as they embark on a 17-hour
bus ride travelling nearly
1,400 kilometres north
from Toronto to Thunder Bay.
This former 17th-century fur
trading outpost is surrounded by
over 500,000 square kilometres
of wild Canadian wilderness.
When they finally arrive,
teams will be released
at five-minute intervals,
based on their signup order
at the iconic
Terry Fox Monument
where they'll receive
their next clue.
On September the 1st, 1980,
Terry Fox ended his
Marathon of Hope
just outside Thunder Bay.
TERRY FOX: I'm not

I'm gonna fight.
All I can say is that
if there's any way
I can get out there again,
and finish it, I will.
Decades later, his journey
is honoured every year in Canada
and around the world,
helping raise
over $750,000,000
for cancer research.
Terry Fox continues to

In Cutting Edge,
teams must make their way
to Lakehead University Faculty
of Natural Resources air field,
on the outskirts
of Thunder Bay.
Once here, they'll unbox
one of these drone kits
from The Source,
Canada's largest tech retailer.
Using these top-of-the-line,
DJI Mavic 2 zoom drones
racers will have to spot four
of these stuffed moose toys
in this massive field.
Positioned behind a screen,
one racer will use
this remote controller
to blindly fly the drone
over their own
individual airfield,
while the other uses
virtual reality goggles
to give navigation commands
to spot the moose,
and mark their location
on this board.
Once they've correctly
located all their moose,
they'll receive their next clue.
In Cutting a Wedge,
teams must make their way
to the award-winning, family-run
Thunder Oak Cheese Farm,
the first dairy farm in
Ontario to produce gouda,
a famous Dutch cheese.
Once there,
teams must locate
a specific numbered gouda wheel,
which they'll need to
cut and weight exactly,
making sure it's between
230 and 270 grams.
Finally, teams must correctly
package 32 individual pieces
of this all-natural,
locally-made cheese.
Once the gouda's been prepped
and packaged to the exacting
standards of Thunder Oak Farms,
Walter the cheesemaker
will give them
their next clue.
And this is a limited
stations detour,
with a maximum of
three spots each.
Once a station on either
side has been occupied,
it can no longer be
used by another team.

of Thunder Bay.
Once here, they'll unbox
one of these drone kits
from The Source,
Canada's largest tech retailer.
Using these top-of-the-line,
DJI Mavic 2 zoom drones
racers will have to spot four
of these stuffed moose toys
in this massive field.
Positioned behind a screen,
one racer will use
this remote controller
to blindly fly the drone
over their own
individual airfield,
while the other uses
virtual reality goggles
to give navigation commands
to spot the moose,
and mark their location
on this board.
Once they've correctly
located all their moose,
they'll receive their next clue.
In Cutting a Wedge,
teams must make their way
to the award-winning, family-run
Thunder Oak Cheese Farm,
the first dairy farm in
Ontario to produce gouda,
a famous Dutch cheese.
Once there,
teams must locate
a specific numbered gouda wheel,
which they'll need to
cut and weight exactly,
making sure it's between
230 and 270 grams.
Finally, teams must correctly
package 32 individual pieces
of this all-natural,
locally-made cheese.
Once the gouda's been prepped
and packaged to the exacting
standards of Thunder Oak Farms,
Walter the cheesemaker
will give them
their next clue.
And this is a limited
stations detour,
with a maximum of
three spots each.
Once a station on either
side has been occupied,
it can no longer be
used by another team.
