yes.
‐ I'm worried, honestly,
about the possibility
that Matt has started
to form the idea
of, like,
"Oh, new, shiny stuff."
‐ Michelle.
Michelle, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Absolutely. Thank you.
‐ These girls have barged in
on our night
and barged in on our process
and our relationships with Matt.
‐ Mari.
‐ Excuse me.
‐ Mari, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Of course. Thank you.
‐ Again, tonight,
I had no time with Matt.
I'm kind of envious
seeing these new girls come in
and automatically get roses.
‐ Ryan.
‐ Excuse me.
‐ Ryan, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes. Thank you.
‐ It's just another way
of fueling my frustration,
again.
‐ Kit.
Kit, will you accept this rose?
‐ Of course.
‐ But I refuse to let it
get the better of me.
For me, it's like
I've done enough crying.
‐ Serena C.
Serena, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes.
‐ Abigail.
Abigail, will you accept
this rose?
‐ I will.
‐ For a few girls to come in,
it's extremely hard to process.
‐ Katie.
‐ Excuse me.
Katie, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Absolutely.
‐ Time was taken away from folks
to build a relationship
with Matt.
Ugh.
It's just‐‐
it's very frustrating.
‐ Victoria.
Victoria, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes. Of course. Thank you.
‐ Knowing
you're on the chopping block
and then to have five more
girls walk in,
it just‐‐it doesn't
sit right with me.
‐ Lauren.
‐ Excuse me.
‐ Lauren, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes.
‐ It sucks, too,
because us girls
have been in the house
for three weeks.
‐ Brittany.
Brittany, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Absolutely.
‐ I'm pissed!
I'm so mad. I'm so...
‐
‐
‐ Jessenia.
Jessenia, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes.
‐ So it's just a lot.
‐ Anna.
Anna, will you accept this rose?
‐ Of course.
‐ Ladies, Matt,
this is the final rose tonight.
When you're ready. ‐ Thank you.
‐ Catalina.
‐ Sorry, ladies.
‐ Catalina, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes, of course I will.
Thank you. ‐ Yeah.
‐ Ladies, I'm sorry.
If you did not receive a rose,
take a moment.
Say your goodbyes.
‐ Bye, babies.
‐ Aw, girl.
Bye.
‐ Bye.
‐ Bye, girls. Love you.
‐ Bye.
I hope you find
all the happiness.
‐ Thank you.
‐ It's just
kind of disheartening.
With the new girls here,
there's already kind of a divide
between the "OGs,"
like, the original group,
and the new girls.
‐ It was nice meeting you.
‐ Likewise.
‐ If one of the new girls
gets a one‐on‐one,
everyone's gonna be pissed.
Like, everyone's
gonna be pissed.
It's gonna be such.
‐ To new beginnings
and going on this journey,
and to Matt
finding his future wife.
Cheers.
‐ These girls just don't get it.
Like, they think
it's gonna be a cakewalk,
and it's just like,
pump your brakes.
I think they're just naive
to what they're walking into.
They have no idea.
‐ To love. ‐ To love.
Cheers.
‐ Game on.
‐ We can't let the newbies
come and take our spots.
‐ The dynamic is aggressive.
- ‐ These girls have no idea.
- ‐
‐ I know some dirt on you.
‐ The word "escort"
is being thrown around.
‐ I'd heard rumors...
she's entertaining men
for money.
‐
‐ Good morning.
‐ Good morning!
‐ Hi, Chris Harrison.
‐ Hello.
Um, we did have some newcomers
last night,
which made things
a little interesting.
‐ ‐ Welcome...
Thank you. ‐ To the ladies
that are new here. ‐ Thank you.
‐ Uh, what was it like
walking in last night?
‐ It was, like,
really intimidating.
‐ I definitely
was a little bit shocked
that it was gonna be so tense
and it was gonna be so awkward.
‐ Last night
was so freaking hard.
Like, Matt gave four out of
five of the new girls roses,
so the new girls
are definitely coming in hot,
and that's why
I'm gonna show them
that I am queen of the castle
and the kingdom,
and hopefully,
the newbies feel the pressure
and drop like flies.
‐ Whether you have been here
since night one
or if last night
was your night one,
it's all about finding love.
For some of you,
I have your first date card,
and I'll see you all very soon.
‐ Bye. ‐ See you.
‐ I'm definitely hoping
to hear my name.
It is an opportunity
to have time with Matt,
so to have these new girls
disrupt that dynamic
that we have is scary.
‐ Mari.
Bri. ‐ Mm.
‐ Abigail.
Brittany.
‐ Yay!
‐ Ryan.
Catalina.
Magi.
Anna.
Victoria.
"Let's fall in love. Matt."
‐ I'm excited. I'm ready.
I was, like, anticipating
if my name was gonna
be on the card or not,
and when I heard it,
it felt really nice.
Let's get it.
‐ When we get the date card
and we realize
that there's three new girls
on our date,
including Brittany,
I'm annoyed, because honestly,
she just walked in
trying to start stuff.
‐ Today should be fun.
‐ Like, go home.
‐ What's up, man?
‐ What's going on?
‐ Man, good to see you.
‐ Good to see you too.
‐ Last night was heavy,
and Ben Higgins is here
because I want his input
to make sure
that I'm doing not only right
by these women,
but I'm following my heart
through the process.
‐ Okay, so it's been hard.
‐ Yeah. Yeah.
Last night‐‐I don't know
if this has ever happened,
where you‐‐you‐‐
you leave a Rose Ceremony
with more women
than you went into it.
You know, it's like
I'm back to square one.
It's like,
I'm happy they're here,
but it's‐‐it's scary,
because, like,
what if the relationship there
is stronger than the ones
that I've already formed?
And‐‐and‐‐and what if
they're not,
and I could've put more time
into a relationship
that could've sprouted?
It's just...
‐ If I'm in your seat,
I'm‐‐I'm sitting there.
I'm going, "Okay, you have
kind of the old regime,
and now the new girls
coming in‐‐"
‐ "Old regime."
‐ How are you gonna
bring 'em together?
‐ Oh... I don't know.
‐ You've gotta continue to be
just your realest to them,
and you have to be giving
as much of yourself
that you possibly can.
‐ Yep.
‐ Uh, I've got a great day
for you planned.
I'm here alongside you
the whole time,
and, uh, today's
gonna be super interesting.
I know the ladies
are on their way.
‐ Talking to Ben Higgins
is great.
You know, I felt the tension
in the room yesterday,
and I just wanna make sure
that these women are focused
and our relationship
continues to progress,
so I'm putting
a lot of faith in Ben
that he's gonna handle
today's date.
It's gonna be a lot of fun.
‐ Hey! ‐ Hey, ladies.
‐ Ooh! ‐ Hi.
‐ My name is Ben.
It's been a bit, but, uh,
I was, at one point,
the Bachelor.
This is a beautiful fall day,
so Matt asked me to come here,
set up the Fall in Love Fest,
which is an obstacle course.
‐ Okay.
‐ Station number one
is the pumpkin race.
You're gonna get into
a 1,000‐pound pumpkins,
row across the lake to where
Matt will be waiting for you.
And it's a foot race
to station number two.
At Squirreling Around,
you're gonna put on
your squirrel costume.
Once you do that,
Find Your Acorn,
and carry it like a squirrel.
You're gonna walk
across the balance beam,
drop your acorn in the bucket,
and it's a foot race
to the finish.
And the winner of this
is gonna get
a very special prize.
‐ We have some new girls here,
so I'm gonna fight for Matt
and the prize at the end,
whatever that is.
‐ Oh‐ho‐ho!
‐ In the name of love,
three, two, one!
‐ Mine is not moving! ‐ Ah!
‐ It's craziness.
‐ Why am I going backwards?
‐
‐ This is fun,
but it's also my first date
with all the girls,
so I don't know
how competitive they are,
and I'm just gonna try my best.
All in the name of love!
‐ I'm impressed.
‐ Victoria, good job.
Good job, good job.
Magi, over here!
‐ Magi, this way!
‐ Come on, Magi!
‐ You gotta push yourself
through the water.
‐ It's not moving!
‐ Use your paddles!
‐ Victoria's the first.
‐ The new girls got damn lucky
that this was their first
group date.
‐ That's a hat.
‐ Everything's been pretty fun.
‐ How do I even...
‐ I'm feeling competitive.
The OGs need to win.
‐ All right, go, go, go!
Find your acorns!
‐ I don't see‐‐
‐ Find your acorns!
‐ Aah! ‐ Whose is that?
‐ I couldn't find my acorn!
‐ There we go.
‐ But I found Brittany's,
and then I hid it.
‐ I don't see...
‐ So that's good.
‐ Aah!
‐ I haven't found one. ‐ Oh!
‐ How we doing?
Where's the acorn?
Where's the acorn? Whose is it?
‐ Whose is it? ‐ I got mine!
Yes! ‐ Yes, Mari!
‐ I'm seeing, like,
the girls next to me
all, like, have their acorn.
Where the...
I literally couldn't find
my acorn anywhere.
Oh, my God.
‐ I'm trying!
‐ Mari! ‐ Yes, Mari!
‐ Drop the acorn, and it's
a foot race to the finish!
‐ Let's go, let's go!
Look for those acorns!
‐ I'm, like, scrambling
because maybe
the special surprise
is extra time with Matt...
‐ Where's the finish?
‐ Where's Mari?
‐ Come on, come on, come on!
‐ And next thing I know,
I already see Mari
running for the finish line.
‐ Come on!
Hey.
‐
‐ I'm so glad it was one
of the OG girls that won.
‐ Congratulations, Mari!
These nuts are yours.
‐ Thank you.
‐ The new girls
didn't really stand out,
in my eyes.
‐ All right, ladies, let's get
out of these squirrel outfits
and head to the afterparty.
‐ Oh, my God, I'd be so happy
to get this group date rose
to show these newbies
who the queen is.
‐ This is not fun!
‐ So what'd y'all think
about today?
That was fun, right? ‐ Yeah.
‐ Yes.
‐ No one fell out of
the pumpkins, which was nice.
‐ Thank God. ‐ Yeah.
‐ I was worried about that.
‐ I was nervous. ‐ But, um...
the most enjoyable thing for me
with the group dates
is the afterparty.
So to getting to know
each other better
and everyone
making it out alive today.
‐ Cheers.
‐ None of us wanted
to put on a squirrel costume,
but, like, it was fun,
but now it's like
I actually really need time
tonight.
‐ You wanna get out of here?
‐ Yeah.
‐ And Matt grabs me first,
which‐‐I'm like,
"Okay. Let's go."
I'm excited.
‐ You look incredible,
by the way.
‐ Thank you. So do you. ‐ Yeah.
‐ You always do.
Kind of have a little plan
in my head
of, like, what I wanna do,
what I wanna say,
and I really hope I get
the group date rose tonight.
Okay, so the first thing
you're gonna realize about me
is that, like, I'm awkward,
and that's why, like,
this situation just
kind of is like a lot for me.
‐ Yeah.
‐ Like, growing up in Minnesota,
I feel like we were always
outside doing things.
Um, like, I grew up boating,
water sports.
Like‐‐that's why
I was, like, kayaking.
"I got this, baby."
‐ You were crushing it today.
No.
‐ I was like, "I need to win."
‐ Hey. Can I talk to you?
‐ I'm actually
gonna try to keep him
for a couple more minutes,
if you don't mind.
‐ I know, but I, like, really
haven't talked to him at all.
‐ Um, if you could give me,
like, five,
he is yours, hon'.
‐ Okay. ‐ Yeah.
I'm ticked off.
Brittany's brand‐new.
She feels entitled to time.
I've been here for three weeks,
and I haven't had time.
Like, you can wait
your three weeks
and then talk to him.
I think we'd be great
if we would just get time.
‐ To that point, like,
what's things
that you wanted to tell me
that you feel like,
"If he just knew this,"
or, like,
"I wanted to share this"?
‐ Yeah.
Um...
‐ But all I'm thinking about
is her standing there
or interrupting
or interrupting again
in 30 seconds.
‐ Is it cool if I steal him now?
‐ Um, yeah, I'm gonna try
to grab you later
in the night, then.
‐ Okay. ‐ Okay.
It's just... disrespectful.
‐ Hey, Matt.
‐ What's up? ‐ How are you?
‐ I almost wanna be like,
"Yo, girl,
"like, I know some dirt on you.
Don't mess with me... please."
Literally, we were talking
for, like, five minutes,
and she came in, and I was like,
"No.
Can I get five more minutes?"
and it was like,
"No, I need him,"
and I was like...
‐ I mean, yeah.
Like, I'm not surprised.
Brittany lacks a lot of class. ‐
‐ Like, Brittany
made out with Matt
within two seconds
of meeting him.
It's, like, slutty. ‐ Yeah.
‐ That kiss we shared
when you first got out‐‐
‐ I know.
I'm just like‐‐I‐‐I felt like
I needed to kind of like
do something bold like that
in order for you
to just be like, "Okay..."
‐ I loved that. ‐ "This girl..."
‐ That was great. ‐ Okay, good.
‐ Being from Chicago,
where she is,
I'd heard rumors, and...
people have gone
out of their way to tell me,
"Oh, my God.
Watch out for this girl."
‐ In what regard?
Like, watch out with her, how?
‐ That she is entertaining men
for money.
‐
That's insane.
‐ It's all, like, ins‐‐
no one's sending my profile
being like,
"Watch out for this girl,"
like...
There is a rumor,
because she knows
all of the rich men in Chicago,
that Brittany may be an escort.
She may be having
a transactional relationship
with wealthy men.
‐ I could see her playing Matt
if that's what she's
used to doing with men
to get what she wants.
‐ The new girls
who came in with me last night,
our perspective
is we have to catch up.
I know that I deserve
to be here,
I know that I'm here
for the right reasons,
and so at the point of, like,
do I feel like everyone
should respect everyone?
Yes, and I'm sure
that the other new girls
are feeling somewhat similar.
‐ Michelle's here
at the house with us today.
The only new girl.
You know, obviously, a little‐‐
an uncomfortable situation
for everybody.
‐
‐ For this week,
I hope to get the one‐on‐one.
Um, I hope that Michelle
does not get the one‐on‐one,
just because a lot of us
are hoping
that, at this point,
one‐on‐ones are based
on furthering a connection
rather than starting one.
‐ Michelle.
‐
‐ "Let's make up
for lost time...
Matt."
‐ Thank you.
I am genuinely excited,
um, and I want to make up
for lost time.
Like, that's
what I came here to do.
‐ Michelle, like,
we don't know you,
and you just walked in here
and got the one‐on‐one?
She's gonna have more time
than I've had
the entire time here.
It's really frustrating.
I hope she doesn't come back
with a rose, honestly.
‐ This is now
my second group date,
which obviously makes it
a little bit harder.
I did feel a little insecure
in the squirrel suit, but...
‐ You looked good
in the squirrel suit.
‐ ‐ I liked the squirrel suit.
‐ Good. But yeah.
No, I mean, it is‐‐
it's challenging, and I'm‐‐
I know you know that, too,
and I know that
you're feeling that, too,
so I'm also just still grateful
that I'm able to get those
little interactions with you,
'cause I feel it. ‐ You feel it?
‐ Mm‐hmm. ‐ Okay, good.
‐ Sticking through whatever
drama's happening in the house
makes the moments
like tonight with Matt
feel extremely worth it.
I hope I get the rose.
‐ I really enjoyed my time
and conversations
with everyone tonight.
Brittany,
I appreciate how bold you were
and your gestures,
and Anna, I'm continuing to love
what I'm getting to know
about you...
‐ I really hope I get the rose.
This is like the first time
I kind of feel like
I have an actual shot at it.
‐ But unfortunately, tonight,
there's only one rose.
Bri...
will you accept this rose?
‐ Yes.
‐.
‐ Thank you. ‐ You're welcome.
‐ Brittany bites me in the ass.
‐ It's getting late,
so I will see you all tomorrow.
‐ She comes in and blatantly
disrespects time.
If her intentions are ill,
that messes
with my relationship.
That messes with my feelings.
That directly affects me.
Brittany, I really want
to talk to you.
‐ Yeah. ‐ Um...
we're all fighting
for the same man,
so I just wanna make sure
that your intentions...
‐ Yeah. ‐ Are pure coming here.
So coming into this,
I actually was getting messages
from people in Chicago,
um...
and just kind of them
saying, like,
"Watch out for this girl."
That, like, you're an escort
and all this stuff.
‐ Wait, you were telling people
in the house that?
‐ Think that's an awful thing
to say about someone,
and I want to apologize
but also kind of give you
the space
if you wanted to talk
about, like, why
people were sending warnings
about you
when I literally
have never met you.
‐ No, I'm not a escort.
Like, it's just
like so ridiculous
to even, like, say that,
like, to have that
come out of my mouth, like...
I've had a boyfriend my entire‐‐
like, since I was 16.
Making, like,
a conclusion about me
before you, like,
even know me just...
That's sh... that's.
I don't know.
It just makes me, like‐‐
I just feel like everyone's,
like, against me right now,
and, like, I know you guys
don't care at all...
‐
‐ But it's really hard.
‐ Okay. Then get out the house.
‐ It's extremely awkward.
Anna's intention was
to, you know, start up stuff
because Brittany's a new face,
and it's untrue...
And it's disgusting, honestly.
Moving forward,
Brittany is gonna
have to carry that with her
and defend it.
She shouldn't be put
in that situation.
‐ Then I'm glad
we had this chat.
‐ They spread a rumor about me
saying I'm an escort.
‐ She's the dumbest ho...
‐ ‐ I've ever met.
‐ We're the varsity squad.
‐ It's just mob mentality.
There's some pretty bad rumors
that literally could ruin
their lives.
‐ Who's spreading
these rumors, and why?
‐ Apparently,
the nightlife world in Chicago
is pretty small, so...
Anna and Brittany
know each other?
‐ Yeah, I mean,
we talked about it with Anna,
because Anna, like, knew of her,
and Anna said that she runs
around with the big spenders,
but she's not one of the working
bottle service girls, so...
There are some rumors
about Brittany,
but it's a rumor
until proven false or true.
‐ A lot of times,
these men are just kind of
paying these girls
to spend time with them.
‐ To hang out with them. Yeah.
In a perfect world, obviously,
we would not want
any more drama,
but with Brittany,
I can only see it
getting worse and worse.
‐ It was hard to sleep
last night,
but in a good way, though.
How are you? ‐ Good.
How are you doing? ‐ Good.
The fact that I actually
get to make up for lost time
so quickly
with Matt on a one‐on‐one
is pretty cool.
‐ You look great. ‐ All right.
‐ You look ready to go.
‐ I like the sweater!
‐ Thank you. ‐ Hey.
I'm a person
that likes to have fun,
so I really hope that I get
to see that side of him today.
‐ Are you nervous?
‐ Good‐nervous.
Like, I'm ready to go.
How are you? ‐ I'm excited.
‐ Yeah? ‐ Yeah.
When you first got here,
you really caught my eye,
and I know that some
of the other women
had a head start, but I wanted
to spend today with you,
'cause I felt something,
and I wanted to explore it
with you.
‐ I'm so ready. ‐ Me too.
‐ I have no idea
what we're doing.
‐ You really don't know? ‐ No.
‐ Chris Harrison
has taken over responsibility
for planning the date...
‐ Oh, no.
‐ And we're going
on an extreme scavenger hunt.
‐ ‐ Yeah, no.
The sky's the limit
when he's in control.
I really enjoyed
getting to know Michelle
that first night
that she pulled up.
‐ Okay. Are you ready?
‐ I'm ready. ‐
‐ I love the fact
that she's a teacher
and she's a former athlete...
First clue.
And I'm looking forward to
learning more about her today.
‐ Okay.
"Matt and Michelle,
"take the leap
to find your next clue.
Chris Harrison."
‐
‐ Wait, we're going
off that thing?
‐ Yeah, we're going
off this thing.
So our first clue
is talking about
a leap of faith,
and from the looks of things,
it's gonna take
a lot of faith and prayers
to get to the bottom
of this thing safely.
So I'm trying to be strong,
but I'm a little nervous.
‐ Oh, my gosh.
‐ Are you nervous?
‐ I'm really...
Do I look nervous? ‐ No.
You look great.
‐ Okay, ready?
One, two, three.
‐ Go!
Ahh!
‐ ‐ Ah!
‐
Whoa! ‐ Whoo!
Whoo!
‐
‐ That was awesome. ‐ Wow.
‐ My eyes are watering.
Does that mean
I technically won?
‐ You technically did win.
Somehow, she slipped ahead
at the end.
Like, I was leading
the whole way,
and then Michelle
finished first.
I was like, "What?"
I don't know.
‐ It's good for you
to learn early on.
I'm just kidding.
‐ I feel like our clue
is in one of these balloons.
It's gotta be.
‐ I'll hold one, and you pop it.
Oh, God. Oh.
‐ All right.
"Any hidden talents?"
‐ Oh, God. ‐ No pressure.
Okay. ‐ Like this.
‐ Okay.
First of all, how did you
figure out that that was‐‐
like, were you just sitting
at home just like, "Oh, wow"?
‐ It's been a really fun day
so far.
And as I'm laughing
and just, like, enjoying
all these really fun moments
with Matt...
‐
‐ I do feel like he's a person
that has all these qualities
that I've been looking for.
How many children
do you hope to have?
You wanna say it
at the same time on three?
‐ I like that.
‐ Okay, ready?
One, two, three.
Three.
‐
‐ Wrap it up.
Time to go home.
‐ Michelle is incredible.
It's hard to let your guard down
around someone new,
but Michelle makes that easy.
‐ "Matt and Michelle,
it's time to take your love
to new heights."
‐ Oh, my gosh.
‐ Hot air balloon, here we come.
‐ The more time I'm spending
with Michelle,
I realize that we could have fun
literally doing anything.
Wow.
‐ You are a tall man
in a hot air balloon.
‐ This is‐‐
this is a great date.
‐ Is your head hot? ‐ Yes.
Is yours? ‐ Yeah.
It feels like
we're kind of just like
taking our connection in stride.
We're not missing a beat.
What? Today is just unreal,
and this is the best first date
that I've ever experienced.
‐ Guys... ‐ Don't look.
‐ It's a hot air balloon!
‐ It's a hot air balloon!
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ You see her? ‐ Yes.
‐ I see her, but‐‐
‐ Straight up.
‐ Really? ‐ Yes.
‐ I wanna vomit right now.
‐ We look out,
and there happens to be
a Nemacolin hot air balloon
with Matt and... Michelle.
‐ Wow.
‐ It is a hot time. ‐ Oh, man.
‐ Today's been incredible.
Like, I'm just up there
vibing with Michelle.
It's something about
her presence, you know?
It's‐‐it's‐‐she
kind of puts me at ease.
It feels like I've known her
for a long time,
and today is just confirming
everything that I felt.
‐ Imagine your first kiss
in a hot air balloon.
Stop!
‐ I'm sorry. It just came out.
I don't know why I said it.
But imagine‐‐
‐ ‐ Shut up!
‐ Matt is definitely somebody
that I could
picture myself with.
I just want
to keep moving forward
and continue to get to know
more and more about him
and see the different sides
of him
and what makes him tick.
Oh, my gosh.
‐ To me, Michelle
getting a one‐on‐one
is sort of bittersweet,
'cause it's hopeful
knowing that us newer girls
do have a chance,
but at the same time,
it's like another girl
getting more time with him
that I don't get.
It's a weird thing
where you're like happy
but not at the same time.
‐ I'm definitely not happy
at all.
‐ I'm not happy at all.
‐ I'm not happy, period.
‐ I actually don't
relate to you.
I'm just straight‐up unhappy.
‐ Date card. ‐ Date card.
‐ These girls have no idea.
Like, I can't even tell you
how bad I wanted
that one‐on‐one time.
Do I think the new girl
that just walked in here
deserves a one‐on‐one?
No.
I feel like
that was disrespectful,
like, bottom line.
‐ Katie.
Pieper.
Serena P.
Rachael.
Kit.
Chelsea.
Jessenia.
Lauren.
Serena C.
MJ.
"Are you willing
to fight for love?
Matt."
‐ Seriously?
‐ I'm so scared! ‐
‐ Wow.
What is this?
I don't know if I've ever
dated anyone like Matt.
He's a very unique person
for many wonderful reasons.
Oh, my goodness.
Look at these cars. ‐ I know.
It's a nice spot, isn't it?
‐ This is pretty cool.
‐ It's dope, right?
‐ This is so cute.
‐
‐ And so if the connection
continues to build
and it's the right fit, then...
see you later.
What was your absolute
favorite part today,
if you had to pick one part?
‐ To be honest with you? ‐ Mm.
‐ When you walked up,
'cause I was just waiting
for you.
I'm just like sitting there,
like pacing back and forth,
getting antsy,
and then I see you,
and I just started smiling.
That was my favorite part.
And then before I knew it,
the day's over.
‐ Right?
‐ Like, I feel like it flew by.
‐ Right.
‐ Which is a good thing.
You know, it's like time
with you just flies by.
‐ Well, the feeling
is definitely mutual.
It's kind of caught me
off guard how that, like,
quick conversation
at that Rose Ceremony
turned into, like,
"Why do I feel like
I've known him for so long?"
‐ Yeah.
‐ But I guess that's exactly
what I'm looking for.
That's exactly what I want,
so...
‐ You've been so patient,
and I'm so appreciative
of you being here,
and I'm excited
to just know more about you.
‐ Yes, absolutely.
‐ What made you want to get
into teaching and education?
‐ From a young age,
I just always wanted
to help those around me,
and as I got older,
I realized that you can enter
passionate work
that allows you to do that
every day.
I'm able to go to work,
and I know that I'm making
a difference.
Some days,
it doesn't feel like that
when you get home... ‐ Yeah.
‐ But I'm constantly thinking
about, like, my students...
‐ Mm‐hmm.
‐ And what kind of year it is
with the pandemic.
And everything with
George Floyd in Minnesota
this past spring‐‐
that was very close to home,
and so it's been a really
difficult year for my students,
especially my students of color,
and wanting to make sure
that I can be there for them.
‐ I mean, I can't imagine
what your students
must've been going through,
and you're trying to teach 'em,
and they're at home.
You can't hug 'em and... ‐ Yeah.
‐ Comfort 'em.
Like, what was that like?
‐ That was a absolutely
terrible, heavy situation,
and some people consider it,
like, a touchy topic.
‐ Right. ‐ Right? To talk about.
But parents wanted
to have that conversation.
‐ Yeah. Yep.
‐ You know what I mean?
Like, that's a start somewhere
is that they're releasing‐‐
"This is the conversation
that we actually need
to sit down and have."
‐ As a educator,
that's another one
of the things I love about you,
that you have a heart
for these students,
and you see that the work
you're doing
is gonna shape a generation.
‐ I think it's also important
to change those lives
of those students,
and the first thing
I think of, like,
is everything that you're doing
with your food tours,
and we talked a little
about, like,
the achievement gap
and the opportunity gap,
and it was really cool
to tap into that,
and I don't want
to just pass the time.
I want to make a change so that
when I'm not here anymore,
I impacted people. ‐ Right.
‐ You know?
People don't necessarily
always remember what you say,
um,
but they, for sure,
definitely remember
how you made them feel.
‐ Maya Angelou?
‐ You clearly know.
I'm impressed.
‐ It's one of my favorite
quotes.
‐ Wow. I mean...
I am overwhelmed
in a very good way.
‐ The conversation
with Michelle's flowing
a lot smoother
than some of the women
who have been in the house
for four weeks now.
We're able to have fun,
go up in hot air balloons,
have this great experience
during the day,
and then we're able
to really dig deep
and then talk about
things that matter
and things that are gonna
affect the future,
and that's the type of depth
that I'm looking for in a woman.
I don't want to scare you,
but I wouldn't be here
if I wasn't serious
about finding a wife,
and I know
it's wild to think about
something like that happening
so quickly,
but I felt so comfortable
with you today,
and you embody
all the qualities
I'm looking for in a woman,
and that being said,
Michelle, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Absolutely.
Thank you.
I just had the best date
anyone could ask for.
Like, I feel like I'm floating
a little bit.
On cloud nine.
Thank you.
‐ Shall we do it? ‐ Let's go.
‐ It's kind of wild
to think about
how you can form feelings
for somebody so quickly
in this process.
‐ Fancy.
‐ Everything I'm hearing
about Michelle, I love.
We're connecting
on a lot of levels,
and I just really enjoy
her company.
‐ I feel like
I'm in high school again.
The thought
that someone like Michelle
could be someone that
I call my wife is exciting,
and what I've learned
about her‐‐
her story,
who she is as a woman,
and where she's going‐‐
I've seen all I need to see.
‐ So you know
what kind of sucked is,
apparently, like,
two of the girls, like,
knew me before I came here,
and I didn't even know that,
and they wanted
to spread a rumor about me,
um, basically, like,
saying I'm an escort.
‐ Crazy. ‐ And they were saying,
"We kind of heard that, like,
Brittany likes to party
back in Chicago," and, you know,
for them to try to twist it
and say that about me
just, like, really hurt.
‐ People are gonna
throw things out
that aren't accurate.
People are gonna make up stuff,
and it's‐‐it's hard here.
‐ You know, I'm just like
not like a huge
like emotional person
in general.
Like, I can handle my emotions
really well,
but, like, right now,
I just want to, like, just cry.
If somebody doesn't like me
and feels insecure
about themselves,
to, you know,
spread a rumor about me‐‐
like, obviously,
I'm going to address it.
‐ Did Matt hear that rumor?
‐ Not that I know of.
‐ I completely sympathize
with Brittany.
I mean, the rumors that were
spread were completely false,
and that's happened to me
before.
I mean, Victoria has been
a mean girl since day one,
and then you have Anna as well.
The thing is, there's
something new every day,
and it's becoming old.
The petty, mean‐girl stuff
needs to stop.
‐ I feel like everybody else
knows about it, so...
‐ Yeah, I mean, in this house,
there are no secrets.
Like, I'll be honest.
The whole house heard that.
‐ Yeah.
‐ It's been a very intense
past week in the house,
and these girls have
some pent‐up aggression.
You gotta get that aggression
out somehow,
and today,
they have that chance.
‐ Lots of energy or game faces?
‐ Oh, yeah, not game faces.
‐ No, we're allowed‐‐
‐ We're happy!
We're gonna see our man.
‐ Last night, we got a date card
that said, "Are you willing
to fight for love?"
Maybe we'll be fighting somehow.
I don't know, but it sounds
like we have to be physical.
So, yeah, I'm scared.
‐ Ooh! ‐ Yay!
‐ Hey.
‐ Hi. ‐ Ah!
‐ What's going on?
‐ How are you?
Hi. ‐ Good to see you.
‐ He just keeps getting hotter.
‐ What up? ‐ Just‐‐oof.
It's just like... yum. Daddy.
Hi! ‐ Hello.
‐ Welcome, ladies.
Um, for those of you
who do not know,
being physically fit and active
is a major part of my lifestyle,
and to that note,
it would only be appropriate
to invite a former five‐time
world boxing champion,
Mia St. John.
‐
‐ Yes!
‐ Okay. ‐ How you doing?
‐ Hello. Thank you.
‐ Good to see you again.
‐ Well, hello, ladies. all: Hi!
‐ Mia looks awesome
in her outfit.
She's like such a badass,
and I'm like,
"Yeah, this is exciting."
‐ Are you guys ready
to fight for this man?
‐ We've been fighting.
‐ Okay! ‐
‐ So tonight,
you all are going to be fighting
in front of a live audience.
‐ Whoo!
‐ All right, let's go!
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ This week is very intense.
Seeing the new girls walk in,
get immediate quality time
with him, sucks.
‐ Good.
‐ So like,
maybe this'll be good.
Maybe I'll get some anger out.
‐ One, two, three, four.
Slide. ‐ Yeah.
‐ Up with that. Hook.
There you go.
‐ One, two, three, four. Good.
‐ Is this just like an uppercut?
Everyone on the date today
is OGs.
We all respect each other,
especially
when it comes to Matt.
‐ One, two.
‐ If this is a competitive date,
I would have rather
had some of the new girls,
just 'cause it brings out
a little more edge in me.
I would wanna, like, try harder
to beat their asses
at whatever we're doing.
‐ Yes!
‐ This is for all the other
girls you're dating!
And getting no time!
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ It's a boxing ring!
‐ Oh, my God. ‐ God.
‐ What?
‐ I feel so bad for them.
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ Oh, my God.
This is just so crazy.
Guys, scoot down.
I can't wait to see
the OG girls fight.
The suspense is gonna kill me.
‐ Welcome to the main event.
Without further ado,
let the journey begin!
Let's welcome the ladies.
Hello, Bachelor Nation,
and welcome, fight fans
from around the world.
This is the Battle
for the Bachelor.
I'm Chris Harrison,
alongside three‐time
Golden Glove champion
and Muay Thai
fighting specialist
Wells Adams.
Wells, we have five bouts
tonight.
Ten women will step
into this ring.
‐ If I was on that date,
I would've punched Katie
in the face multiple times,
'cause she's
been pissing me off.
She'd wake up with a black eye.
‐ All right, Wells,
let's go to the ring
for the first match.
Katie... ‐!
‐ Versus Jessenia.
‐ Victoria pissed me off
the other day,
so this is a good date
to just let out some steam.
Sorry in advance, Jessenia.
‐ Okay, ladies. Keep it clean.
Touch 'em up. Let's go!
‐ Oh, Katie is fierce, angry.
‐ Whoo!
‐ You got this!
‐ Oh.
‐ Oh!
‐ The dynamic in the house
is aggressive.
There's still tension
from being new in the house,
so I'm really happy
that I'm not putting on those
boxing mitts.
‐ Oh, no. Oh, my God. ‐ Whoo!
‐ Wow. ‐.
‐ Wow. ‐ Good job. Good job.
And the winner
of this bout is...
Katie!
‐ They should've put
the new girls on.
It would've been
a completely different story.
There would've been blood
if the new girls
were on this date.
‐ Serena C.
Versus the mighty Kit.
‐ All right. Touch 'em up.
Let's go.
‐ Oh, look at Kit.
Serena just going at it.
‐ Serena C.!
‐ Oh, my gosh.
‐ Rachael versus Pieper.
‐ Fun and games are over.
That emotion comes out,
and they start throwin'...
‐ Whoo!
‐ And it was
kind of frightening.
‐ Oh!
‐ Are you ready?
Let's go!
‐ Serena P
versus Lauren.
‐ Oh!
‐ There's a jab to the throat.
‐ I'm nervous.
‐
‐ There's a shot!
‐ All right, it's over,
it's over, it's over.
Done. Throw in the towel.
‐ Okay, that's it,
that's it, that's it.
‐ That's the fight.
‐ That's it, that's it.
‐ Had to call the fight.
It was getting dangerous.
And that's not
what we were going for today.
We're‐‐we're‐‐
we're in there to have fun,
but the fact that they were
so willing to get in there
and‐‐and put their skills
on the line
for‐‐for love says a lot.
How you feeling?
‐ I'm fine. I just, like...
‐ Your nose hurts?
‐ Took a punch to the nose.
Yeah, that‐‐it really hurt.
I'm fine, I'm fine.
I'll see you tonight.
‐ Today was very intense.
Um, the women
aren't too banged up.
Hit the showers.
Get some ice on that nose.
Let's head to this afterparty,
because they've earned it.
‐ Ugh.
‐ Everyone brought it today
at the group date,
but, um, things kind of got
out of hand a little bit.
It was stressful, intense,
so this evening is about
getting back on track.
I want everyone
to be comfortable,
I want everyone to feel relaxed,
and I want these women
to have a good time.
I, uh, wanted to start out
by saying
you all continue
to push yourselves
and do things
outside of your comfort zone,
and for me,
that's when I've experienced
the most growth,
and I'm seeing it
in a lot of the relationships
that I'm forming with you all.
To that point...
I'd like to propose a toast
to digging deeper tonight.
‐ Cheers. ‐ Cheers.
‐ Cheers.
‐ Matt definitely made an effort
to make me feel special
on the group date today.
He, like, came by
and checked on me
and made sure I was okay,
so it would be great
to get a rose,
but we'll see how the rest
of the night goes.
‐ How are you doing?
‐ Like, this week
was kind of hard, honestly.
You know,
whether we like it or not,
like, we spend more time
with the girls than with you...
‐ Yeah. ‐ So like,
these relationships with them
form as well.
‐ Yeah, I see that.
‐ So having the new girls
come in,
and then, like,
I was just, like...
‐ Yeah. ‐ Really feeling
a lot of things that night
I got overwhelmed by.
‐ Yeah, I get, like,
where you're coming from
where it's like‐‐like, you‐‐
you spend more time with them.
Like, you're in the house with
them, and they're your friends,
and it's like, this process
isn't easy for anybody.
So what do you need from me
to feel like I want you here
and I don't want you
to go anywhere?
‐ Um, let's see. ‐
‐ There's a rose up there.
I'm just kidding.
‐ If it's really meant to be
at the end,
like, nothing can change that,
even, you know, five new girls
showing up, you know...
‐ I agree.
‐ And, like,
if we're both feeling this,
then, like, that's
all that matters, you know?
I did have some worries
in the back of my mind,
but I knew it was just because
I hadn't talked to him
in so long,
and, like, yeah.
I mean, I just feel
so much better now
after talking to him.
It's like a complete reset,
you know?
I'm, like, shaking and...
so hot.
‐ I think that we were all
nervous going into this date...
‐ Oh, my God.
The amount of anxiety I had
going into this date,
like, I just can't even explain.
‐ So we're like, "All right.
We did it. We survived."
‐ Yeah, literally.
‐ I just need time with him.
‐ So how are you feeling?
‐ Good. ‐ Good.
‐ I, um... I feel like
I could do a better job
of letting you know
how much I like you
and like being around you.
‐ That's really funny
that you say that,
'cause that's exactly
what I was gonna tell you.
I mean, being vulnerable,
like, about my feelings
is probably one of the hardest
things for me to do.
Like, growing up,
always kind of saw that
as a sign of weakness,
but for me,
that's, like, removed
because I really like you,
and, like, every time I see you,
I smile, and every time...
‐ I see that.
‐ Damn it! I like you.
‐ Well, for not
sharing feelings,
I feel like you're doing
a really good job.
‐ I'm trying.
‐ We're on the same page.
‐ I like that.
‐ On the date today,
tension was high,
and, um, you know,
it's always tough
to end the night
on a note like that,
but we've moved on,
and this night's off
to a great start,
and so I just want
to keep it going.
‐ Oh, my God, when
those new girls showed up,
I was like, "This is.
I haven't even had time yet."
‐ I know.
‐ I gave up so much to be here
to, like, not get time already,
and then, like, that extra
walked in.
I was just like, "This sucks."
‐ Brittany is like straight up
, like, serial‐killer weird.
‐
‐ She's just weird.
‐ Also, she could be an escort.
‐ Yeah. Whore.
And then Catalina's the dumbest
ho I've ever met.
I definitely don't see her
lasting.
I don't know. ‐ Yeah.
‐ I'm ready to steal
my man's heart back,
and then the new girls came in.
‐ And then the new girls.
‐ I was like...
‐ They call came in
pretty strongly too.
‐ Yeah.
‐ It was a little too cocky.
‐ These girls
just kind of swoop in,
so yeah, it did feel like
a slap in the face.
‐ It was annoying
that Michelle is just
still getting that time.
‐ She was like, you know,
"I'm gonna use this time
to see if I like Matt,"
and I was like...
‐ Pffft!
‐ "You're getting a whole day
"to figure out if you like Matt
"when girls have now decided
they like Matt
and know they like Matt."
‐ Don't come in here and tell me
you deserve the one‐on‐one,
'cause you do not know,
and don't tell me
you get what it's like,
'cause you don't get it. ‐ Yeah.
‐ That's just another thing
of them just being ignorant.
‐ I feel like‐‐I get it,
we're entitled to our feelings,
but at the end of the day,
they live with us,
and I would hate to be
on their side of this.
And so the continuous,
like, digs‐‐
at some point,
we gotta kind of get over it
and welcome them into the house
a little bit.
‐ ‐ Yeah.
I totally‐‐
I know what you mean.
I just love us. That's all.
‐ I really do.
‐ It's all the varsity squad
here tonight.
I really appreciate that.
‐ The environment here
hasn't been the best,
especially for the new girls,
and I've tried my best
to stand up‐‐
you know,
being the devil's advocate
when things
are being discussed‐‐
and it just
isn't really working.
But Matt, he doesn't know
anything about it,
and I think
he'd be pretty shocked
to hear the things
that they're saying,
and I'm gonna let him know.
‐ Can I borrow you for a second?
‐ Yes.
‐ Hi. ‐ Hi.
‐ Sorry, I don't wanna mess up
like part of your night,
but it would probably
be a good time
to, I don't know,
address some of the bullying
that's kind of been happening
in the house.
And it's‐‐it's hard for me
to keep trying
to stand up for these women
when we have this,
like, mob mentality.
‐ Right.
‐ I will admit‐‐ in this room‐‐
that, like, I was not the most
respectful person to them.
‐ Pieper!
‐ Jokes that are not the nicest.
‐ The house just needs
to be better.
It's just a toxic environment,
and there's
some pretty bad rumors
that are starting
about the new girls
that literally
could ruin their lives.
Not even exaggerating.
‐ Territory is territory.
You don't want people coming in
and disrupting that.
And that sounds very warlike,
but it's just kind of, like,
who I am.
‐ I just figured, tomorrow,
everyone's together in one room.
You could address it,
and coming from you,
I think it would just
mean a lot more to them.
‐ I hear it,
and that's something
that I'll never stand for
and I'm gonna address tomorrow.
‐ Yeah.
‐ When Katie mentioned
that the bullying rumors
could potentially ruin
this woman's life...
I had to take a step back,
because for me, it's bigger‐‐
now it's bigger
than our relationship.
It's‐‐it's their family,
it's their career,
and I don't want that
for anybody.
‐ Sorry to bring it up.
‐ No, no. Thank you.
‐ You know, and not
take too much time, and‐‐
‐ No, that's important.
I need to have
these conversations.
‐ Yeah. ‐ Thank you.
‐ All right. Have a good night.
‐ You too.
Who's spreading these rumors,
and why?
And the fact that somebody
in the house
thinks that
they're gonna be able
to bully their way
to my heart...
that's not how it works.
It's not something that I want
to be a part of this journey,
and I need to get
to the bottom of it,
so better believe
I'm gonna bring it up.
‐ Next week on "The Bachelor"...
‐ I didn't sign up
to be bullied.
‐ People have said
disrespectful things.
‐ If you're having
to belittle someone else
for you to shine,
then those aren't the qualities
I'm looking for in my wife.
‐ There shouldn't be
any disrespect,
and there has been.
‐ I'm always playful.
It was never malicious.
‐ I feel horrible.
‐ Those apologies... ‐
‐ Are not sincere.
She needs to go home.
‐ I owe it to these women
to create a safe space for them,
and that's what I'm gonna do.
‐ You put my character
in question.
‐ That's complete.
‐ I feel like you're deflecting.
‐ I don't give a anymore.
‐ You have to own up
to things that you've done.
‐ I need to sit down.
‐ Oh, my God. ‐ What? What?
‐ The drama continues next week
on "The Bachelor."
‐ The more I get to know you,
like...
‐ Yeah. ‐ I am the k‐‐
I'm serious.
I like to be serious
when I'm serious.
I like to be‐‐I'm goofy.
I like dancing.
‐ Yes. ‐ I love dance.
I think life without dancing
is boring.
‐ Are we gonna dance right now?
‐ Uh, not me.
I just wanna see you to dance.
‐ You wanna see me dance?
‐ Yes. ‐ Okay.
Sweet. ‐ Oh!
‐ You ready? ‐ I am.
I'm so ready.
‐ And this is the judgment‐‐
this is the judgment‐free zone.
‐ Oh, I promise.
‐ Okay, good. ‐ You got it. Okay
‐ You ready? ‐ Okay.
What do you want me to do?
I'm just gonna look.
‐ You just vibe.
I'm gonna do my thing now.
‐ Thank you. ‐ You ready?
‐ Okay. ‐ It goes like this.
‐ Okay.
‐ That's all I got.
‐ That's great. That's great.
I... ‐
way to find me and tell me,
"Oh, my God.
Watch out for this girl."
‐ In what regard?
Like, watch out with her, how?
‐ That she may be an escort.
‐
‐ I'd heard rumors that...
she's entertaining men
for money.
‐ A shocking new episode
of "The Bachelor"
starts right now.
‐ Today was tough.
Sarah left,
and it's‐‐it hurts, you know?
It's never easy when you put
who you are out there‐‐
everything you've been through,
where you're going,
everything
that's wrong with you‐‐
and someone realizes
that you're not their person.
It's‐‐it's hard,
'cause I really felt something
with Sarah
in the time
that we spent together.
And we talked
about a lot of stuff
that I hadn't shared
with anybody,
and what if there
are gonna be more women
that don't want to be a part
of my journey?
Um, it's‐‐that's
a really scary feeling.
‐ Like, Sarah left,
so, like, bye.
Like, relationships are hard,
and if you're telling me
the first time things get hard,
you pack your bags... ‐ Yeah.
‐ I'm already like... ‐ Bye.
‐ "Peace." ‐ Yeah.
‐ Just the trash
took itself out.
‐ Can you stop, seriously?
She's gone; there's no point
to keep talking about her
or saying negative things.
‐ No, I won't stop, Katie.
I'll do whatever the I want.
‐ Okay, well, you can keep
being toxic and rude about it.
‐ I'm not toxic.
‐ She's just not here.
What's the point?
‐ Oh, my God.
Shut up, Katie, literally.
‐ Victoria seems to thrive
on being mean to other girls.
To me, it's kind of a reflection
on maybe her insecurities,
you know?
I don't care
who's here and who's not.
I'm focused on me
and my connection with Matt.
‐ I wonder what this is gonna
mean for your group date.
‐ I just hope it doesn't
fog him up
for the rest of the day...
‐ Today. ‐ Yeah.
‐ And for the rest of the date
or the night.
‐ Yeah. ‐ Yeah.
‐ Hi. ‐ How's it going?
‐ Good. ‐ We made it.
‐ Whoo!
‐ Let me get the door
for you all, ladies.
‐ Oh, thank you.
‐ Thank you.
‐ Aw, pretty. ‐ Right?
‐ Hearing that Sarah
was leaving this morning,
I was definitely anxious
that Matt could end up,
you know, canceling the date,
but he didn't.
I've always been a big believer
that everything happens
for a reason,
and everything happens
in the right timing,
and tonight's a chance
to show Matt
that I'm here for him.
‐ The day, for me,
started out a little rough.
We had someone who‐‐who left us,
but that allows me time
to focus on relationships
that are heading
in the right direction.
Um...
let's enjoy this night,
and to learning
about each other.
‐ Yes. ‐ Cheers.
‐ Cheers to that. ‐ Cheers.
‐ Matt, can I grab you?
Can we go outside?
‐ Absolutely.
‐ I saw today what happens
when someone can't handle this.
Like, I'm not here
to just, like,
turn around and run
'cause things got hard.
Like, things that are worth
fighting for, like, take time,
and it's not going to be easy,
but, like,
I don't need easy.
I just need time with Matt.
How are you dealing
with all this?
Like, you don't have to, like,
dive too deep.
I'm like‐‐
‐ Just trying to be real?
Like, just being real
as possible, like,
this is stressful, you know?
It's a lot going on... ‐ Mm‐hmm.
‐ And I appreciate
that you realize that
and you're thinking about me.
‐ I'm here for you,
and I do check in on you,
'cause I'm like‐‐
I'm considering your feelings.
Like, I worry about you,
and, like,
this is hard. ‐ Mm.
This morning started out
extremely difficult.
It kind of has me questioning,
am I doing the right thing
in letting my guard down
and being this open
with these women?
Can they handle it?
‐ How are you? ‐ I'm good. Um...
‐ Yeah? You okay?
‐ I don't‐‐yeah.
‐ Good. ‐ I, like, try to...
compartmentalize everything,
you know?
‐ Mm‐hmm.
‐ It's like, that happened,
and we've addressed it...
‐ Yeah.
‐ And I'm focused on you
and everyone who's here.
‐ I appreciate that.
‐ But thank you for‐‐for asking.
‐ Yeah, I mean, I wanna
make sure you're okay too.
I mean, I'm sure
it's a lot for you.
Um... ‐ Yeah.
It's pretty encouraging
to hear these women
tell me that
they're here for me,
which is what we all want,
right?
We all want positive affirmation
and someone wanting
to be with you and around you.
Up until this point,
is this what you thought
it was gonna be
before you got here?
‐ I honestly did not think
I was gonna make it
past the first night.
Just the fact that, like,
you saw me,
and, like, we hit it off
right away, like,
I'm, like, still riding,
like, on that high,
to be honest.
‐ Even though the day
may have started off
kind of difficult
and extremely challenging...
‐ Surprise! ‐ Oh, man.
‐ And it matches me
and everything.
‐ These women overwhelmingly
reassured me
about why I'm here
and made it easy.
The more I get to know
these women,
the more I'm intrigued
by their story
and the possibility
of ending up with one of 'em.
‐ So this is me and my mom.
Me with hair.
‐ That's your mom? ‐ Yeah.
But, um, I don't know.
I was showing everybody
these pictures before,
and they're like, "Oh, my God,
"I can't believe
you look like that with hair.
You look like
a different person."
‐ I think you look great
both ways.
‐ I mean, thanks.
‐ Yeah, no, I like your hair.
‐ Thank you. I don't know.
I think people don't realize
how emotional hair can be...
‐ Yeah.
‐ Especially, like,
for Black women...
‐ Yeah. ‐ Just because, like,
I literally had been,
like, chemically
straightening my hair
since I was two years old.
Like, all my friends are white,
my school was white...
‐ Yep, yep.
‐ And I didn't even feel
comfortable, like,
leaving my house
without my hair being straight.
Like, there were times
I just had so‐‐
like, so much anxiety
and stress about, like,
what people were gonna think.
It's definitely
a unique experience
that Black women have
with their hair...
‐ Yeah.
‐ But‐‐ ‐ I can't imagine.
‐ Yeah, it's‐‐it's a lot.
So when I finally decided
to shave it, it was, like,
such an emotionally, like,
freeing experience.
‐ Uh, thank you
for sharing this with me.
‐ Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Of course. No, like‐‐
‐ Um, you do look amazing.
‐ Thank you.
‐ The first time I saw you,
you got out of the limo.
I was just like, "Damn."
You had the bam‐bam dress
on for me.
‐ I had to, like, give you
a "wow" moment.
I'm like... ‐
Well, every time
you come in the room
is a "wow" moment. ‐ Thanks.
‐ Katie. ‐ Yeah.
‐ Could you come talk to me,
please?
Um, so I just really didn't like
when you shut me down
during group conversation,
and I feel like you've done
that on multiple occasions.
‐ Are you talking about today
when you were calling Sarah
names?
‐ When I said,
"The trash took itself out."
I just would love
an apology, because...
‐ You're not gonna get
an apology.
‐ You told me to stop
when I wasn't done
expressing myself.
‐ Expressing yourself
and name‐calling
are two different things.
‐ Um, well,
I can do whatever I want...
‐ Yeah.
‐ And I can express myself
with name‐calling
when I choose to.
‐ If that's how
you wanna express yourself,
and you wanna
be toxic and rude...
‐ And if‐‐yeah. ‐ Go for it.
‐ And if you wanna express
yourself with your dildo
and think you're ready
for an engagement...
you can do that.
Sure‐‐ ‐ I love my vibrator,
so I don't know
what you're trying to do,
like, coming at me about, like,
"your vibrator."
Like, I'm very confident
in what I want to do
with my life,
and it's showing
how insecure you are.
‐ I'm not insecure
nor attacking you, Katie.
‐ So what are you trying
to accomplish
with this conversation?
Like, what's the point?
‐ I mean, I think it's rude,
the way you speak to me.
‐ If you're being a bitch,
I'm gonna tell you
you're being a bitch...
‐ Um, I'm not being a bitch.
‐ Always.
Okay.
‐ I think you are a bitch, and‐‐
‐ I speak my mind.
If you're gonna be rude
to someone,
especially someone
who's not here,
I'm gonna call you out
and tell you it's unnecessary.
‐ I mean, if you try
to shut me down again...
I probably wouldn't.
‐ I don't know
what you tell you about that.
I'm not gonna apologize to you.
‐ There was a lot about tonight
that I enjoyed.
Um, MJ, how you were open
about everything
and how honest you were with me.
I like that a lot.
Abigail, what you shared with‐‐
about what you were looking for,
it really resonated with me,
but there is only one rose.
Chelsea...
will you accept this rose?
‐ Yes. Thank you.
‐ Absolutely. ‐
It feels special
that Matt chose me
out of everybody.
It was a big moment for me,
and I just‐‐
I mean, I couldn't do this
in front of the other girls,
but, like, aah!
I got the rose! Eek!
‐ I'm gonna get out of here.
I will see you all tomorrow,
but thank you all
for another amazing evening,
and have a great
rest of the night.
‐ No, I'm super happy
for Chelsea,
but it is disappointing.
You know, you want that rose,
'cause it just means you're
safe until the next week.
‐ Bye.
‐ I think it will be intense
tomorrow at the Rose Ceremony.
Who knows how many people
are gonna be sent home?
And I just feel like
there's, like,
a storm, like, waiting to brew.
‐ Matt, I need to talk to you
right now.
‐ ‐ Oh, my God.
‐
‐ The word "escort"
is being thrown around.
‐ The room just exploded.
‐ I'd heard rumors...
she's entertaining men
for money.
‐ Slut. Whore.
‐ I'm so upset. I'm done.
‐ We're going into our third
Rose Ceremony.
There are three women
with roses,
out of the 18 of us,
now that Sarah's gone.
Serena P. has one
from her one‐on‐one,
Rachael, from our group date,
and, of course, Chelsea,
from last night.
‐ I really do feel like
the energy shifted.
Much better than last week.
‐ And I think we all saw
how much, like, us
just getting at each other
for dumb things
affected Matt last week,
and I think we're all ready
to, like, not repeat that.
So... ‐ I agree.
I'm feeling so good today.
I'm ready to talk to Matt.
I'm gonna pull him first,
especially since I didn't
get time last week.
I have heard that, like,
Anna wants to go first,
but, like, that's not happening.
Sorry, Anna.
I'm Elsa, and you're Anna.
So let it go, bitch.
I'm going first.
‐ Whoo! ‐ Hey!
‐ What's going on? ‐ Hi.
‐ How we doing? ‐ Good.
‐ Thank you.
You all look incredible...
‐ Thanks.
‐ And what an incredible week
we had.
I came into this
looking for a wife,
and at the end of this,
I'm hoping
to get down on one knee
and ask the love of my life
to marry me.
I just wanted you all
to leave tonight
feeling reassured
that I'm here for you all.
Here's to a great night.
Here's to continued
relationships and...
‐ Cheers! ‐ Finding love.
Cheers.
‐ This week
was like a reality check.
We had Sarah leaving.
That was tough, but, uh,
we bounced back and had
a great rest of the week.
You look pretty. ‐ Thank you.
‐ Going into tonight,
I'm very hopeful,
and I'm looking forward
to a lot of quality time
with these women tonight.
‐ I was really excited
to see you tonight.
I know that we just got
to spend some time together
yesterday, but I'm just excited
to see you.
‐ Yeah, no, I, uh...
the more time we spend together,
the more and more
I'm enjoying you
and who you actually are. ‐
Thank you. ‐ You know?
'Cause, like,
I feel like I was‐‐
I was trying to break
through the barrier.
Like, you're like
such a strong woman,
and it's like you‐‐you have,
like, your mom,
who's like the head
of y'all's household...
‐ Mm‐hmm. ‐ And you've got
these two sisters who have
strong personalities...
‐ Yeah. ‐ And, um, I feel like
I'm slowly getting into, like...
‐ Just chipping away‐‐yeah.
‐ Who Pieper is.
‐ I mean, yeah. Yeah.
I mean, I love to hear that,
like, you have a strong mother,
so you know
what strong women look like,
because I'm not someone
to back down.
Um, I'm never gonna, like,
compromise who I am
for anybody. ‐ I see that.
‐ I don't know if you can tell.
‐ I see that. ‐ Um...
so I'm really enjoying the time
that we're spending together.
So... ‐ Me too.
‐ I'm just really happy.
‐ I want to have the time
with Matt
to explore romance
and friendship,
and so I just want, like,
time to explore it.
‐ We're all taking risks
and really trying our best
to put ourselves out there
and put our best foot forward.
Four out of five of us
have not talked to him yet,
but the night is young.
‐ I know. ‐ Yeah, I'm excited.
I feel like we're on a steady,
positive train right now,
so I hope that continues, um,
and I hope
I get to see him soon.
I know the majority of us
sitting here
haven't had time,
so hopefully, you know,
we'll get that soon.
‐ Mm‐hmm. I agree.
‐ I feel the chemistry's there,
for sure...
‐ Yeah. ‐ And I think, for me,
it's like, the harder part
is going deeper.
‐ I'm here, and I'm ready,
and I'm gonna be patient
with you,
'cause, like, I don't know
if it's evident or not,
but I love being around you.
And I want you to think about...
like what we would look like.
Like, what, like,
a relationship‐‐
‐ We would look good.
‐ I like being around Kit
so much.
She is continuing to impress me,
and it's exciting to be around
such a smart, beautiful
group of women.
The thing I respect most
about you
is you're yourself,
and you don't care
what other people think,
and I saw that night one... ‐
‐ And you stuck to that.
You took the most
unconventional approach
of all the women,
and I love that.
‐ Oh, my gosh. ‐ It was great.
‐ ‐ It was great.
Like you said, like you're not
trying to be in the back.
You're‐‐you want to be seen...
‐ Yeah.
‐ And I'm seeing you,
and I like what I see.
‐ Oh, I'm glad.
‐ I really look forward
to every conversation I have,
because that could potentially
be my wife.
I can't help how I feel...
‐ Yeah.
‐ And what I felt with you
is real.
‐ I want to give you
that reassurance.
Are we going on another
one‐on‐one?
‐ The more time I'm spending
with these ladies,
the stronger my connections
are growing,
and... it's working.
‐ And, like, I feel
overwhelmed with emotions
because it's, like, hard
that I haven't, like,
had time with you.
‐ What's the hardest part
about it?
‐ I'm used to, like,
knowing if a guy is interested
in me, so it's, like, scary.
‐ Yeah.
Well, how can I help you
with that?
‐ Mm...
‐ And you don't have to give me
an answer now,
but, kind of like what
I told you inside was, like,
I wanna be that person
that gives...
‐ Hey, guys.
‐ Everyone a chance.
‐ Hello. ‐ Victoria,
I am sorry to interrupt, but...
‐ No worries.
‐ Matt, I need to talk to you
right now.
‐ Okay. ‐ Okay.
‐ Thanks.
‐ I'll talk to you
in a little bit.
‐ Hey, bud. ‐ Hey.
‐ How you doing? ‐ Good.
‐ Good to see you. ‐ You too.
‐
It's so hard to open up to Matt
and talk about things
when there's constant change
and new things happening.
I'm like, "I can't even
communicate my one thought."
Thank you, Chris Harrison.
I was in the middle
of a sentence.
Ugh!
I don't wanna feel this annoyed,
but I am.
‐ Oh, wait a minute.
‐ That looks serious. ‐ Oh.
‐ Oh. ‐ Oh, no.
‐ What? What? Tell me.
‐ Chris Harrison and Matt
just walked in. ‐ Oh.
‐ What the heck? Will you look?
We see Matt and Chris Harrison
making a beeline
for the front door.
You feel the energy shift.
You feel that things
are different.
‐ Why is Chris Harrison here?
‐ Wait, wait, wait.
Can we go look?
‐ What is it, Serena?
‐ They're walking off.
They're walking.
‐ Is Sarah out there? ‐ Is she?
‐ Oh, wait, wait. Is Sarah here?
‐ Are you joking? ‐ I knew it.
‐ Stop.
‐ I think there's a lot
of speculation in the house
that Sarah might be back.
‐ So...
the ultimate goal here
is for you to meet the woman
of your dreams,
and maybe you have already,
but maybe not.
‐ Is Sarah here?
‐ You don't think so?
‐ Who else would it be?
Why else would he be going
outside?
‐ I know.
If she comes walking in
right now...
‐ Oh, it's happening. ‐ Yeah.
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ Because you were the Bachelor,
we had a record response
from women who wanted
to be on this show.
‐ Right.
‐ And to that end,
there are some more
incredible women...
that are dying to meet you
and want a shot
at falling in love with you...
And they're arriving right now.
‐
‐ So, Matt,
let the journey continue.
‐
‐ If it is Sarah... ‐ It's her.
‐ No. ‐ No, it's not.
‐ No, he's pulling up.
There's a car.
‐ But I'm like,
there has to be something‐‐
‐ No, it's her.
There's no other way.
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ Open the door!
‐ If it is Sarah...
‐ No, it's her.
There's no other way.
‐ Who is it? ‐ Is it her?
No.
‐ It's someone with dark hair.
‐ Hey! ‐ Hi.
‐ What's up, Matt?
‐ How you doing?
‐ It is so great
to finally meet you.
‐ Nice to meet you as well.
‐ My name is Brittany,
I am from Chicago,
but enough of all that.
I want to make up for lost time.
‐ Who is that?
‐ Is she kissing him?
‐ Ew. Ew, ew, ew.
‐ This isn't fair.
‐ ‐ I'll see you inside.
‐ Nice to meet you.
‐ I feel disrespected.
‐ I wanna vomit.
‐ Ew, why is she walking
like she owns this?
‐ You guys! ‐ What happened?
‐ There's a new girl
that just showed up.
‐ You're kidding.
‐ I'm not kidding.
I'm not kidding.
‐ What do you mean,
"a new girl"?
I'm, like, actually
about to cry.
That's not fair.
‐ Oh, Lord, have mercy.
This is like too much to handle.
‐ Victoria comes out
and tells us
that there's girls
pulling up in cars.
One of them made out with him
right out of the car.
Like, yeah.
Sucks.
‐ I'm definitely thrown off.
I'm pissed off right now.
Um, I don't like
what's happening.
‐ I'm shocked.
‐ She's not welcome.
She's not welcome!
- ‐ Hey!
- Hi...
‐ Surprise!
‐ Yeah, surprise.
‐ I'm Brittany.
Nice to meet you.
I am a little late,
but I'm here with a couple
other people, so...
‐ A what? ‐ A few more?
‐ Yeah, there's a couple more
coming in the car.
I don't know how many.
‐ So you quarantined
and then just stayed
in your room as a backup,
and now you're coming in
as like a backup
'cause some girls left?
‐ Um, no.
They just wanted
to save the best for last.
‐ Mm, no, I don't think so.
‐ Okay. ‐ Okay, come over here.
‐ That's cool. ‐ Grab a seat.
‐ You will feel uncomfortable
pretty soon.
‐ What was your entrance?
‐ I told him I wanted to make up
for last‐‐like, lost time,
and then I made out with him.
So...
‐ That's farther
than I've been with him, so...
‐ Brittany interrupted me
to make out with Matt.
"Slore."
Slut. Whore.
‐ We've been forming
these connections with Matt,
and we've been, like,
on this journey already,
so it's very shocking,
um, to the system,
and, yeah, I don't think
a lot of us are okay with it.
‐
Hi.
‐ Hi. ‐ How are you doing?
‐ I'm doing well.
‐ Oh, my goodness.
It's so nice to see you.
‐ Good to see you too.
What‐‐what's your name?
‐ Michelle.
‐ Michelle? Matt. ‐ Yes.
Nice to meet you.
‐ I'm happy you're here.
‐ So nice to see you.
‐ And where are you coming from?
‐ I'm from Minnesota.
‐ You're from Minnesota? ‐ Yes.
‐ I haven't heard
the accent yet.
‐ No! Well, you'll hear it.
‐ I'll hear it?
‐ You'll hear it, I promise.
‐ Okay.
Well, you look incredible.
‐ So‐‐thank you.
I appreciate it.
It's so nice to see you.
‐ It's nice to see you as well.
‐ This is so frustrating.
This is so disrespectful...
‐ This is so annoying.
‐ For the girls
who have been here.
I'm really having a mental
breakdown right now.
You would be pissed
if you haven't
talked to the man
you're here to date,
and new girls just walked in.
‐ Hi! ‐ Hi.
‐ Hi, Matt. ‐ What's your name?
‐ Ryan. ‐ Nice to meet you.
‐ It's nice to meet you too.
‐ Why do you get to come in
halfway through,
like, fresh‐faced?
I don't want them here.
Go home.
Ugh.
‐ I'm Kimberly.
Nice to meet you.
‐ Nice to meet you as well.
‐ I'm not watching this.
I'm done.
I need to be in a good
mental state to talk to him,
and I just feel so pissed off.
‐ Hi! I'm Kimberly!
Nice to meet you guys.
‐ I just‐‐how many?
When does it stop?
‐ I literally have like PTSD
from night one right now.
It's just like never‐ending.
‐ I'm Catalina.
‐ Catalina. ‐ Yes.
So I'm from Puerto Rico,
and I also had the privilege
to be Miss Puerto Rico Universe.
But what I want to tell you
is that now I'm here
to hopefully become the queen
of your universe.
‐ I like that.
‐ Oh, my God!
‐ Hi, everyone!
‐ Who the are these
random‐ass hos
coming into the house?
Catalina, come here.
I would love to meet you.
‐ Okay.
I mean, I‐‐of course. ‐ Uh‐oh.
‐ I'll go over there.
‐ I'm gonna scoot over.
‐ Are you a former Miss,
or, like‐‐
‐ Yeah, so I'm Victoria,
like the queen...
‐ Okay. ‐ And so I think
I should have that crown,
actually.
‐ Oh, really? ‐ Yeah.
‐ I mean...
‐ Thank you.
- ‐ Victoria...
- ‐ Victoria.
‐ Victoria!
‐ Victoria! ‐ Victoria.
‐ The claws are out, man.
Like...
yikes.
‐ I think you're Elsa royalty
tonight.
I don't think Elsa
wears a crown.
‐ Okay, that's fine.
‐
Breathe.
Five more women
were added to the equation.
Now my head's spinning,
'cause I'm just like‐‐
I don't know what to think
at this point.
‐ This is new and exciting,
you know, candy for him.
Like, who's to say
he doesn't want to explore
all five of them?
‐ How do you tell women
who you're forming feelings for
that there are gonna
be more women
to take into consideration
and their time's gonna be...
even more scarce to come across?
‐ I'm super upset.
Like, I finally got time
with him,
and then it was interrupted.
‐ Will I not get time again?
It's very frustrating
and very annoying.
‐ It makes the decisions tougher
because you don't want
to miss out on somebody
because you don't know enough,
but there is a 100% chance
there will be hostility,
there's a 100% chance
there's gonna be drama,
and... I'm in trouble.
‐ I hate everything about this.
Right now, I want to leave.
This isn't fair.
I'm so upset.
I'm literally shaking right now.
‐ We're just processing.
‐ We're invested already,
so that's why
it's like so shocking.
‐ Yeah, I mean, but you guys
also had more time
than me, though, so...
‐ I'm so excited to finally
get some time...
‐ I would love
some time with Matt.
‐ After being here
for three weeks
and then get time taken away
and then get more time
taken away
by more girls coming in.
So I'm sorry, but I am...
not happy.
‐ Five new girls showed up.
How is that fair?
There are girls
that have been here
that still haven't got
a lot of time with him,
and now they're, like,
fighting with these new girls.
‐ But, like,
we might not make it
past this night because
there's new girl's here.
‐ I don't feel good.
Like, I'm not happy.
I am upset
about the entire thing.
I'm just very curious
to see how it's gonna work
with these new women
in the house,
because maybe he looks at them
like a shiny new toy.
So maybe the women
that have been here,
I mean, we might get put
to the back burner.
‐ Oh, my gosh! ‐ Hey.
‐ Hello! ‐ Hey.
‐ What's going on?
‐ How are you? ‐ I'm all right.
‐ What's going on?
‐ How‐‐how are y'all doing?
‐ Not great.
‐ Yeah. Um...
I'm still in shock, obviously.
Um...
It was a‐‐a nice surprise.
I'm‐‐we're happy to have you,
and I don't have a glass,
but I'm gonna propose a toast
to the‐‐the new arrivals.
Welcome, and, um,
I'm looking forward to getting
to know you all tonight,
so let's‐‐let's‐‐let's keep
it‐‐let's keep it moving.
‐ Can we finish our convo
outside?
‐ Yeah. Let's go. ‐ Okay.
‐ So‐‐
‐ Sorry. We are not trying to
make you feel uncomfortable
in any way right now.
‐ If you feel like an energy,
it's because a lot of us
are already very deeply invested
in our relationship with Matt.
‐ You know, we all
kinda want the same thing.
‐ Brittany‐‐
I, like, recognize her.
We're both from Chicago,
and she's, like, sketchy.
She's not here for Matt.
‐ Since you know
one of the girls,
do you see her as a threat
going forward?
‐ I don't see her
ever ending up with Matt.
Literally,
all I've been told about her
is that, like, her‐‐ she sucks.
‐ Okay. ‐ But, like, also,
I don't know her. ‐ Mm‐hmm.
‐ Um...
someone that, like,
made out with him right away.
‐ I feel like, too,
I was telling you, like,
I, in normal life,
like, run for things.
Like, I'll run for the hills.
‐ Yeah.
‐ And so it's hard to stay here
and, like, work through things,
but I think it would
be worth it, and, like,
I do think that you and I
would be a good match.
‐ Agreed.
‐ Bye. ‐ Bye.
Have fun with... mm... her.
‐ Hey, Matt.
I'm, like, so happy
I finally, like,
get to meet you.
‐ I know, I know.
‐ It's been
like so crazy in my room.
Like... ‐ I can't imagine.
‐ Another week without, like,
any human interaction.
‐ Yeah.
‐ I'm kind of going crazy.
And, plus, not a lot of
the girls were happy to see me.
I was like, "Oh, my God."
‐ No, I know.
‐ This is just like‐‐
I can talk to anybody,
but, like, I feel like there
was just a lot of tension.
‐ I would be incredibly upset
if I didn't have time.
To know that I could leave here
without laying it out
all on the table,
it will gut me,
and that's why
I have extreme anger.
Process is dwindling down,
he's really deciding who he
wants to spend his life with,
and now five girls
have entered into the equation.
‐ You said you had a big family.
So how many brothers
and sisters do you have?
‐ Well I only have one brother.
‐ Okay. Okay, okay.
‐ So... and he's younger.
He's 22. ‐ Okay.
‐ Matt,
forging new relationships
with all the new girls
is very triggering,
and it brings up
a lot of insecurities.
‐ I have a little doggy
named Bosley.
‐ What kind of dog?
‐ He's a shar‐pei.
And he drools all the time.
‐ He drools all over the place?
‐ All over the place.
‐ I'm pissed off right now
because these new girls
have come in
and hijacked the night.
‐ When I saw you,
I was like, "Oh, my Gosh."
Like... ‐
‐ You are way cuter in person.
‐ I want to know what Matt
is feeling right now.
I want to know
what he's thinking.
I mean, I'm sure he,
as the Bachelor,
is excited that there's
more women here
and more opportunity for him
to fall in love,
which is great for him.
At the same time, like,
I'm concerned about myself
and my feelings.
‐ I feel like I know, like,
a little bit of who you are.
‐ Just a little bit?
‐ You know, just a little bit.
‐ Yeah?
‐ But at the end of the day,
like, after this experience
is done,
are you
that down‐to‐earth person
who's gonna be there
for the people around you?
Like... ‐ Dang.
‐ That's what I'm looking for.
‐ Yeah, no. That's real.
‐ And, like, that's what I want.
‐ Like, I want to be
my most authentic self
so that... like,
you don't leave here like,
"That's not the person
that I met."
Like, you know what I mean?
‐ Absolutely. Yep.
‐ So it's difficult at times
because a lot of what we do
isn't normal,
but bear with me,
because I'm trying...
‐ I will, I will.
‐ And‐‐and I can't help
but not keep it together,
so, like, you're just gonna see
that I'm human,
just like everybody else.
‐ Yeah.
I mean, I'm looking for someone
who will change the world
with me,
and it seems like
you'd be a good one.
‐ I could be that.
I could be that. ‐ I think so!
‐ ‐ It seems like it, right?
‐ Yeah.
‐ I feel like we'd breed well.
‐ I like where your head's at.
‐ I'll just put it all
out there, right? ‐
‐ And if it's a small thing
like this that shakes me,
I'm just like‐‐I don't know.
‐ This isn't a small thing.
This is five new girls
with no new roses added.
‐ I just want the Rose Ceremony
to start.
I mean, there's still
like a chance
that, like, some of them
don't stay tonight.
‐ I wouldn't mind if he sent
one of them home, though.
‐ Yeah.
‐ Oh, no, I was thinking all.
‐
‐ Yes! ‐ Hello, everybody.
‐ Chris.
‐ And, uh, hello
to our‐‐our newcomers.
It's time for another
Rose Ceremony.
‐ Going into the Rose Ceremony,
the fact that there are five
new girls here tonight,
I'm obviously very upset
right now.
If these girls
showing up here tonight
is, uh, gonna jeopardize
my opportunity
at getting a rose,
yeah, that would sting a lot.
‐ I'm nervous
for the Rose Ceremony.
That's for sure.
We had five new ladies
joining the house,
but I would be hoping,
at this point,
that Matt is making
rose decisions
based on a relationship
he's already formed
rather than, like, fresh face.
‐ Matty. ‐ Chris.
‐ How you doing, man?
‐ The last thing
I was expecting tonight
was to have five incredible
women join this journey.
‐ To come in such
a hostile environment,
I'm just, like,
kind of taken back
by how like angry everyone was,
but I probably have
a stronger relationship
within the first five minutes
of talking to him
than a lot of these girls.
‐ You know,
the room was extremely tense.
I can only imagine that
that's gonna intensify
as I start to have
more interactions
with these new women
and potentially form feelings,
so I don't know
what to think right now.
‐ Right. You ready to head in?
‐ I am. ‐ All right.
I'll see you in there.
‐ Thank you, Chris.
‐ Ladies, I wanted
to thank you all again
for an incredible evening
and, again,
welcome the‐‐the new ladies
who have joined this journey.
I can imagine it's been
difficult for you all,
and I continue
to challenge everyone
to be vulnerable
and trust the process,
and everything's
gonna work itself out.
MJ.
‐ Excuse me.
‐ MJ, will you accept this rose?
‐ Of course.
‐ Pieper.
Pieper, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Of course.
Thank you.
‐ Bri.
Bri, will you accept this rose?
‐ Yeah. Yes.
‐ We had 18 girls
going into the night,
and now we have 23.
‐ Magi.
Magi, will you accept this rose?
‐ Yes.
‐ I'm worried, honestly,
about the possibility
that Matt has started
to form the idea
of, like,
"Oh, new, shiny stuff."
‐ Michelle.
Michelle, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Absolutely. Thank you.
‐ These girls have barged in
on our night
and barged in on our process
and our relationships with Matt.
‐ Mari.
‐ Excuse me.
‐ Mari, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Of course. Thank you.
‐ Again, tonight,
I had no time with Matt.
I'm kind of envious
seeing these new girls come in
and automatically get roses.
‐ Ryan.
‐ Excuse me.
‐ Ryan, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes. Thank you.
‐ It's just another way
of fueling my frustration,
again.
‐ Kit.
Kit, will you accept this rose?
‐ Of course.
‐ But I refuse to let it
get the better of me.
For me, it's like
I've done enough crying.
‐ Serena C.
Serena, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes.
‐ Abigail.
Abigail, will you accept
this rose?
‐ I will.
‐ For a few girls to come in,
it's extremely hard to process.
‐ Katie.
‐ Excuse me.
Katie, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Absolutely.
‐ Time was taken away from folks
to build a relationship
with Matt.
Ugh.
It's just‐‐
it's very frustrating.
‐ Victoria.
Victoria, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes. Of course. Thank you.
‐ Knowing
you're on the chopping block
and then to have five more
girls walk in,
it just‐‐it doesn't
sit right with me.
‐ Lauren.
‐ Excuse me.
‐ Lauren, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes.
‐ It sucks, too,
because us girls
have been in the house
for three weeks.
‐ Brittany.
Brittany, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Absolutely.
‐ I'm pissed!
I'm so mad. I'm so...
‐
‐
‐ Jessenia.
Jessenia, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes.
‐ So it's just a lot.
‐ Anna.
Anna, will you accept this rose?
‐ Of course.
‐ Ladies, Matt,
this is the final rose tonight.
When you're ready. ‐ Thank you.
‐ Catalina.
‐ Sorry, ladies.
‐ Catalina, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Yes, of course I will.
Thank you. ‐ Yeah.
‐ Ladies, I'm sorry.
If you did not receive a rose,
take a moment.
Say your goodbyes.
‐ Bye, babies.
‐ Aw, girl.
Bye.
‐ Bye.
‐ Bye, girls. Love you.
‐ Bye.
I hope you find
all the happiness.
‐ Thank you.
‐ It's just
kind of disheartening.
With the new girls here,
there's already kind of a divide
between the "OGs,"
like, the original group,
and the new girls.
‐ It was nice meeting you.
‐ Likewise.
‐ If one of the new girls
gets a one‐on‐one,
everyone's gonna be pissed.
Like, everyone's
gonna be pissed.
It's gonna be such.
‐ To new beginnings
and going on this journey,
and to Matt
finding his future wife.
Cheers.
‐ These girls just don't get it.
Like, they think
it's gonna be a cakewalk,
and it's just like,
pump your brakes.
I think they're just naive
to what they're walking into.
They have no idea.
‐ To love. ‐ To love.
Cheers.
‐ Game on.
‐ We can't let the newbies
come and take our spots.
‐ The dynamic is aggressive.
- ‐ These girls have no idea.
- ‐
‐ I know some dirt on you.
‐ The word "escort"
is being thrown around.
‐ I'd heard rumors...
she's entertaining men
for money.
‐
‐ Good morning.
‐ Good morning!
‐ Hi, Chris Harrison.
‐ Hello.
Um, we did have some newcomers
last night,
which made things
a little interesting.
‐ ‐ Welcome...
Thank you. ‐ To the ladies
that are new here. ‐ Thank you.
‐ Uh, what was it like
walking in last night?
‐ It was, like,
really intimidating.
‐ I definitely
was a little bit shocked
that it was gonna be so tense
and it was gonna be so awkward.
‐ Last night
was so freaking hard.
Like, Matt gave four out of
five of the new girls roses,
so the new girls
are definitely coming in hot,
and that's why
I'm gonna show them
that I am queen of the castle
and the kingdom,
and hopefully,
the newbies feel the pressure
and drop like flies.
‐ Whether you have been here
since night one
or if last night
was your night one,
it's all about finding love.
For some of you,
I have your first date card,
and I'll see you all very soon.
‐ Bye. ‐ See you.
‐ I'm definitely hoping
to hear my name.
It is an opportunity
to have time with Matt,
so to have these new girls
disrupt that dynamic
that we have is scary.
‐ Mari.
Bri. ‐ Mm.
‐ Abigail.
Brittany.
‐ Yay!
‐ Ryan.
Catalina.
Magi.
Anna.
Victoria.
"Let's fall in love. Matt."
‐ I'm excited. I'm ready.
I was, like, anticipating
if my name was gonna
be on the card or not,
and when I heard it,
it felt really nice.
Let's get it.
‐ When we get the date card
and we realize
that there's three new girls
on our date,
including Brittany,
I'm annoyed, because honestly,
she just walked in
trying to start stuff.
‐ Today should be fun.
‐ Like, go home.
‐ What's up, man?
‐ What's going on?
‐ Man, good to see you.
‐ Good to see you too.
‐ Last night was heavy,
and Ben Higgins is here
because I want his input
to make sure
that I'm doing not only right
by these women,
but I'm following my heart
through the process.
‐ Okay, so it's been hard.
‐ Yeah. Yeah.
Last night‐‐I don't know
if this has ever happened,
where you‐‐you‐‐
you leave a Rose Ceremony
with more women
than you went into it.
You know, it's like
I'm back to square one.
It's like,
I'm happy they're here,
but it's‐‐it's scary,
because, like,
what if the relationship there
is stronger than the ones
that I've already formed?
And‐‐and‐‐and what if
they're not,
and I could've put more time
into a relationship
that could've sprouted?
It's just...
‐ If I'm in your seat,
I'm‐‐I'm sitting there.
I'm going, "Okay, you have
kind of the old regime,
and now the new girls
coming in‐‐"
‐ "Old regime."
‐ How are you gonna
bring 'em together?
‐ Oh... I don't know.
‐ You've gotta continue to be
just your realest to them,
and you have to be giving
as much of yourself
that you possibly can.
‐ Yep.
‐ Uh, I've got a great day
for you planned.
I'm here alongside you
the whole time,
and, uh, today's
gonna be super interesting.
I know the ladies
are on their way.
‐ Talking to Ben Higgins
is great.
You know, I felt the tension
in the room yesterday,
and I just wanna make sure
that these women are focused
and our relationship
continues to progress,
so I'm putting
a lot of faith in Ben
that he's gonna handle
today's date.
It's gonna be a lot of fun.
‐ Hey! ‐ Hey, ladies.
‐ Ooh! ‐ Hi.
‐ My name is Ben.
It's been a bit, but, uh,
I was, at one point,
the Bachelor.
This is a beautiful fall day,
so Matt asked me to come here,
set up the Fall in Love Fest,
which is an obstacle course.
‐ Okay.
‐ Station number one
is the pumpkin race.
You're gonna get into
a 1,000‐pound pumpkins,
row across the lake to where
Matt will be waiting for you.
And it's a foot race
to station number two.
At Squirreling Around,
you're gonna put on
your squirrel costume.
Once you do that,
Find Your Acorn,
and carry it like a squirrel.
You're gonna walk
across the balance beam,
drop your acorn in the bucket,
and it's a foot race
to the finish.
And the winner of this
is gonna get
a very special prize.
‐ We have some new girls here,
so I'm gonna fight for Matt
and the prize at the end,
whatever that is.
‐ Oh‐ho‐ho!
‐ In the name of love,
three, two, one!
‐ Mine is not moving! ‐ Ah!
‐ It's craziness.
‐ Why am I going backwards?
‐
‐ This is fun,
but it's also my first date
with all the girls,
so I don't know
how competitive they are,
and I'm just gonna try my best.
All in the name of love!
‐ I'm impressed.
‐ Victoria, good job.
Good job, good job.
Magi, over here!
‐ Magi, this way!
‐ Come on, Magi!
‐ You gotta push yourself
through the water.
‐ It's not moving!
‐ Use your paddles!
‐ Victoria's the first.
‐ The new girls got damn lucky
that this was their first
group date.
‐ That's a hat.
‐ Everything's been pretty fun.
‐ How do I even...
‐ I'm feeling competitive.
The OGs need to win.
‐ All right, go, go, go!
Find your acorns!
‐ I don't see‐‐
‐ Find your acorns!
‐ Aah! ‐ Whose is that?
‐ I couldn't find my acorn!
‐ There we go.
‐ But I found Brittany's,
and then I hid it.
‐ I don't see...
‐ So that's good.
‐ Aah!
‐ I haven't found one. ‐ Oh!
‐ How we doing?
Where's the acorn?
Where's the acorn? Whose is it?
‐ Whose is it? ‐ I got mine!
Yes! ‐ Yes, Mari!
‐ I'm seeing, like,
the girls next to me
all, like, have their acorn.
Where the...
I literally couldn't find
my acorn anywhere.
Oh, my God.
‐ I'm trying!
‐ Mari! ‐ Yes, Mari!
‐ Drop the acorn, and it's
a foot race to the finish!
‐ Let's go, let's go!
Look for those acorns!
‐ I'm, like, scrambling
because maybe
the special surprise
is extra time with Matt...
‐ Where's the finish?
‐ Where's Mari?
‐ Come on, come on, come on!
‐ And next thing I know,
I already see Mari
running for the finish line.
‐ Come on!
Hey.
‐
‐ I'm so glad it was one
of the OG girls that won.
‐ Congratulations, Mari!
These nuts are yours.
‐ Thank you.
‐ The new girls
didn't really stand out,
in my eyes.
‐ All right, ladies, let's get
out of these squirrel outfits
and head to the afterparty.
‐ Oh, my God, I'd be so happy
to get this group date rose
to show these newbies
who the queen is.
‐ This is not fun!
‐ So what'd y'all think
about today?
That was fun, right? ‐ Yeah.
‐ Yes.
‐ No one fell out of
the pumpkins, which was nice.
‐ Thank God. ‐ Yeah.
‐ I was worried about that.
‐ I was nervous. ‐ But, um...
the most enjoyable thing for me
with the group dates
is the afterparty.
So to getting to know
each other better
and everyone
making it out alive today.
‐ Cheers.
‐ None of us wanted
to put on a squirrel costume,
but, like, it was fun,
but now it's like
I actually really need time
tonight.
‐ You wanna get out of here?
‐ Yeah.
‐ And Matt grabs me first,
which‐‐I'm like,
"Okay. Let's go."
I'm excited.
‐ You look incredible,
by the way.
‐ Thank you. So do you. ‐ Yeah.
‐ You always do.
Kind of have a little plan
in my head
of, like, what I wanna do,
what I wanna say,
and I really hope I get
the group date rose tonight.
Okay, so the first thing
you're gonna realize about me
is that, like, I'm awkward,
and that's why, like,
this situation just
kind of is like a lot for me.
‐ Yeah.
‐ Like, growing up in Minnesota,
I feel like we were always
outside doing things.
Um, like, I grew up boating,
water sports.
Like‐‐that's why
I was, like, kayaking.
"I got this, baby."
‐ You were crushing it today.
No.
‐ I was like, "I need to win."
‐ Hey. Can I talk to you?
‐ I'm actually
gonna try to keep him
for a couple more minutes,
if you don't mind.
‐ I know, but I, like, really
haven't talked to him at all.
‐ Um, if you could give me,
like, five,
he is yours, hon'.
‐ Okay. ‐ Yeah.
I'm ticked off.
Brittany's brand‐new.
She feels entitled to time.
I've been here for three weeks,
and I haven't had time.
Like, you can wait
your three weeks
and then talk to him.
I think we'd be great
if we would just get time.
‐ To that point, like,
what's things
that you wanted to tell me
that you feel like,
"If he just knew this,"
or, like,
"I wanted to share this"?
‐ Yeah.
Um...
‐ But all I'm thinking about
is her standing there
or interrupting
or interrupting again
in 30 seconds.
‐ Is it cool if I steal him now?
‐ Um, yeah, I'm gonna try
to grab you later
in the night, then.
‐ Okay. ‐ Okay.
It's just... disrespectful.
‐ Hey, Matt.
‐ What's up? ‐ How are you?
‐ I almost wanna be like,
"Yo, girl,
"like, I know some dirt on you.
Don't mess with me... please."
Literally, we were talking
for, like, five minutes,
and she came in, and I was like,
"No.
Can I get five more minutes?"
and it was like,
"No, I need him,"
and I was like...
‐ I mean, yeah.
Like, I'm not surprised.
Brittany lacks a lot of class. ‐
‐ Like, Brittany
made out with Matt
within two seconds
of meeting him.
It's, like, slutty. ‐ Yeah.
‐ That kiss we shared
when you first got out‐‐
‐ I know.
I'm just like‐‐I‐‐I felt like
I needed to kind of like
do something bold like that
in order for you
to just be like, "Okay..."
‐ I loved that. ‐ "This girl..."
‐ That was great. ‐ Okay, good.
‐ Being from Chicago,
where she is,
I'd heard rumors, and...
people have gone
out of their way to tell me,
"Oh, my God.
Watch out for this girl."
‐ In what regard?
Like, watch out with her, how?
‐ That she is entertaining men
for money.
‐
That's insane.
‐ It's all, like, ins‐‐
no one's sending my profile
being like,
"Watch out for this girl,"
like...
There is a rumor,
because she knows
all of the rich men in Chicago,
that Brittany may be an escort.
She may be having
a transactional relationship
with wealthy men.
‐ I could see her playing Matt
if that's what she's
used to doing with men
to get what she wants.
‐ The new girls
who came in with me last night,
our perspective
is we have to catch up.
I know that I deserve
to be here,
I know that I'm here
for the right reasons,
and so at the point of, like,
do I feel like everyone
should respect everyone?
Yes, and I'm sure
that the other new girls
are feeling somewhat similar.
‐ Michelle's here
at the house with us today.
The only new girl.
You know, obviously, a little‐‐
an uncomfortable situation
for everybody.
‐
‐ For this week,
I hope to get the one‐on‐one.
Um, I hope that Michelle
does not get the one‐on‐one,
just because a lot of us
are hoping
that, at this point,
one‐on‐ones are based
on furthering a connection
rather than starting one.
‐ Michelle.
‐
‐ "Let's make up
for lost time...
Matt."
‐ Thank you.
I am genuinely excited,
um, and I want to make up
for lost time.
Like, that's
what I came here to do.
‐ Michelle, like,
we don't know you,
and you just walked in here
and got the one‐on‐one?
She's gonna have more time
than I've had
the entire time here.
It's really frustrating.
I hope she doesn't come back
with a rose, honestly.
‐ This is now
my second group date,
which obviously makes it
a little bit harder.
I did feel a little insecure
in the squirrel suit, but...
‐ You looked good
in the squirrel suit.
‐ ‐ I liked the squirrel suit.
‐ Good. But yeah.
No, I mean, it is‐‐
it's challenging, and I'm‐‐
I know you know that, too,
and I know that
you're feeling that, too,
so I'm also just still grateful
that I'm able to get those
little interactions with you,
'cause I feel it. ‐ You feel it?
‐ Mm‐hmm. ‐ Okay, good.
‐ Sticking through whatever
drama's happening in the house
makes the moments
like tonight with Matt
feel extremely worth it.
I hope I get the rose.
‐ I really enjoyed my time
and conversations
with everyone tonight.
Brittany,
I appreciate how bold you were
and your gestures,
and Anna, I'm continuing to love
what I'm getting to know
about you...
‐ I really hope I get the rose.
This is like the first time
I kind of feel like
I have an actual shot at it.
‐ But unfortunately, tonight,
there's only one rose.
Bri...
will you accept this rose?
‐ Yes.
‐.
‐ Thank you. ‐ You're welcome.
‐ Brittany bites me in the ass.
‐ It's getting late,
so I will see you all tomorrow.
‐ She comes in and blatantly
disrespects time.
If her intentions are ill,
that messes
with my relationship.
That messes with my feelings.
That directly affects me.
Brittany, I really want
to talk to you.
‐ Yeah. ‐ Um...
we're all fighting
for the same man,
so I just wanna make sure
that your intentions...
‐ Yeah. ‐ Are pure coming here.
So coming into this,
I actually was getting messages
from people in Chicago,
um...
and just kind of them
saying, like,
"Watch out for this girl."
That, like, you're an escort
and all this stuff.
‐ Wait, you were telling people
in the house that?
‐ Think that's an awful thing
to say about someone,
and I want to apologize
but also kind of give you
the space
if you wanted to talk
about, like, why
people were sending warnings
about you
when I literally
have never met you.
‐ No, I'm not a escort.
Like, it's just
like so ridiculous
to even, like, say that,
like, to have that
come out of my mouth, like...
I've had a boyfriend my entire‐‐
like, since I was 16.
Making, like,
a conclusion about me
before you, like,
even know me just...
That's sh... that's.
I don't know.
It just makes me, like‐‐
I just feel like everyone's,
like, against me right now,
and, like, I know you guys
don't care at all...
‐
‐ But it's really hard.
‐ Okay. Then get out the house.
‐ It's extremely awkward.
Anna's intention was
to, you know, start up stuff
because Brittany's a new face,
and it's untrue...
And it's disgusting, honestly.
Moving forward,
Brittany is gonna
have to carry that with her
and defend it.
She shouldn't be put
in that situation.
‐ Then I'm glad
we had this chat.
‐ They spread a rumor about me
saying I'm an escort.
‐ She's the dumbest ho...
‐ ‐ I've ever met.
‐ We're the varsity squad.
‐ It's just mob mentality.
There's some pretty bad rumors
that literally could ruin
their lives.
‐ Who's spreading
these rumors, and why?
‐ Apparently,
the nightlife world in Chicago
is pretty small, so...
Anna and Brittany
know each other?
‐ Yeah, I mean,
we talked about it with Anna,
because Anna, like, knew of her,
and Anna said that she runs
around with the big spenders,
but she's not one of the working
bottle service girls, so...
There are some rumors
about Brittany,
but it's a rumor
until proven false or true.
‐ A lot of times,
these men are just kind of
paying these girls
to spend time with them.
‐ To hang out with them. Yeah.
In a perfect world, obviously,
we would not want
any more drama,
but with Brittany,
I can only see it
getting worse and worse.
‐ It was hard to sleep
last night,
but in a good way, though.
How are you? ‐ Good.
How are you doing? ‐ Good.
The fact that I actually
get to make up for lost time
so quickly
with Matt on a one‐on‐one
is pretty cool.
‐ You look great. ‐ All right.
‐ You look ready to go.
‐ I like the sweater!
‐ Thank you. ‐ Hey.
I'm a person
that likes to have fun,
so I really hope that I get
to see that side of him today.
‐ Are you nervous?
‐ Good‐nervous.
Like, I'm ready to go.
How are you? ‐ I'm excited.
‐ Yeah? ‐ Yeah.
When you first got here,
you really caught my eye,
and I know that some
of the other women
had a head start, but I wanted
to spend today with you,
'cause I felt something,
and I wanted to explore it
with you.
‐ I'm so ready. ‐ Me too.
‐ I have no idea
what we're doing.
‐ You really don't know? ‐ No.
‐ Chris Harrison
has taken over responsibility
for planning the date...
‐ Oh, no.
‐ And we're going
on an extreme scavenger hunt.
‐ ‐ Yeah, no.
The sky's the limit
when he's in control.
I really enjoyed
getting to know Michelle
that first night
that she pulled up.
‐ Okay. Are you ready?
‐ I'm ready. ‐
‐ I love the fact
that she's a teacher
and she's a former athlete...
First clue.
And I'm looking forward to
learning more about her today.
‐ Okay.
"Matt and Michelle,
"take the leap
to find your next clue.
Chris Harrison."
‐
‐ Wait, we're going
off that thing?
‐ Yeah, we're going
off this thing.
So our first clue
is talking about
a leap of faith,
and from the looks of things,
it's gonna take
a lot of faith and prayers
to get to the bottom
of this thing safely.
So I'm trying to be strong,
but I'm a little nervous.
‐ Oh, my gosh.
‐ Are you nervous?
‐ I'm really...
Do I look nervous? ‐ No.
You look great.
‐ Okay, ready?
One, two, three.
‐ Go!
Ahh!
‐ ‐ Ah!
‐
Whoa! ‐ Whoo!
Whoo!
‐
‐ That was awesome. ‐ Wow.
‐ My eyes are watering.
Does that mean
I technically won?
‐ You technically did win.
Somehow, she slipped ahead
at the end.
Like, I was leading
the whole way,
and then Michelle
finished first.
I was like, "What?"
I don't know.
‐ It's good for you
to learn early on.
I'm just kidding.
‐ I feel like our clue
is in one of these balloons.
It's gotta be.
‐ I'll hold one, and you pop it.
Oh, God. Oh.
‐ All right.
"Any hidden talents?"
‐ Oh, God. ‐ No pressure.
Okay. ‐ Like this.
‐ Okay.
First of all, how did you
figure out that that was‐‐
like, were you just sitting
at home just like, "Oh, wow"?
‐ It's been a really fun day
so far.
And as I'm laughing
and just, like, enjoying
all these really fun moments
with Matt...
‐
‐ I do feel like he's a person
that has all these qualities
that I've been looking for.
How many children
do you hope to have?
You wanna say it
at the same time on three?
‐ I like that.
‐ Okay, ready?
One, two, three.
Three.
‐
‐ Wrap it up.
Time to go home.
‐ Michelle is incredible.
It's hard to let your guard down
around someone new,
but Michelle makes that easy.
‐ "Matt and Michelle,
it's time to take your love
to new heights."
‐ Oh, my gosh.
‐ Hot air balloon, here we come.
‐ The more time I'm spending
with Michelle,
I realize that we could have fun
literally doing anything.
Wow.
‐ You are a tall man
in a hot air balloon.
‐ This is‐‐
this is a great date.
‐ Is your head hot? ‐ Yes.
Is yours? ‐ Yeah.
It feels like
we're kind of just like
taking our connection in stride.
We're not missing a beat.
What? Today is just unreal,
and this is the best first date
that I've ever experienced.
‐ Guys... ‐ Don't look.
‐ It's a hot air balloon!
‐ It's a hot air balloon!
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ You see her? ‐ Yes.
‐ I see her, but‐‐
‐ Straight up.
‐ Really? ‐ Yes.
‐ I wanna vomit right now.
‐ We look out,
and there happens to be
a Nemacolin hot air balloon
with Matt and... Michelle.
‐ Wow.
‐ It is a hot time. ‐ Oh, man.
‐ Today's been incredible.
Like, I'm just up there
vibing with Michelle.
It's something about
her presence, you know?
It's‐‐it's‐‐she
kind of puts me at ease.
It feels like I've known her
for a long time,
and today is just confirming
everything that I felt.
‐ Imagine your first kiss
in a hot air balloon.
Stop!
‐ I'm sorry. It just came out.
I don't know why I said it.
But imagine‐‐
‐ ‐ Shut up!
‐ Matt is definitely somebody
that I could
picture myself with.
I just want
to keep moving forward
and continue to get to know
more and more about him
and see the different sides
of him
and what makes him tick.
Oh, my gosh.
‐ To me, Michelle
getting a one‐on‐one
is sort of bittersweet,
'cause it's hopeful
knowing that us newer girls
do have a chance,
but at the same time,
it's like another girl
getting more time with him
that I don't get.
It's a weird thing
where you're like happy
but not at the same time.
‐ I'm definitely not happy
at all.
‐ I'm not happy at all.
‐ I'm not happy, period.
‐ I actually don't
relate to you.
I'm just straight‐up unhappy.
‐ Date card. ‐ Date card.
‐ These girls have no idea.
Like, I can't even tell you
how bad I wanted
that one‐on‐one time.
Do I think the new girl
that just walked in here
deserves a one‐on‐one?
No.
I feel like
that was disrespectful,
like, bottom line.
‐ Katie.
Pieper.
Serena P.
Rachael.
Kit.
Chelsea.
Jessenia.
Lauren.
Serena C.
MJ.
"Are you willing
to fight for love?
Matt."
‐ Seriously?
‐ I'm so scared! ‐
‐ Wow.
What is this?
I don't know if I've ever
dated anyone like Matt.
He's a very unique person
for many wonderful reasons.
Oh, my goodness.
Look at these cars. ‐ I know.
It's a nice spot, isn't it?
‐ This is pretty cool.
‐ It's dope, right?
‐ This is so cute.
‐
‐ And so if the connection
continues to build
and it's the right fit, then...
see you later.
What was your absolute
favorite part today,
if you had to pick one part?
‐ To be honest with you? ‐ Mm.
‐ When you walked up,
'cause I was just waiting
for you.
I'm just like sitting there,
like pacing back and forth,
getting antsy,
and then I see you,
and I just started smiling.
That was my favorite part.
And then before I knew it,
the day's over.
‐ Right?
‐ Like, I feel like it flew by.
‐ Right.
‐ Which is a good thing.
You know, it's like time
with you just flies by.
‐ Well, the feeling
is definitely mutual.
It's kind of caught me
off guard how that, like,
quick conversation
at that Rose Ceremony
turned into, like,
"Why do I feel like
I've known him for so long?"
‐ Yeah.
‐ But I guess that's exactly
what I'm looking for.
That's exactly what I want,
so...
‐ You've been so patient,
and I'm so appreciative
of you being here,
and I'm excited
to just know more about you.
‐ Yes, absolutely.
‐ What made you want to get
into teaching and education?
‐ From a young age,
I just always wanted
to help those around me,
and as I got older,
I realized that you can enter
passionate work
that allows you to do that
every day.
I'm able to go to work,
and I know that I'm making
a difference.
Some days,
it doesn't feel like that
when you get home... ‐ Yeah.
‐ But I'm constantly thinking
about, like, my students...
‐ Mm‐hmm.
‐ And what kind of year it is
with the pandemic.
And everything with
George Floyd in Minnesota
this past spring‐‐
that was very close to home,
and so it's been a really
difficult year for my students,
especially my students of color,
and wanting to make sure
that I can be there for them.
‐ I mean, I can't imagine
what your students
must've been going through,
and you're trying to teach 'em,
and they're at home.
You can't hug 'em and... ‐ Yeah.
‐ Comfort 'em.
Like, what was that like?
‐ That was a absolutely
terrible, heavy situation,
and some people consider it,
like, a touchy topic.
‐ Right. ‐ Right? To talk about.
But parents wanted
to have that conversation.
‐ Yeah. Yep.
‐ You know what I mean?
Like, that's a start somewhere
is that they're releasing‐‐
"This is the conversation
that we actually need
to sit down and have."
‐ As a educator,
that's another one
of the things I love about you,
that you have a heart
for these students,
and you see that the work
you're doing
is gonna shape a generation.
‐ I think it's also important
to change those lives
of those students,
and the first thing
I think of, like,
is everything that you're doing
with your food tours,
and we talked a little
about, like,
the achievement gap
and the opportunity gap,
and it was really cool
to tap into that,
and I don't want
to just pass the time.
I want to make a change so that
when I'm not here anymore,
I impacted people. ‐ Right.
‐ You know?
People don't necessarily
always remember what you say,
um,
but they, for sure,
definitely remember
how you made them feel.
‐ Maya Angelou?
‐ You clearly know.
I'm impressed.
‐ It's one of my favorite
quotes.
‐ Wow. I mean...
I am overwhelmed
in a very good way.
‐ The conversation
with Michelle's flowing
a lot smoother
than some of the women
who have been in the house
for four weeks now.
We're able to have fun,
go up in hot air balloons,
have this great experience
during the day,
and then we're able
to really dig deep
and then talk about
things that matter
and things that are gonna
affect the future,
and that's the type of depth
that I'm looking for in a woman.
I don't want to scare you,
but I wouldn't be here
if I wasn't serious
about finding a wife,
and I know
it's wild to think about
something like that happening
so quickly,
but I felt so comfortable
with you today,
and you embody
all the qualities
I'm looking for in a woman,
and that being said,
Michelle, will you accept
this rose?
‐ Absolutely.
Thank you.
I just had the best date
anyone could ask for.
Like, I feel like I'm floating
a little bit.
On cloud nine.
Thank you.
‐ Shall we do it? ‐ Let's go.
‐ It's kind of wild
to think about
how you can form feelings
for somebody so quickly
in this process.
‐ Fancy.
‐ Everything I'm hearing
about Michelle, I love.
We're connecting
on a lot of levels,
and I just really enjoy
her company.
‐ I feel like
I'm in high school again.
The thought
that someone like Michelle
could be someone that
I call my wife is exciting,
and what I've learned
about her‐‐
her story,
who she is as a woman,
and where she's going‐‐
I've seen all I need to see.
‐ So you know
what kind of sucked is,
apparently, like,
two of the girls, like,
knew me before I came here,
and I didn't even know that,
and they wanted
to spread a rumor about me,
um, basically, like,
saying I'm an escort.
‐ Crazy. ‐ And they were saying,
"We kind of heard that, like,
Brittany likes to party
back in Chicago," and, you know,
for them to try to twist it
and say that about me
just, like, really hurt.
‐ People are gonna
throw things out
that aren't accurate.
People are gonna make up stuff,
and it's‐‐it's hard here.
‐ You know, I'm just like
not like a huge
like emotional person
in general.
Like, I can handle my emotions
really well,
but, like, right now,
I just want to, like, just cry.
If somebody doesn't like me
and feels insecure
about themselves,
to, you know,
spread a rumor about me‐‐
like, obviously,
I'm going to address it.
‐ Did Matt hear that rumor?
‐ Not that I know of.
‐ I completely sympathize
with Brittany.
I mean, the rumors that were
spread were completely false,
and that's happened to me
before.
I mean, Victoria has been
a mean girl since day one,
and then you have Anna as well.
The thing is, there's
something new every day,
and it's becoming old.
The petty, mean‐girl stuff
needs to stop.
‐ I feel like everybody else
knows about it, so...
‐ Yeah, I mean, in this house,
there are no secrets.
Like, I'll be honest.
The whole house heard that.
‐ Yeah.
‐ It's been a very intense
past week in the house,
and these girls have
some pent‐up aggression.
You gotta get that aggression
out somehow,
and today,
they have that chance.
‐ Lots of energy or game faces?
‐ Oh, yeah, not game faces.
‐ No, we're allowed‐‐
‐ We're happy!
We're gonna see our man.
‐ Last night, we got a date card
that said, "Are you willing
to fight for love?"
Maybe we'll be fighting somehow.
I don't know, but it sounds
like we have to be physical.
So, yeah, I'm scared.
‐ Ooh! ‐ Yay!
‐ Hey.
‐ Hi. ‐ Ah!
‐ What's going on?
‐ How are you?
Hi. ‐ Good to see you.
‐ He just keeps getting hotter.
‐ What up? ‐ Just‐‐oof.
It's just like... yum. Daddy.
Hi! ‐ Hello.
‐ Welcome, ladies.
Um, for those of you
who do not know,
being physically fit and active
is a major part of my lifestyle,
and to that note,
it would only be appropriate
to invite a former five‐time
world boxing champion,
Mia St. John.
‐
‐ Yes!
‐ Okay. ‐ How you doing?
‐ Hello. Thank you.
‐ Good to see you again.
‐ Well, hello, ladies. all: Hi!
‐ Mia looks awesome
in her outfit.
She's like such a badass,
and I'm like,
"Yeah, this is exciting."
‐ Are you guys ready
to fight for this man?
‐ We've been fighting.
‐ Okay! ‐
‐ So tonight,
you all are going to be fighting
in front of a live audience.
‐ Whoo!
‐ All right, let's go!
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ This week is very intense.
Seeing the new girls walk in,
get immediate quality time
with him, sucks.
‐ Good.
‐ So like,
maybe this'll be good.
Maybe I'll get some anger out.
‐ One, two, three, four.
Slide. ‐ Yeah.
‐ Up with that. Hook.
There you go.
‐ One, two, three, four. Good.
‐ Is this just like an uppercut?
Everyone on the date today
is OGs.
We all respect each other,
especially
when it comes to Matt.
‐ One, two.
‐ If this is a competitive date,
I would have rather
had some of the new girls,
just 'cause it brings out
a little more edge in me.
I would wanna, like, try harder
to beat their asses
at whatever we're doing.
‐ Yes!
‐ This is for all the other
girls you're dating!
And getting no time!
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ It's a boxing ring!
‐ Oh, my God. ‐ God.
‐ What?
‐ I feel so bad for them.
‐ Oh, my God.
‐ Oh, my God.
This is just so crazy.
Guys, scoot down.
I can't wait to see
the OG girls fight.
The suspense is gonna kill me.
‐ Welcome to the main event.
Without further ado,
let the journey begin!
Let's welcome the ladies.
Hello, Bachelor Nation,
and welcome, fight fans
from around the world.
This is the Battle
for the Bachelor.
I'm Chris Harrison,
alongside three‐time
Golden Glove champion
and Muay Thai
fighting specialist
Wells Adams.
Wells, we have five bouts
tonight.
Ten women will step
into this ring.
‐ If I was on that date,
I would've punched Katie
in the face multiple times,
'cause she's
been pissing me off.
She'd wake up with a black eye.
‐ All right, Wells,
let's go to the ring
for the first match.
Katie... ‐!
‐ Versus Jessenia.
‐ Victoria pissed me off
the other day,
so this is a good date
to just let out some steam.
Sorry in advance, Jessenia.
‐ Okay, ladies. Keep it clean.
Touch 'em up. Let's go!
‐ Oh, Katie is fierce, angry.
‐ Whoo!
‐ You got this!
‐ Oh.
‐ Oh!
‐ The dynamic in the house
is aggressive.
There's still tension
from being new in the house,
so I'm really happy
that I'm not putting on those
boxing mitts.
‐ Oh, no. Oh, my God. ‐ Whoo!
‐ Wow. ‐.
‐ Wow. ‐ Good job. Good job.
And the winner
of this bout is...
Katie!
‐ They should've put
the new girls on.
It would've been
a completely different story.
There would've been blood
if the new girls
were on this date.
‐ Serena C.
Versus the mighty Kit.
‐ All right. Touch 'em up.
Let's go.
‐ Oh, look at Kit.
Serena just going at it.
‐ Serena C.!
‐ Oh, my gosh.
‐ Rachael versus Pieper.
‐ Fun and games are over.
That emotion comes out,
and they start throwin'...
‐ Whoo!
‐ And it was
kind of frightening.
‐ Oh!
‐ Are you ready?
Let's go!
‐ Serena P
versus Lauren.
‐ Oh!
‐ There's a jab to the throat.
‐ I'm nervous.
‐
‐ There's a shot!
‐ All right, it's over,
it's over, it's over.
Done. Throw in the towel.
‐ Okay, that's it,
that's it, that's it.
‐ That's the fight.
‐ That's it, that's it.
‐ Had to call the fight.
It was getting dangerous.
And that's not
what we were going for today.
We're‐‐we're‐‐
we're in there to have fun,
but the fact that they were
so willing to get in there
and‐‐and put their skills
on the line
for‐‐for love says a lot.
How you feeling?
‐ I'm fine. I just, like...
‐ Your nose hurts?
‐ Took a punch to the nose.
Yeah, that‐‐it really hurt.
I'm fine, I'm fine.
I'll see you tonight.
‐ Today was very intense.
Um, the women
aren't too banged up.
Hit the showers.
Get some ice on that nose.
Let's head to this afterparty,
because they've earned it.
‐ Ugh.
‐ Everyone brought it today
at the group date,
but, um, things kind of got
out of hand a little bit.
It was stressful, intense,
so this evening is about
getting back on track.
I want everyone
to be comfortable,
I want everyone to feel relaxed,
and I want these women
to have a good time.
I, uh, wanted to start out
by saying
you all continue
to push yourselves
and do things
outside of your comfort zone,
and for me,
that's when I've experienced
the most growth,
and I'm seeing it
in a lot of the relationships
that I'm forming with you all.
To that point...
I'd like to propose a toast
to digging deeper tonight.
‐ Cheers. ‐ Cheers.
‐ Cheers.
‐ Matt definitely made an effort
to make me feel special
on the group date today.
He, like, came by
and checked on me
and made sure I was okay,
so it would be great
to get a rose,
but we'll see how the rest
of the night goes.
‐ How are you doing?
‐ Like, this week
was kind of hard, honestly.
You know,
whether we like it or not,
like, we spend more time
with the girls than with you...
‐ Yeah. ‐ So like,
these relationships with them
form as well.
‐ Yeah, I see that.
‐ So having the new girls
come in,
and then, like,
I was just, like...
‐ Yeah. ‐ Really feeling
a lot of things that night
I got overwhelmed by.
‐ Yeah, I get, like,
where you're coming from
where it's like‐‐like, you‐‐
you spend more time with them.
Like, you're in the house with
them, and they're your friends,
and it's like, this process
isn't easy for anybody.
So what do you need from me
to feel like I want you here
and I don't want you
to go anywhere?
‐ Um, let's see. ‐
‐ There's a rose up there.
I'm just kidding.
‐ If it's really meant to be
at the end,
like, nothing can change that,
even, you know, five new girls
showing up, you know...
‐ I agree.
‐ And, like,
if we're both feeling this,
then, like, that's
all that matters, you know?
I did have some worries
in the back of my mind,
but I knew it was just because
I hadn't talked to him
in so long,
and, like, yeah.
I mean, I just feel
so much better now
after talking to him.
It's like a complete reset,
you know?
I'm, like, shaking and...
so hot.
‐ I think that we were all
nervous going into this date...
‐ Oh, my God.
The amount of anxiety I had
going into this date,
like, I just can't even explain.
‐ So we're like, "All right.
We did it. We survived."
‐ Yeah, literally.
‐ I just need time with him.
‐ So how are you feeling?
‐ Good. ‐ Good.
‐ I, um... I feel like
I could do a better job
of letting you know
how much I like you
and like being around you.
‐ That's really funny
that you say that,
'cause that's exactly
what I was gonna tell you.
I mean, being vulnerable,
like, about my feelings
is probably one of the hardest
things for me to do.
Like, growing up,
always kind of saw that
as a sign of weakness,
but for me,
that's, like, removed
because I really like you,
and, like, every time I see you,
I smile, and every time...
‐ I see that.
‐ Damn it! I like you.
‐ Well, for not
sharing feelings,
I feel like you're doing
a really good job.
‐ I'm trying.
‐ We're on the same page.
‐ I like that.
‐ On the date today,
tension was high,
and, um, you know,
it's always tough
to end the night
on a note like that,
but we've moved on,
and this night's off
to a great start,
and so I just want
to keep it going.
‐ Oh, my God, when
those new girls showed up,
I was like, "This is.
I haven't even had time yet."
‐ I know.
‐ I gave up so much to be here
to, like, not get time already,
and then, like, that extra
walked in.
I was just like, "This sucks."
‐ Brittany is like straight up
, like, serial‐killer weird.
‐
‐ She's just weird.
‐ Also, she could be an escort.
‐ Yeah. Whore.
And then Catalina's the dumbest
ho I've ever met.
I definitely don't see her
lasting.
I don't know. ‐ Yeah.
‐ I'm ready to steal
my man's heart back,
and then the new girls came in.
‐ And then the new girls.
‐ I was like...
‐ They call came in
pretty strongly too.
‐ Yeah.
‐ It was a little too cocky.
‐ These girls
just kind of swoop in,
so yeah, it did feel like
a slap in the face.
‐ It was annoying
that Michelle is just
still getting that time.
‐ She was like, you know,
"I'm gonna use this time
to see if I like Matt,"
and I was like...
‐ Pffft!
‐ "You're getting a whole day
"to figure out if you like Matt
"when girls have now decided
they like Matt
and know they like Matt."
‐ Don't come in here and tell me
you deserve the one‐on‐one,
'cause you do not know,
and don't tell me
you get what it's like,
'cause you don't get it. ‐ Yeah.
‐ That's just another thing
of them just being ignorant.
‐ I feel like‐‐I get it,
we're entitled to our feelings,
but at the end of the day,
they live with us,
and I would hate to be
on their side of this.
And so the continuous,
like, digs‐‐
at some point,
we gotta kind of get over it
and welcome them into the house
a little bit.
‐ ‐ Yeah.
I totally‐‐
I know what you mean.
I just love us. That's all.
‐ I really do.
‐ It's all the varsity squad
here tonight.
I really appreciate that.
‐ The environment here
hasn't been the best,
especially for the new girls,
and I've tried my best
to stand up‐‐
you know,
being the devil's advocate
when things
are being discussed‐‐
and it just
isn't really working.
But Matt, he doesn't know
anything about it,
and I think
he'd be pretty shocked
to hear the things
that they're saying,
and I'm gonna let him know.
‐ Can I borrow you for a second?
‐ Yes.
‐ Hi. ‐ Hi.
‐ Sorry, I don't wanna mess up
like part of your night,
but it would probably
be a good time
to, I don't know,
address some of the bullying
that's kind of been happening
in the house.
And it's‐‐it's hard for me
to keep trying
to stand up for these women
when we have this,
like, mob mentality.
‐ Right.
‐ I will admit‐‐ in this room‐‐
that, like, I was not the most
respectful person to them.
‐ Pieper!
‐ Jokes that are not the nicest.
‐ The house just needs
to be better.
It's just a toxic environment,
and there's
some pretty bad rumors
that are starting
about the new girls
that literally
could ruin their lives.
Not even exaggerating.
‐ Territory is territory.
You don't want people coming in
and disrupting that.
And that sounds very warlike,
but it's just kind of, like,
who I am.
‐ I just figured, tomorrow,
everyone's together in one room.
You could address it,
and coming from you,
I think it would just
mean a lot more to them.
‐ I hear it,
and that's something
that I'll never stand for
and I'm gonna address tomorrow.
‐ Yeah.
‐ When Katie mentioned
that the bullying rumors
could potentially ruin
this woman's life...
I had to take a step back,
because for me, it's bigger‐‐
now it's bigger
than our relationship.
It's‐‐it's their family,
it's their career,
and I don't want that
for anybody.
‐ Sorry to bring it up.
‐ No, no. Thank you.
‐ You know, and not
take too much time, and‐‐
‐ No, that's important.
I need to have
these conversations.
‐ Yeah. ‐ Thank you.
‐ All right. Have a good night.
‐ You too.
Who's spreading these rumors,
and why?
And the fact that somebody
in the house
thinks that
they're gonna be able
to bully their way
to my heart...
that's not how it works.
It's not something that I want
to be a part of this journey,
and I need to get
to the bottom of it,
so better believe
I'm gonna bring it up.
‐ Next week on "The Bachelor"...
‐ I didn't sign up
to be bullied.
‐ People have said
disrespectful things.
‐ If you're having
to belittle someone else
for you to shine,
then those aren't the qualities
I'm looking for in my wife.
‐ There shouldn't be
any disrespect,
and there has been.
‐ I'm always playful.
It was never malicious.
‐ I feel horrible.
‐ Those apologies... ‐
‐ Are not sincere.
She needs to go home.
‐ I owe it to these women
to create a safe space for them,
and that's what I'm gonna do.
‐ You put my character
in question.
‐ That's complete.
‐ I feel like you're deflecting.
‐ I don't give a anymore.
‐ You have to own up
to things that you've done.
‐ I need to sit down.
‐ Oh, my God. ‐ What? What?
‐ The drama continues next week
on "The Bachelor."
‐ The more I get to know you,
like...
‐ Yeah. ‐ I am the k‐‐
I'm serious.
I like to be serious
when I'm serious.
I like to be‐‐I'm goofy.
I like dancing.
‐ Yes. ‐ I love dance.
I think life without dancing
is boring.
‐ Are we gonna dance right now?
‐ Uh, not me.
I just wanna see you to dance.
‐ You wanna see me dance?
‐ Yes. ‐ Okay.
Sweet. ‐ Oh!
‐ You ready? ‐ I am.
I'm so ready.
‐ And this is the judgment‐‐
this is the judgment‐free zone.
‐ Oh, I promise.
‐ Okay, good. ‐ You got it. Okay
‐ You ready? ‐ Okay.
What do you want me to do?
I'm just gonna look.
‐ You just vibe.
I'm gonna do my thing now.
‐ Thank you. ‐ You ready?
‐ Okay. ‐ It goes like this.
‐ Okay.
‐ That's all I got.
‐ That's great. That's great.
I... ‐
